Analysis of the Discipline of Grade V Students in the Learning Process at SD Negeri 2 Ngampel Blora Regency Central Java

<span>The problem of student discipline is an important thing that must be considered. It is known that in the learning process there are various discipline problems committed by students such as skipping school, arriving late, disobeying school rules and regulations, not doing the assigned tasks, not focusing on learning, etc. often occur. If these various problems are left unchecked, they will interfere with the student learning process and have an impact on their learning achievement. This research aims to find out the problems of student discipline in class V of SD Negeri 2 Ngampel and its impact on learning achievement, as well as the efforts given by teachers in instilling the value of discipline towards students. This research was aimed at teachers and fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Ngampel. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques obtained from interviews, observations, questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the discipline of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Ngampel is quite good. However, it needs to be improved again when viewed from several existing discipline problems. Therefore, a teacher plays an important role in striving to instill the value of discipline to students so that the learning process can run effectively.</span>

Navigating perilous seas: unmasking online banking frauds, perceived usefulness, fear of cybercrime and distrust in online banking

PurposeThe purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between online banking fraud experience and fear of cybercrime and distrust of online banking services, and to understand how perceived usefulness of online banking moderates the relationship.Design/methodology/approachThe number of respondents involved in this study was 271 people from the Central Java region, Indonesia. Statistical analysis was performed using Jeffreys’s Amazing Statistics Program software to examine the relationships and interactions between the variables studied.FindingsExperience of online banking fraud is positively related to fear of cybercrime and distrust of online banking services. Perceived usefulness of online banking moderates the relationship between online banking fraud experience and fear of cybercrime and distrust of digital payments. Perceived usefulness is negatively related to the level of distrust of online banking services.Research limitations/implicationsOverall, the implications of this study underscore the importance of dealing with the risks of cybercrime in online banking services. By focusing on security, user awareness and the role of perceived usefulness, banking service providers can create a safer and more trusting environment for users of online banking services. This also contributes to the development of more innovative services and can increase customer satisfaction and trust.Practical implicationsThe practical application of these findings is important for financial institutions and online banking service providers. Companies must improve cybersecurity with the latest technology and provide education about online security practices. Transparent communication and better customer service will help overcome customer fears. Compliance with security regulations and technological innovation is also important to protect online banking services. With these steps, customer security and trust can be improved, and the adoption of online banking services will increase widely.Social implicationsThe social implications of this research are increasing public awareness about cybersecurity, consumer protection and strengthening trust in online banking services. With joint efforts, a safer and more trusting environment in using online banking services can be realized.Originality/valueThe originality of this research lies in the use of perceived usefulness of online banking as a moderating variable to reduce the negative impact of online banking fraud experience. With a focus on the psychological effects of customers experiencing fraud, this research seeks to rebuild trust and improve the security of online banking services.

Tradisi Nyabuk Gunung Pada Masyarakat Lereng Gunung Sumbing, Jawa Tengah Sebagai Upaya Konservasi Lahan Pertanian

Central Java has a variety of cultures and customs that are very unique and interesting to learn, one of which is a farming system for people who live around the mountains with uneven and sloping land. The writing of this article aims to describe a farming system in Central Java society called 'Nyabuk Gunung', namely how to grow crops by making rice terraces formed according to contour lines. The research method used in this research is to use a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques of literature studies, field observations and farmer interviews. Literature study is a method used to collect data or sources related to the topics raised in a study. The results of this study indicate that the Nyabuk Gunung farming system was created by the surrounding community in addition to utilizing existing land, also to prevent erosion and landslides on their land. Plants planted by the community in the form of suitable plantation crops are located in the highlands, such as tea, coffee and other vegetable crops. The Nyabuk Gunung farming system can be a solution for agriculture in the Central Java region which has mountainous topography as land conversion and prevents natural disasters such as landslides.

ENHANCING STUNTING REDUCTION THROUGH COLLABORATIVE GOVERNANCE: CONCEPTS AND IMPLEMENTATION IN BREBES REGENCY

The issue of stunting is a severe hindrance to the next generation and poses serious challenges for upgrading human resources in low-income states. Brebes Regency in Central Java successfully halved malnutrition due to the right strategy. This paper examines the methods used by Brebes to achieve this decrease, employing a descriptive qualitative research method through observations, literature reviews, and interviews. The research results show that Brebes implemented collaborative governance using two theories: collaborative governance and the Penta Helix cooperation paradigm. This approach integrated resources, revitalized community empowerment, and improved coordination and communication among stakeholders. To conceptually develop some critical requisite ingredients for institutionalizing collaboration, the thesis derives a conceptual framework and proposes ways to fill these gaps. Although impressive improvements have been made in reducing stunting rates, further refinements in collaborative governance practices are required for continued effectiveness. These lessons provide a template for potential strategies that may need to be implemented in other regions, emphasizing the necessity of cross-sector cooperation and holistic governance approaches.

Motivational evaluation of food security programs in Central Java, Indonesia

Purpose. This research aims to determine the level of motivation of the target audience (group, farmer associations (Gapoktan) or farm) and factors that influence motivation in participating in the implementation of the Toko Tani Indonesia (TTI) program. Methodology / approach. This research was conducted by direct interview method with all Farmer Shops and Gapoktan / Poktan in three regions in Central Java, namely Semarang City, Sukoharjo Regency, and Grobogan Regency. Data collection is carried out using a questionnaire with a Likert scale measurement. The methods used for analysis are descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS). Results. The results show that the motivation level of TTI actors is high, meaning that program implementers in the field have a substantial boost from social, economic, and socio-economic factors. These results indicate that this food security program can be implemented well because field implementers can feel the overall positive impact. Furthermore, in SEM analysis, factors influencing motivation show that mediating variables for capacity and perception significantly correlate with motivation. Meanwhile, the government support and characteristics variables have a significant relationship with the mediation variables. Originality / scientific novelty. The novelty of this study is the analysis of research conducted on the motivation of food security program actors with the object of study that is rarely used as research, namely the PUPM Program through the Indonesian Farmer Shop (TTI). This program aims to stabilise prices and solve supply chain problems in Indonesia. This is so that rice prices do not harm farmers or the community. Therefore, the value of this study is that it attempts to answer the question of how to influence the motivation and sustainability of the program so that the government, together with the community and stakeholders, can ensure national food security. Practical value / implications. The research results can be a recommendation for related parties and policymakers to continue implementing the TTI program to implement national food security. This study shows that the government can use these factors to maintain and increase motivation to maximise program implementation; so that the objectives of this program can be implemented and the program can be continued for the following periods.

Analisis Peningkatan Upaya Pemungutan Pajak (Tax Effort) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi Jawa Tengah

Regional Tax Collection Efforts in Indonesia are still low. There are only a few local governments in Indonesia with Tax Effort values ​​above the average. There is a unique fact that the 3 (three) regions that contribute the largest regional taxes in Indonesia (apart from DKI Jakarta), namely the regions in West Java, East Java and Central Java, actually have Tax Effort values ​​that are still below the average. flat. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of variables such as GRDP per capita, Development of the Manufacturing Industry Sector, Development of the Services Sector, Number of MSMEs, and Capital Expenditures on District/City Tax Effort in Central Java Province. The data used in this research is secondary and panel data. The research time span covers seven years, from 2017 to 2023, involving 35 districts/cities in Central Java Province. Data sources were obtained from the Ministry of Finance (Directorate General of Fiscal Balance) and the Central Statistics Agency. Data analysis in this research used multiple linear regression analysis. The results obtained showed that the development of the service sector and MSMEs had a positive impact on Regency/City Tax Effort in Central Java.

Environmental Health Impacts on The Sustainability of The Coral Reef Ecosystem in Gede Island, Indonesia

Gede Island, located north of Rembang Regency in Central Java, Indonesia, hosts coral reefs in poor environmental health. This study aimed to assess the impact of environmental health on various dimensions of sustainability to guide stakeholder decision-making. A descriptive quantitative method was employed. Observations of coral reef variables, including type and percentage of cover, were conducted using the Point Intercept Transect (PIT) method. The sustainability status of management practices was analysed using the Multidimensional Scaling (MDS) method with Rapfish (Rapid Assessment Techniques for Fisheries) 2013 version R software. The results identified 16 genera from three sampling points: Station 1 had 30.35% hard coral cover, Station 2 had 1%, and Station 3 had 12.94%. The sustainability status of Gede Island's coral reefs was evaluated across five attributes: ecological (41.61%), social (48.05%), economic (40.08%), institutional (26.36%), and technological (57.03%). Among these, only the technological attribute was classified as moderately sustainable, while the others were deemed less sustainable. A high sustainability status offers significant potential and benefits for the local community, such as opportunities for ecotourism and fisheries sustainability.

A Utilization of Visual Communication Media to Enhance Community Participation in the Back to School Movement in Brebes Regency

Brebes Regency still has a relatively low HDI compared to other regencies in Central Java. One of the causes of the low HDI in Brebes Regency is the low level of education. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Brebes Regency in 2020, the gross enrollment rate (APK) of children aged 7-12 years in Brebes Regency was 93.86%. This means that out of 100 children aged 7-12 years in Brebes Regency, only around 94 children attend school. Responding to these conditions, the Brebes Regency Government launched the Back to School Movement (GKB) to provide opportunities for children who have dropped out of school to continue their education. In implementing the GKB there are still obstacles, including limited infrastructure and human resources. Based on directions from the Brebes Regency DINDIKPORA, the service team was directed to provide training and assistance to the Education Care Community Forum (FMPP) in Sigambir Village, Brebes District, Brebes Regency in developing visual communication media, which can later be used to support the outreach activities of the Back to School Movement to various levels of society. The method for implementing service activities is designed using 4 activity stages, namely preliminary studies to identify needs, training in developing visual communication media, assistance with media implementation and evaluation. Visual communication media can increase effectiveness and efficiency in conveying socialization messages to a wider audience, make it easier to understand the message, and increase the audience's attractiveness and interaction with the message conveyed. Through this service activity, it is hoped that the Education Care Community Forum (FMPP) in Sigambir Village, Brebes District, can maximize its potential as an extension of the Brebes Regency Government in increasing community participation in the Back to School Movement in Brebes Regency.

Identification, Mapping and Solutions for Drought Management in Kaliori District, Rembang Regency, Indonesia

Rembang Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java that often experiences drought. Based on the results of the mapping of drought-prone areas for 2020 carried out by the Rembang Regency government, there are 63 villages spread across 14 sub-districts, 18,885 families are recorded as experiencing drought. Kaliori District is one of the sub-districts in Rembang Regency that is experiencing drought, this sub-district consists of 23 villages and is directly adjacent to the north of Java Sea. The purpose of this research is to be able to do a mapping for planning sustainable drought solutions, obtain quantitative data on drought and stages of drought management. The stages of the research carried out were site surveys and interviews related to drought in the Kaliori area. Prior to the Focus Group Discussion (FGD), a questionnaire was prepared. This research was conducted through joint FGD with all village heads in Kaliori District regarding water drought in Rembang. Based on the FGD and the statistical analysis results, it was found that 70% of Kaliori District experienced drought. When there is a drought, generally villages in Kaliori sub-district use water from water tanks and some use wells of poor quality and having a salty taste. The majority of villages in Kaliori Sub-district experienced a drought that lasted for 4-5 months of a year. Several parties involved in dealing with drought in Kaliori Sub-district included PAMSIMAS, Karang Taruna, Banser, Paguyuban, and P3A. Some solutions proposed are river connection, estuary river gate, and reservoir optimation.

Digital Campaign Dysfunction in Indonesian Regional Election During the COVID-19 Pandemic

The 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in Indonesia during the COVID-19 pandemic caused digital campaigns to become the most viable alternative amidst health protocol restrictions. Preliminary data shows that the use of digital for political campaigns was not optimal. The readiness of candidates and voters to enter the digital campaign era is interesting for further analysis. This article aims to understand the campaign practices of candidates in the digital space during the pandemic, as well as analyze the readiness of candidates and voters in the digital campaign. Qualitative case study research was conducted using a holistic multi-case design in three regions in Central Java, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out by observing candidates' social media, as well as interviews with campaigners. The research results show that the digital campaign was a "forced" situation, not a creative idea of the candidates. The digital space has yet to become an effective public sphere for discussing candidate ideas and programs with voters. The lack of public engagement with campaigns in the digital space shows that a digital political habitus has yet to be formed in society. As a result, digital campaign dysfunction occurs when candidates and voters are not well connected in effective political communication, even though both are in the digital space. Integration of Community-Based on Tour Packages to Realize A Sustainable Tourism Village: The Case of Penadaran Tourism Village Grobogan Regency Central Java

Penadaran Village, Gubug District, Grobogan Regency, Central Java, is a village that has very diverse tourism potential, both natural, cultural and artificial potentials. Currently, the village has been included in the top 300 of the Indonesian Tourism Village Award in 2023. Initial studies show that Penadaran Village does not yet have a strategy on how to develop a tourism village, even though the village has the potential to be used as tourism activities such as tour packages, homestays and traditional culinary. This is because there are still many elements of society who do not understand about tourism villages and the management of tourism village products. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to integrate the tourism potential of Penadaran Village into a tour package that involves the community. The primary data collection technique used in the study was using focus group discussion (FGD) which was attended by the community, tourism awareness groups, village government officials and local entrepreneurs. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis that describes the results of FGD. The results achieved in this study are the compilation of several tour packages consisting of one-day tour packages, two-day one-night tour packages and three-day and two-night tour packages.

Strengthening the Blue Economy through Marine, Coastal Resources and the Social Environment

The fisheries sector is a sector which supports Indonesia’s development, because the waters in Indonesia are wider than the land. Central Java is a region that has a long coastline stretching along the north coast and the south coast of Java. This supports the development of fisheries potential in Indonesia. Research on the blue economy theme for the fisheries sector is being promoted. The method used is an analysis of economic aspects in Central Java, especially people engaged in fisheries (GRDP and income per capita), potential fisheries resources, human resource potential (number of fish fishermen and cultivators), fisheries households, as well as aspects of production and value fisheries production. The results of this research can provide an overview of the potential of fisheries in Central Java to facilitate their management. The research results show that GRDP in the fields of fisheries, forestry, and agriculture during the 2018-2022 period was 3.23%-7.33%; the highest per capita expenditure in the food sector is used to purchase food, and non-food cost is for housing and household facilities. The highest fish resource potential is a small pelagic fish. The most increased fisheries production in 2022 in the Central Java region will be in Rembang and Pati Regencies which have coastlines and are coastal areas.

Simulation of Small-Scale Solar Power Generation System in The Central Java Region: A Case Study of the Cilacap Area

The limitations of conventional non-renewable energy resources raise concerns about sustainability and energy supply security in the future. One of the worrying factors is the carbon dioxide emissions that can affect living organisms' health. Renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and hydropower, emerge as solutions capable of minimizing environmental impacts and reducing dependence on limited resources. Therefore, this research will simulate and design a small-scale renewable energy power generation system, particularly solar energy, in the Cilacap region, Central Java. The main components involved in this research include PV arrays, IGBT diodes, and universal bridges, supported by supporting elements such as displays, scopes, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and bus selectors. The technical data used as input are specific to the area. The simulation results show that the direct power generated by one modelled PV array is 221.7 W per hour. This research contributes to optimising small-scale solar power generation systems in the designated area, considering relevant components and parameters to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Angkut.in: The Future of Trucking by Digital Product Design Journey

Jepara Regency in Central Java, Indonesia, is renowned as the "World Carving Center" due to its flourishing furniture carving industry. Despite successfully exporting carvings globally, the distribution process encounters challenges with conventional methods, primarily due to a limited truck fleet exacerbated by the post-pandemic situation. This study aims to scrutinize the effectiveness of "Angkut.in" as an innovative solution for overcoming hurdles in heavy goods distribution, particularly furniture. Utilizing Design Thinking, the research incorporates an analysis of the application of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and digital marketing strategies within the "Angkut.in" application design. Employing a Supply Chain Management (SCM) approach, the research assesses the application's impact on local innovation growth, operational efficiency, and the competitiveness of the furniture industry. Market analysis indicates a focus on the online furniture entrepreneur segment. The marketing strategy involves real-time tracking services, live price checking, and user-friendly application interfaces. The business model adopts a Business-to-Business (B2B) approach, emphasizing transportation services for large goods businesses. The business identity design encompasses color selection, typography, and graphic elements that mirror the innovative and reliable nature of goods delivery services. Risk analysis covers technological factors, market competition, loss of goods, data security, capital limitations, regulatory changes, market acceptance, and force majeure. Angkut.In is categorized as a low-risk business according to the risk analysis matrix. The prototype validation by UKM Partners yielded a score of 8.5 out of 10, indicating maturity and compliance with most evaluation criteria. The provided fix notes will guide further development steps before the official launch.

GIS-Based flood susceptibility mapping in Wawar Watershed, Purworejo Regency

Purworejo is one of the regency in Central Java which vulnerable to being affected by flood in rainy season. Wawar watershed is one of the watersheds in Purworejo Regency, the land use in Wawar watershed is dominated by agricultural land so the potential for flooding is quite high in the downstream area. This study aims to determine the distribution of flood-prone locations and classify the level of flood susceptibility that occurs in Wawar Watershed. The method used in this study is data processing on GIS (Geographic Information Systems) using scoring method and weighting of each parameter. These parameters include land use, altitude, rainfall, slope, soil type, and river flow buffers. The resulting hazard map has 3 categories, low, moderate, and high vulnerable level. The results also show that highly vulnerable areas in the southern part of Wawar Watershed that dominated by lowlands area, flat slope, settlement and ricefield land use.

Spatial distribution of social vulnerability to flood disasters in Mejobo Sub-District, Kudus Regency, Indonesia

Central Java province has the highest disaster risk index (score 203) of 33 provinces in Indonesia. In 2022, the Province was most affected by floods with 203 incidents. Kudus Regency is one of the regencies in Central Java that is often affected by floods. Mejobo sub-district is the sub-district with the most flood events in the last 5 years. The frequent occurrence of floods triggers various emerging problems such as social vulnerability. Hence, the purpose of this study is to examine social vulnerability and population analysis in the Mejobo sub-district. The calculation of vulnerability classes uses 5 parameters, namely population density, people with disabilities, vulnerable age groups, poor people, and women. which is then scored for each parameter and classified into 3 vulnerability classes (low, middle, and high vulnerability). The results obtained for low vulnerability were found in 3 villages, namely Jojo, Temulus, and Tenggeles Villages. Moderate vulnerability is in the villages of Hadiwarno, Kirig, and Mejobo. In the high vulnerability class, there are 5 villages, namely Golantepus, Jepang, Gulang, Kesambi, and Payaman.

ENTREPRENEURIAL COMPETENCE AND PERSONALITY AS DRIVERS OF ENTREPRENEURIAL COMMITMENT: A STUDY ON DISABLED MICRO-BUSINESS OWNERS

Micro-enterprises have become one of the main drivers of economic growth, with business owners playing an important role in building the local economy. This presents both opportunities and challenges for people with disabilities who own micro-enterprises. One factor that is believed to have a major influence on entrepreneurial success is the entrepreneurial competence and personality of the business owner. Entrepreneurial competencies include the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to manage a business effectively. In addition, the personality of business owners is also thought to influence their commitment to their own business. A proactive, creative and risk-taking personality tends to be positively correlated with entrepreneurial commitment. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurial competence and personality on the entrepreneurial commitment of micro business owners with disabilities. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach using a questionnaire to obtain data with a sample of 133 respondents of micro business owners with disabilities in three cities in Central Java, Indonesia. This research uses primary data collected directly by the researcher. The data analysis technique uses PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 3.0. Based on hypothesis testing that has been carried out, it is found that entrepreneurial competence and personality have a positive effect on entrepreneurial commitment in micro business owners with disabilities located in three regions in Central Java.

Students’ interests and attitudes toward science, technology, engineering, and mathematics careers

<p>Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education teaches students critical thinking skills that they can use to solve problems even after they enter the workforce. This study aimed to i) determine student attitudes toward the STEM field in each school area; ii) determine student interest in the STEM field in each school area; and iii) determine the correlation between student attitudes toward the STEM field and school area and student interest in STEM. This was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional survey design. The sample for this study came from Boyolali Regency in Central Java, Indonesia, and was divided into three groups: rural schools (24%), suburban schools (36.2%), and urban schools (39%). The proportional stratified random sampling technique was used to select the research sample of students in grades 7–9. The Spearman Rank technique was used for data analysis. The results showed that there is a strong relationship between students’ attitudes toward STEM, school area, and interest in STEM careers. On the other hand, there is a weak correlation between students’ attitudes toward STEM, the school environment, and their interest in STEM careers.</p>

Carbon (TOC) Sojomerto Area and Vicinity Gemuh District, Kendal Regency Central Java Province

The research area is in Sojomerto area and vicinity, Gemuh District, Kendal Regency, Central Java Province, about ± 107 km to the north of Yogyakarta City. The purpose of the study was to determine the characteristics of the source rock by identifying the characteristics of the source rock based on the total organic carbon (TOC) value at the research site based on TOC and REP value data using descriptive methods. Based on the results of the analysis, Total Organic Carbon (TOC) in LP 1 samples has a value of 0.50%, which means poor; LP 2 samples have a value of 0.56% is still classified as poor, and LP 3 samples show a smaller value of 0.27%, wich is still classified as poor. The results of TOC versus PY plotting in the analysed sample were 3 samples, predominantly occupying gas-prone and far below the oil-prone limit. The hydrogen index value shows that three samples (LP 1, LP 2, and LP 3) produce gas, and there are no samples that produce oil or oil and gas. The thermal maturity of the Kerek Formation, based on the HI versus Maximum Temperature chart, shows the immature and near-mature categoriest.
