The magnetic and electric properties of the first Fe1−xCr2(1−x)Sn2xS4 (0.1 ≤ x ≤ 0.33) solid solution system with a spinel structure were studied. These compounds are p-type semiconductors. They have magnetic properties characteristic of the following types of magnetic order: ferrimagnetic (sample with x = 0.1), reentrant spin glass (x = 0.2) and spin glass (x = 0.33). The sample with x = 0.33 was demonstrated to have a spin glass-paramagnet phase transition. This is the first spin glass chalcospinel with magnetic ions in the octahedral and tetrahedral sublattices.
