The objective of this study was for determine and analyze the effect of the amount of raw material inventory and engine capacity simultaneously to volume production at PT Bintang Mas. The sample of this research is company data on the number of inventories of raw materials, machine capacity and production volume in 2018-2020 at PT Bintang Mas. The collection of data through observation. The data used in this research is secondary data in the form of a company's internal data PT Bintang Mas, Based on the results of multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing by using test of F can be seen that simultaneously the number of inventories of raw materials) and engine capacity significantly affects the volume of production. While based on the hypothesis test by using test t count that the partial amount of raw material inventory there is a significant effect on the volume of production and the capacity of the machine partially significant effect on the volume of production.

Penentuan Order Quantity Bahan Baku Pupuk Bersubsidi Jenis Npk Menggunakan Metode EOQ Di Pt. XYZ

Fertilizer has an important role in supporting the productivity of food crops. The Indonesian government provides subsidized fertilizers in an effort to support the fulfillment of national food needs. The number of subsidized fertilizer needs targeted by the government increases every year. Therefore, appropriate inventory planning is needed to realize the subsidized fertilizer production target that has been set by the government. The type of NPK fertilizer is one of the concerns because this type of subsidized fertilizer has a high demand rate, but its production figure is still far from the realization target. So that in this study the author aims to conduct a comparative analysis of inventory with the policies set by the company, namely Minimum-maximum with the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The EOQ method considers several costs, such as holding costs, raw material prices, and ordering costs. There are several outputs produced by the authors in this study, such as the frequency of orders, safety stock, reorder points, and total inventory costs. With this policy, the total cost of raw material inventory that must be spent for the manufacture of NPK fertilizer is Rp 4,257,606,170. And by using the EOQ method, it can save the company's total inventory cost of Rp. 121,368,688 or 2.77%.

Analysis of Supply Quantity Control of Argon Gas Raw Material At PT XY

The background in this research is that there is no method used to manage and control the quantity of raw material supplies at PT XY. This situation causes problems in ordering raw materials so that ordering costs and costs for storage will not be optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the EOQ method to the total cost of raw material inventory at PT. XY. Raw material inventory costs can be minimized by applying the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) method. This method can show the economic order quantity, optimal purchase frequency, time to reorder/ROP (Re-Order Point), and the amount of safety stock. Data collection was carried out using documentation techniques related to observation inventory documents and interviews with several informants, for data analysis using EOQ by calculating total inventory cost, ROP, reorder frequency and safety stock. The results of calculations and data analysis using the EOQ method show that the total cost of inventory is lower than the company's actual method.

This study aims to determine optimal raw material purchasing planning using the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) approach at the Somber Berkah Sukosari Dagangan Madiun Regency company and to provide input regarding planning and controlling raw material inventory so that it has the potential to increase profit efficiency in the company. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The descriptive analysis technique used to analyze data regarding the problem of planning and controlling raw materials to optimize company profits is to use the EOQ (Economic Order Quantity), TIC (Total Inventory Cost), Safety Stock, Reorder Point, MI (Maximum Inventory) methods. From the research results it is known that the purchase of raw materials using the EOQ method total raw material inventory is less than using the method used by the company today. Besides, the frequency of purchasing raw materials using the EOQ method is smaller than using the company's method. In addition, there are also safety stocks, reorder points and MI (Maximum Inventory) that have been calculated, so that they can anticipate excess or shortage of raw material supplies. Therefore the EOQ method is very important to be applied in companies in order to achieve more optimal company profits.

Optimalisasi Produksi Kuliner Berbahan Dasar Mangrove Dalam Meningkatkan Daya Saing Usaha di Kabupaten Muara Gembon

This research aims to; find out whether there is a significant positive effect between raw material inventory control on the production process, find out whether there is a significant positive effect between production process planning on the production process, find out whether there is a significant positive effect between raw material inventory control on business competitiveness, find out whether there is an influence significant positive relationship between production process planning and business competitiveness and to determine whether there is a significant positive effect between the production process and business competitiveness. The research method used in this study was a survey method using descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach involving 32 business actors in the Mangrove-Based culinary field in Muara Gembong Regency. The results of the study show that Raw Material Inventory Control has a significant effect on Business Competitiveness. In direct and indirect testing it is known that Raw Material Inventory Control has a direct and significant effect on the Competitiveness of Mangrove-Based Culinary Businesses in Muara Gembong Regency. While the Production Planning Process has a significant effect on Business Competitiveness. This means that the better the Production Planning Process will be able to improve the competitive positioning of Mangrove-Based culinary businesses in Muara Gembong Regency

This purpose of this study to determine the influence of raw material inventory and machine capacity on production volume (Case study on UMKM Raflesia Bordir Mukena at Tasikmalaya). The method used is a quantitative method with a research sample data on raw material inventory, machine capacity and production volume for the period 2019 – 2021. The data is used primary data and secondary data. The analitytical tool in this research is multiple regression using by SPSS version 25. The result showed that simultaneously raw material inventory and machine capacity has a significant influence on production volume. Partially raw material inventory has unsignificant on production volume. Machine capacity has significant on production volume.

The Influence Of Machinery Maintenance And Raw Material Supply On The Smoothness Of The Production Process (Survey at PT. Pacific Eastern Coconut Utma Pangandaran Factory)

This study aims to determine the effect of Machine Maintenance and Raw Material Inventory on the smoothness of the Production Process (Survey at PT. Pacific Eastern Coconut Utama Pangandaran Factory). The method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a quantitative approach. The samples used are machine maintenance cost data, raw material inventory costs, and production cost data for the last 3 years, namely in the 2019-2021 period at PT. Pacific Eastern Coconut Utama. The analytical tool used in this study was multiple linear regression using SPSS Version 25. The results showed that simultaneous machine maintenance and raw material inventory had a significant effect on the smooth running of the production process with an Fcount of 32.134 and a probability significance value of 0.000<0.05. Partially, machine maintenance has no significant effect on the smooth running of the production process because the significance value of 0.084 is greater than 0.05. Partially raw material inventory has a significant effect on the smooth running of the production process with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05.

This study aims to determine the effect of controlling raw material inventory and production processes on product quality in MSMEs Warung Ohay Tasikmalaya. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study was 40 employees of Warung Ohay MSMEs. The sampling technique in this study was saturated sampling of 40 employees. Data analysis in this study used multiple linear analysis with SPSS program version 25. The results of this study show that controlling raw material inventory and production processes simultaneously have a significant effect on the quality of Warung Ohay MSME products. Partial control of raw material inventory has a significant effect on the quality of Warung Ohay MSME products. The partial production process has a significant effect on the quality of Warung Ohay MSME products.

Inventory Forecasting for Medical Environmental Protection Equipment Enterprises Based on BP Neural Network Optimized by Sparrow Search Algorithm

Deficiencies in corporate inventory forecasting are common problems, an inventory forecasting model using a sparrow search algorithm to de-optimize a BP neural network has been developed. Through the actual production of HX medical environmental protection equipment enterprises, the inventory of raw materials is studied, and the five factors that have the greatest impact on the inventory are selected. To establish an inventory forecasting model using the sparrow search algorithm to optimize the weights and thresholds of the BP neural network, and at the same time to compare and analyze the optimized model with the model before optimization. After comparing the results, it can be seen that the BP neural network optimized by the sparrow search algorithm is more stable and the prediction accuracy is more accurate than before, when predicting the inventory of the enterprise due to the optimization of the weights and thresholds.

Analisis Persediaan Bahan Baku terhadap Kontinuitas Pada Industri Kertas Handmade

Raw materials are a very important part of the smooth running of a production, lack of raw materials can disrupt theproduction process, while excess raw materials can cause storage costs to increase and other costs. This study aims todetermine how to control raw material inventory on the continuity of productionin the handmade paper industry, inaddition to knowing the possibility of increasing the efficiency of raw material inventory using the Economic OrderQuantity (EQQ) model. This research is located in Balangan Regency. The type ofresearch used in this research is descriptive quantitative, which is an analysis of data by describing or describing the data that has been collected asit is withoutthe intention of making conclusions that apply to the public. The types of data used in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. There are two sources of data used in this study, namely primary data and secondary data. Methods of data collection are done by means of observation and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the efficiency of raw material inventory at the company can be increased by using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) model and the useof the company's Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) can increase savings or low costs compared to using the method applied by the company today so that it is good for company sustainability.

Application of the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method in Soybean Raw Material Inventory Control at the Haji Maman Tofu Factory in Matraman District, East Jakarta

This research is based on the lack of implementation of a method in controlling the inventory of soybean raw materials at Haji Maman’s Tofu Factory in the Matraman District of East Jakarta. Haji Maman’s Tofu Factory stil relies on daily records and sometimes uses estimates or assumption in its operational activities. In the procurement of raw materials, there is often an excess due to the lack of precise calculations regarding the ordering needs of raw materials, resulting in accumulation in the warehouse. In this study, the researcher utilized the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, which determines the optimal quantity of raw material orders for each purchase, the optimal purchase frequency, and establishes the Re-Order Point. The approach and type of research used is a quantitative research method with a descriptive research approach. The objective of this study is to examine the implementation of the EOQ method in controlling the inventory of soybean raw materials at Haji Maman’s Tofu Factory in the Matraman District of East Jakarta. Data Collection was conducted through observation and interviews with Mr. Haji Maman, the owner. The data analysis technique employed was the EOQ method, taking into account purchase frequency, Re-Order Point, and Total Inventory Cost (TIC). The results of this study indicate that the optimal average frequency of raw material orders is 17 times per year. The total inventory cont using Haji Maman’s Tofu Factory policy amounts to Rp. 9,709,261, while using the EOQ method it amounts to Rp. 7,492,129, resulting in savings of Rp. 2,217,132 for Haji Maman’s Tofu Factory. The Re-Order Point is determined to be 216 kilograms.

Analysis of Fabric Raw Material Inventory Control in Backpack Products Using the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) Method at CV. Metassa Collection

The results of the research on the smallest forecasting calculation using the Linear Regression method with MAD values ​​of 274.52, MSE 114.536, and MADE Based on MRP calculations with the Lot Sizing EOQ method produce a total cost of Rp. 2,811,032,000. Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Sepatu Kulit dengan Menggunakan Metode Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

Raw material inventory control is a company policy that dappat control the inventory of raw materials with a balanced. Because raw material inventory is one of the factors in the production process, a shortage of raw materials will result in production delays, and conversely an excess of raw materials will result in increased storage costs and other costs. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the control of raw material inventories applied by MSMEs Chaniago Jaya. The type of research used is quantitative. Data sources in this study were obtained directly from the company. And the method used is MRP, the results showed that the application of the MRP method on the company lower cost when compared with the method that has been applied by the company, where the MRP method obtained a value of Rp 7,360,696 while the company Method obtained a value of Rp 11,427,675 with a difference of Rp 4,066,979.

Minimizing Fresh Fruit Bunches Inventory Costs Using Continuous Review System and Blanked Order System Methods

PT X is a company engaged in palm oil processing. The company's inventory of FFB raw materials is erratic, depending on the production needs. In processing palm oil raw materials, companies in the logistics or inventory department cannot be separated from the problem of FFB raw material inventory, which is part of the primary needs for company production. This company faces issues, namely the fluctuation in demand and lead time for placing orders, which can cause stockouts and shortages in FFB raw material inventories, which disrupts production process activities. The purpose of the research conducted was to conduct an analysis of raw material inventory control using the continuous review system and blanked order system methods to avoid the occurrence of raw material shortages in the raw material inventory to be used and to minimize the total inventory costs that must be incurred at the company and determine the best inventory method. The results obtained from this study were getting a safety stock of 1,638 tons and a known reorder point of 5,093 tons for the schedule of reordering FFB raw materials using the continuous review system method. Based on the results of calculating inventory costs using the constant review system method, it is the most optimal method with a minimal total inventory cost compared to the blanked order system method and the previous company policy, with savings generated by 0.10%.

Analisis Pengendalian Persediaan Bahan Baku Tepung Terigu Dengan Metode Economic Order Quantity Pada Pabrik Roti Sdap Jaya di Kota Manado

This study aims to determine the procurement of wheat flour raw material inventory at the Sdap Jaya Bread Factory is optimal or not optimal. This research was conducted for 4 months, from April to July 2023. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through leadership interviews, to the head of production and the head of administration, while secondary data is obtained from data that has been arranged in the form of written documents from the company, literature and the internet. Data is processed using the EOQ method. The results showed that the procurement of wheat flour raw material inventory at the Sdap Jaya Bread Factory was not optimal because the inventory was greater than the EOQ method. The inventory of raw materials at the Sedap Jaya Bread Factory is 2500 kg to 3000 kg of raw materials, while to avoid excess inventory of raw materials the order that must be made according to the EOQ method is 1,738 kg with 6 orders.

Penerapan Metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Pada UD MBO Bakery di Kabupaten Jember

This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with the aim of analyzing the optimal amount of wheat flour raw material inventory, safety stock, reoder point, total cost and comparing the company's conventional method of wheat flour raw material inventory control system with the EOQ method. The analytical tools used are the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, order frequency, ROP (reorder point), SS (safety stock), TIC (Total Inventory Cost), and POM-QM software. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that in 2022 the purchase of UD MBO Bakery raw materials was 139,575 kg with an order quantity of 2,908 kg or 116 bags/order and an order frequency of 50 times/year with an average of 4 times/month and a total inventory cost of IDR 3,919,700.00. Calculations using the EOQ method obtained the optimal amount of raw material purchases in 2022 of 8,063 kg or 322 bags per order with a frequency of purchases of 17 times/year or orders every 18 days and the total cost of inventory using the EOQ method is IDR 2,419,040.81. This shows that calculations using the EOQ method can save total inventory costs of IDR 1,500,659.19.

Sistem Informasi Persediaan Bahan Baku pada Barbekoe Coffee Menggunakan Metode Buffer Stock dan FEFO

Inventory information system is an important aspect of running a business, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Barbekoe Coffee is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) in the city of Medan engaged in coffee shops (Coffeeshop). In carrying out its operations, Barbekoe Coffee still uses manual recording on a piece of paper on raw material inventory ranging from incoming raw materials, outgoing raw materials, raw material inventory, to ordering raw materials. This often causes problems ranging from damaged or lost records, repeated ordering of raw materials on the same raw materials and employees who often remove raw materials from the warehouse not in the order in which the raw materials enter. So often found raw materials in damaged and expired warehouses. The purpose of this study is to create and implement an appropriate and accurate inventory information system in order to minimize losses and optimize profits in the Barbekoe Coffee business. The methods used are Buffer Stock, First Expired First Out (FEFO), and Reorder Point. After testing, the system runs as expected. Barbekoe Coffee can implement precise and accurate inventory flows to increase profits and avoid losses due to damaged or expired raw materials.

Application of Raw Material Inventories Using the ABC Class Classification Method and the EOQ Method in Raw Material Inventories Based on POM QM For Windows

The quality of a product depends on how the manufacturer applies the supply of raw materials used. The application of a good supply of raw materials can expedite the production process. There are many factors that affect the smooth production process. One of the factors that can affect the smoothness of the production process is the supply of raw materials. Raw materials in the production process include raw materials, semi-finished materials and finished goods. In running its business, Kedai Surabi Gapura experiences difficulties in terms of implementing raw material supplies considering the large number of orders that the shop receives every month so that Kedai Surabi Gapura cannot determine the number of priority raw material needs that must be purchased according to production needs. Surabi Gapura requires an appropriate method of supplying raw materials for production. By applying the raw material inventory classification method, it is hoped that Kedai Surabi can find out the priority classification of raw materials used based on raw material prices, in this case related to capital. Shop owners need to implement raw material inventory planning and control because to find out what the difference is between the costs incurred for purchasing raw materials and the amount of raw material requirements according to the daily production target. In addition to the raw material inventory classification method needed in an effort to expedite the production process, the shop also needs to apply the right raw material ordering method in order to save costs incurred such as transportation costs for sending raw materials, raw material storage costs, ordering costs, raw material maintenance costs arising from inventory. By applying the EOQ method for reordering raw materials, it is hoped that the Surabi Gapura Shop will place orders in economical quantities to determine the point of reordering raw materials so that the costs incurred by the Surabi Gapura Shop are efficient.The research method used in this study is to use a quantitative descriptive method. In this study the method used aims to determine the appropriate method of inventory of production raw materials with the raw material inventory classification method and the correct raw material ordering method in order to save costs incurred such as transportation costs for sending raw materials, raw material storage costs, ordering costs, maintenance costs for raw materials arising from inventory. By applying the EOQ method for reordering raw materials.From the results of calculations using the POM QM For Windows software based on the results of data processing using the ABC class classification analysis method for raw materials from 15 types of raw materials, they can be classified based on their respective classes according to the amount and investment value or rupiah spent to obtain these raw materials. Then by using the calculation of the EOQ method with the POM QM For Windows software, business owners can find out the optimal number of orders in the production process, namely the optimal number of orders is at 8,869.52 units, that is, if the demand in one day is 250 units.

Integration of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) Method and Min-Max Stock Method in Controlling Raw Material Inventory in The Furniture Industry

Indonesia is a country with a very rapidly developing economy in the manufacturing sector that produces furniture products. The existence of fierce competition between companies and the limited supply of raw materials makes the need for raw materials in the production process uncontrollable so that the desired goals of the company cannot be achieved. One of the factors that greatly influences is regarding the problem of raw material inventory levels. The issue of raw materials is very important for an enterprise because it has a great influence on the profit obtained.Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Min-Max Stock methods are carried out to control raw material inventories resulting in savings with optimal purchases by not experiencing inventory shortages.This research is expected so that waste and inventory that are too small can be known at intervals of time to be more effective and efficient in the production process.From the results of analysis and data processing, it can be seen that the number of orders for sonokeling wood raw materials needs is 17.670 m3 and amara wood raw materials are 4.325 m3 with an order frequency of 1 time and an ordering cycle distance of 33 days. So the delay in raw material inventory is influenced by several factors, namely the purchase price of wood raw materials, estimates in using raw materials, purchasing policies from companies and government policies related to regulations with the Multistakeholder Timber Verification and Legality System (SLVK) for inventory control are still lacking.
