ANALISIS PENGENDALIAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU DI UKM BATIK SEKAR JATI STAR DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ABC ANALYSIS DAN ECONOMIC ORDER QUANTITY (EOQ)

SMEs of Batik "Sekar Jati Star" is one of the manufacturing industries engaged in batik making located in Jatipelem Village, Jombang and established since 1999. One of the typical motifs in ukm is jombangan motif that depicts the icon of Jombang city. The problem is management of raw material supplies is not optimal, where so far there is no evaluation and no inventory model method is used. So that the article aims to control the inventory of batik raw materials which include fabric, dye and wax. This inventory control includes the classification of each raw material for making batik using the ABC Analysis method. Next, determine the amount of economical raw material inventory using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The results showed that the classification of raw materials using the ABC analysis method shows that the raw materials included in category A are fabric raw materials, category B is dye raw materials, and category C is wax raw materials. Implementation of the results of the classification of raw materials, so that the main priority of control is carried out according to the order of categories. The results of the EOQ inventory model show the monitoring of inventory control of raw materials for fabrics, dyes, wax for a year. Monitoring includes the time and quantity of economic Q, RoP, frequency of purchases, average inventory per week. Furthermore, from the comparison of inventory costs, the results of the EOQ model provide more economical results compared to the raw material inventory management that has been carried out so far for fabrics, dyes and waxes.

Analysis of the application of the raw material inventory management system at PT. Inkomas Lestari to suppress the inventory cost by using the economic order quantity (EOQ) method

This Research was conducted with the aim of reducing inventory costs by calculating the safety stock needed by companies using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Based on the calculation results, it is known that PT. Inkomas Lestari with the EOQ method obtained a total inventory costs of Rp.1.888.637.963 which is lower than the company using conventional methods which have to pay a fee of Rp. 2.112.320.822, then the difference in total inventory cost is Rp. 223.682.857. This means that the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method can be considered more efficient compared to the conventional method currently being applied by the company

PENGARUH PENGELOLAAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU TERHADAP EFISIENSI BIAYA PERSEDIAAN DI PT HARMONI MAKMUR SEJAHTERA

The purpose of this study is to determine how much the influence of raw material inventory management to the inventory cost efficiency at PT Harmoni Makmur Sejahtera. This study uses quantity research methods by giving questionnaires to 30 respondents, the calculation and data analysis conducted by using SPSS version 25. From the data proccessing, it was found a correlation value of 0.671, thus it can be concluded that there is a strong correlation between the variables of raw material stock management (X) on the efficiency of inventory costs (Y). Result of R square (R2) value of 0.451 or in the amount of 45.1%, therefore it can be said that the raw material inventory control variable has an effect of 45.1% on inventory cost management. The test results show that the t count is 4.793. The t table value, which is the standard, obtained the t table value at a significance level of 0.05, which is 2.480. The analysis results show the value of t count> t table (4.793> 2.480). This means that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, or there is a positive and significant influence between Raw Material Inventory Management on Inventory Efficiency.

THE ANALYSIS OF RAW MATERIAL INVENTORY OF DOHO SUWAR-SUWIR BUSINESS IN JEMBER REGENCY

Doho Suwar-Suwir is a Micro Small Medium Enterprises (UMKM) processing Fermented Cassava (Tape Singkong) to become a processed food in Jember, which is Suwar-Suwir. To maintain the stability of production process, needs a control for the stock management towards the raw material at Doho Suwar-Suwir UMKM. The raw material inventory management at Doho Suwar-Suwir UMKM is about fermented cassava raw material inventory which then are processed to become the typical food of Jember Regency, which is Suwar-Suwir. The goal of this research were to analyze the fermented cassava raw material inventory quantity and to analyze the safety stock quantity at Doho Suwar-Suwir UMKM. The method used in this research was stock management calculation or Economical Order Quantity (EOQ) where the result of this research was the quantity of fermented cassava raw material needed using Economical Order Quantity (EOQ) method at Doho Suwar-Suwir business was 60,6 kg and the number of the safety stock which must exist was 5,5 kg.

Study of optimal order policy for a multi-period multi-raw material inventory management problem under carbon emission constraint

In recent years, the carbon emission problem involved in various industries has attracted more and more attention from scholars, among which many scholars have incorporated the carbon emission problem into the inventory control process of the manufacturing industry. Motivated by this fact, assuming carbon cost is only incurred during the transportation, we develop a multi-period, multi-item periodic-review dynamic programming model to address the raw-material inventory management problem in a foundry enterprise. This model enables us to further compare two production strategies (strategy α and strategy β). The former represents the strategy to scale down the original consumption rate of raw materials in an equal proportion on the premise of maximizing meeting the carbon emission limit, and the latter represents the strategy to keep the original raw material consumption rate constant in early stage, but are taken to stop production when the carbon emissions are saturated. Due to the complexity of the proposed problem, we propose a mathematic algorithm based on Probabilistic Dynamic Programming (PDP) to derive the structural properties of the model. Groups of comparison of the expected total cost under different strategies lead to the observation that production strategy α generally performs better than production strategy β. Intriguingly, the sum of the initial inventory level and the optimal order quantity is approximately constant in one period. This phenomenon lasts for different periods under the same production strategy.

MANAJEMEN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU BERBASIS PADA PT. TUFFINDO NITTOKU AUTONEUM KARAWANG

In the current era of globalization, information technology is advancing rapidly. The computer which is equipment that was created to facilitate human work, when achieving progress both in making hardware and software. PT. Tuffindo Nittoku Autoneum is in need of an information system that supports and provides fast and precise access to its business activities. For this reason the author tries to make a Raw Material Inventory System which until now has not been computerized. At this time PT. Tuffindo Nittoku Autoneum has been well developed for the information system used, only for some parts such as the warehouse, the existing system at PT. Tuffindo Nittoku Autoneum is still done manually, starting from recording the receipt of goods from suppliers, to storing other data relating to the inventory process to making reports, making it possible during the process of error occurred in recording, inaccurate reports made and delays in finding the necessary data. The design of this information system is the best solution to solve the problems that exist in this company, as well as with a computerized system can achieve an effective and efficient activity in supporting the activities of this company. A computerized system is better than a manual system to run more effectively and efficiently and the new raw material warehousing system is more conducive than the previous system. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: RAW MATERIALS FOR SMALL ENTERPRISE

This community service is an activity related to community economic empowerment through understanding the supplies of raw materials. Problems that arise on the supply of raw materials requires capital and affect submission to the customer. In order to support the efforts of the economic empowerment of the community outreach and training about the usefulness of the inventory of raw materials through the citizens who live in the village of partners will help citizens find out how partners do materials inventory management to improve the welfare of society. For that these activities would provide mentoring and training skills inventory management of raw materials, in order to be later able to apply them in the activities of partners to manage its business. External expected can be realized from this activity are: (1) the development of raw material inventory management knowledge on the citizens of the Small Enterprise. (2) the formation of social groups care inventory management on Small Enterprise.

Raw material inventory control system for small companies

For companies, the problem of managing raw material supplies is very important. This requires adequate management techniques. This means that all company operations are carried out in accordance with established plans and procedures and always lead to the goals to be achieved by Integration. Implementation of raw material management requires intensive inspection, so companies need to carry out internal audits. Internal audit inspection must be carried out objectively and independently in carrying out its duties. Problems that arise in this study (1) How is the application of internal audit raw material inventory management at UD company. Makmur Semanding? (2) Whether internal audit raw material inventory management can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of UD company operations. Makmur Semanding? The purpose of this study is (1) to describe how the implementation of internal audit management of raw materials at UD company. Prosperous Semanding. (2) To illustrate whether the internal audit of raw material inventory management can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of UD company operations. Prosperous Semanding. For the purposes of analysis and discussion, the authors use analysis techniques as flow chart analysis tools are used to determine the supply of raw materials to company management. Based on the provisions of Article 3 is the determination of the category value, then by calculating the score of raw material inventory management UD company sales revenue. Makmur Semanding is included in the sufficient category, because the total score is 91, this score is in the range of scores between 62-92.

Achieving cost efficiency through increased inventory leanness: Evidences from oriented strand board (OSB) industry

Impact of inventory leanness on financial performance has been well-documented by scientific community for various industries. However, its application in value-added wood products industry is relatively scarce when compared to other industry segments. The objective of the study was to investigate impact of increased inventory leanness on financial performance of a value-added wood products manufacturer. Outcomes of the study was also expected to contribute to the intersection zone of three research streams, namely Lean Inventory Management, Procurement Lot-Sizing and Demand Forecasting. To achieve stated objectives, research question and hypotheses were constructed around an un-capacitated single item raw material lot-sizing problem in the context of an SME. A six-step systematic optimization approach (SOA) was developed and followed to improve cost efficiency throughout the study. Time series and Regression based demand forecasting coupled with Dynamic and Statistical lot-sizing models to derive the optimal solution to the problem. At the end of exhaustive simulations, an optimized procurement strategy that could achieve 32.87%–60.90% raw material inventory management cost savings depending on desired buffer level was proposed. Consequently, increased inventory leanness led to less costly procurement activities within target supply chain, which indicated enhanced overall financial performance of the firm through proper risk management and mitigation.

TINJAUAN ATAS PENGELOLAAN PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU PADA DIVISI KENDARAAN KHUSUS PT. PINDAD (PERSERO) KOTA BANDUNG

Raw Material Inventory management is a very important aspect for a company of commerce, industry, and manufacturing because it has considerable value and have an influence on the size of the operating costs. On the inventory management of raw materials that are running there are several issues that caused the lack of human resources issues, among others: if shortage of raw materials, the customer will be disappointed and if the excess raw materials then there are some burdens that must be on the responsibility of companies, among others, the cost of damage goods for too long in the store, inventory shrinkage cost of raw materials, etc. By doing this research, it is expected all of these problems can be overcome, so that helped PT. Pindad (Persero) Bandung in increasing the effectiveness of the work.To conduct this research, the writer uses descriptive method, is descriptive research method, which is a way of research to depict or describe clearly the object under study. Compaction collection techniques used were interviews, observarsi and library research.By doing research at PT. PINDAD can help the problems that arise and inventory management of raw materials to be faster without consuming a greater cost.Keywords: Raw Material Inventory Management

Comparison of Inventory Models for Optimal Working Capital; Case of Aeronautics Company

The goal of supply chain management is to provide products with best quality, low costs and shortest delay of delivery corresponding to customers’ expectations. To ensure that, companies must be in continuous research for management methodologies which allows them the possibility to improve their financial results by decreasing costs and improving their process and thus customers satisfaction. Before searching for a metaheuristic function of the optimal solutions, this paper is presenting a basic research, conducted in aeronautic company to find out the better solution for raw material inventory management. These raw materials are obtained from the supply of imports and some local purchases. The aims of study are to present a comparison of inventory deterministic models, the economic order quantity, the Interval order quantity and the minimum maximum inventory. The first step is to collect data’s containing 3896-part number with various suppliers, lead time, costs, consumption, holding cost and set up cost, the second step is calculating the order quantity with deterministic models and analyzing the results to choose the better solution. The third step is doing the ABC classification and comparing the amount of average stock between the three methods. The results show that the optimal deterministic solution is a combination of two of them.

Peran Economic Order Quantity dalam Manajemen Persediaan Bahan Baku (Studi pada UD. Nurisma tahun 2016)

This research aims to determine the role of the inventory management method, Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) in decision making for the amount of economic ordering and cost efficiency of raw material inventory. EOQ method is very effective applied to companies that have a high quantity of annual inventory. UD. NURISMA is a manufacturing company producing “krupuk uyel mentah” with annual demand of raw material is high enough, which is 3,423 sacks in 2016. This research was conducted at UD NURISMA for inventory cost efficiency and the determination of order quantity economical raw material inventory of “krupuk uyel mentah”. This research is a quantitative descriptive research and using raw material inventory data at UD. NURISMA which includes data on the quantity of raw material requirements, data of ordering cost and raw material storage data during 2016. This study compares raw material inventory management based on UD. NURISMA policy with EOQ inventory management.The result of this research is EOQ inventory management method is able to give efficiency of inventory cost equal to Rp 3,082,502, -. The cost efficiency is obtained from the difference between inventory cost based on UD NURISMA policy (Rp. 9.338.178,-), toward inventory cost with EOQ (Rp. 6.255.676,-). Researchers suggest UD. NURISMA to use the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. Implementation of EOQ method provides benefits for the company to know how much raw materials to be ordered and when to make a re-order.

Adaptive Inventory Control Simulation Model

The development of a simulation model of the production system for inventory control is described. Business simulator is used as a part of adaptive decision-making methodology for raw material inventory management, which is dependent on delivery times and market demand. Reports are generated as a result of simulation runs in the supporting application, which incorporate the simulation model and production database and include raw material, product and recipe data. Economic ordering quantity is determined according to the state of the inventory and safety stock value.
