Analysis of Mathematics Education Students' ICT Behavior at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon Post-Pandemic

This study analyzes student behavior in using ICT when using LMS at IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This study used quantitative methods with a survey research design. The type of survey used is a cross-sectional survey design. Samples were taken from Mathematics Education students in semesters I, III, V and VII, as many as 258 from 627 active students in 2021/2022 using the stratified random sampling method. The instrument was developed following the aspects and indicators in the TAM model, containing (1) perceived ease of use, (2) perceived usefulness, (3) attitude towards using, (4) behavioral intention to use, and (5) actual usage. The instrument will be tested for validity using CVR and reliability using the Guttman Split-Half Coefficient correlation. Data on student behavior using ICT were analyzed using Widoyoko categorization. The study results showed that the instrument was confirmed to be valid and reliable, with students' behavior in using ICT categorized as "good." The findings suggest that students are generally well-prepared to engage with ICT tools for online learning, reflecting their adaptability and positive attitudes toward technology adoption. However, to maximize the potential benefits of ICT in education, the study highlights the need for institutions to implement targeted strategies. These include providing more comprehensive ICT training programs, upgrading and maintaining digital infrastructure, and creating policies encouraging consistent and meaningful use of ICT in learning activities.

Effect of Stress Management Training Based on Multimedia Software on the Stress Response of Nurses in Children's Wards of Iran University of Medical Sciences

Background and Objectives: The use of modern and technology-based educational methods can play a significant role in enhancing nurses' capabilities in stress management and improving their responses to stressful situations. Therefore, this study aims to determine the impact of stress management on the stress responses of nurses working in pediatric departments of educational hospitals affiliated Iran University of Medical Sciences through a multimedia software intervention. Methods: In this quasi-experimental study, a random sampling method was employed to select 102 nurses (51 individuals in the intervention group and 51 in the control group) working in general hospital departments. The inclusion criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of stress management training on the stress responses of nurses included having at least a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of 6 months of work experience in pediatric wards, no reported psychological disorders, and no use of psychiatric medications based on self-reports. Additionally, participants were required to have access to a computer capable of running DVDs and familiarity with its operation, with no prior experience or readiness to participate in a stress management workshop within the last 6 months. Conversely, the exclusion criteria were participant dissatisfaction, change of department, and hospital relocation. This assessment is shared in improving the skills and response to the stress of nurses in pediatric department of medical centers. To measure the stress responses, the Inventory Response Stress questionnaire was utilized, which was completed by both groups prior to the intervention. Subsequently, the educational content regarding stress management was provided to the intervention group for duration of 8 weeks. At the end of the eighth week, both groups completed the stress response questionnaire again. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 22 software, with statistical tests including Fisher's exact test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis H test, and Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Results: No significant difference was observed in the mean of stress response in the intervention (29.69 ± 23.66) and control (33.20 ± 27.95) groups before the intervention (p = 0.661). The average stress response score in the intervention group (19.65 ± 16.74) was significantly lower than the control group (32.67 ± 28.17) after the intervention (p < 0.001). Conclusion: These data demonstrated the positive effect of the stress management program on nurses' stress response who participated in this study.

The Effect of Online Registration System on Outpatient Satisfaction

This study aims to analyze the effect of online registration system on outpatient satisfaction . The background of this study focuses on the need for improving fast, efficient, and technology-based health services to meet patient expectations. The online registration system is expected to reduce queues, speed up the administrative process, and improve patient comfort. This study uses a quantitative method with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique was carried out using the simple random sampling method , with the criteria of patients using the online registration system in December 2024, namely 115 patients. Data were collected through a questionnaire that measured aspects of patient satisfaction, such as ease of access, speed of service, data accuracy and system convenience. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test to identify the effect between the online registration system and patient satisfaction levels. The results of the study showed a positive and significant effect between the online registration system and patient satisfaction. This system simplifies the registration process and increases positive perceptions of the quality of hospital services. Therefore, it is recommended to improve the quality of information technology and training for officers to ensure the sustainability of excellent services and further development of system features is needed to improve accessibility and reliability of services.

Moral distress, attitude toward death, and palliative care core competencies among ICU nurses: a cross-sectional study

BackgroundPalliative care is becoming more widely acknowledged as a crucial part of intensive care for all patients with life-threatening illnesses. Intensive care unit (ICU) nurses regard as a lead role to facilitate this integration, which require nurses to possess professional and comprehensive core competencies. However, there is little knowledge about the palliative care core competencies among ICU nurses.AimsTo explore the association of moral distress, attitude toward death, and palliative care core competencies of ICU nurses, and explore the mediating role of attitude toward death.MethodsThis is a quantitative, cross-sectional study. Random cluster sampling method was used. 342 ICU nurses were selected from 5 hospitals across 4 provinces in China. Participants were evaluated using the Moral Distress Scale-revised (MDS-R), the Attitude toward Death Profile-Revised (DAP-R), and the Palliative Care Nurses’ Core Competencies Scale (PCNCC). This study followed the STROBE statement.ResultsThe level of palliative care core competencies among ICU nurses is moderate. Moral distress and negative attitude toward death are negatively associated while positive attitude toward death is positively associated with core competencies in palliative care among ICU nurses. Attitude toward death partially mediates the relationship between moral distress and core competencies.ConclusionLink between moral distress, attitude toward death, and palliative care core competencies among ICU nurses was found in this study.

Behavioral factors driving stock market investment decisions among individuals in Nepal

Investor behavioral factors determine the investment decisions of individual investors in the stock market. The study investigated behavioral factors driving investment decisions in Nepal’s stock market, contributing to existing literature. The behavioral factors comprise heuristics, prospects, and herding as predictors and investment decisions as a response variable. Thus, the study adopted a descriptive and analytical research design to test the research hypotheses and resolve the research questions and issues. A survey was conducted among individual investors registered with Nepal’s trading management system (TMS). A total of 526 structured questionnaires were distributed to targeted respondents, and only 350 useful questionnaires (66.54 percent) were received. The survey data of cross-sectional type were encompassed with a random clustering sampling method for this study. Further, the study employed descriptive statistics to depict the characteristics of respondents’ profiles, correlation analysis to assess the association between predictors and response variables, and linear regression analysis to investigate the impact of predictors on response variables. Similarly, Cronbach’s alpha was tested to observe reliability in the study. The survey findings showed a positive and significant association between heuristics and investment decisions (β = 0.088, p < 0.05). The prospect is positively linked with the individual’s investment decision but found insignificant (β = 0.011, p > 0.05). Finally, herding found a positive and significant association with investment decisions (β = 0.235, p < 0.05). The findings of this study contribute to existing theory and can be a benchmark for decision-makers and policymakers, investors, and others.

Empowering nurse leaders: readiness for AI integration and the perceived benefits of predictive analytics

IntroductionArtificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly being integrated into healthcare, particularly through predictive analytics that can enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Nursing leaders play a crucial role in the successful adoption of these technologies.AimThis study aims to assess the readiness of nursing leaders for AI integration and evaluate their perceptions of the benefits of AI-driven predictive analytics in healthcare.MethodsA descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted among 187 nurse leaders across nine private hospitals in Cairo. The sample was selected using a combination of simple random sampling and non-probability convenience sampling methods to ensure a diverse representation of nursing leadership. Data collection took place from March to May 2024, utilizing a structured questionnaire specifically designed to assess nurse leaders’ readiness for AI integration and their perceptions of AI-driven predictive analytics The data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics, version 26.0. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) was employed to identify underlying factors related to readiness and perceived benefits. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was subsequently performed to validate the factor structure. Multiple linear regression analysis was conducted to identify significant predictors of AI readiness and perceived benefits.ResultsThe study revealed that over one-third of nurse leaders exhibited high readiness for AI integration. Significant predictors of readiness included age, educational attainment, and employment status. Positive correlations were found between readiness and perceived benefits of AI, particularly in areas such as care planning and decision-making.ConclusionThe findings suggest that nursing leaders are generally prepared to integrate AI into their workflows, especially those with advanced education and experience. However, further training and policy development are necessary to fully realize the benefits of AI in nursing practice.

The moderating role of environmental ethics in the effect of green innovation awareness on corporate social responsibility

Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine how green innovation awareness is integrated into corporate social responsibility (CSR) practices and what regulatory role environmental ethics plays in this process. This study evaluates how green innovation shapes the environmental, social and economic responsibilities of businesses and its impact on achieving sustainable development goals. Design/methodology/approach The population of this study consists of four field operation centers of a nuclear power plant operating in the Mediterranean Region of Turkey. The sample consists of 397 employees in the field operation center using simple random sampling method. Findings The findings of this study revealed positive and significant relationships between the variables. According to the results obtained from both models, green innovation awareness and environmental ethics variables have a positive and significant effect on CSR, but environmental ethics does not have a moderating role in the effect of green innovation awareness on CSR. Originality/value This study is important in that it will help to clarify the gray areas in the literature by developing recommendations for practitioners, researchers and professionals in line with the research results. In addition, the fact that the research was conducted in the field studies of a nuclear power plant, which is one of the best places to address the issues of green innovation, CSR and environmental ethics, increases its importance.

Prevalence and determinants of restrictive lung disorder among quarry workers at the Umuoghara quarry site, Ebonyi State, Nigeria: a cross-sectional study

IntroductionRespiratory disorders pose a serious health risk for quarry workers exposed to dust, as they are a leading source of morbidity and mortality globally, often resulting in irreversible lung conditions. This study assessed the prevalence and determinants of restrictive disorder among quarry workers in Umuoghara quarry site, Ebonyi State.MethodsThis study was done on quarry workers at the Umuoghara quarry site, Ebonyi State. An analytical cross-sectional study design was adopted. Data was collected using a pre-tested semi-structured questionnaire among 300 quarry workers selected by simple random sampling method. Lung function test was performed using a spirometer- spirovit SPI schiller and data was analyzed with the use of IBM SPSS version 23.0. Pearson’s chi-square test was used to find associations between variables. Binary logistic regression (multivariate analysis) was used to find the determinants of restrictive lung disorder at p < 0.05.ResultsThe prevalence of restrictive disorder was 14.3%. Working for more than 5 years (AOR = 2.880 at 95% CI = 1.234–6.720), Working for more than 10 years (AOR = 9.645 at 95% CI = 2.601–35.766), smoking (AOR = 3.558 at 95% CI = 1.631–7.762) and non-use of protective measures (AOR = 0.114; 95% CI = 0.050–0.262) were the determinants of restrictive lung disorder in quarry workers.ConclusionThere is an increased risk of developing respiratory problems among quarry workers exposed to quarry dust. It is recommended that employees receive thorough education on the dangers of this exposure, and that employers be mandated to provide protective equipment and strictly enforce its use among workers.

The adoption of biosecurity measures and its influencing factors in Bangladeshi layer farms

Developing nations like Bangladesh are particularly vulnerable to poultry diseases, notably Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. Adopting biosecurity approaches that assist farms in disease control and prevention can decrease the industry-wide dissemination of infectious diseases. In light of these factors, this study was carried out to investigate the implementation of biosecurity practices on layer farms in Bangladesh. Using a stratified random sample method, a total of 315 layer farms from fourteen upazilas (sub-districts) in seven districts were surveyed using a semi-structured interview schedule. The study explored layer farmers' experiences with biosecurity procedures adopted on farms that included equipment, employees, and visitors. The study found that the overall biosecurity score was 72.5 out of 100. It was concluded that internal biosecurity was better than external biosecurity. The study also revealed that layer farms have a larger proportion of partial adopters based on the adoption index. The application of the Tobit model identifies that education, farming experience, attitude towards risk, price of layer sheds, return from layer production, and access to biosecurity knowledge had a substantial influence on adopting biosecurity measures. The findings might be helpful for farmers and policymakers to ensure the required modifications to improve compliance with biosecurity protocols and could assist relevant authorities in implementing particular biosecurity initiatives.

A sense of belonging and cultism in public universities in Kenya: An analysis of Christian Union students’ perceptions

The purpose of the study was to determine Christian Union students’ perceptions of a sense of belonging as a factor influencing cultism in public universities in Kenya. Numerous research indicates that cultism is prevalent and increasing among university students, resulting in several social ills. The study employed a mixed-method research design and was guided by Bounded Choice Theory. The study was carried out in six public universities in Kenya. The total population for the study was 55,600 CU students, and the accessible population was 10,900, out of which a sample of 220 CU students was selected through simple random and stratified sampling methods. The study also included 60 small group Bible study leaders and 6 CU Patrons, one from each selected university through purposive sampling. The study established that a Sense of Belonging (β=0.222; p&lt;0.05) significantly influences cultism. The study concludes that CU students perceived that students were recruited into cults due to the urge to fit into a social group with a promise of social identity and acceptance, especially for fragile learners who are emotionally vulnerable and likely to succumb to recruitment into cultism. The study recommends training of freshers during orientation on critical thinking and discernment to prevent cult recruitment. This study further recommends that universities and CU develop policy frameworks to mitigate cultism. The CU should create an inclusive socio-psychological environment and programs that attract and retain members by addressing members’ needs during vulnerable moments of loneliness, transition, grief, pain and loss.

Principals’ distributed leadership and the effectiveness of school innovation management: the mediating role of school organisational culture

PurposeThis study explored the relationships between principals’ distributed leadership, school organisational culture and the effectiveness of school innovation management. A questionnaire was administered to gather data from public junior high school teachers in Taiwan.Design/methodology/approachUsing the stratified random sampling method, 1,557 questionnaires were sent to 98 schools in Taiwan, and 1,018 valid questionnaires were obtained. All data were analysed using descriptive statistics and structural equation modelling.FindingsSchool organisational culture significantly mediated the relationship between principals’ distributed leadership and the effectiveness of school innovation management. This mediating role was confirmed through multiple mediation analyses, highlighting the essential link between leadership practices and school innovation outcomes.Originality/valueThis study provides new insights into how distributed leadership by school principals can enhance the effectiveness of school innovation management by cultivating a solid organisational culture. The results underscore the importance of distributed leadership in fostering an environment conducive to school innovation.

Supervised and Unsupervised Screen Time and Its Association With Physical, Mental, and Social Health of School-Going Children in Dhaka, Bangladesh: Cross-Sectional Study.

Children's screen time has substantially increased worldwide, including in Bangladesh, especially since the pandemic, which is raising concern about its potential adverse effects on their physical, mental, and social health. Parental supervision may play a crucial role in mitigating these negative impacts. However, there is a lack of empirical evidence assessing the relationship between parental screen time supervision and health outcomes among school children in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We aimed to explore the association between supervised and unsupervised screen time on the physical, mental, and social health of school-going children in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We conducted a cross-sectional descriptive study between July 2022 and June 2024. A total of 420 children, aged 6-14 years, were enrolled via the stratified random sampling method across three English medium and three Bangla medium schools in Dhaka. Data were collected through a semistructured questionnaire; anthropometry measurements; and the Bangla-validated Strength and Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ), Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) Scale, and Spencer Children Anxiety Scale (SCAS). A total of 234 out of 420 students (56%) used digital screen devices without parental supervision. We did not find a substantial difference in the duration of the daily mean use of digital devices among the supervised students (4.5 hours, SD 2.2 hours) and the unsupervised students (4.6 hours, SD 2.4 hours). According to the type of school, English medium school children had a mean higher screen time (5.46 hours, SD 2.32 hours) compared to Bangla medium school children (3.67 hours, SD 2.00 hours). Headache was significantly higher among the unsupervised digital screen users compared to those who used digital screens with parental supervision (175/336 students, 52.1% versus 161/336 students, 47.9%; P<.003). Moreover, students who used digital screens without parental supervision had poor quality of sleep. Behavioral problems such as conduct issues (119/420 students, 28.3%) and peer difficulties (121/420 students, 28.8%) were observed among the participants. However, when comparing supervised and unsupervised students, we found no statistically significant differences in the prevalence of these issues. The findings of the study showed that the lack of screen time supervision is associated with negative health effects in children. The roles of various stakeholders, including schools, parents, policy makers, and students themselves, are crucial in developing effective guidelines for managing screen use among students. Further research is needed to demonstrate causal mechanisms; identify the best interventions; and determine the role of mediators and moderators in households, surroundings, and schools.

Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan Akademik dan Fasilitas Pendidikan Terhadap Kepuasan Mahasiswa (Studi Kasus pada Mahasiswa Politeknik Bumi Akpelni Semarang)

The population of this study consists of 1,263 active Politeknik Bumi Akperni Semarang students in the academic year 2020-2021, and the purpose of this study is to determine the quality of academic services and educational facilities simultaneously and partially affect student satisfaction. The sample comprised 95 respondents, selected using a simple random sampling method. A Likert scale questionnaire, built on theory and transformed into instrumental variables, is used for data collection. Multiple regression analysis is also used to test the research instrument. The research results indicate that (1) the variable of academic service quality (X1) affects student satisfaction (Y), with a t-value of 2.917 greater than the t-table value of 1.986; (2) the variable of "educational institution" (X2) affects student satisfaction (Y), with a t-value of 4.192 greater than the t-table value of 1.986; and (3) the variable of academic service quality (X1) and the aspect of the educational institution (X2) affect student satisfaction. (Y).

Communication Strategies as a Catalyst for Trust Building During Banking Mergers: Lessons from Nepalese Bank

This study investigates the key determinants of customer satisfaction in the post-merger context ofNIC Asia Bank and Kumari Bank, with a focus on technological innovation, employee competence, andcommunication strategies. Drawing on theoretical frameworks such as Expectancy Disconfirmation Theoryand Post-Merger Integration Theory, the study integrates cultural integration as a moderating variable. Usinga stratified random sampling method, data were collected from 500 respondents representing diversecustomer segments. Quantitative analyses, including descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression models,reveal that employee competence (β = 0.50) is the most significant driver of satisfaction, followed bycommunication strategies (β = 0.40) and technological innovation (β = 0.35). Cultural integration (β = 0.20)amplifies these relationships, enhancing the customer experience during organizational transitions. Findingshighlight significant urban-rural disparities, with urban customers favoring digital banking and ruralcustomers relying on traditional services. Accessibility challenges were particularly pronounced in rural areas.This study provides actionable recommendations for banks navigating mergers, emphasizing the need forimproved digital infrastructure, tailored communication, workforce training, and cultural alignment to ensuresustained customer satisfaction and loyalty. These insights contribute to academic discourse and offer practicalstrategies for the financial sector.

Analysis of the Effect of the Head of Room's Leadership Style and Nurse's Hand Hygiene Compliance on the Prevention of Nosocomial Infections in Hospital

This study aims to analyze the influence of the leadership style of the head of the room and nurses' handwashing compliance on the prevention of nosocomial infections in hospitals—quantitative research with a survey approach involving 123 respondents with a proportional random sampling method. Data acquisition was done using a questionnaire instrument to measure the perception of leadership style, compliance, and prevention of nosocomial infections, and it was analyzed using a correlation test. The results of the T-test showed a Sig. Value of 0.001 &lt;0.05, and the F test showed a Sig. Value of 0.002 &lt;0.05 with a calculated F value of 41.437 indicating a significant influence between the leadership style of the head of the room and handwashing compliance on the prevention of nosocomial infections. This study concludes that the leadership style of the head of the room and nurses' hand hygiene compliance plays an important role in efforts to prevent nosocomial infections.

Integrating Motivation Theory into the AIED Curriculum for Technical Education: Examining the Impact on Learning Outcomes and the Moderating Role of Computer Self-Efficacy

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies into education has gained increasing attention, yet limited research examines how the curriculum design can enhance learning outcomes and influence learners’ intentions to continue AI learning. This study addresses this gap by integrating the theory of planned behavior, technology acceptance model, theories of motivation, and computer self-efficacy to explore the factors affecting learners’ behavioral intentions in AI education. Using the AI course quality as the primary antecedent and “intention to continue taking courses” as the dependent variable, the study investigates the structural relationships and mediating variables between these factors. Data were collected through a stratified random sampling method from 19 universities in Taiwan, involving 200 students who had completed five core AI-related courses, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, internet of things, big data, and robotics. The analysis, conducted using PLS-SEM, revealed that AI course quality directly and indirectly influences learners’ behavioral intentions through mediating variables such as learning satisfaction, computer self-efficacy, technological literacy, and computer learning motivation. Moreover, AI course quality exerted a significant positive effect on computer motivation, which, in turn, influenced self-efficacy and learning outcomes. These findings provide valuable insights into the antecedents and processes shaping learners’ intentions to continue AI learning, offering practical and theoretical implications for AI education.

Random sampling of ligand arrangements on a one-dimensional lattice

We introduce a transfer-matrix-based sequential sampling scheme for generating random samples of ligand arrangements on one-dimensional templates. The number of ligand types is arbitrary, the binding constants can have positional dependence, and cooperativity parameters are included. From the random arrangements, any (linear or nonlinear) observable can be calculated using sample averaging. As an example case study, we investigate the competitive binding of three ligand types (the sequence-specific binder netropsin, YOYO-1, and ethidium bromide) to a DNA molecule. We also employ our random sampling method of ligands to determine the quality of synthetically generated DNA barcodes as a function of concentration of a ligand (e.g., netropsin) in optical DNA mapping (ODM) experiments. We provide publically available softwares, with a computational time that scales linearly with the lattice size, for generating random ligand arrangements and for generating synthetic barcodes. Managing Tax Compliance Through Collective Action Framework in Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8) Goal: Lesson from Three Indonesian Cities

Objective: This study will examine how the government and citizens view taxes as a collective action in state governance for Decent work and economic growth (SDG 8) goal. Method: This research used questionnaires with a purposive random sampling method to collect data, and the data was tested using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) analysis. Results and Discussion: The results of the goodness of fit test of the three research areas show a significant value. The SEM-PLS analysis of hypothesis model testing results shows that all hypotheses are accepted in all three cities, but there are 3 hypotheses were rejected in one of the cities. The results of this study show a strong causal relationship between high levels of local tax payment compliance in the context of collective action. The Taxpayer Awareness variable influences the Taxpayer Compliance variable in Madiun and Mojokerto cities; however, in Probolinggo City, Taxpayer Compliance is influenced by Collaborative Governance. Increasing tax compliance is crucial for socio-economic development and contributes to the SDG 8 goal. Research Implications: Furthermore, the results showed that tax compliance is still in the low category. This challenges local governments to increase public awareness of the importance of paying taxes. Therefore, further research is needed to determine the collective action in increasing tax compliance warranted to achieve Indonesia's target of tax ratio rate.

The environmental health literacy level was effectively improved of residents in Shaanxi Province, China, 2022

BackgroundEnvironmental health literacy (EHL) aims to enable individuals to make informed choices to reduce health risks and protect the environment.ObjectivesTo assess the EHL of residents in Shaanxi Province, China in 2022 and analyze the influencing factors.MethodsThis study was a 2022 cross-sectional survey in Shaanxi Province, China, involving 2,237 residents aged 15 to 69. Participants were selected using a multi-stage random sampling method and surveyed through questionnaires in six cities. The weighted rate was calculated using the seventh National Census data, and influential factors were analyzed using multifactor logistic regression.ResultsAccording to the survey, the overall EHL level of Shaanxi residents in 2022 was 15.47%. The first-level classification literacy level of EHL was ranked in descending order: basic skills (21.64%), basic concepts (17.93%), and basic knowledge (14.44%). The EHL level was influenced by age, education level, and occupation. People with higher education and certain occupations were more likely to possess EHL, while older individuals and those with lower education levels, especially in rural areas, were less likely to possess it.ConclusionThe level of EHL among residents in Shaanxi Province in 2022 was higher than in 2020. The findings showed that targeted health education for low EHL groups effectively reduced urban–rural disparities and improved adolescents’ EHL levels.

RIGHTS-DRIVEN CONSUMER ACTIONS: THE LINK BETWEEN AWARENESS OF CONSUMER RIGHTS AND FINANCIAL INDEPENDENCE

This research suggests that as individuals' financial standing improves and they achieve a debt-free status, the link between their awareness of consumer rights and their ability to act on this knowledge becomes stronger. The study utilized a multistage random sampling method to gather data from a diverse group of consumers across Kerala. The findings indicate that consumers who are free of debt are more likely to translate their awareness of consumer rights into informed actions, demonstrating a positive correlation between financial stability and proactive consumer behavior. The study highlights the significance of debt freedom in empowering consumers to make better decisions regarding their rights, underlining how financial security can lead to more active engagement with consumer protection principles. The paper discusses the broader implications of these findings, emphasizing the need for further research into how financial literacy and consumer education can enhance consumer rights awareness and behaviors, particularly in regions with varying levels of economic stability. The results could inform policy makers and businesses about the role of financial independence in fostering informed consumer practices.
