A woman of 38, with eleven months' history of spinal tumour with commencing paraplegia, and tumours in several ribs. Histology confirmed the X-ray diagnosis of multiple myelomatosis. X-ray therapy was followed by relief of pain, removal of paralysis and return of sphincter control. A man of 50 years, with a two months' history of spinal tumour with paraplegia and incontinence. Histology confirmed X-ray diagnosis of haemangioma of a vertebral body. Treatment with radon and X-ray therapy. Good result which persists one year and ten months later.
