Planning A Fruit Shop Business Development Strategy "Nu Mesari Buah" Using SWOT Analysis and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) Method

This study employs SWOT analysis and QSPM method to develop a business strategy for "Nu Mesari Buah" fruit shop, focusing on internal and external factors affecting its competitiveness. Through qualitative analysis, including interviews, strengths like strategic location and fresh stock, weaknesses such as price fluctuations, opportunities such as increased demand, and threats like competition were identified. Quantitative evaluations using IFE and EFE matrices revealed stronger internal advantages and opportunities, indicating a favorable position for strategic planning. The IE matrix placed the shop in the Hold quadrant, suggesting market and product development strategies. QSPM prioritized strategies, with increasing goods availability before holidays ranked highest. This aims to meet rising demand by collaborating with local suppliers. Overall, the research offers insights for strategic planning in "Nu Mesari Buah" and similar businesses, albeit requiring gradual monitoring and evaluation for practical implementation, considering environmental and market dynamics.

RANCANGAN STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN USAHA COFFEE SHOP MENGGUNAKAN METODE QUANTITATIVE STRATEGIC PLANNING MATRIX (QSPM) DAN BLUE OCEAN STRATEGY (BOS) DALAM UPAYA MEMPERTAHANKAN USAHA (STUDI KASUS: MEDIAN COFFEE AND EATERY)

The increasing number of coffee shops in Pekanbaru city significantly makes Median Coffee and Eatery required to remain competitive by determining the right planning / strategy. In the last few months Median Coffee and Eatery has experienced a very significant decline in profits. This study aims to design alternative strategies by providing new innovations in developing and maintaining businesses using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) and Blue Ocean Strategy (BOS) methods. Based on the results of calculations using the QSPM method, 7 alternative strategies were obtained, there are 3 priority strategies that have the highest TAS value, namely providing an attractive outdoor area (TAS 7.647), expanding indoor and parking areas (TAS 7.643), and optimizing promotional activities (TAS 7.559). This research is expected to be an evaluation and consideration for business owners so that Median Coffee and Eatery can increase sales.

Creating an environmentally responsible business: Evaluating, designing and prioritizing strategies

Business organizations are constantly seeking ways to gain a competitive edge, and one approach is to develop effective strategies. To this end, this study aimed to identify internal and external factors that affect a company's performance and to formulate alternative strategies that could ensure its sustainability. The research focused on PT. Kastara Group Indonesia operates in the wholesale trade of coconut, coffee, and fish. To analyze the company's current position, the researchers employed Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE), External Factor Evaluation (EFE), Internal-External (IE) Matrix, SWOT Matrix, and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) in a case study. Based on the IE Matrix analysis results, the company requires a strategy for growth and development. The QSPM method was used to evaluate and compare alternative strategies. The results suggest that the company's strength lies in its ability to transform its business model digitally by creating dedicated platforms for wholesalers, which can reduce the length of the supply chain and expand the market.

STRATEGIES FOR VILLAGE TOURISM DEVELOPMENT IN COASTAL DURING COVID-19: CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

The Covid-19 outbreak has had a negative impact on the decline in the number of visits in the tourism sector, one of which is the tourist village. The recovery of tourist villages during Covid-19 relies heavily on the role of the Tourism Awareness Community (Pokdarwis). However, the role of the Tourism Awareness Community in the development of tourist villages during Covid-19 is still not clearly discussed. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the tourism village development strategy during COVID-19 by the Tourism Awareness Community in the Teritip Village, Balikpapan-Indonesia. This study uses the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method, which is a method for determining the priority of alternative strategies obtained from a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats). The results showed that the position of the Tourism Awareness Community was in quadrant V (Hold and Maintain), namely market penetration and product development strategies. That is, the professional management of tourist villages is crucial to increasing the number of tourist visits. The management of the tourist village must be able to optimize the resources they have to develop a tourist village in the Teritip Village. In addition, the development of attractive tour packages is also the key to attracting tourists. Therefore, strengthening human resources related to the professionalism of tourism village management is very necessary in order to advance tourism villages.

Presented and prioritizing waste management strategies using SWOT and QSPM approach in two private hospitals in Yazd in 2021

ABSTRACT Background This study aimed to present a strategic waste management in two private hospitals in Yazd using models of the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) and quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM). Methods The strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the organization was identified according to existing documents and expert team. The internal and external factors were identified by internal factor evaluation (IFE) and external factor evaluation (EFE) matrices. The strategies to improve waste management in two hospitals were presented by comparing internal and external factors. Finally, the attractiveness table was compiled and weighted using the QSPM method to prioritize the strategies. Results The results demonstrated that 24 strengths, 30 weaknesses, 16 opportunities, and 22 threats were identified. The final score of internal and external factors for hospital A and B were (X: 2.37, Y:1.88) and (X: 2.37, Y: 2.01), respectively. Based on the results, 12 strategies were presented. Finally, the strategy of “the improvement of green management indicators” was implemented as a priority according to QSPM matrix. Conclusion The result of this study duplicated that using the QSPM and SWOT models is assist to present viable strategies to improve the health-care waste management.

USULAN STRATEGI PEMASARAN PADA PRODUK TAS RANSEL DI UKM UD.RISSLIN DENGAN METODE SWOT DAN QSPM

The development of business in the era of globalization has increased, the increasing competition between companies is getting higher, causing companies to have to develop marketing strategies to attract consumer interest and maintain continuity in the face of competition. This study uses data processing methods in the form of Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). SWOT is used to measure internal and external conditions, in the form of strengths and weaknesses made in the IFE matrix and opportunities and threats created in the EFE matrix. The first stage is weighting, rating and calculating the weighted value of the IFE and EFE matrices, then formulating a marketing strategy with an Internal External and SWOT matrix, and the last stage is the stage of choosing alternative strategies using the QSPM method which is a method for determining alternative strategies objectively based on key success factors. previously identified internal and external. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY : QUANTITATIVE STRATEGIC PLANNING MATRIX (QSPM) PERSPECTIVES

Abstract- King's Promotion Indonesia is a company engaged in international bag production services. This study uses a quantitative strategic planning matrix method by evaluating alternative options objectively, determining attractiveness, then deciding the best strategy. The purpose of this study is to analyze internal and external conditions of the company and formulate a business strategy in order to gain a competitive advantage for the company. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with the type of case study research. Data collection techniques using interviews, surveys and questionnaires conducted on related parties within the company. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using the grand strategy matrix and QSPM. The result of the grand strategy shows that the alternatives that can be applied by the company are market penetration and product development strategies. The results of this study provide alternative strategies, namely improving product quality, developing product variants and designs, and making market pricing strategies in the face of competition. The results of this study show consistency of resource-based theory which states that companies that can maintain its competitive advantage has the ability to create added value for stakeholders.

Developing and ranking the strategies of Zarand power plant using quantitative strategic planning matrix and best-worst method

Developing the power plants in any country is considered an economic development strategy as it changes the country’s market despite the competitive pressures. However, to grow the electricity market, policymakers need to evaluate the domestic Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT) of electric power plants. So, the necessity of a strategic plan for the power plants is inevitable to reach the goals such as eliminating the shortcomings, and meeting the desired criteria of an organization, such as more market share, acceptable profitability, customer satisfaction, increasing profit growth rate, and productivity through economic and cost-effective operations. Therefore, in this paper, the Zarand power plant in Iran is chosen as a case study to develop the associated strategies and rank them. A power plant strategic plan was generated by using a SWOT matrix. Then, the developed strategies were prioritized using a quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) and the best-worst method (BWM). The results confirm that developing the main product (electricity power), managing water consumption, and providing equipment are the most critical strategies for the Zarand power plant. Findings also demonstrated that the results of the BWM method are more accurate and correct than the QSPM method for prioritizing strategies

A Market Development Business Strategy of Eco-Friendly Craft From Palm Oil Stand Waste in Rokan Hilir, Riau

This study aims to produce an analysis of the strategic position of the market development of the palm oil sticks waste craft industry and to determine an analysis of alternative strategies for the development of the palm-oil sticks waste craft market in Rokan Hilir Riau. This research method uses the QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method. The results of the QSPM analysis in this study to the formulation of alternative design strategies. Determine what, how, when, where and who runs QSPM. This study indicates that IFAS and EFAS are in the quadrant II position with coordinate values between 2.00 – 2.99. This position indicates that the palm-oil stick waste craft industry in Rokan Hilir Riau is positively strong. However, it faces significant challenges, so it must be managed with a market development strategy. While the results of the QSPM analysis show that the priority of alternative market development strategies is to increase the value of product uniqueness, product added value, knowledge capabilities, and craftsman skills. The industry is advised to increase its tactical strategy variations in demanding challenges. The business challenges are marketing, business network, technological innovation, and capital issues. The improvement of production facilities and infrastructure and increasing knowledge and skills of diversified processing artisans increase the unique value of the product and the added value of the product being more different than competitors. The research implications contribute to determining the market development strategy and theoretical implications related to the market development strategy concept. COVID-19 control management in central corona hospitals using SWOT and QSPM matrices: A case study in Kashan central hospitals

Background: During the COVID-19 pandemic, hospitals have been the most important centers for the virus spread. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the management of infection control in central corona hospitals in Kashan using the quantitative strategic planning matrix (QSPM) matrix. Methods: The existing documents studied the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the organization identified by environmental health experts. The internal and external factors were identified as internal factor evaluation (IFE) and external factor evaluation (EFE) matrices, respectively, then, prioritized and weighted. In the next step, the SWOT matrix was formed and the type of used strategy by the organization was determined, and solutions to improve the current situation were presented by experts. Finally, the attractiveness table was compiled and weighted using the QSPM method to prioritize the proposed strategies. Results: After identifying 25 strengths, 28 weaknesses, 15 opportunities, and 13 threats, weighting was performed, the final score for internal and external factors was 2.6475 and 2.3825, respectively. The final strategy for implementing COVID-19 disease control in the studied hospitals was the Conservative Strategy (WO). Based on this, six control strategies were presented. The priority and attractiveness of each strategy were evaluated using the QSPM matrix. Finally, the strategy of "structuring the system and providing and upgrading the equipment and infrastructure facilities" was implemented as a priority. Conclusion: According to the results, the combination of SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and QSPM methods can play an efficient role in identifying and evaluating the factors affecting the management of the COVID-19 pandemic in hospitals and further developing and prioritizing control strategies for this infectious disease.

Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) in Determining Alternative Strategies for the Covid-19 Epidemic in the Food and Beverage Manufacturing Companies in Indonesia

The food and beverage industry is one of the manufacturing sectors relied upon to make a significant contribution to national economic growth. Since the beginning of 2020, the world has been shocked by the coronavirus outbreak that originated in China. The impact of Covid-19 has hit various aspects of human life, including the food and beverage industry. For this reason, stakeholders are expected to focus on formulating strategies for the Covid 19 Epidemic in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector. This study aims to identify internal factors' strengths and weaknesses and external factors' opportunities and threats to determine alternative strategies for the covid 19 epidemic in manufacturing companies in the food and beverage sub-sector. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. It knows the right marketing strategy to develop the company based on a SWOT analysis. It knows the right alternative strategy based on QSPM analysis. This research was conducted at Nutrifood; Data were collected using observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques. Nutrifood Indonesia is in quadrant I, which means a company with high market growth and a solid competitive position; on the results of the SWOT matrix analysis with quantitative model analysis, an effective formulation, namely the SO strategy, uses strengths to take advantage of various opportunities (opportunities). The implementation of SO's strategy is to expand market share, maintain and improve service quality to customers and improve product quality. The results showed that the internal and external factors were processed using the SWOT matrix. Analisis Strategi Bersaing UMKM Dengan Matriks SWOT dan QSPM

ABSTRACT Toserba Blitz is one of the MSMEs which is engaged in the sale of daily necessities. Every day, Toserba Blitz to provide consumer needs and determine sales strategies to win the sales competition. The purpose’s research is to make the right decisions in determining the sales strategy to win the competition. The method used strategic management matrix formulation which consists of 3 stages, namely the Input Stage using the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) Matrix, the External Factor Evaluation (EFE) Matrix, the External Internal Matrix (IE) and the Boston Consulting Group Matrix, Matching stage using SWOT analysis and the decision stage using QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method. The results are the highest Total Attractiveness Scores (TAS), 3.03 and 3.76, which are followed by market and product development strategies with total strength and weakness score of 1.88 and total value of opportunities and threats 2.93, and the integration strategy total score of 1.41 and 3.05. Toserba Blitz needs to apply alternative strategy for market penetration, by increasing store employees to increasing sales, increasing sales of latest products, competitive prices, increasing promotions supported by pricing strategy, increasing the uses of customers based on loyalty, increased advertising, offering promotion extensively or increasing publicity. SWOT ANALYSIS IN AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION (Case Study: Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School, Depok)

The development of the educational institution industry continues to increase, which demands an effective marketing strategy to face the increasingly tight competition in the education service business. This research is a qualitative research methodology with a descriptive approach that aims to determine the marketing strategy of Baitul Qur'an educational institutions. The analysis tool used is the analysis of the company's environment (EFE, IFE, and IE Matrix) with the SWOT method (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The results of the Baitul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School evaluation based on Internal and External analysis obtained from the SWOT analysis resulted in an alternative strategy of S-O (Strength-Opportunity). Then, the results of the SWOT analysis are reprocessed using the QSPM (quantitative strategic planning matrix) method to obtain priority strategies from various alternative strategies as well as a decision to choose a strategy. The priority strategy in this study is to optimize the use of digital marketing and other marketing technologies to support the development of Islamic boarding schools in a wider area (6,87).

The reseach purpose formulated the specific strategy for Rumah Makan Padang business development. The research method is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis techniques will be divided into three activities: 1) The input stage uses the Delphi technique, 2) the adjustment stage by weighting technique which used a reciprocal rank method and 3) The decision determination stage analyzed by the quantitative strategic planning matrix method. The recomendation strategy are: do the supply chain management with trusted suppliers, make the collaboration with the government to facilate and grant all permits related to halal, health, safety and food security accreditation, develope financing, delivery and promoting throug digital technology, innovate the menus and keep to maintaining unique building concepts and service techniques.

ANALISIS STRATEGI PEMASARAN DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE SWOT DAN QSPM PADA PT. SENTRAL PERKASA JAYA


 Sentral Perkasa Jaya is a company that’s move in expedition. The problem faced is the development of technology causing intense business competition, resulting in decreased level of corporate income from year to year. In addition, the strategies used also tend to be monotonous, causing companies to compete with other companies. There are many problem of marketing strategy in the company, it can be an analysis of internal and external factors in the company. Next, internal and external factors will be analyzed again using SWOT matrix and IE matrix. After that Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) are used to analyze decision making selection about appropriate strategies applied n the company. Based on the calculation of strategies that have been done using two methods, SWOT and IE, then the appropriate alternative strategy for the company is a market penetration strategy and product development strategy. The results of the QSPM method indicate that the best alternative strategy is the product development strategy with a total score of 5.47. This product development strategy is a strategy whereby a company does an existing product repair, or develops a new product to increase sales.

STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN PEMASARAN BUAH MANGGA ARUMANIS 143 PT. TRIGATRA RAJASA SITUBONDO JAWA TIMUR

ABSTRACT
 Indonesian has been ranked as 5th mango producer in the world with total production reached 2.18 million, however, Indonesian has not included the top ten world mango exporter countries. Indonesian total export was 1,240 tons and only fulfilled 0,6% of the world export value. PT. Trigatra Rajasa is one of the Arumanis 143 mango producers in Indonesian. The research objective was to analyze internal and external factors which influence marketing mango of PT Trigatra Rajasa including the arrangement of strategic recommendation to incline market value. Data collection was done from January to May 2019 through observation and respondent interview. Questioner with SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)and QSPM (Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix) method was used during the interview. Analysis tools such as IFE, SWOT and QSPM were utilized in this research. The result showed that IFE (internal factor evaluation matrix) and EFE (external factor evaluation matrix) calculation matrix were given total score 2,85 and 2,8, respectively. Adding result of both matrix was positioning the mango marketing reality of PT Trigatra Rajasa in compartment V, mean hold and maintain. In this compartment, market penetration and product development strategy were suggested to be applied. Market penetration was recommended strategy to increase marketing of mango PT. Trigatra Rajasa based on QSPM (4,03) and efficiency of production budget through the utilization of mechanization (3,00) were suggested.

Development of Ecotourism-Based Strategy: A Case Study of Tinjomoyo Tourism Forest

Tinjomoyo Tourism Forest Area is an object or tourist destination with the concept of ecotourism-based nature conservation in the city of Semarang, Central Java Province. The number of visitors, based on the tourist destination in the last three years (2015-2017) shows that the number of tourists visiting the Tinjomoyo Tourism Forest Area are 5,949 tourists in 2015, to 13,755 tourists in 2017. The area is inversely proportional to tourism in Semarang, including the park, Wildlife, Lele Park and Kreo Goa. To improve the visitor attention, it needs a development of potential strategy Ecotourism-based tourism objects using strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats (SWOT) analysis and Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) analysis. This study recommends development strategies that are analysed through data processing from internal and external factors and alternative strategies that become priority strategies that can be implemented. The results of the study found 23 indicators of strength indicators and 12 weakness indicators. While for external factors there are 12 indicators that appear with details of 6 opportunity indicators and 6 threat indicators. From the indicators found, a data processing is performed using the QSPM method that produces priority strategies.

Strategi Peningkatan Daya Saing Produk Suku Cadang Otomotif dan Elektonik Berbahan Karet di PT BesQ Sarana Abadi

In order to spur the automotive and electronic industries to meet domestic needs and compete in the era of globalization, the development of manufacturing industries is not only based on large-scale industries, but also needs to be developed into Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). The obstacles faced today are limited capital, human resources (HR), product development and marketing procedures. PT BesQ Sarana Abadi is a small and medium business (UKM) engaged in the business of making rubber parts. In order to improve competitiveness, PT BesQ Sarana Abadi is researched with the formulation of the right competitiveness strategy. The objectives of the study are: (1) to identify factors that influence the competitive advantage of rubber and automotive parts products; (2) analyzing internal and external factors that affect the competitiveness of rubber and automotive parts industry products using the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) methods; (3) develop competitiveness strategies for the automotive and electronic spare parts products industry using Internal-External (IE) methods and Strengths, Weakness, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) and Balance Score Cards (BSC); (4) formulating priority strategies to improve the competitiveness of rubber and automotive parts industry products using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method. From the analysis results, there are many weaknesses in the company. In this case a high opportunity value causes the company to operate, because in the IFE matrix the value of strength is greater than the value of weakness. In the EFE matrix, the opportunity value is greater than the threat. With the SWOT and BSC methods identified strategies needed, set the priority of the strategy by using the QSPM method.

Improving the Function of the Supreme Court Research and Development Center: Implementation of QSPM and SWOT

Research and development center (here refers to as Puslitbang) of the Supreme Court has an important role in the development process of law and justice in Indonesia. Puslitbang must be able to support the Supreme Court’s vision to create a great judicial firm. However, activities of Puslitbang of the Supreme Court are still limited to the implementation of research and review of certain topics. Whereas, Puslitbang has so many assignments beside doing research and review, which is described in Chief of the Supreme Court Decree Number: 140/KMA, SK/X/2008 on Guidance for Management and Implementation of Research, Development, Education, and Training. The other assignment of Puslitbang include: feasibility of the policy plan and carry out activities in developing models/legal and judicial products. So, it can be said that Puslitbang has not performed its full functions as described in Chief of the Supreme Court Decree Number: 140/KMA, SK/X/2008. The purpose of this study is to determine the strategy to improve the functions of Puslitbang of Supreme Court. This paper used descriptive-quantitative research with Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method. The first step of this method is determining the internal and external factors affecting the management of Puslitbang and then analyzing them using SWOT and QSPM. The results show that the strategy that obtains the highest score is organizing discussion forums with external and internal institutions. On the other hand, the strategy which obtains the lowest score is the leader’s role in determining policy by considering the needs of Puslitbang. The conclusion of this research is the QSPM method provides 4 best strategies for enhancing the function of Puslitbang. The strategies are: creating a discussion forum with internal and external institutions, budget flexibility, developing Puslitbang Human Resources, and preparing activities in accordance with the capacity of puslitbang resources.

Bioinsecticide has known for much farmers to substitute chemical pesticide. In periodically, hope that can reduce negative impact from chemical pesticide. One of company that starts their business with fertiliser and biology pesticide is CV Thara Nero Tama. This company was make business from made by order system, but now company wants to build their business more. The research aimed to priority of strategy from their internal and external factor. This research used Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) method with determine alternative strategies, than decide priority strategy. For the method stages are input stage with IFE and EFE matrix, continued with matching stage, IE matrix. The last stage is decision stage with QSPM method. Based on the result, the alternative strategies that can applied is seven strategies with highest TAS (Total Attractive Score) was the improving market segmentation.
