Strategies for the Sustainable Development of Industry-Education Integration in Higher Vocational Colleges in Guangdong Province

In order to find strategies for the sustainable development of industry-education integration in higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province, this paper takes 384 students and 361 teachers from 5 higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province, seven senior education managers from 5 higher vocational colleges, and three senior business managers from 3 enterprises as the research subjects. This study designed a questionnaire for students and teachers to analyze the factors affecting the development status of industry-education integration at four levels: the government, higher vocational college, enterprise, and student levels. The results show that although students and teachers of higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province believe that the overall development status of industry-education integration is at a high level in all four aspects, there are still deficiencies in government policy support, higher vocational colleges in teacher talent construction, enterprises in capital investment, and students in practical ability. In order to bridge these gaps, this study used SWOT-PEST analysis and TOWS analysis and proposed a set of targeted strategy drafts, which cover four aspects and a total of 37 measures. Finally, 25 senior education managers conducted focus group discussions on the draft strategies. Eventually, they formed a strategy covering four aspects and a total of 19 measures, including five measures at the government level, five for higher vocational colleges, five for enterprises, and four measures for students. In order to verify the feasibility and adaptability of the strategy, 25 experts from 5 higher vocational colleges were invited to evaluate the strategy. The strategy evaluation experts believed that the overall feasibility and adaptability of the sustainable development strategy of industry-education integration in higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province were at the highest level (x̄=4.51) and (x̄=4.68), respectively. These strategies provide feasible methods for the sustainable development of industry-education integration in higher vocational colleges in Guangdong Province. These can help higher vocational colleges improve the quality of talent training, enhance students' employment competitiveness and adaptability, and promote industrial development and social progress.

Analysis of the Matching Degree Between Talent Cultivation System and Industrial Demand in Jiangmen City

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the matching degree between talent training system and industrial demand in Jiangmen City, and put forward corresponding policy suggestions. Through the literature review, status quo analysis, industrial demand analysis, and talent training and industrial demand matching degree analysis, this paper reveals the effectiveness and problems in the docking of talent training system and industrial demand in Jiangmen City. It is found that Jiangmen City has made some progress in the docking of talent cultivation and industrial demand through the integration of industry and education, adjustment of professional settings and policy support, but still faces challenges such as the unsound mechanism of the integration of industry and education and the insufficient supply of policies. This paper puts forward policy suggestions such as strengthening the integration of industry and education, optimizing the professional settings, upgrading the faculty, strengthening practical teaching and establishing an evaluation mechanism in order to optimize the talent cultivation system in Jiangmen City. At the same time, it is suggested to build a talent demand prediction model, assess the quality of talent training, evaluate the effect of policy implementation, and establish a long-term monitoring and evaluation mechanism in order to promote a better match between the talent training system and the industrial demand in Jiangmen City, and to promote the high-quality development of the regional economy.

Research on the Construction of Virtual Reality Technology Major Course System

Along with virtual reality technology is widely used in all walks of life, China’s social and economic development urgently needs high-quality innovative, and compound virtual reality technical personnel. In this context, as the main front of training virtual technical talents, universities are urgently required to promote the innovative construction and deepening reform of the virtual reality technology curriculum system, and on this basis to promote the deep integration of the industrial chain, innovation chain, discipline chain and talent chain. Based on this, combined with the background of the optimization of the curriculum system of virtual reality technology major in colleges and universities under the new situation, this paper discusses the specific optimization path by elaborating the relevant optimization ideas to improve the quality of talent training for virtual reality technology majors.

Research on Multi-Dimensional Integration Path of Traditional Chinese Culture and Standard Chinese Language Teaching

In recent years, with the proposed construction of “new liberal arts,” some colleges and universities have made breakthroughs in interdisciplinary, curriculum integration, and education and teaching reform in combination with the actual situation and characteristics of their professional development, which has improved the quality of college talent training in the new era. Based on the requirements of “new liberal arts” construction, combined with the actual work of education and teaching, this paper explores the coupling degree of Chinese traditional culture teaching and national common language teaching in the aspects of value guidance, teaching methods, assessment, and evaluation, and applies the survey method and interview method to compare the differences before and after the pilot minority college students learn Chinese traditional culture curriculum reform, using group cooperation. The multi-dimensional teaching paths, such as the contrast of Chinese and Uyghur cultural communication and immersive experience, pay attention to the interdisciplinarity and the virtuous cycle teaching mode, aiming to make cultural education and language education move forward together, provide different perspectives for the cross-integration of cultural teaching and national standard language teaching, and give full play to the role of the construction of new liberal arts in the process of curriculum cross-teaching, teaching mode, and talent training.

Exploration of the Training Model for Outstanding Talents in New Agricultural Sciences in Local Universities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

In the context of the new agricultural science and rural revitalization era, there have been a series of changes in the demand for talent in agricultural science professional positions and their social service functions. In response to the problems of insufficient understanding of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers by teachers and students, inadequate curriculum system to meet the development needs of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, insufficient extension of practical teaching links, and a shortage of agricultural talents who can practice and innovate, this study focuses on the cultivation of undergraduate talents in veterinary medicine. It proposes a new model for cultivating outstanding talents in agriculture in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, which is of great significance for promoting the rural revitalization of veterinary talents and improving the quality of talent training.

Research on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Reform in Local Colleges and Universities under the Background of Industry-Education Integration

With the continuous development of China’s economy and the continuous upgrading of market demand, the demand for talent in enterprises and industries is increasingly diversified and complex, especially innovation ability has become one of the important standards to measure the quality of talent. At the same time, the difficult employment of college students is still serious, the state has issued a series of policies to encourage college students to actively start their own businesses. In this context, local universities, as an important part of higher education, are facing the critical task of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform. This paper aims to explore the current situation, problems, and reform paths of innovation and entrepreneurship education reform in local universities under the background of the integration of industry and education, in order to improve the training quality of innovative and entrepreneurial talents.

Exploration and Practice of Innovative and Entrepreneurial Talent Training Model in Medical Colleges under the Background of “New Medicine”

Innovation and entrepreneurship education has become one of the important directions of higher education reform, but innovation and entrepreneurship education in medical colleges generally lags behind other discipline universities or comprehensive universities. Actively exploring the training mode of innovation and entrepreneurship talents is of great significance for cultivating innovative medical talents needed by the country and society. At present, innovation and entrepreneurship education in higher medical colleges is facing many challenges, the most important of which include the lack of concept in innovation and entrepreneurship education, medical students’ weak awareness of innovation and entrepreneurship, and poor construction of innovation and entrepreneurship teaching staff. To address these challenges, we will introduce incentive measures for innovation and entrepreneurship education at the college level, and improve the guarantee and incentive mechanisms for innovation and entrepreneurship education; create an “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Platform” for teachers and students to exchange ideas on innovation and entrepreneurship; start building a high-quality team of innovation and entrepreneurship teachers, promote the continuous improvement of the quality of innovation and entrepreneurship education, and ensure the quality of medical talent training.

The Planning and Design of Digital Smart Campus

Under the background of “Digital Liaoning, Smart Province,” as the application of a new generation of network information technology in colleges and universities, the digital smart campus is an important part of digital Liaoning education informationization. Combined with the overall actual situation of the university campus, in line with the principle of “People-oriented, Service-oriented, Information Interoperability and Data Sharing,” through the idea of “management + service,” the traditional application system with management as the core to the service as the core is realized. On the basis of digital information and networks, a new digital smart campus is built based on several information technologies. From the aspects of architecture design, platform and application integration, systematic overall design and scientific and reasonable deployment, to create an efficient one-stop digital intelligent information service platform to fully optimize the use of digital information resources, to provide timely, accurate and efficient campus information services for teachers, students and staff, and to provide cross-departmental business management and convenient information services for the whole school users through the virtual digital means for display and publicity. The overall planning of the campus is carried out step by step, and the campus network, digitalization, virtualization and intelligence are gradually realized. Expand the time and space dimension of the real campus, improve the overall operation efficiency, and then improve the quality of talent training, management level and management efficiency.

A survey on improving core literacy among impoverished students in Chinese pharmaceutical universities under a development-oriented funding system

BackgroundImpoverished students constitute a group that cannot be overlooked in higher education. It is crucial for pharmaceutical universities worldwide to implement financial assistance programs that promote the development and success of students from poor families. Chinese universities have carried out active exploration of subsidized education, and made important achievements, but there are also problems, which are worth learning from. This study proposed a strategy to improve the core literacy of impoverished pharmaceutical students under the development-oriented funding system.MethodsThe study centers on clinical pharmacy students from a pharmaceutical college as the research subjects. A sequential explanatory mixed-methods approach was employed, with quantitative data collected through a survey questionnaire, supplemented by qualitative data collected through in-depth interviews. Data gathered from these two levels were integrated and subjected to statistical analysis.ResultsThe quantitative survey yielded a total of 397 valid samples, most of whom were females (73.8%), mainly at undergraduate level (89.67%), and from non-urban area (73.81%). Five of them participated in further qualitative interviews. The combined data identified: (a) financial aid—most students were highly satisfied with the financial support; (b) psychological support—most of the students interviewed reported that the scholarship significantly improved their self-confidence and motivation; (c) academic guidance—funded students had clear expectations for career development and academic guidance, demonstrating a strong need for further professional study; and (d) employment assistance—most students wanted career guidance and career planning support.ConclusionsThe financial assistance in pharmaceutical colleges and universities should be enriched to resolve the worries of impoverished clinical pharmacy students through economic assistance, improve the moral cultivation with psychological assistance, strengthen their cultural and scientific literacy, and improve their knowledge and practical ability through academic assistance. Through the integration of pharmacy education, the vocational competence of clinical pharmacy students can be improved by employment assistance, and the reform of higher pharmacy education can be further promoted to improve the training quality of pharmaceutical talents.

Practice and thinking of multi-dimensional teaching of "Principle of Biotechnology" under the "Double First-Class" initiative

The Principle of Biotechnology is a compulsory course for undergraduates majoring in bioengineering at Zhejiang University of Technology. In response to the "Double First-Class" initiative and in order to improve the teaching effect of this course and the quality of talent training, we reformed the teaching of Principle of Biotechnology, the core course in bioengineering. Specifically, we reorganized the teaching contents, improved the process management of teaching and learning, and implemented multi-dimensional teaching practice. These measures improved teaching quality and promoted the achievement of training goals, which was of great significance for developing "First-Class" disciplines.

Research on the Construction and Practice of Evaluation Systems for the Quality of Early Childhood Education Talent Training from the Perspective of Value-added Evaluation

In the context of rapid socioeconomic development, the demand for high-quality professional talent in the childcare industry is increasing. However, traditional talent cultivation quality evaluation systems have many limitations in meeting industry needs and improving talent quality. Since establishing the first private higher education institution in 1993, the sector has expanded significantly, with private colleges now accounting for a substantial portion of the province's higher education landscape. The analysis highlights the effectiveness of these institutions in aligning with national educational goals and regional economic needs, as well as their contributions to talent cultivation. However, the study also identifies critical issues, including the quality of talent training, internal governance deficiencies, and the need for enhanced faculty development. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of strengthening party building and ideological education within these institutions. The paper proposed comprehensive strategies to address these challenges to improve governance structures, optimize educational quality, and foster a high-quality teaching workforce. Ultimately, this research aims to provide insights that can guide the development of private undergraduate colleges in Guangdong Province, ensuring they contribute effectively to the region's economic and social advancement.

Teaching Reform of RFID Principles and Application Course with Information Industry Integration for System Capability Cultivation

The rapid development of the domestic information industry ecosystem has put forward higher requirements for the quality of computer talent training in colleges and universities. In response to the current issues of outdated course content and lagging teaching strategies in RFID principles and application courses at applied undergraduate institutions, measures have been proposed to promote the cultivation of talent for the autonomous and controllable RFID industry, taking the system capability as the main line. Under the guidance of the engineering education certification standards, based on the Tyler curriculum development model, domestic RFID platforms are introduced into the classroom. Through innovative reforms of the objectives, content, methods, and evaluation system of the RFID principles and application courses, the integration into the information industry ecosystem is actively promoted, enhancing the effective integration of the education chain, industry chain, innovation chain, and talent chain, contributing to the national strategy of independent control.

A Construction of Virtual Reality Technology Teaching Model to Improve Table Tennis Skills for University Students

Background and Aims: To explore and build virtual reality physical education courses, and create a new teaching model of "VR+ teaching" to improve the quality of talent training and teaching effect. This study will build a teaching model of virtual reality technology to improve college students' table tennis skills, trying to enable learners to complete real-time interaction of multiple senses with the help of sensing devices in virtual sports situations, and then combine the goal incentive and feedback mechanism to improve students' self-efficacy and learning interest, which can not only promote the diversified development of sports skill learning but also promote the development of sports skill learning. It also provides a reference for the application of virtual reality technology in physical education. The purpose of this study is to construct of virtual reality technology teaching model to improve table tennis skills for university students. Methodology: The survey included faculty and students at the three universities. Current number of teachers and students: Yunnan University has 1855 students and 66 teachers; Yunnan Normal University has 1980 students and 95 teachers. Yunnan Minzu University has 1531 students and 65 teachers. In this study, the experts were interviewed by telephone interview, face-to-face interview, and summary interview, using the method of interview outline. Questionnaires were distributed to students and teachers on-site and by webmail. The Delphi Method expert questionnaire was issued to 19 experts. Results: Most of the teachers are willing to use virtual reality technology to teach table tennis. They think virtual reality technology will improve their teaching effectiveness. Construct a virtual reality teaching model for improving college students' table tennis skills, and construct a virtual reality teaching model for improving college students' table tennis skills from five dimensions: teaching idea, teaching goal, teaching content, teaching process, and teaching evaluation. Most people agree on all issues (IQR range 0.00-1). Conclusion: Virtual reality technology is applied to table tennis teaching in colleges and universities so that students can quickly enter the role, and effectively improve the dull feeling caused by being bored and unable to hit the ball in the learning process of table tennis. While learning table tennis knowledge and skills, learners actively explore and complete the construction of new knowledge. It provides a new teaching concept for the reform of table tennis teaching and the multiple development of physical education curricula in colleges and universities and also promotes the deep integration of education informatization and physical education teaching in the new era.
