The Praktisi Mengajar program is thought to have an important role in improving the quality of student learning in tertiary institutions. Universities invite practitioners as guest lecturers for certain courses with the hope of providing practical experience to students so they are better prepared to face the world of work after graduation. However, there are still many unanswered questions regarding the effectiveness of Praktisi Mengajar in improving course outcomes. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Praktisi Mengajar program effects course outcomes and to describe student perceptions of the program. The study's findings indicate that the Praktisi Mengajar Program has an impact on KPMI course outcomes, and a description of students' positive perceptions toward the program was collected.

Pedagogy Applied in the Teaching Process in Regular Basic Education (EBR): Systematic Review Article

The development of new trends in education and in the field of applied pedagogy on teaching-learning, presents a wide variety of contributions that allow teachers to work with more management strategies for their class sessions making them to become innovative teachers for the different models of education. The methodology used in this research was the PRISMA method that allows to carry out research by reviewing academic works, being checked 4,459 academic works in three databases such as Scopus, Scielo and Dialnet, and excluded 4,425, leaving 34 academic works, and likewise the filtration was carried out again, finally excluding 4 academic works that presented duplicity of publication in the databases, leaving for the research 30 academic works that were applied in this article, in total 4,429 were excluded at the end. As a result, the pedagogical applications in learning-teaching are very significant due to the multiple ways of presenting systems and models in this area that favor EBR. In the discussion, researchers revealed that even the changes of strategies and pedagogical models do not help to improve the educational quality of learning in students; nevertheless, most of the researchers agree that these changes of paradigms and pedagogical models do help in the educational improvement of students. In conclusion, pedagogical applications in the field of learning-teaching bring much benefit in good classroom management developed by the teacher.

Teacher Evaluation of Islamic Religious Education Subjects as Improving the Quality of Student Learning at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this evaluation research is to explore in depth the performance of teachers in learning activities as material for evaluating the learning system at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City. In the standard learning implementation process which consists of 3 stages or dimensions, namely: planning the learning process, implementing the learning process, and assessing the learning process.
 Methodology: This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive data type. This research was conducted at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City. Data collection is carried out using interview techniques or questionnaires. In this research, the researcher collaborated with 2 teachers and the Head of SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City.
 Main Findings: Based on the results of interviews with Islamic Religious Education subject teachers at SDIT UMMI Bengkulu City, planning, implementation and assessment were good. Likewise, attention from foundations and school principals who give full attention to teachers so that they can continue to develop their potential and improve their teaching performance.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: Evaluation is a measuring tool and an effort to determine the level of success achieved. Evaluation activities are able to provide information about deficiencies or possible errors that need to be corrected in the future. Evaluation activities can encourage teachers to improve the quality of education in the future. This research is a novelty from previous research as a reference for improving the quality of student learning in elementary schools.

Enhancing Educational Excellence: Elevating Learning Quality Through Podcast-Based Arts Performances in Pesantren

This research uses a qualitative case study approach to analyze the use of podcast-based arts performances in improving the quality of Arabic language learning for students. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis involves collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The research results show the effectiveness of podcast arts performances in improving students' Arabic language skills and creating a creative learning atmosphere. Implementation involves planning, implementing, and evaluating the program. The research implications suggest that podcast-based arts performances can effectively improve Arabic language skills among Islamic boarding school students. Recommendations are given to educational institutions to consider integrating podcast-based arts performances to increase the effectiveness of Arabic language learning.

The Influence of Lecturer Competency, Teaching Methods, and Infrastructure on the Quality of Learning for Students of the Hospitaliti Department Care Study Program at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of lecturer competency, teaching methods and infrastructure on the quality of learning for students in the hospitality study program at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic, especially in restaurant operations courses. This type of research is quantitative research and is classified as population research using a questionnaire as a data collection tool with a population size of 47 students who are taking restaurant operations courses in the Hospitality Department of Cookery Study Program at the Makassar Tourism Polytechnic. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that partially the lecturer competency variable has a significant effect on the quality of learning, the teaching method variable has an effect but is not significant on the quality of learning and infrastructure has a significant effect on the quality of learning, while simultaneously the variables of lecturer competence, teaching methods and infrastructure have an effect together on the quality of learning in the Hospitality Department of Cookery Study Program at the Tourism Polytechnic, especially in restaurant operations courses.

A Trustworthy Automated Short-Answer Scoring System Using a New Dataset and Hybrid Transfer Learning Method

To measure the quality of student learning, teachers must conduct evaluations. One of the most efficient modes of evaluation is the short answer question. However, there can be inconsistencies in teacher-performed manual evaluations due to an excessive number of students, time demands, fatigue, etc. Consequently, teachers require a trustworthy system capable of autonomously and accurately evaluating student answers. Using hybrid transfer learning and student answer dataset, we aim to create a reliable automated short answer scoring system called Hybrid Transfer Learning for Automated Short Answer Scoring (HTL-ASAS). HTL-ASAS combines multiple tokenizers from a pretrained model with the bidirectional encoder representations from transformers. Based on our evaluation of the training model, we determined that HTL-ASAS has a higher evaluation accuracy than models used in previous studies. The accuracy of HTL-ASAS for datasets containing responses to questions pertaining to introductory information technology courses reaches 99.6%. With an accuracy close to one hundred percent, the developed model can undoubtedly serve as the foundation for a trustworthy ASAS system.

Research on online interactive teaching mode of college vocal music based on adaptive Kmeans algorithm

Abstract In order to improve the comprehensive learning quality of students when teaching university vocal music courses, teachers can create a teacher-student interactive teaching mode with a wide platform, precise business, and many approaches by carrying out interactive teaching. The research introduces the cuckoo algorithm for adaptive optimization on the basis of the traditional K-means algorithm, gives the clustering process of the adaptive K-means algorithm, and constructs an online interactive teaching system to realize the clustering of the characteristics of online interactive behavior of teachers and students. Finally, we use the speech in the vocal music classroom as an example to explore the online interactive teaching characteristics of vocal music. The traditional vocal music classroom is mainly a teacher-driven teaching mode. The frequency of teacher-student interaction is low, the proportion of students’ active questions to students’ active speech is 2.13%, and the teacher is less likely to organize students’ exchanges. In this teaching mode, the teacher encourages the acceptance of the proportion of speech is 16.17%, 75% of the classroom students use the online teaching system is higher than the teacher frequency, followed by the proportion of teachers using the online teaching system and the proportion of using the traditional teaching mode is close to 3:1, based on the online teaching system of the interactive teaching mode of the feedback effect is better.

Pitfalls of Digitalization: Teacher Recruitment in Malaysia International Schools

Human resource practices, particularly teacher recruitment, are evolving due to digitalisation. There is a critical need for international schools to attract and select quality teaching staff to ensure the quality of learning for students and maintain their competitiveness within a dynamic market. This paper reported the findings of a study that investigated the challenges that school administrators faced during the digitalisation of teacher recruitment practices at international schools in Malaysia. A series of semi-structured interviews involving fourteen management personnel from eleven international schools revealed seven challenges highlighted by the participants: 1) a rise in competition, 2) attracting irrelevant or underqualified applicants, 3) time-consuming preparation of detailed job ads and recruitment booklets, 4) escalating recruitment costs, 5) student privacy issues, 6) managing a large number of applications, and 7) loss of important information during virtual interview. To address these challenges, the participants took four actions: 1) advanced planning before the new school term, 2) building rapport with potential candidates, 3) selecting a suitable online recruitment platform, and 4) integrating online and offline recruitment. The findings of the study contribute to the growing literature on talent acquisition at international schools by providing empirical evidence of the existing challenges faced at a sample of international schools in Malaysia.

Implementation of the Concept of Teacher Service Excellence in Surah Al-Muddatstsir Verses 1-7 to Improve the Quality of Student Learning

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the concept of teacher service excellence from the perspective of Surah al-Muddatstsir verses 1-7 to improve the quality of student learning. The researcher used a qualitative research method through a literature review with a bir-ra'yi (diroyah) interpretation approach, which included ar-Ra'yu al-Mahmudah. The data sources consist of primary data, namely the Al-Qur'an Surah al-Muddatstsir verses 1-7, and secondary data, several tafsir books, books, articles, or other relevant scientific works to this research. The data collection techniques used are documentation and content analysis. The results of the research show that the implementation of the teacher service excellence concept contained in Surah al-Muddatstsir verses 1-7 contains several aspects, including building personnel relationships, motivation and responsibility, vertical communication, appearance and cleanliness, self-purification and example, sincerity, and patience. The concept of teacher service excellence through the interpretation approach of Surah al-Muddatstsir verses 1-7 has a worldly and spiritual function. In general, it is very relevant to modern teacher service excellence. This study investigates the effect of digital literacy and learning media utilization on student learning motivation at State Junior High School 01 Tanjungbumi Bangkalan Madura. The era of globalization emphasizes the need for education that involves digital literacy and utilization of learning media to improve the quality of student learning. Learning motivation, as the key to student success, is influenced by both factors. Digital literacy affects students' access to online learning resources and plays a role in improving their learning motivation. Learning media utilization involves technology in delivering information, creating a more engaging and interactive learning experience. In this study, digital literacy and learning media utilization are identified as factors that significantly influence students' learning motivation at State Junior High School 01 Tanjungbumi Bangkalan Madura. By identifying the influence of each factor, this study provides in-depth insight into the importance of integrating digital literacy and learning media to improve students' learning motivation in the digital era. This research has implications for increasing student learning motivation.

Pengaruh Model Pembeajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Team Achievement Division Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Tema 3 Subtema 2 Keberagaman Mahkluk Hidup di Lingkungan Ku Kelas Iv SD Negeri 122357 Pematang Siantar

This research aims to see the influence of the Student Team Achievement Division Type Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes Theme 3 Subtheme 2 Diversity of Living Creatures in My Environment Class IV of State Elementary School 122357 Pematang Siantar. This research used a type of Pre-Experimental Design research. The sample in this research was all 23 class IV students at SD Negeri 122357 Pematang Siantar. The sampling technique in this research uses nonprobability sampling with a saturated sample type. Saturated sampling is a sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. This is often done when the population is relatively small. Hypothesis testing is used to determine whether student learning outcomes using the STAD type cooperative learning model are more influential than students taught using conventional learning. So the t_count > t_table value uses a significance level of 0.05 and df=24, namely 17.294 > 1.711. This means that the learning model has an influence on learning outcomes in lesson material Theme 3 Subtheme 2 Diversity of Living Creatures in My Environment Class IV at SD Negeri 122357 Pematangsiantar. If the learning model is done well, it will greatly influence the quality of student learning in the classroom.

PENGUATAN BUDAYA LITERASI UNTUK PENINGKATAN MUTU BELAJAR SISWA SMPN KOTA BANDUNG

The problem that arises in this study is the low reading motivation for students in junior high school and the availability of non-learning books in schools is inadequate. The purpose of writing specifically is to examine the objectives and development programs of literacy culture, to know the implementation of the literacy culture program in learning in science and social studies subjects, to know the problems faced by teachers in implementing a culture of literacy, to know solutions and efforts to improve the literacy culture to improve student learning quality. The method used is descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The form of implementation of literacy activities is carried out in the form of reading 15 minutes, making journals, making book reviews, and redathon once a month. The implementation of strengthening literacy culture activities has been integrated into science and social studies subjects. Factors that hinder the strengthening of literacy culture in general students do not yet understand the importance of literacy, besides that tool and facilities are inadequate. The conclusion of the results of this study is that literacy activities have not been carried out optimally, this can be seen from the low percentage of student visits to the library

A Comprehensive Study on Biochar Production, Bibliometric Analysis, and Collaborative Teaching Practicum for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Islamic Schools

This research endeavors to assess the impact of additional practicum sessions and experimental demonstrations through video presentations on students' comprehension in an Islamic boarding school. The study focuses on enhancing students' understanding of the biochar concept, particularly its role as an adsorbent, aligning with contemporary issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and environmental problem-solving. To substantiate the research rationale, a concise literature review and bibliometric analysis were incorporated. The experiment involved comparing two classes – the experimental class, which received additional practicum and experimental demonstrations using videos, and the conventional class as the control group. The study included 45 students in Class XI of an Islamic boarding school. Learning outcomes were assessed through pre-test and post-test scores, as well as N-Gain calculations. The hypothesis was tested using the Paired Sample T-test. The practical aspect of the experiment involved carbonizing the skin of jengkol fruit to produce carbon, which was then utilized for adsorbing curcumin. The adsorption phenomena were observed and analyzed.The research findings demonstrated that the experimental demonstration method, particularly when complemented with video presentations, was more effective than conventional methods. This was evident from the N-Gain value of the experimental class and the results of statistical tests. The experimental demonstration method using videos is anticipated to enhance knowledge, provide a more authentic understanding and experience, and yield superior learning outcomes. These findings contribute valuable insights for future research on experimental demonstrations, emphasizing their potential to enhance the overall quality of student learning.

Self Regulated Learning: Its Role and Influence in Improving Student Achievement and Interest in Learning

At present, many students carry out learning activities without any planning and evaluation of their own learning. So that many students do assignments carelessly, submit assignments not on time and are late in attending lessons. This is because students have not been able to regulate themselves in learning which can affect students' low academic achievement. The purpose of this study is to improve student achievement and interest in learning through self-regulated learning. The method used by researchers in conducting this research is a quantitative method by distributing research questionnaires through google form. The results of this study have many important findings that self regulated learning can help students to improve their ability to learn and understand the material. The conclusion of this study explains that self-regulated learning plays an important role in improving students' achievement and interest in learning. Because it can make it easier for students to understand the lessons explained by the teacher. The limitation of this study is that researchers only surveyed certain students so it will be difficult to obtain appropriate data in choosing the ideal student learning method. The researcher hopes that future researchers can survey all students and not just certain students. This researcher also recommends to future researchers to be a benchmark in conducting research related to self-regulated learning and student learning quality

Optimalisasi E-Learning dengan Analisis Kelayakan Learning Management System TutorLMS untuk Startup Education Technology

The world of education should rightly be the spearhead of a country's progress, with its diversity of learning as well as the means of supporting education itself. With the rapid development of science and technology which requires education to collaborate with the latest technology, there are more and more digital-based and online educational methods and media, one of which is the Learning Management System. Due to the demand to improve the quality of learning for students and teachers, online tutoring companies such as Nurstech.id must have a learning management system that can accommodate all online learning activities by relying on a Learning Management System. TutorLMS was chosen as an online educational medium that can accommodate all the students' online tutoring needs. The feasibility analysis carried out is an optimization of the TutorLMS application, available features, and an increase in company resources. The resulting TutorLMS application is to facilitate teaching and learning activities carried out by students and teachers. Pengaruh Transformational Leadership, Kepuasan Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru PKBM XYZ dari Sudut Pandang Kristen

A teacher's performance can influence the quality of student learning at school. This is because teachers have an important role in the world of education. His words and behavior will be an example for the students he teaches. Students can feel that teachers do not give their best in preparing learning materials, complain easily, or are unable to work together with leaders. There are many factors that can influence teacher performance, namely type of leadership, job satisfaction, and work motivation. Research was conducted to determine whether there is a positive influence between transformational leadership, job satisfaction, and work motivation on teacher performance at PKBM XYZ. This research is quantitative research with 35 respondents using path analysis. The results of this research indicate that (1) transformational leadership has a positive effect on teacher performance, (2) there is little evidence that job satisfaction has a positive effect on teacher performance, (3) work motivation has a positive effect on teacher performance. The teacher performance variable can be explained by the variables transformational leadership, job satisfaction and work motivation by 21%.

In this case, researchers want to explain and describe the impact of School Policy Analysis to Improve the Internal Quality of Learning for Istiqlal Deli Tua Middle School Students. Istiqlal Deli Tua Middle School's policy in formulating its vision and mission shares the main focus on aspects of morality. Determining the direction of the vision and mission is influenced by close social interactions and the various backgrounds of students. The process of formulating policies at Istiqlal Deli Tua Middle School involves various parties, including internal schools, student parents, and other policy makers, in order to improve learning progress. This personal learning option as a school policy is not carried out without a reason, but rather is adjusted to the vision and mission that form the basis. learning system in the school. To realize this policy, the school has designed a management system and implementation guidelines that include regular, automatic activities and exemplary examples inside and outside the classroom. Building a Faculty-Led Study Abroad Program with Backward Design

Research has shown that high impact practices improve the quality of student learning, experience, retention, and academic success, particularly for underserved students. The teaching and learning practices that have been extensively tested and have been shown to be beneficial for college students include study abroad and field-based service-learning projects. In Summer 2019, a group of four undergraduate pre-service teachers at a Hispanic-serving university from the United States participated in a 10-day faculty-led Taiwan Study Abroad Program. One of the components of the program was a service-learning project – a 2-1/2-day English Language Camp in a Taiwanese elementary school. Using this study abroad program as a model, this article discusses how to develop and implement a program with the end in mind, including the respective academic preparation including the pre-travel, on-site, and post-travel assignments. The backward design framework provides instructors a planning structure and process to guide curriculum, assessment, and instruction.

Peran Media Audio Visual Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Belajar Siswa Mata Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam

The aim of this research is to determine the role of audio-visual media in improving the quality of learning for students studying Islamic Religious Education class VIII at Takhassus Al-Qur'an Middle School, Kalibeber. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative type. In this research, the techniques used for collecting data were observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects of the research used were class VIII Islamic Religious Education teachers and class VIII students at Takhassus Al-Qur'an Kalibeber Middle School. The results of the research show that the use of audio-visual media is very capable of improving the quality of student learning in Islamic Religious Education learning. During the learning process, students showed quite high interest in learning, then students were very enthusiastic about learning using audio-visual media. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media to improve the quality of student learning in Islamic Religious Education is quite effective, both in terms of attracting students' attention and increasing satisfactory learning outcomes.
