Peran Guru dan Pentingnya Menerapkan Karakter Jujur dan Disiplin di Sekolah

The research carried out provides an overview so that it can identify and instill honest and disciplined character education in students in elementary schools. Character education is an important aspect in forming children's personalities which will influence their behavior and attitudes in the future. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach at one of the Sangkanurip State Elementary Schools. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews with class teachers, as well as documentation related to learning activities. The research results show that class teachers use various strategies to instill the values ​​of honesty and discipline, including through daily habits, providing real examples, using moral stories, as well as positive and negative reinforcement. Daily habits are carried out through routine activities such as filling out an honesty journal and obeying class rules. Teachers also provide real examples through their own attitudes and behavior that consistently show responsibility, giving examples to students at school such as discipline so that children see it and will gradually follow the example.

Analysis of Education Character Policy to Realize Pancasila's Value to Elementary School Students

This research analyzes character education policies to realize Pancasila's values in elementary school students. Using qualitative methods with case studies at some primary schools in Surakarta, data was collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Research results show that character education policies are implemented through the integration of Pancasila values into curricula, extracurricular activities, and teacher training. Collaboration between schools and parents is also effective in supporting student character education. However, challenges such as resource constraints and different understandings of character education remain. In conclusion, a character education policy based on Pancasila can effectively shape the character of elementary school students, with sustained support from all sides.

Development Study of Technology-Based Adaptive Learning Modules for Students with Special Needs

This research aims to examine the development of effective technology-based adaptive learning modules to support the learning of students with special needs in the context of inclusive education. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this study identifies, evaluates and interprets evidence from previous research related to the development of adaptive modules. The results show that educational technology, particularly adaptive learning modules, has an important role in improving access and quality of education for students with special needs. The Effect of Supervisory Performance on The Quality of Mathematics Education In Grade II Students of EBC Turiscai

Improving the performance of supervisors and the quality of student education has a positive relationship because a maximum and good learning style will provide good quality education. The hypothesis of the supervisor performance variable (X) on the quality of education (Y) of students in Ensino Basico 3o Ciclo Turiscai shows that there is a positive and significant influence individually because the ttable > is 7,937> 2,000 then Ha is accepted. This means that better supervisor performance (X) will provide higher quality education for students at Ensino Basico 3o Ciclo Turiscai. From the results of the calculation of a simple regression correlation analysis, it shows that the coefficient (r) of 0.722 or 72.2% means that the supervisory performance variable (X) has a fairly close relationship or has a strong enough correlation with the variable Education quality (Y) in Ensino Basico 3o Ciclo Turiscai and the coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.521 or 52.1% means that the contribution or contribution of supervisor performance (X) is given to the variable Education quality (Y) of 0.521 or 52.1% while The remaining 47.9% was influenced by other factors. Based on the calculation results with a simple linear regression analysis model, the value is obtained that the supervisory performance variable (X) shows a unidirectional or positive regression coefficient value of 0.628 against the education quality variable (Y). This can be interpreted that the performance of supervisors (X) affects the quality of education (Y) by 0.628 or 62.8% in Ensino Basico 3o Ciclo Turiscai.

Improving The Ability of Vacational High School Teachers To Implement Student-Character Education Based on Local Cultural Wisdom

This community service project aims to increase the capacity of SMK Negeri 6 Seluma teachers to educate students' moral values/character based on local cultural wisdom. Community service activities were implemented through a mixed approach of lectures, discussions, and workshops such as forum group discussions, demonstrations, role plays, and panel group discussions. The implementation of community service activities carried out using these methods has made changes in the ability level of SMK Negeri 6 Seluma teachers in (1) mastering the concepts/theories of character education (planting approach, cognitive moral development approach, value analysis approach, value clarification approach, action learning approach, and value integrated approach); (2) identifying the moral character values of local cultural wisdom that are aligned with the moral character values in the teaching materials expected to be studied by students and aligned with the core competencies, basic competencies, and criteria in question; (3) analyzing the subject matter, core competencies, basic competencies, values, and panel group discussions for each grade level; (4) analyzing based on core competencies, basic competencies, panel group discussions, and local values cultural wisdom to be taught to students; and (5) compilation.

Interpretation Analysis of Educational Values in the Anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu (Assasination Classroom)

Anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu is an anime in the genre of action, comedy, drama and school, released in 2012 by Yusei Matsui. It tells the story of Kunugigaoka middle school, which is called the outcast class. This research aims to find out how character education can affect students in the school environment, and how to analyze the content of the story message using Ferdinand De Saussure's theory. This type of research is a type of qualitative research to obtain in-depth and meaningful data and uses data collection techniques in the form of literature studies that collect reading materials, library data, and others as references. This research is expected to provide an understanding of education, especially character education, and to dig deeper into the meaning and purpose of semiotics. Saussure's semiotics focuses on the relationship between signifier and signified based on an agreement called meaning. Based on the analysis of the anime Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, there are several character applications that can be applied in everyday life, namely responsibility, empathy, discipline, courage, cooperation, creativity and appreciation of students. In addition, it can be concluded that the anime tells the story of how a teacher should be a role model and inspirational for students. Teachers' Pedagogic Competence in Strengthening Character Education of Students in Elementary Schools : Exploring Effective Strategies

This study aims to explore effective strategies for improving teachers' pedagogical competence to strengthen learners' character education at the primary school level. The research method used was a literature study with a qualitative approach. Primary and secondary data were obtained from books, documents, and journals that were of the same relevance as this research. After the data was obtained, the data analysis technique for this research used content analysis. The results of the study found that teachers must master educational technology to improve teaching effectiveness and student engagement. It involved using digital tools for assessment, teaching, and communication with students and parents. Teachers needed to develop 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and communication. These skills were important to help students become individuals who are ready to face future challenges. Teachers should apply an adaptive pedagogical approach, tailoring teaching methods to students' individual needs, interests and abilities. It includes differentiated learning, formative assessment and the use of adaptive technology. Character education should be integrated in the curriculum by teaching universal and contextual values. A holistic approach, including project- and problem-based learning, is important to develop a strong student character relevant to modern challenges. Continuous professional training and development for teachers is key to ensuring they are up-to-date with best practices and innovations in education. Analisis Implementasi Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam Membentuk Karakter Siswa Kelas V SDN 2 Balerejo

Education is a process of developing all aspects of human life including knowledge, skills and character values. Western paradigms that enter Indonesia need to be sorted out, especially cultural deviations and Pancasila values. Strengthening character education seeks to shape student character to integrate Pancasila values, in order to create a generation with character, nationalist spirit, and global competence. The independent curriculum aims to realize Pancasila students through the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile which is divided into six dimensions, namely faith, devotion to God Almighty and noble character, critical thinking, global diversity, independence, creativity, and mutual cooperation. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of student character education at SDN 2 Balerejo was carried out through learning activities, extracurricular activities, habituation, and the Student Character Education Strengthening Project. Supporting factors include school commitment, parental support and active student participation. However, there are some obstacles such as the lack of literacy, students' interest and willingness, and the low role of parents. This study suggests increasing school program innovation, improving parental support, and optimizing the learning process. Thus, it is expected that the Pancasila Student Profile can effectively shape students' character in accordance with the values of Pancasila and can be actualized in daily activities.

Etika Guru Menurut Imam Ibnu Jama’ah As-Syafi’i Dalam Kitab Tadzkirotus Sami Wal Mutakallimi Fi Adabil Alim Wal Muta’alim

The importance of good teacher ethics in the educational process is able to create a positive and productive educational environment that can affect academic learning, moral and social development for students. This research aims to: 1) find out the intraksi between teachers and students according to the book tadzkirotus sami' wal mutakallim fi adabil alim wal muta'alim; 2) knowing good teacher manners so that they are channeled and can set an example as a good example for students; 3) knowing the internal and external factors that can contribute to the teacher so that there is a misappropriation that affects the image of the teacher. This study uses a strong research approach where the type of research is library research. The results of this study show that: 1) good interaction between teachers and students in the book tadzkirotus sami' wal mutakallim fi adabil alim wal muta'alim, one of which is by sincerely intending to seek the pleasure of Allah SWT, patience, and gentleness. In addition, students are taught to always be polite to anyone, as well as interact positively which is emphasized to form relationships full of moral and ethical values. 2) Good teacher ethics can certainly create a positive and productive learning environment, including professionalism and providing a good example to form a good character in students. 3) Internal factors include a lack of ethical awareness and emotional pressure, then external factors, namely economic demands and lack of supervision that can result in the emergence of unethical behavior. To prevent these abuses, it is necessary to increase ethical leadership and increase supervision of character education for teachers and students.

Implementasi Sistem Boarding School dalam Membentuk Kepribadian Siswa pada Yayasan Pendidikan Islam Matholi’ul Huda Troso (Madrasah Aliyah dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah)

Boarding school is an effective educational environment to instill character education for students. The boarding school system at YPI Matholi'ul Huda Troso is quite conducive for students and/or santri to focus on their education. Therefore, this study analyzes the implementation of the Boarding school system in shaping students' personalities at YPI Matholi'ul Huda Troso. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection techniques are in the form of interviews with teachers, ustadzh/ustdzah, and students and/or santri as well as observation to see the daily activities of the YPI Matholi'ul Huda Troso boarding school environment. The results of this study indicate that implementation of the Boarding school system in shaping students' personalities at YPI Matholi'ul Huda Troso shws positive results in shaping student’s personalities such as discipline, independence, responsibility, social interaction, faith, and leadership show significant improvment. By integrating academic and non academic life in one controlled environment, this system ensures that every aspect of student life is aligned with the vision and mission of the madrasah. Thus, learning character values is not only at the cognitive level, but also touches on internalization and real practice in daily life.

Analysis of Teachers' Difficulties in Instilling the Character of Discipline and Responsibility of Elementary School Students After Covid 19

Learning is now changing to face-to-face learning after previously being carried out online for more than a year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Direct learning after the pandemic has greatly affected the formation of student character, especially in terms of responsibility and discipline. This descriptive qualitative research aims to explain the difficulties and solutions of teachers in instilling discipline and responsibility values in students at SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta after the COVID-19 pandemic. The resource person was a grade II teacher of SD Muhammadiyah 3 Surakarta. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity tests are performed using data source triangulation techniques and method triangulation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the research found by researchers can be concluded that: first, there are difficulty factors that hinder teachers in an effort to instill discipline character education and responsibility in students, including: lack of student learning motiivation, diverse student characters, situations and conditions of the new normal period, student absorption, lack of cooperation between parents and educators. Abstract Character education is the most important to be internalized in children, especially in this millenial era. Drum band extracurricular activities that are mostly liked by students can be an activity to internalize the character of the discipline. The purpose of this research is to explain the character education of students through drum band extracurricular activities at MI Salafiyah Kalirandu Pemalang. The method used by researchers is descriptive field research using a qualitative approach. The results of this study are (a) Character education in extracurricular drum band runs with reference to school work programs, training activities include the formation and development of character values, as well as monitoring and evaluation by the Principal, Coaches, and Trainers. (b) Character value education in this activity includes faith, honesty, discipline, hard work, independence, friendship, and responsibility. (c) The driving factor for this activity is good cooperation between the Principal, presenters, supervising teachers, and parents. Development of A Drama Text Writing Module Based On Character Education for Students Junior High School

This research aims to produce a drama text writing module based on character education for students at SMP Negeri 1 Batang Angkola. The research method used is the Research and Development research method which refers to the Borg and Gall model. The process of developing teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education is carried out in three stages, namely the preliminary study stage, initial product development and product testing. The results of material expert validation on content suitability obtained an average of 88% in the very good category, the presentation feasibility aspect obtained an average of 84.33% in the very good category and the language assessment obtained an average of 82.5% in the very good category. for graphic assessment by design experts, an average of 80.08% was obtained in the good category. Individual trials obtained an average percentage of 79.77 in the "good" category. Small group trials obtained an average percentage of 85.96 in the "very good" category. Limited field trials obtained an average percentage of 91.87 in the "very good" category. Based on these data, teaching materials that are suitable for teachers and students to use in learning are obtained. Teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education were declared effective in generating student activity and learning outcomes. This is proven by tests on student learning outcomes in writing drama texts. At the pretest the average was 69 and at the posttest the average was 80. The difference between the pretest and the posttest was 11%, which indicated that learning using teaching materials for writing drama texts based on character education was better than before.

Developing Student Character Education Through Islamic Boarding School Culture In Islamic Elementary Schools

Many problems occur in the world of education, especially moral (character) crises among students, some of which are violence between students, promiscuity, free sex, and drugs. School participation is really needed to deal with the problems that occur, and teachers are the main spearheads in the process of forming student character at school. This research aims to develop character education through Islamic boarding school culture in Islamic elementary schools. This type of research is qualitative research using a phenomenological approach with the aim of describing, understanding, and interpreting the phenomena that occur. This research was conducted at an Islamic school located on Sumenep Island. The reason the researcher conducted research at an Islamic elementary school was that this school was unique in implementing Islamic boarding school culture into the school environment. The research subjects used a purposive sampling technique because the target informants met the research objective criteria. The informants in this research were school principals, religious teachers, and students. Data collection techniques in this research used semi-structured interviews and non-participant observation. Data analysis in this research uses Miles and Huberman's theory, which includes data collection, data consolidation, data display, and drawing conclusions or data verification. The research results show that Islamic boarding schools are one of the educational institutions in Indonesia that contribute to developing the character of students in the form of culture and can be applied at the elementary, middle, and high school levels by internalizing the process of instilling attitudes within oneself through coaching and guidance. This research aims to analyze how student development assessment and character education are implemented in the Independent Curriculum in Elementary Schools. The method used in this research is qualitative research with case studies in several elementary schools that use the independent curriculum in Central Ternate City District, Ternate City. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that student development assessments focus more on individual progress and potential in the learning context. This approach also integrates character education in learning and assessment. Character education is not only through special subjects, but also in daily tasks and interactions at school. The Merdeka Curriculum in Elementary Schools applies a holistic approach to assessment that supports students' personal development. Thus, character education is an important part of this curriculum to help students develop positive values ​​and behavior in everyday life. The challenges that arise include the need for teacher training to integrate character education in learning and consistent assessment.

The mediating role of cognitive test anxiety on the relationship between academic procrastination and subjective wellbeing and academic performance.

Promoting wellness as a predictor of sustainable development empowers schools to model healthy behavior. The multiple interactions in real and virtual environments that today's youth are subjected to force schools to explore effective educational strategies to provide a quality education for students and their families. This study examines the relationship between academic procrastination, assessment anxiety, subjective wellbeing, and academic performance. A convenience sample of 322 undergraduate students () was used, and questionnaires were administered to students measuring academic procrastination, cognitive test anxiety, and subjective wellbeing. For the same target group, the level of academic performance was identified using personal reports. The questionnaires were administered between May and June 2023 in an online format. For the data analysis, we applied correlational analysis and path analysis using. Both test anxiety and academic procrastination negatively correlate with performance and subjective wellbeing, leading to decreased performance and subjective wellbeing. Procrastination correlates positively with test anxiety. Cognitive test anxiety partially mediated the relationship between academic procrastination and subjective wellbeing and fully mediated the relationship between academic procrastination and academic performance. Thus, high procrastination leads to decreased performance and subjective wellbeing both directly and indirectly through increased test anxiety, leading to decreased performance and subjective wellbeing. As a result of theoretical and practical investigations, it emerges that joint action of educational actors is required in the generation of effective educational strategies for the prevention and control of procrastination and evaluation anxiety, given the fact that both a high level of procrastination as well as assessment anxiety led to the decrease of students' wellbeing, to the registration of low academic performances. In the long term, disruptive behavior (procrastination and anxious behavior) could generate low social and professional performance, which is a research question for a future longitudinal study.

Community Service (PKM) is a form of implementation of the tridharma of higher education carried out by lecturers in the community. For students, this is one of the mandatory courses that must be taken to train them to apply the knowledge and skills they already have in the learning process according to their respective fields of study. This PKM activity aims to improve the quality of education for students at SD Negeri 173144 Silangkitang, Sipahutar Village through more useful activities, such as tutoring and games that can increase knowledge and cooperation between children in the school environment. The method used in collecting data is as follows: conducting a survey to find out the number of students in the school then recruiting tutoring participants, then tutoring activities are carried out once a week, namely on Fridays, starting at 14.00-16.00 WIB. The PKM implemented at SD Negeri 173144 Silangkitang aims to improve student academic achievement through the provision of study guidance. Apart from that, this program also aims to foster students' interest in learning by using interesting and interactive learning methods. Although a new activity, tutoring is not unfamiliar to this environment, demonstrating awareness of the importance of education to improve the quality of learning. Throughout the implementation, participants not only demonstrated extraordinary enthusiasm but also consistency with punctual attendance, reflecting their dedication to the learning process.

Application of Class-Based Characteristic Economic Teaching Materials for High School Students in Singkawang City

This research uses a Design Based Research (DBR) approach to develop and test Economics teaching materials with the dimension of strengthening character education for high school students in Singkawang City. The aim of this research is to produce teaching materials that not only increase understanding of economic material, but also help students internalize character values that are relevant to social, cultural and economic change. The problem faced is how to create effective and relevant teaching materials in the context of ongoing changes. The method used includes field trials with an experimental design, where the teacher applies the developed teaching materials in the learning process. The test subjects were high school students in Singkawang City, with data collected through observation and tests. Data analysis uses qualitative analysis for the field test implementation process and the Wilcoxon Test to determine the effectiveness of teaching material products. Specific results showed significant improvements in student learning outcomes, with an average pre-test score of 43.63 increasing to 55.35 in the post-test. In general, the results of this research show that teaching materials with character are effective in improving economic learning outcomes and shaping the character of students. In conclusion, the application of economic teaching materials based on strengthening character education can prepare students to become the golden generation of 2045 who excel in skills, competence and character.
