Some confusion still exists regarding the indications for such procedures and the interpretation of their results.The present report deals with two years' experience with such biopsy technics as applied to the diagnosis of intrathoracic diseases encountered in an 800-bed military hospital, an installation which includes a pulmonary disease center.
