Evaluasi Kandungan Hasil Pengolahan Limbah Cair pada Unit Effluent Treatment Pabrik III B PT. Petrokimia Gresik

Fertilizer is a supporter of the country's food security, the government through State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), one of which is PT Petrokimia Gresik, which is the most complete and largest fertilizer producer in Indonesia which produces several wastes, one of which is industrial wastewater. The existence of liquid waste is not expected in the environment because it has no economic value, therefore the need for waste treatment is very important. PT Petrokimia Gresik uses physical processing and chemical processing. PT Petrokimia Gresik has a wastewater treatment plant with a series of processes consisting of 2 effluent treatment units, equalizer, line injection, Urea Plant hydrolizer stripper, and sludge treatment. The parameters analyzed were Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Suspended Solid (TSS), Ammonia (NH3), Total Kjehdal Nitrogen (TKN), Fluoride, Degree of Acidity (pH), Oil and Fat. After conducting the research, the results of the analysis showed that the effluent pollutant load data was at the quality standards regulated in regulations. However, it was found that the results of TKN (Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen) or the amount of bound nitrogen in an organic substance varied.

Program Corporate Social Responsibility PT. Petrokimia Gresik

The role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in improving community welfare is the focus of this research, which is influenced by the relationship between companies and communities that develop along with the development and civilization of society. This study aims to determine the role of Corporate Social Responsibility for community welfare in its implementation. The activity stages were designed for 1 day, preceded by coordination activities. The CSR program in the economic field for the community around PT Petrokimia Gresik is by distributing Ramadan groceries in 8 villages around PT Petrokimia Gresik, namely Kroman Village, Tlogopojok, Roomo, Lumpur, Sukorame, Karangpoh, Karangturi, and Ngipik.

Optimalisasi Program CSR PT Petrokimia Gresik Pada Penyaluran Bantuan Masjid, Musala, Pondok Pesantren, Dan Panti Asuhan Untuk Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Sekitar Perusahaan

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, namely a company program whose implementation has influence or benefits, social and environmental responsibility for the community around the company to stakeholders. Research on community service aims to identify optimization of one of PT Petrokimia Gresik's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Community Development unit programs, namely, the distribution of donations to mosques, prayer rooms, Islamic boarding schools, and orphanages to empower the community around the company. Assistance was provided in Gresik, Kebomas and Manyar sub-districts. The total funding assistance for 134 houses of worship and social institutions reached IDR 632,500,000. By using a qualitative descriptive method, because the research focus is to describe and provide an overview of the information on the object being studied. The research that has been done has shown that the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, namely, the distribution of donations to mosques, prayer rooms, Islamic boarding schools and orphanages has been running effectively. Because the beneficiary community feels helped and useful for their needs. This program is also aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 9, namely Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.

AN ANALYSIS OF UNSCHEDULE SHUTDOWN TOWARD ROTARY EQUIPMENT BLOWER ENGINE 18C3101-2 BY ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS (RCA) METHOD (Case Study in PT. Petrokimia Gresik)

AbstactPT Petrokimia Gresik is a fertilizer manufacturer assigned by the Government to produce and distribute subsidized and non-subsidized fertilizers. The NPK 3 unit is the place where production be held. However, within March - June 2019 there was significant amount of decreasing fertilizer production caused by Rotary equipment malfunction. This occurrence caused unscheduled shutdown. PT Petrokimia Gresik experienced loss in many breakdown units. The objection of this study is to determine the factors causing the breakdown of 18C3101-2 blower engine in NPK 3 unit and to create the most effective solution to be applied while overcoming the 18C3101-2 blower engine breakdown in the NPK 3 unit. Problem of this study is what caused a breakdown of the 18C3101-2 blower engine in the NPK unit. This research applies the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) method. The result shows that using the Fishbone Diagram approach figuring out the main problem caused troubleshooting of 18C3101-2 blower engine due to a clogged spray nozzle, the main cause of a clogged spray nozzle was the initial setting of spray nozzle pipe installation inefficient. ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTS OF FERTILIZER ON THE QUALITY OF THE MUSTARD PLANT (BRASSICA CHENENSIS L) USING REGRESSION LOGISTICS METHOD

Based on the existing problems related to the trial of fertilizer produced by PT Petrokimia Gresik with the ZA variant on pakcoy plants with polybag, this study aimed to determine the best fertilizer for mustard pakcoy and the relationship between root length, plant height, number of leaves and plant weight due to ZA variation of fertilizer application. The research was carried out at the Greenhouse of the Research Department of PT Petrokimia Gresik in January 2022. This study was visualized between the variables and processed using the binary logistic regression method. The data obtained was then processed using three tools, namely Jupyter notebook, Power BI, and Rstudio. The results showed that the relationship between root length, body weight had a different relationship with treatment and the number of leaves that were not in the same direction with good treatment for mustard pakcoy with polybag media was behavior B, where B contained 2,000 kg of Petroganic fertilizer, 400 kg of NPK, Urea NPBPT (2) 300kg.

PENGUNGKAPAN SDGs PADA LAPORAN KEBERLANJUTAN PT PETROKIMIA GRESIK BERDASARKAN STANDAR GLOBAL REPORTING INITIATIVE (GRI) PERIODE 2018-2020

This study aims to disclose the sustainability performance reporting of PT Petrokimia Gresik in 2018-2020 contributing to the SDG program achievement, and to disclose the sustainability performance reporting based on 2016 Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. This study employs qualitative case study approach and includes secondary data of PT Petrokimia Gresik's 2018-2020 sustainability report accessible from the company's official website. In analyzing the problem, this study utilizes content analysis to thoroughly disclose the sustainability report. The results of this study revealed that the sustainability performance of PT Petrokimia Gresik contributing to the SDG achievement changed annually indicating 31.95%, 31.36%, 33.73% from 2018 to 2020 respectively. Based on the 2016 GRI Standards, the 2018 and 2019 disclosure percentages of PT Petrokimia Gresik were included in Partially-Applied category representing 75.91% and 75.30%, respectively, whilst, in 2020 the disclosure reached 90,89%, making it included in the Well-Applied category.

DAILY DATA VISUALIZATION OF PLANT III PT PETROKIMIA GRESIK VIA DASHBOARD UP DATE

Dashboard is a visual display, numbers and metrics containing all the data that aims to provide information and help users to make the right and fast decisions based on existing data. From here, the idea of a project Up To Date Dashboard "BODATE" came about. A dashboard designed with the concept of Less Input, More Output. The dashboard will continue to be updated and changed every day based on production data and existing field realizations. This dashboard includes an observation of the performance of achieving the production targets of each unit, realization, stock of raws materials and products as well as consumption of raw materials for each unit. The result of this "BODATE" Up To Date Dashboard is that it overcomes the difficulty of finding relationships between data, and the set of daily report numbers that are constantly changing every day just by turning it into a unique but still efficient data visualization display in terms of time. The purpose of this "BODATE" Up To Date Dashboard is to create fast and efficient data visualization in order to overcome problems that exist in the Department of Production Planning and Energy Management (PPPE) and can be implemented, especially in the Work Unit of Planning and Control (Rendal) Production Plant III PT Petrokimia Gresik.

The Effect of Remuneration, Work Environment, and Employee Welfare Programs on Work Productivity at PT Petrokimia Kayaku

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of remuneration on work productivity, the effect of the work environment on work productivity, the effect of employee welfare programs on work productivity, the effect of the three factors mentioned above on work productivity and to find out which variables have the most influence on work productivity. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. In this study, data and information were obtained from respondents using a questionnaire. Types of data sources used in this study, namely quantitative data. The data analysis technique in this study used basic statistics, namely descriptive analysis. Based on the results of the calculation of the t-test table (table 18) it can be seen that the confidence level is 0.05 and the t-table value is 2.05, the calculated remuneration value is 8.042 and the probability value of t-value is 0.000 means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, then this means that remuneration has a significant effect on employee productivity. From the results of the analysis, it is known that the remuneration variable consisting of elements of work standards, working time, number of products, product quality and increasing work ability, each has a significant effect on work productivity variables.

PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF HEAT EXCHANGER AT PHOSPHATE ACID CONCENTRATED UNIT PT PETROCHEMICAL GRESIK

PT Petrokimia Gresik is the most complete fertilizer producing company and also produces fertilizer raw materials such as phosphoric acid. The process technology used in this company is Nissan C Process. One of the steps in this process is the phosphoric acid concentration unit. This unit consists of several steps such as evaporation, cooling, and fluorine scrubber. In the evaporation process, the most important equipment is the heat exchanger. As time goes by, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of this equipment. So, this case study aims to evaluate the performance of the heat exchanger, including the pressure of the heat exchanger the allowable pressure also to calculate the efficiency of the heat exchanger to determine whether the equipment is still suitable for use or not. Based on the calculation and analysis, obtained the pressure drop on the shell is 0.8817 psi, the pressure drop on the tube is 4.549 psi, and the efficiency of the equipment is 82.7%. So, it can be concluded that the heat exchanger used by PT Petrokimia Gresik is still suitable for use.

PENGARUH CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) TERHADAP CORPORATE REPUTATION, WORD OF MOUTH DAN CUSTOMER TRUST

Pada akhir tahun 2019 yang lalu mulai terjadi pandemi global yang menghantam seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Hal ini rupanya turut mempengaruh indeks kepercayan konsumen. Keyakinan konsumen terhadap kondisi ekonomi saat ini melemah seiring melemahnya penghasilan dan ketersediaan lapangan kerja yang menurun. Adanya problematika terkait penurunan tingkat kepercayaan konsumen tersebut akan sangat merugikan bagi perusahaan apabila tidak segera di pikirkan solusinya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh corporate social responsibility terhadap corporate reputation, word of mouth dan customer trust serta pengaruh corporate reputation dan word of mouth terhadap customer trust.
 Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis jenis penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian kausal. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah konsumen PT Petrokimia Gresik (PG) yang berjumlah 344 orang, sedangkan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 185 orang. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan statistik inferensial, yaitu analisis yang ditujukan untuk membuktikan hipotesis dengan menggunakan structural equation modelling – AMOS.
 Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa corporate social responsibility memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap corporate reputation, word of mouth dan consumer trust. Kemudian corporate reputation dan word of mouth juga terbukti berpengaruh signifikan terhadap consumer trust.

PENGARUH KEPEMIMPINAN, KARAKTERISTIK PEKERJAAN DAN KEMAMPUAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PT PETROKIMIA GRESIK

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership, job characteristics and work ability on the performance of employees of PT Petrokimia Gresik Medan. The data collected in this study were primary data and secondary data, which were collected through data collection instruments in the form of questionnaires, interviews and documentation studies. The sample in this study were 45 respondents. This study uses quantitative data, with multiple linear regression method. The test results show that partially the leadership variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job characteristics variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The work ability variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously, the variables of leadership, job characteristics and work ability have a positive and significant effect on company performance. The Role of Green Accounting in Efforts to Prevent Environmental Pollution to Support Business Continuity

This study aims to describe and explain the application of green accounting in helping business continuity at PT Petrokimia Gresik. This research is based on the fact that most companies are still less concerned about environmental pollution problems and only prioritize profits without paying attention to their surroundings and stakeholders. This research method uses qualitative, data collection is carried out by in-depth interviews, documentation of company reports or files that are directly related to environmental costs, then the last is observation. This is done by observing the state of the company to be studied. The data analysis method used interpretive analysis with testing the validity of the data (triangulation) and theory. The results of this study indicate that PT Petrokimia Gresik is still at a level that is not optimal in implementing the application of environmental costs (green accounting) in terms of identifying, recognizing, measuring and disclosing environmental costs for waste management. The company incurs costs regarding environmental conservation, but the company's treatment of these costs is still included in the factory overhead costs. Environmental costs must be reported separately, in the sense of being categorized alone rather than combining them with other costs. The company is still grouping it with other costs so that the environmental costs do not appear in the financial statements. As a result, the environmental costs are hidden.

Bibliometric Study on Metalurgi : Majalah Ilmu Dan Teknologi Published During 2016-2020

This bibliometric studied Metalurgi : Majalah Ilmu dan Teknologi, a serial publication managed by Metallurgical and Materials Research Center LIPI. The data were observed through https://ejurnalmaterialmetalurgi.lipi.go.id/, taking a period from 2016-2020 publications. The data collected and recorded were the number of articles each year, the number of authors, the authors' affiliations, the city where the author works, the most productive authors, and keywords. The data was processed using Ms. Excel and the results of data processing were displayed in table form with the percentage of each variable studied. The study showed that during 2016 - 2020 the Metallurgical Journal published 78 articles, with the highest number of articles written in collaboration with 4 people (17 titles; 21.79%) and at least written collaboratively by 7 people (8 titles; 10.25%). There were 10 articles written individually (12.82%). The mean value of the degree of collaboration is C = 0.87. Efendi Mabruri is the most productive writer with producing 10 titles, the most research institution contributing was LIPI with a frequency of 58 (84.06%), while the most productive college is Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, 24 (30.76%), and other institutions that contributed to the writing were the Ministry of Industry and PT Petrokimia Gresik. Most authors were living in Tangerang, which is 62 (37.57%). Most keywords are microstructure 15 times (3.51%) and keywords containing Nickel words are 4 (0.95%) Nickel Alloys, Nickel Orees 2 (0.47%), Nickel Plating 2 (0.47%), and Nickel Hydroxide 1 (0.23%).

Accounting Information System for Non-Subsidized Fertilizer Sales at PT Petrokimia Gresik

Nowadays, knowledge is essential in all aspects of human life. Decisions need to consider information. The higher the quality of knowledge, the more effective the decision-making. The objectives this study are to analyze the accounting information system of on-subsidized fertilizer sales Petrokimia Gresik. This study uses a qualitative method, and the scope of analysis focuses on the non-subsidized fertilizer sales accounting information system. The data acquired from observation and documentation. The data collection from preliminary surveys, literature studies, and field surveys, then analyzed using flowcharts. The results of this research propose a new flowchart that uses an input-process-output method for the non-subsidized fertilizer sales accounting information system. This research shows that in other organizations with unique characteristics, the suggested systematic approach can be applied.

Mixed Integer Linear Programming as a Method for Evaluation of Location and Number of Buffer Warehouse in PT Petrokimia Gresik Distribution System (Case Study: West Java and Central Java)

The new policy issued by PT Pupuk Indonesia regarding the change of the responsible party for the procurement and the distribution of subsidized NPK fertilizers affected the subsidy allocation for PT Petrokimia Gresik, as the only company to conduct the procurement and distribution of the subsidized NPK fertilizer. It is now partially charged to the other holding members such as PT Kujang Cikampek, PT Pupuk Sriwidjaja, and PT Pupuk Kaltim. Also, all members of PT Pupuk Indonesia should face the reduction of subsidy allocation from Indonesia Government. PT Petrokimia Gresik also have to deal with Phonska V project plan in order to increase capacity of NPK fertilizer. Those policies are most significantlty impactful to the decrease of subsidy allocation in West Java. Besides, Central Java, a branch area of PT Petrokimia Gresik which has the biggest number of total capacity and fixed cost, should reevaluate the number and location of the buffer warehouse. This paper is aimed to explain the methodology using Mixed integer Linear Programming (MILP) in determining the optimal number and location of buffer warehouse in West Java and Central Java in response to the policies and the project plan. Firstly, the distribution system of NPK subsidized fertilizer are described. Next, previous researches about MILP and forecasting method applied in distribution system problem is explained. After that, related data and several conditions that are applied based on actual situation are shown. It can be deducted that MILP is an optimal method for the evaluation as it fits to the characteristic and condition of distribution system in PT Petrokimia Gresik.

The Use of PT Petro Kimia’s by-Product Gypsum as Fill Materials

Gypsum is a by-product of the Phosphoric Acid factory PT Gresik Petrochemicals; it is produced around 1,200,000 tons/year. In order to reduce the amount, an effort needed to use gypsum as fill materials. For this purpose, the problem needs to be considered is that gypsum should not contain substances that harmful to the environment and meet the fill materials requirements. In order to answer all these questions, chemical tests were carried out to determine its heavy metal content. Gypsum plasticity and its particle size distribution were determined by conducting Atterberg limit and sieve analysis tests. Compaction test and CBR test were also carried out to determine the density and its strength. Those results were then analyzed using "The Fifteen Point Method" to obtain a relationship curve between dry density (d) and soaked-CBR. This curve was important to determine the soaked-CBR that can be achieved by gypsum materials in the field with different compaction energy 90%, 95%, and 100% of maximum compaction energy. Chemical test result shows that all heavy metals content in gypsum material are far below the regulatory limit; therefore, it is safe for the environment. Besides, Gypsum is non-plastic (NP) material and it is classified as A-4 (AASHTO) or SM (USCS); it means that Gypsum is very good for fill materials and safe to the environment. In addition, the result from the Fifteen Point Method shows that the minimum soaked CBR value is 13% achieved by using 90% of maximum compaction energy with 30-40 % of water content. It means that the gypsum material can be used as selected fill material because it fulfils its requirement where IP10%.

Integrated Modelling of In-Bag Fertilizer Handling Process and Forklift Needs to Reduce Waste in Sales Warehouses of PT Petrokimia Gresik

PT. Petrokimia Gresik is one of the most outstanding fertilizer manufacturers with 5 sales warehouses. The Company organizes its distribution system to ensure adequate distribution to the right target. To plan the process of handling in-bag fertilizer, resources such as contract workers, forklifts, and trucks are needed. However, there are numerous wastes associated with the handling process, which is shown by forklift idle time due to the bagging, handling, and loading processes. Therefore, this research identifies the waste that occurs using the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) method with the 5 why’s tool. This research also uses simulation to analyze and validate the recommendations. Data obtained through questionnaires showed that waste occurs due to waiting time by 28.2% and unnecessary motion by 22.7%. The described Process Activity Mapping (PAM) tools show that fertilizer delivery has cycle times of 9030 seconds, with value-added activities of 66%. The analysis of 5 why’s tools shows that the low handling speed causes waste at the bagging and loading processes and the unnecessary motion of forklift-3. The recommendations according to the future state Value Stream Mapping (VSM) are adding the contract worker in the bagging process, removing forklift-3, and adding the contract worker in the loading process. Therefore, the value-added activity increases to 75.8% and accelerates the delivery cycle time to 7733 seconds. The validation results using the simulation shows that forklift-3 can be eliminated because it has a low utilization value of 16.4%, merging the activity of sewing services of 3% with a decrease in transfer time from 7.9 hours to 2.9 hours for one delivery cycle. In conclusion, the removal of all forklift-3 in 5 sales warehouse results shows that the company can save rental costs by Rp.4,772,376,000/year.

Waste Reduction in Electrical Production Process in PT Petrokimia Gresik Coal Utility Using Value Stream Mapping and FMEA Applications

Unit Utilitas Batu Bara (UBB) is one of the power plants owned by PT Petrokimia Gresik which began operating in 2010. UBB consists of a steam boiler with a capacity of 2x150 tons per hour and a power plant with a capacity of 25 megawatt. There is waste in the electricity production process at UBB which is indicated by the value of actual efficiency is low compared to the value of efficiency in the design and performance test. This research discusses efforts to reduce waste in the process of steam and electricity production in UBB by making value stream mapping, identifying waste, conducting root cause analysis, and making FMEA. Through data collection and processing, interviews with expert employees at UBB, as well as comparing reference activities and actual activities, obtained that waste occurs in coal out from coal mill, boiler water, and boiler efficiency. Through analysis 5 whys, obtained fifteen root causes of waste. Through the calculation of events, severity, and detection the risk priority number is obtained. Based on the existing critical risks, through the collection of FMEA worksheets, an estimate of actions to reduce waste that occurred at UBB was obtained. The results showed that all total waste obtained was Rp. 126,364,598.13 / day in UBB. By asking for alternative improvements, a potential savings value of Rp.74,436,596 / day is obtained.

A Comparative Analysis of Environmental Management System Implementation in Fertilizer Industries: Case Study of PT Pupuk Kaltim, PT Pupuk Kujang, and PT Petrokimia Gresik

Considering Indonesia as an agricultural country, it certainly needs a support to have an adequate supply of fertilizer. Currently, the development of the fertilizer industry in Indonesia is quite rapid. Due to a large demand of fertilizers, the fertilizer industry is trying to provide good quality products to ensure customer’s satisfaction. In addition to improving product quality, fertilizer producers in Indonesia also strive to environmental management system aspects as an effort to implement ISO 14001:2015. The objective of this study is to analyze the comparison of environmental management system implementation among fertilizer producers in Indonesia, namely PT Pupuk Kaltim, PT Pupuk Kujang, and PT Petrokimia Gresik. The three fertilizer producers were chosen since they had already received ISO 14001: 2015 certification. The method used in this study is a qualitative method by analyzing and interpreting the data that has been obtained. The results show that the implementation strategies in environmental management carried out by the three fertilizer producers are not much different, almost all of them have the same strategy in terms of environmental management. However, PT Pupuk Kaltim has superiority in environmental management compared to its competitors, it is proven by the achievement of the PROPER gold at three consecutive years, while PT Pupuk Kujang and PT Petrokimia Gresik merely achieved the PROPER green category.
