Pengaruh Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru PAK terhadap Karakter Siswa Kelas XI Tata Busana SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti Kabupaten Toba Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The purpose of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of the personality competence of PAK teachers on the character of students in class XI of cosmetology of SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, Toba Regency for the 2023/2024 learning year, with the hypothesis that there is a positive and significant influence of the influence of the personality competence of PAK teachers on the character of students in class XI of cosmetology of SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, Toba Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. With a population of all students in class XI of Fashion Management of SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti who are Protestant Christians totaling 90 people with a sample of 60 people so that this study uses descriptive methods with cluster sampling techniques. Data were collected with a 54-item closed questionnaire prepared by the author based on variable indicators according to expert theory. The questionnaire test was conducted on 30 respondents of Class XI of Fashion Management 1 SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti Toba Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year using 54 questionnaire items and after being tested the results of the validity of the questionnaire test were known to be the value of rcount> rtable = 0.142-0.604 (there are 8 items of question items that have a validity of less than rtable 0.361 so that invalid questionnaires are discarded). Thus the valid questionnaire amounted to 46 question items. And the reliability of the questionnaire test which is at a value of 0.607. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive influence and significant between the Personality Competence of PAK Teachers on the Character of Students in Class XI of Fashion Management at SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, Toba Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. With the relationship test obtained rcount> rtable, namely 0.343>0.254, with a significant relationship test tcount> ttable, namely 3.654>2.000, with a linear regression test = α + bx = 26.98 + 0.248X. This equation shows that in a constant state of 26.98, for each addition of variable X (Teacher Personality Competence) by one unit, there will be an addition to variable Y (Student Character) of 0.248 from (variable X), the coefficient of determination is 11.76%. This means that Ho is rejected and Ha, accepted. Significant test of influence with Fcount>Ftabel (7.752>4.00) means that there is a positive and significant influence between the Personality Competence of PAK Teachers on the Character of Students in Class XI of Fashion Management at SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, Toba Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. This study suggests that teachers should always improve their Personality Competence as a PAK Teacher, so that the Character of Students in Class XI of Fashion Management at SMK Negeri 1 Laguboti, Toba Regency in the 2023/2024 Learning Year will be better.

A Luang-Szigetek helyi bölcsessége: A ‘Hygeralay’ történeti aspektusai

This research aims to identify hygeralai from a historical aspect as one of the local types of local knowledge that lives in the indigenous community of Luang Island, Maluku Province, Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative research method with a historical approach. Data collection techniques in this research through in-depth interviews, field observations and literature studies. The analysis technique used in this research is historical analysis. The results of field research show that the etymology of hygeralai began as a sign of identity, a sign of ownership, a sign of territorial boundaries and used by the ancestors of Luang Island at that time. In its development, it underwent changes related to several attributes and organization when Protestant Christianity entered. The results of exploration in the field show that the etymology of hygeralai is also influenced by the environment and geography. This is evidenced by its affiliation with one of the plants that grow on Luang Island, the koli tree. From this affiliation material, it is also important to display the position of Luang Island in the division of flora in Indonesia according to Wallacea and Weber line. Thus, we can analyze the history of plant movements used by the ancestors in etymology of hygeralai. The hygeralai research results from this historical position are then compared in general with other terms in Maluku related to environmental and natural resource management. The results of this research contribute to local history, especially the management of natural resources based on local wisdom in coastal communities and border areas.

Mission Rivalries, Conflicts, and the Construction of Protestant Christian Identities in Colonial Malawi

This article delves into the historical background of mission work in colonial Malawi, specifically focusing on the crucial link between mission boundaries and the development of Christian and ethnic identities. The study examines the collaboration and conflicts that arose among missions due to overlapping spheres of influence and territories. It highlights the extent of cooperation between the Livingstonia Mission, Dutch Reformed Church Missions, and other missions operating under the Federated Board of Nyasaland Mission. In particular, the article will discuss the extent to which missionary boundaries affected the self-understanding of Christians and other ethnic groups and how they were expressed in the communities in which they lived. It is argued that Christian identity in colonial Malawi was a by-product of mission rivalries, which manifested in boundary disputes.

"Extremely toxic and evil" reflections on gender identity change efforts by Christian religious leaders: Implications for therapy with transgender and nonbinary clients.

Given the religious groundings that support the practice of gender identity change efforts (GICE), we sought to explore the beliefs of Christian religious leaders about this practice and their understanding of marginalized gender identities. Nineteen religious leaders mainly from diverse Mainline Christian Protestant traditions were interviewed. Queer theory-informed thematic analysis revealed two themes related to participants' beliefs about transgender and nonbinary identities: (1) Transgender and nonbinary identities are normative and authenticand (2) God created gender diversity. The analyses also highlighted two themes reflecting the pastors' beliefs about GICE: (1) GICE is harmfuland (2) Therapy should affirm transgender and nonbinary identities. Finally, the thematic analysis exploring participants' messages for couple and family therapists could be organized into two themes: (1) Christian religious beliefs do not justify the use of GICE and (2) Therapists should be helpful and not harmful. Implications for couple and family therapists are also discussed.

DAMAI Model as a Prototype of Religious Moderation

The first principle of Pancasila states that Indonesia as a nation that believes in God Almighty. Although Indonesia is officially secular, it is a diverse nation in terms of culture and religion. This diversity presents the possibility of disputes arising from religious matters in different areas. This article emphasizes how elements like the politicization of religion, exclusivism, and identity politics may lead to religious insecurity. The use of the DAMAI paradigm (Dialogue, Adaptation, Mediation, Accommodation, Integration) to build religious moderation in the context of Christian theological education in Papua is also covered in this article. Descriptive qualitative research methodology is employed in this study. Forty participants—representing staff, instructors, and students—were interviewed, and observations were made in order to gather data. The study’s findings demonstrate the high degree of DAMAI model application at Sentani State Protestant Christian College (STAKPN Sentani), with scores ranging from 80% to 99% for indicators including Communication, Justice, Love, Security, and Innovation. The DAMAI paradigm is presented in this article to foster inclusive and peaceful religious moderation in Papua while shedding light on the challenges related to religious moderation in Christian theological education settings.

Religious Moderation, Tolerance Moderasi Beragama di Desa Ngandagan Kecamatan Pituruh Kabupaten Purworejo Provinsi Jawa Tengah

This study aims to describe the uniqueness that exists in Ngandagan Village, Pituruh District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java. It started with the researcher’s interest in this area, where the community adheres to various religions but has religious moderation. Harmony and peace is always well maintained. In interviews with village officials, community leaders in Ngandagan village as well as several members of the Ngandagan village community, is was found that this village community adheres to various religions including Islam, Protestant Christianity, adn Catholic Christianity. Because of this diversity and the social harmony that accompanies it, further research is needed on the things behind this event. The methodology used is the method of observation and interviews where to get the data, the authors conduct observations and structured or planned interviews. The findings in this paper include. First, the community has long adhered to religious differences, even since the G30S PKI era, so that differences are very natural in that society. Furthermore, because of family ties. Where in one family member adheres to various religions as well because it has become a tardition to respect fellow religious people.

Protestant Christianity and the Bible as Wisdom for Earth Environmental Stewardship

Since the 1967, after Lynn White Jr.´s seminal article in science, entitled “The Historical Roots of Our Ecological Crisis,” Christianity has received academic and popular criticism, for having, supposedly, served as a major driver for our current ecological crisis. Contrary to White´s negative historical account of the role of Christianity in environmental affairs, in this article, I offer a rebuttal by stressing that, actually, Christianity is a major source of wisdom towards building a more sustainable Earth stewardship. White´s biggest mistake was not telling apart what Christianity teaches from what self-ascribed Christians think and do about the environment. Christianity itself explains this paradox: People’s right and wrong doings are solely the result of their own choices and flaws due to sin, and not because Judeo-Christian traditions or the Bible lack values and principles that are benevolent to the environment. In conclusion, White´s views on the interplay between Christianity and Ecology are fundamentally mistaken, mainly for his lack (or dismissal) of a deeper knowledge of biblical principles for environmental stewardship.

‘Love of the Nation’ and the Church in China: An Issue of Belonging and Moral Identity

Abstract This article contributes to a deeper understanding of Christian patriotism in China by reflecting on the phenomenon from a pastoral-theological perspective and by considering the sociocultural meaning of patriotism in the Chinese context. Through three examples, the author analyzes different discourses of Christian patriotic identity, which represent a large specter of contemporary Protestant Christianity in China. She demonstrates that the phenomenon of Chinese Christian patriotism primarily concerns moral identity and is only secondarily a political issue.

Reflections on the position paper at the conference of the DVRW (German Ass. for Science of Religion), Bayreuth 2023, calling for integrated teaching of ‘religion’ for all students in Germany

In Germany, Austria, and to some extent in Switzerland, denominational instruction in religion or secular ethics at schools is the legally enshrined norm. Considering that these countries comprise about 100 million inhabitants, with Germany being the by far most populous nation in the EU, this is of cultural significance outside of the German-speaking realm too. A philosophy of inclusion of the Churches and recognised religious communities into the social life and education is pursued, that is legally entrenched in constitutions (notwithstanding the religious-philosophical neutrality of the state). This provides for their active inclusion into education on all levels, in forms of cooperation between state(s) and Church. The present (prevalent) structure of compulsory denominational religious instruction, or secular ethics, at choice, and of the academic training of teachers at denominational faculties of theology, or of other recognised religions, reflect his system. It is in force for over one century, now. This system has come under pressure by the ongoing secularisation that prevents the formation of sufficiently large classes for such separate instruction. As to knowledge about religion, there is also a trend in society for become aware or the role of religion in shaping culture. The presence of large Islamic immigrant communities, has sharpened awareness for differing value systems and mores, between religions and cultures. These factors of sociology of religion, and of societal change, led to developments towards integrated religious instruction, to the inclusion of perspectives and themes of science of religion in denominational curricula, and to the increased inclusion of themes of religion in secular ethics instruction. In this context, the German Association for Science of Religion (DVRW) endorsed a position paper, calling for an integrated instruction of religion (and ethics) for all students. It also calls for science of religion as regular study requirement to qualify for teaching such an integrated subject. This model is in force in only on state of Germany (and in some Swiss cantons). The position paper thus has aspects of promoting the position of the discipline. This review gives a critical analysis of arguments proposed in this position paper that was debated and endorsed at the recent conference of the DVRW in Bayreuth in September of 2023. My critique of this position paper is based on decades of teaching Protestant Religion at upper secondary schools, with the experience of applying instruction on other religions, on the basis of science of religion – as prescribed by the curriculum, about which I published, as with a teacher’s manual for the instruction on Hinduism (including Yoga), and Buddhism,1 as required by the curriculum. (This manual combines perspectives of science of religion, theological approaches, from the perspectives of Hinduism, Buddhism, and Protestant Christianity, and of history of culture.), by contributing to debate in the field,2 and lectures, on didactical consequences of secularisation for religious instruction,3 and professional publications,4 also in sociological perspective.5

The History of the Sangap Di Jahowa Hymnbook of the Batak Protestant Christian Church (HKBP)

Ende or songs are very important in every church. To develop services in HKBP churches, varied religious songs are needed. This research aims to investigate when the HKBP churches started using Sangap di Jahowa songbook for the first time, and what are the roles of the songbook holds in HKBP services. This research used qualitative method, by interviewing some people who directly related to the arrangement of the book. Data from articles and books as well as theories from interdiciplinary science were also taken into consideration. This research shows that Ende Sangap di Jahowa songbook exists because of the needs of varied songs in addition to Buku Ende and Haluaon na Gok. Its presence shows that for hundred of years HKBP congregations have adapted and created new songs from ones that came out of their own culture. It gives positive changes in HKBP services.

Women’s experience with religion and spirituality when perceiving their husband’s pornography use as problematic: A qualitative study

Background: Several recent studies concerning men’s pornography use have challenged past research conclusions that male pornography use negatively impacts relational outcomes in heterosexual relationships. While extant literature has explored the intersection of religion and men’s experience with pornography consumption, the impact on religious wives has primarily been understudied. Purpose: The present study examined the impact of a husband’s problematic pornography use on a religious woman’s spirituality and religiosity. Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 27 women who self-identified as religious women. Faith traditions of the participants include Catholic, Jewish, Latter-day Saint, Native American Spiritual, non-denominational Christians, Protestant Christians, and Spiritual. The data was analyzed using interpretive phenomenology, a qualitative methodology. Results: Using a feminist hermeneutics theoretical lens to analyze the data in a way that gives preference for the woman’s experience, three primary themes emerged: Wrestle with Religion, Relationships that Facilitate Healing, and Spiritual Growth. Nine subthemes were identified, including Influence of Religious Culture, Unmet Expectations of Religious Leaders, Challenges to Faith, Support from Inside the Religion, Recognizing the Need for Support Outside the Religion, Women Need Women for Healing, Divine Assistance, Relationship with God, and A Journey of Growth and Transformation. Conclusions & Implications: These primary themes and subthemes provide a rich description of the religious context, means to healing, and resilience that characterize religious women’s experiences after discovering a husband’s problematic pornography use. Most importantly, the authors discuss significant implications for religious leaders and clinicians seeking to provide culturally sensitive care to distressed women.

Mediums, Objects, and the Problem of Presence in the Western Himalayas

ABSTRACT In some religious contexts, mainly Protestant Christianity, anthropologists often contend with the problem of presence that preoccupies believers – the simultaneous presence and absence of God. However, in the Hinduism of the Western Himalayas the problem of presence is quite different. The royal deities in this region are profoundly present, embodied in mediums and palanquins. Thus, followers of these deities are not puzzled by the concept of an absent god. Instead, they need to navigate in a world where gods are very tangible, in ways that can cause discomfort and anxiety. In this article I demonstrate the different roles of mediums and palanquins in the religious experience, and how palanquins are considered more reliable manifestations of the deities. I suggest that this is due to the need of the locals to maintain some degree of distance from the spirit mediumship in order to avoid excess presence of the deities.

Pengaruh Bimbingan Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen Terhadap Disiplin Siswa Kelas IX SMP Negeri 5 Sitapongan Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024

The study aims to determine the effect of Christian Religious Education teacher guidance on the discipline of ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Sitapongan in the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the guidance of Christian Religious Education teachers on the discipline of ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Sitapongan in the 2023/2024 academic year. Descriptive quantitative research method. The population of all ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Sitapongan in the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 102 people. Sampling from the list of estimated sample sizes based on the Krejcie Morgan formula is 80 people. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: 1) regression equation. 2) The determination test found the influence of 28.30%. 3) Hypothesis testing obtained thitung = 3,181>ttabel = 2,000, namely there is a positive and significant influence between the guidance of Christian Religious Education teachers on student discipline in class IX SMP Negeri 5 Sitapongan in the 2023/2024 academic year and can be accepted as true.

Pemahaman Liberalisme dalam Perspektif Islam dan Kristen Studi terhadap Pandangan Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) dan Persekutuan Injili Indonesia

This study discusses the understanding of religious liberalism from an Islamic and Christian perspective. Liberal values are prohibited by the MUI, so Islam is contrary to the basic right to freedom. Misunderstandings occur among orthodox Islamic circles, but also among secular nationalities. Liberalism is related to individualism on the one hand and imperialist capitalism on the other. Liberalism understands that it experiences development and change and can even form politics and political parties. The opposite of liberalism is fundamentalism, both in the economic and religious fields. What is meant by liberal freedom here is freedom that is institutionalized in constitutional law, freedom and human rights are the foundation of democracy, because with these principles every citizen is given the right to choose and be elected. Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta Kabupaten Samosir Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The study aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on the learning activity of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on the learning activity of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta, Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. Descriptive quantitative research methods of inferential statistics. The population of all grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta for the 2023/2024 Learning Year who are Protestant Christians is 174 people. Random sampling is 30% of the total population, which is 52 people. The research instrument is in the form of a closed questionnaire. The results of the analysis requirements obtained a value of rxy=0.791>rtabel=0.226 and tcalc=9.142>ttabel=2.000 showed a relationship between the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model and the learning activity of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta Learning Year 2023/2024 and obtained a regression equation. Test the hypothesis obtained Fcalculate = 83.776 > Ftable = 1.39 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The study concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on the learning activity of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Ronggurnihuta, Samosir Regency for the 2023/2024 Learning Year of 62.57%.

The research aims to determine the influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year Quantitative and descriptive research methods. The population of all class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 60 people. This research is population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value of rcount=0.583>rtable=0.254 shows that there is a positive influence between the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model and students' interest in learning Christian Religious Education and Character. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test revealed that the magnitude of the effect was 33.99%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=29.896>Ftable=3.15 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive influence between the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on interest in studying Christian Religious Education and Characteristics of class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Pasar Pangururan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Pengaruh Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen Sebagai Komunikator Terhadap Perkembangan Moral Kristen Siswa Di Kelas XI SMK Yayasan Soposurung Balige Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The research aims to determine the positive influence of PAK teachers as communicators on the Christian moral development of students in class XI of the Soposurung Balige Foundation Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive influence between PAK teachers as communicators on the Christian moral development of students in class. Quantitative research methods. The population of all class XI students at Soposurung Foundation Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 57 people. This research is population research. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: 1) regression equation. 2) The determination test revealed that the influence was 41.34%. 3) Testing the hypothesis obtained tcount=6.168>ttable=2.000, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely that there is a positive influence between PAK teachers as communicators on the Christian moral development of class XI students at Soposurung Foundation Vocational School for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Pengaruh Model pembelajaran kooperatif Tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Terhadap Keaktifan Belajar PAK (Pendidikan agama Kristen) Siswa Kelas XI SMA Swasta PGRI 20 Siborongborong Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2022/2023

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a positive and significant effect of the cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Type on the Activeness of PAK Learning of XI class students of PGRI Siborongborong Private High School in the 2022/2023 Learning Year. The research method used is quantitative method with inferential descriptive data analysis. The population is all grade XI students of PGRI 20 Siborongborong High School in the 2022/2023 learning year who are Protestant Christians as many as 245 people and a sample of 49 people was determined using random sampling technique. Data were collected using a positive closed questionnaire as many as 40 items, namely 20 items for variable X and 20 items for variable Y. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant effect of the cooperative learning model of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) Type on PAK Learning Activity of XI grade students of PGRI Siborongborong Private Senior High School in the 2022/2023 Learning Year: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.553> rtable (a=0.05, n=49) = 0.281. b) Significant relationship test obtained tcount = 4.555> ttable (a=0.05, dk=n-2=47) = 2.021. 2) Effect test: a) Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y = 20.73 + 0.71X. b) Regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 30.6%. 3) Hypothesis testing using the F test obtained Fhitung> Ftabel = (a=0.05, dk numerator k = 19, dk denominator = n-2 = 49-2 = 47), namely 20.74> 1.51. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Gambar Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Pendidikan Agama Kristen dan Budi Pekerti Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The study aims to determine the positive and significant influence between the use of image media on the motivation to learn Christian Religious Education and Ethics of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 Learning Year. Descriptive and inferential quantitative research methods. The population of all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 Learning Year who are Protestant Christians is 160 people. Random sampling is 25% of the total population, which is 40 people. The research instrument is in the form of a closed questionnaire. The results of the data analysis were obtained: a) The value of rhitung=0.553>rtabel=0.312 and thitung=4.091>ttabel=2.021 shows a relationship between the use of image media and learning motivation Christian Religious Education and Ethics of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon Learning Year 2023/2024. b) Regression equation . c) The determination test is known to have an effect of 30.58%. d) Test the hypothesis obtained Fcalculate = 16.693 > Ftable = 3.23 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The study concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of image media on the motivation to learn Christian Religious Education and Ethics of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sipoholon for the 2023/2024 Learning Year.

Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Audio Visual Pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen Terhadap Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pakkat Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024

The research aims to determine the positive and significant influence of the use of audio-visual media in Christian Religious Education learning on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pakkat for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant influence between the use of audio-visual media in Christian Religious Education learning on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pakkat for the 2023/2024 academic year. Descriptive and inferential quantitative research methods. The population of all class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pakkat for the 2023/2024 academic year who are Protestant Christians is 152 people. Random sampling (random sampling) was 35% of the total population, namely 53 people. The research instrument is a closed questionnaire. The results of data analysis obtained: a) The value rcount=0.501>rtabel(n=53)=0.297 and tcount=4.134>ttable(n-2=51)=2.000 shows that there is a relationship between the use of audio-visual media in Christian Religious Education learning and interest studying class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Pakkat for the 2023/2024 academic year. b) Regression equation. c) The determination test shows that the magnitude of the effect is 25.10%. d) Hypothesis testing obtained Fcount=16.794>Ftable(n-2=51)=3.15 so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. The research concluded that there was a positive and significant influence between the use of audio-visual media in Christian Religious Education learning on the learning interest of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Pakkat for the 2023/2024 academic year.
