Implementation of the Smart Indonesia Card Scholarship (KIP) Acceptance Using the K-NN Method (Case Study: Politeknik Siber Cerdika Internasional)

This study discusses the implementation of the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method in the process of receiving the Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) scholarship at the Cerdika International Cyber Polytechnic. The main purpose of this study is to improve accuracy and efficiency in the selection of KIP scholarship recipients. The K-NN method was chosen because of its ability to classify data based on the proximity of features between samples. This research involves analyzing data on prospective scholarship recipients which includes variables such as academic achievement, economic conditions, and extracurricular activities. The results of the implementation of the K-NN method show that this method can be used as an effective tool in the selection process of KIP scholarship recipients, with a fairly high level of accuracy compared to traditional methods. This finding is expected to help the Polytechnic in increasing transparency and fairness in providing scholarships.

Pemeringkatan Calon Penerima Beasiswa SD Negeri 3 Wadas, Kendal Menggunakan Metode AHP-Copras

The main obstacle in the selection process for scholarship recipients at SD Negeri 3 Wadas is that selection is only based on one or two criteria without considering other relevant factors, such as family economic conditions, academic achievement and student age, which can lead to uneven and uneven distribution of scholarships. right on target. This research aims to develop a ranking model for prospective scholarship recipients at SD Negeri 3 Wadas using the criteria of family income, number of family members, age of students, average grades, and income per person. Rought Set: Effective Method for Determining Scholarship Recipients

Every year, higher education institutions receive a KIP Tuition scholarship quota that has been determined by Ristek Dikti through LLDIKTI which is given during the new student admissions process. The process of determining recipients is carried out manually resulting in inaccurate scholarship recipients being selected and the selection results may not be the same based on those who participated in making the decision. This research is motivated by the need for an algorithm for determining prospective scholarship recipients that is appropriate and effective because the recipient selection process often takes a long time because many high school and equivalent students register so that they exceed the quota limit while the quota given is limited. This research aims to use a system for scholarship recipients and provide rules and knowledge, namely rough set Theory and adapted to the Rosetta application, using prospective student data during the selection process for new students who apply for the KIP Kuliah scholarship in the 2020/2021 academic year. The resulting decision is the KIP Opportunity which consists of 4 (four) attributes, including parents' income, housing status, dependents, and parental status. The results of this research using sample data from 12 people produced 6 (six) rules and knowledge of 26 rules. This research is very supportive in identifying the eligibility of KIP Kuliah recipients.

Analysis and Development of a Decision Support System for Selection of Prospective KIP Scholarship Recipients

Global Institute of Technology and Business Campus (Global Institute) is one of the campuses that organizes the KIP (Kartu Indonesia Pintar) scholarship program. This program aims to increase access to education for children from disadvantaged families and provide them with financial support. The research methods used are needs analysis, system design, and prototype implementation. This research collects data from various sources, including personal data of prospective scholarship recipients, academic data, family income data, and other relevant factors. The data collected is then analyzed using appropriate decision making methods, such as the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and TOPSIS methods. A Decision Support System is an interactive platform that helps make decisions efficiently and effectively in the process by presenting alternatives resulting from data processing, information, and the design of interactive computer-based models or systems. This platform provides support to decision makers in utilizing data and models to overcome unstructured problems.

PENERAPAN METODE PROFILE MATCHING DALAM SISTEM INFORMASI SELEKSI BEASISWA PADA SMA NU 03 MUALLIMIN WELERI

Providing Scholarships is a work program that exists in every school. The scholarship program was held to ease the burden on students during their study period, especially regarding costs. Providing scholarships to students must be done selectively according to the type of scholarship being provided. Scholarships are income for those who receive them and the purpose of the scholarship is to help ease the burden of educational costs for students who receive scholarships.
 One of the methods used to determine potential scholarship recipients is profile matching because it is able to select the best alternative from a number of alternatives, in this case the intended alternative is those who are entitled to receive a scholarship based on specified criteria. The research was carried out by determining the aspects and sub-aspects and looking for the weight value for each sub-aspect, looking for the GAP between the profile and the state of the students' data. By using this method, the presentation of the two aspect elements is determined and added together, then a ranking process is carried out which will determine the optimal alternative, namely the student with the highest score. There are two forms of scholarship recipients used in this research, namely based on family economics and based on student attendance.
 The final result of this research is a decision support system for determining prospective scholarship recipients who are able to provide solutions in the form of ranking results from the Profile Matching Method selection based on predetermined criteria.

Decision Making System For Selection Of Prospective Scholarship Recipients Using The Saw (Simple Additive Waighting) Method At Vocational School Bina Negara Gubug

The selection system at Bina Negara Gubug Vocational School Jl. KH. Hasan Anwar No.9 Gubug currently processes data on the criteria for each student for each type of scholarship. It does not yet have a database system but uses a computerized system with Microsoft Excel, so there are often delays in the selection process in preparing the selection report for scholarship recipients. This research uses the Research and Development (R & D) development model by Borg and Gall with 6 steps of development, namely Research and Information Collecting, Planning, Develop Premilinary Form of Product, Premilinary Field Testing, Main Product Revision, Main Field Testing. The scholarship selection decision support system application product uses the SAW (Simple Additive Waighting) method. Visual Basic 6.0 development software and Microsoft Access database. This system can provide a useful solution for the decision-making system for selecting scholarship recipients for schools so that a better and faster selection can be achieved.

Decision Support System for Achievement Scholarship Recipients at Vocational High Schools with the Analytical Hierarchy Process Method

In SMK Negeri 2 BIMA, there is a scholarship program, but the process of giving is still running manually and subjectively. The system used is still not computerized, so at the time of selection, the scholarship recipients are directly selected without specific criteria, which could be based on family relationships. So, there is a weakness in the current system running, one of which is less precisely the distribution of scholarships. This happened because it was influenced by the amount of data the incoming scholarship recipients entered. Therefore, a system that can jointly assist the school in decision-making based on these criteria is needed. The AHP algorithm is the basis of decision-making to determine the students who excel in the system to be built. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) provides convenience with multiple criteria assessments with a framework of thinking that uses a hierarchical process which then calculates the weight for each criterion in determining the eligibility of students who will receive achievement scholarships. The results of this study are expected to help SMK 2 Bima decide which students are more entitled to receive outstanding scholarships. The output generated from this system is in the form of a ranking of prospective scholarship recipients.

Implementation of K-NN Algorithm to classify the Scholarship Recipients of Aceh Carong at Universitas Malikussaleh

In an effort to increase the efficiency of the scholarship selection process, this research aims to implement the K-Nearest Neighbors (K-NN) algorithm in the classification of scholarship recipients. The research method involves collecting data on scholarship receipts from several previous years based on predetermined criteria such as father's job, mother's job, parent's income, number of parents working, father's last education, and mother's last education. Next, the K-NN algorithm is applied to classify prospective scholarship recipients based on the similarity of their profiles to students who have received previous scholarships. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of the K-NN algorithm in the classification of scholarship admissions at Malikussaleh Aceh Carong University can increase selection accuracy. The experimental results of the accuracy values obtained show that using the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm with the Euclidean Distance approach and a value of K = 3 produces an algorithm accuracy level of 87.55%. Thus, the K-NN algorithm can be a useful method for scholarship selectors to support more precise and objective decision making.

SISTEM PENDUKUNG KEPUTUSAN SELEKSI CALON PENERIMA BEASISWA DI SEKOLAH TINGGI PENDIDIKAN ISLAM BINA INSAN MULIA YOGYAKARTA MENGGUNAKAN METODE SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING (SAW)

Bina Insan Mulia Yogyakarta College of Islamic Education offers a scholarship program for underprivileged and outstanding students. To determine the prospective scholarship recipients, the Islamic Education College of Bina Insan Mulia Yogyakarta still uses the manual method by comparing the criteria data one by one that must be adjusted to the predetermined criteria, this causes the selection process to experience difficulties and data errors due to the number of registrants many.
 This research aims to build a Scholarship Recipient Selection Decision Support System by applying the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in it. The research method used is the study of literature which aims to study and understand the basic theories of decision support systems and the theory of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). To find out the problem under study is the interview method, to find out information data relating to the problem under study is a method of collecting data and to study documents related to the object of research is the method of documentation.
 The results of testing the performance of the Decision Support System application using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method stated that this system is able to provide a ranking of scholarship recipients' recommendations in accordance with the criteria used. The conclusion of this study is that this system was built to help the Islamic Education College of Bina Insan Mulia Yogyakarta to select prospective scholarship recipients. The method applied in this system is able to provide a solution to the problem of selection of prospective scholarship recipients with a ranking model that matches the applicable criteria and the weights of those criteria.

Determination of Candidates for Madrasah Aliyah Student Scholarships Using The Simple Additive Weighting Method

Scholarships are a facility expected by some students who need financial assistance in their education. Case study research at MAN 3 Tangerang as a state Islamic senior high school, MAN 3 Tangerang has facilities to propose students who have achievements and need educational funding assistance to the Indonesian Ministry of Religion (Kemenag). Schools often find it difficult to determine which prospective students are most eligible for scholarships. This research is to help the school design and develop a decision support system (DSS) application with the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. DSS application built using UML design and PHP (Hypertext Processor File) programming with MySQL database. The resulting DSS application has been able to provide a sequence of data for prospective scholarship recipients according to the criteria and weightings that have been set. Based on the data generated by the system, the principal can make a decision on who is entitled to a scholarship from the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag).

Decision Support System for Admission of Regional Government Scholarships in Merauke Regency Using the TOPSIS Method

Scholarship is a government program given to high school graduates to be able to continue their studies at the tertiary level. This is as stipulated in the Regent Regulation (PERBUP) No 25 of 2019 concerning "providing scholarships and educational assistance to students of Merauke Regency". In the scholarship acceptance selection activities in 2019, approximately 103 applicants were recorded, and 74 were successfully accepted. The process of selecting prospective scholarship recipients is currently being carried out, namely checking and comparing one by one with the applicant's data. Based on data in 2019, where there are applicants whose report card value data is incomplete but is accepted for a scholarship. This is considered to have an impact on the decision-making results of prospective scholarship recipients in subsequent years. In order to assist KESRA in selecting scholarship recipients, these obstacles can be overcome by using a decision support system. The design of this decision support system is carried out using the TOPSIS method, namely selecting the alternative that is the shortest distance from the positive ideal solution and the furthest distance from the negative ideal solution. The results obtained in this study are a system that can assist the People's Welfare in determining the selection of scholarship recipients based on the three predetermined criteria. Testing the accuracy of the system obtained is 67% and for testing the questionnaire to obtain a percentage of 66.67% which is in the "Agree" category.

Decision Support System for Prospective Scholarship Recipients Using SMARTER and Forward Chaining Method

The purpose of this research is to design and build a web-based decision support system application to determine prospective scholarship recipients at MAN 2 Yogyakarta and test its reliability. The Decision Support System is a problem solving system with supporting tools. This system can solve problems using algorithm methods. One of the decision support system methods that can be applied to scholarship cases at MAN 2 Yogyakarta is the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Ranks (SMARTER) method and forward chaining. The SMARTER method is a decision support method by determining the criteria and sub-criteria and their weight using the ROC (Rank Order Centroid). Meanwhile, the forward chaining method is a search method or a forward tracking technique that starts with existing information and combines rules to produce a conclusion or goal. The advantages of the DSS that have been developed are as follows. (1) The DSS built can be used by the scholarship selection team to recommend students who have the potential to get scholarships more quickly and objectively (2) The DSS for prospective scholarship recipients that was developed uses two methods of calculation, namely the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Ranks (SMARTER) and Forward Chaining methods, so that the prediction results are better and faster. The SMART method emphasizes more detailed criteria and the Forward Chaining Method allows for a faster selection process.

Decision Support System for Selecting KIP-K Recipients at Amikom University, Purwokerto Using the TOPSIS Method

The Indonesia Smart College Card Program (KIP-K) is a tuition assistance program (scholarship) from the Government through the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbudristek). In the KIP-K scholarship selection process, criteria are needed to determine who is right to receive the KIP-K scholarship. This study aims to carry out the process of determining the ranking of KIP-K scholarship recipients based on the TOPSIS method. To determine scholarship recipients with outstanding achievements, Amikom Purwokerto University selects prospective scholarship recipients based on several criteria. The criteria used are Student DTKS Status, Parents' Income, Parents' Dependents, Average School Exams, Student Transportation Costs. The results obtained from this study are in the form of ranking obtained from the highest value to the lowest value. There were 112 prospective students who were entitled to get KIP-K scholarships out of a total of 314 applicants.

Scholarship Acceptance Selection Using Neural Network Method

Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta is one of the private tertiary institutions that provides scholarship programs. UMY provides scholarship programs for outstanding students and middle-lower class students. In the process of receiving a scholarship, UMY has two stages, namely registration and selection. In order to obtain a scholarship, students who register must be declared to pass administrative selection and meet the assessment component as a condition for students to be eligible for scholarships. In order to know the scholarship information received by students, data processing is needed, data processing is often referred to as data mining. This writing is done to predict prospective scholarship recipients using the Neural network algorithm. The methodology at this writing begins with searching for literature studies, choosing data mining methods, data collection, data processing, application and testing of models, results and conclusions. The data used at this writing are 2019 general scholarship data, GPA data, and organizational active information data. The attributes used are parental income, GPA, scholarships, qualification and non-qualification, and active organizational information. The caption attribute qualification and non-qualification is used as a label. At this writing the authors get an accuracy of 72.62%..

Data Mining implementation on SMUN Scholarship recipient candidates using the C4.5 algorithm

This research is motivated by SMUN previously only providing scholarships for underprivileged students, while for students who excel, the method is not yet, therefore, research by implementing data mining with the C4.5 algorithm method so that in the future, if the scholarship program is for outstanding students already exists, then SMUN can immediately apply it. The sample data are 33 scholarship recipients with subjects that have been determined based on the report card scores of prospective scholarship recipients. The selection results for receiving scholarships to outstanding students so far have only been calculated in general terms, the possibility of incorrect results will cause losses for students who have good achievements. As a result, there are students who should get the scholarship rights and do not receive it. The problem of this research is how to make it easier to analyze students who need and are entitled to receive scholarships, how to make it easier to select and determine scholarship recipients. The research uses the C4.5 algorithm to overcome these problems. With the C4.5 algorithm, the percentage accuracy value can be calculated which is used to determine whether the student is entitled to receive a scholarship or not. The data collection technique in this study is to use student report cards. classification value in determining students who get scholarships with the highest accuracy of 81.81%. The accuracy value was obtained by experimenting with the testing process with the number of student data as many as 33 students. It is hoped that it will make it easier to receive scholarships for students who excel academically in school.

Implementasi Algoritma Naïve Bayes Untuk Menentukan Calon Penerima Beasiswa Di SMK YPM 14 Sumobito Jombang

Scholarships are grants in the form of financial assistance given to individuals that aim to be used for the continuation of the education achieved. With this scholarship program, it is hoped that it can help students who have problems in financing. The selection of scholarship recipients at SMK YPM 14 Sumobito still experiences problems in decision making, because the assessment process is not always decided based on definite considerations but the policy of the decision makers who ultimately determine the scholarship recipients. This is because there is no method that can predict prospective scholarship recipients. Eligibility of prospective scholarship recipients is determined by applying the Naïve Bayes method. This method was chosen because it was able to study the previous case data used as test data. After testing with the Naïve Bayes algorithm using the Rapidmaner tool, the results were 90.48% accuracy, 96.88% precision, 83.33% recall each. So that it can be said as a good key to apply for prospective scholarship recipients.

A scholarship is a gift given by the government or a university to help reduce the cost of education where the higher the level of education taken, the more money that must be provided to fulfill, the opportunity to be able to continue master's education is the dream of many young scholars. Every opportunity that is open to get a master's scholarship makes many prospective scholarship recipients compete to register themselves as participants, but not all participants who apply to receive scholarships get the same opportunity because the quota is limited. It is necessary to make a selection in determining the award of scholarships to the right people and avoid fraud in the selection process, this can be solved by using the application of computer science, namely a decision support system assisted by applying the SAW method in obtaining more systematic results based on previous research. the results obtained in this study

Evaluation of Bidikmisi scholarship program at state Islamic universities in Indonesia

This study raised the theme of evaluating the Bidikmisi scholarship program at State Islamic Universities in Indonesia with the CIPP Model approach. The Bidikmisi scholarship program is the government's flagship program for outstanding students who are less able to meet the costs of higher education. This research is evaluation research focusing on four areas: context, input, process, and product evaluation. The research subjects were one managing director, three universities within the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, and 15 student informants who received the Bidikmisi scholarship. The results of the research on the evaluation of the Bidikmisi scholarship program show that (1) the context of the program is carried out in accordance with the technical instructions issued by the directorate of Islamic higher education related to the evaluation of the Bidikmisi scholarship program. (2) Evaluation of inputs is carried out by meeting the criteria considering starting from setting evaluation goals to the results of program evaluation, and program targets are high school graduates who have academic and non-academic achievements. (3) In the current process, the Bidikmisi scholarship program has been running for ten years with satisfactory results, and the selection is made openly and transparently. (4) The product of this program evaluation is policy improvement and service improvement to prospective scholarship recipients. The program manager must maintain its performance by improving program quality, achievement process, and control. Programs should focus on increasing resources by strengthening program recipients' academic skills and knowledge.

Scholarship Acceptance Decision Support System With Simple Additive Weighting (Saw) Method At Sudirman Islamic High School

Sudirman Ambarawa Islamic High School is a Private Upper Level Secondary School located in Ambarawa, precisely on Jalan Jendral Sudirman No.2A Ambarawa, Semarang Regency, Central Java. It is very strategically located because it is on the edge of the Semarang-Yogyakarta Main Road. Sudirman Ambarawa Islamic High School is under the leadership of the Sudirman Islamic Education Center Foundation (YAPPIS). The scholarship acceptance system at Sudirman Ambarawa Islamic High School records and selects prospective scholarship recipients is still manually, namely only by using the Microsoft Excel program, which results in data input errors and the results of the selection of scholarship recipient students.
 The problems that occur at Sudirman Ambarawa Islamic High School will be resolved by supporting scholarship admission decisions. This system is needed in helping to make decisions to provide scholarships based on predetermined conditions or criteria in accordance with the standards of the Simple Additive Weighting method applied. So far, the selection process for scholarship admissions at Sudirman Ambarawa Islamic High School uses a manual process that only uses the Microsoft Excel computer program, where the consideration is also carried out manually, only doing a simple mathematical calculation process.

Selection of Candidates for Academic Scholarships Using Analytical Hierarchy Process (Ahp) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) Methods at National University

The National University administers several scholarships for new students each year. The problem is, the University does not yet have a standard method for determining beneficiaries. They have difficulty in determining prospective scholarship recipients with the same criteria. In fact, sometimes it only relies on people's instincts, which can be subjective. The University should implement a DSS system to overcome this problem. Therefore, in this study, the AHP method is applied and used to weight the criteria and test the level of consistency so that the criteria are in accordance with the type of scholarship. In addition, the SAW method is also used for determining scholarship recipients according to the quota. The results of this study are the priority weights of the importance of each criterion, namely the average value of report cards (0.35), parents' income (0.23), certificates (0.05), affidavits of not working and receiving scholarships (0.15), year of graduation (0.11) and number of certificates (0.10). The consistency ratio value is 0.03741 indicating the weight is consistent. This study also resulted in the best ranking of candidates for academic scholarships, with a result of 0.93. The average value of the application test results using the TAM method is 80.5%.
