Peningkatan Literasi Digital Melalui Pelatihan Pengelolaan Website Di Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Iqro Palangkaraya

The Salafiyah Islamic Boarding School (PPS) IQRO does not yet have a website to support the learning process and promote IQRO PPS to parents of prospective students, donors, partners, government, and other organizations. The implementation team and partners have held discussions to address these problems. To deal with the first problem, the first thing to do is to do a Need Analysis or needs analysis from PPS IQRO related to the website. Need Analysis will be conducted with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving elements of managers, teachers, and students, as well as several community leaders. The solution that has been agreed upon is to first design a profile website based on the results of the Need Analysis and FGD. After that website development for partners. To overcome the second and third problems is to conduct training on the development and management of profile websites and learn about the elements found in partners. The solution that has been agreed upon is to schedule the training, which is preceded by a Pre-Test and ends with a Post-Test to determine the level of understanding and skills. In addition, there will be assistance for the next 3 years in managing the website.

Classifying Comments on Social Media Related to Living Kidney Donation: Machine Learning Training and Validation Study.

Living kidney donation currently constitutes approximately a quarter of all kidney donations. There exist barriers that preclude prospective donors from donating, such as medical ineligibility and costs associated with donation. A better understanding of perceptions of and barriers to living donation could facilitate the development of effective policies, education opportunities, and outreach strategies and may lead to an increased number of living kidney donations. Prior research focused predominantly on perceptions and barriers among a small subset of individuals who had prior exposure to the donation process. The viewpoints of the general public have rarely been represented in prior research. The current study designed a web-scraping method and machine learning algorithms for collecting and classifying comments from a variety of online sources. The resultant data set was made available in the public domain to facilitate further investigation of this topic. We collected comments using Python-based web-scraping tools from the New York Times, YouTube, Twitter, and Reddit. We developed a set of guidelines for the creation of training data and manual classification of comments as either related to living organ donation or not. We then classified the remaining comments using deep learning. A total of 203,219 unique comments were collected from the above sources. The deep neural network model had 84% accuracy in testing data. Further validation of predictions found an actual accuracy of 63%. The final database contained 11,027 comments classified as being related to living kidney donation. The current study lays the groundwork for more comprehensive analyses of perceptions, myths, and feelings about living kidney donation. Web-scraping and machine learning classifiers are effective methods to collect and examine opinions held by the general public on living kidney donation.

Liver Stiffness Values in Persons with Normal Histology

Most studies to date have focused on liver stiffness measurement (LSM) in patients with different chronic liver diseases, and normal LSM is defined based on normal liver function tests or the absence of fibrosis. Very few studies have defined LSM based on completely normal liver biopsies. The current study was done to define the distribution of LSM values in individuals with normal liver biopsies. All prospective liver donors presenting to Medanta, the Medicity hospital between September 2020 and September 2021 fulfilling the eligibility criteria were included in this study. A total of 63 donors (36 females and 27 males) were included in the study, 37 (58.7%) donors had normal liver biopsies, and 26 (41.2%) donors showed the presence of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. LSM values in the normal liver histology group were 5.01±1.99kPa by the M probe and 5.34±2.25kPa by the XL probe. Even though the correlation was weak (r=0.29, P=0.03), M probe LSM correlated positively with body mass index. There was a good correlation between the LSM measured by the M probe and the XL probe (r=0.73, P=<0.001). LSM value in the biopsy-proven normal liver histology group was 5.01±1.99 by the M probe and 5.34±2.25 by the XL probe.

Characterization of Blood Donor Defferal at Blood Donation Unit Indonesian Red Cross Bojonegoro

Availability of safe blood and blood products is a critical component in improving adequate blood supply and blood products. Blood donation collected from 1% of the population is usu­ally the minimum requirement to meet a country’s most basic need for blood. Blood product declare as a life saving product which treat diseases and maintains health. Safety blood donor plays a vital role for donor and recipient. Recruiting donor should follow criterias during blood selection. This study aimed to analysis of blood donor referral in blood donation unit of Bojonegoro following some characteristics such as hemoglobin levels, blood pressure, and consumption. This study was conducted by reviewing the deferral donor records during June to July 2022 at Blood Donation Units Bojonegoro. Out of the 668 screened prospective donors, 117 (17%) were deferred. Hemoglobin levels was the major (90% from 117) cause of temporary deferral as well as the second cause of overall deferrals. Blood pressure and latest consumption time constituted 9% and 1% of the deferral cases, respectively. From 117 deferred donor, deferral rate among male donors was 53% (62 donor). Among female donors, it was 47% (55 donor). Thus, the prevalence of deferral was significantly higher among female donors than among male donors. The Influence of Socio-Cultural Factors on Oocyte Donors' Motivations and Disclosure Decisions

The study focuses on the motivations of Russian oocyte donors and the socio-cultural factors affecting these motivations. We conducted 16 semi-structured interviews with actual or prospective oocyte donors. All of them were patients of two fertility clinics located in the city of Yekaterinburg (Russia) planning to become oocyte donors within the period from 2 weeks to 3 months. We built a profile of a Russian oocyte donor: it is a 26-year-old married woman with at least one child; she has a secondary vocational education and a low income. All the women in our study displayed multiple motivations: apart from the interest in a financial reward and purely altruistic motivations, for many women the decisive factor is their desire to help their friends or relatives struggling with infertility. Interestingly, almost all of our respondents described their decision to donate as an attempt to move past a traumatic situation they once endured and to achieve closure by doing something really important and good. For many women, oocyte donation becomes a way to boost their self-esteem, to feel more significant and to promote their personal autonomy. As for barriers to donation, one of the most important is associated with the donors' unwillingness to make their identity known and to share this information even with their close circle of friends and relatives. For the majority of donors, anonymity is crucial. The disclosure of this information, in their view, will cause controversy in the donor's family and immediate circle of friends at present and will threaten their privacy in the future. The prospective donors are also concerned about the negative public attitudes or lack of understanding.

A Preliminary Study of QAFSCALE Measuring Waqf-Based Qardhul Hassan Financing Receptiveness

Understanding the elements favoured by waqif (donor) in engaging in waqf-based qardhul hassan financing has been a major topic of Islamic social finance, should and if it is implemented to better assist ummah amid financial and health crises, primarily in Malaysia. Previous studies, on the other hand, represented a narrow theoretical viewpoint and disregarded the significance of maqasid al-Shariah and its relationship to customers. Thus, using an Attia's maqasid method (Attia, 2010), this research constructs QAFSCALE to quantify waqif preference of waqf-based qardhul hassan financing in Malaysia. A total of 292 prospective donors responded in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. Statistical Package of Social Science (SPSS) 21 was used to analyse the data. The results show that the family factor, consumer factor and the ummah factor were found important as constructs representing the QAFSCALE. Interestingly, this study introduces new QAFSCALE that measures waqif preference to donate in waqf-based qardhul hassan financing.

Epidemiological surveillance and burden of serological infectious markers among adult population of New Juaben Municipality: A 6-year laboratory review from the Eastern Regional Hospital, Ghana

Aims: The study aimed at determining the epidemiological feature and burden of infectious markers among asymptomatic adult population in Koforidua. Methods: This is a hospital-based retrospective study conducted at the Eastern Regional Hospital and comprised of a review of secondary data of prospective blood donors who visited the facility blood bank from January 2015 to December 2020. Archived data of 22,648 prospective blood donors comprising gender, age, and residential locations as well as results of infectious markers [syphilis, hepatitis C virus (HCV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)] were retrieved from the blood bank. Prospective blood donors were screened for infectious markers using rapid diagnostic test (RDT) kits. Hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and syphilis were screened using Abon, Micropoint, Just check, Green life, and Accurate rapid diagnostic test kits whereas HIV was screened using First response kits. Results: The overall cumulative crude prevalence rate of blood-borne pathogens was 69.76 per 10,000, 27.45 per 10,000, 115.15 per 10,000, and 33.87 per 10,000 population for HBV, HCV, syphilis, and HIV, respectively. A prominent year-on-year decreasing trend of hepatitis B viral infection and HIV was observed in the general population. On the other hand, syphilis infection recorded an increasing trend of infection while HCV infection demonstrated a dual trend with a decrease from 2016 to 2018 and an increase till the end of 2020. Conclusion: The overall burden of transfusion transmissible infections (TTIs) was high among the populace with a prominent male gender preponderance. The rates of the infections were highly marked among the youth population within the ages of 20 to 29 years.

400.1: The “Global Kidney Exchange” Proposal Is Impractical And Not Financially Neutral

This paper argues that, notwithstanding some recent claims by moral philosophers, the proposed Global Kidney Exchange (GKE) should be rejected as impractical and not ethical, as it does not accord with the principles of intergovernmental bodies (such as the World Health Organization) and professional societies (such as The Transplantation Society and the Declaration of Istanbul), and would violate national laws that forbid organ trafficking and that require financial neutrality in organ donation. Under the proposal, a kidney patient in a high-income country (HIC) who is biologically incompatible with his or her donor would be matched with a prospective donor from a low/medium-income country (LMIC) who is willing to donate to a patient there who cannot get a transplant for lack of the necessary funding or facilities. The GKE would bring the LMIC pair to the HIC, coordinate the two transplant operations (LMIC donor to HIC recipient and vice versa), and fund a US$50,000 escrow account for follow-up care of the LMIC pair, including the recipient’s post-transplant immunosuppression. A normal “kidney swap” meets ethical and legal requirements because only organs are exchanged, whereas in the GKE an LMIC patient who can supply a donor who meets the GKE’s requirements will receive not only a kidney but substantial financial benefits. Since the exchange is not financially neutral, the Council of Europe has rejected the GKE as a form of “organ trafficking” and an exploitation of financial inequality.In response, recent defenders of the GKE have made several arguments. First among these is the claim that saving recipients’ lives outweighs all the objections raised to the program. This proves too much, as it would justify all organ sales (including from poorer to richer countries) if lives are saved. Nor can the GKE be defended on grounds of autonomy, when the terms are entirely set by the GKE; the preferences of the LMIC donor, who might prefer something else in exchange—perhaps something that might make the commercial nature of the transaction more apparent—are ignored. Besides being unethical, the proposal is impractical. Some patients from LMICs will respond to the possibility of an organ transplant by recruiting paid donors and disguising them as an altruistic friend or relative, a ruse that experience shows transplant programs in HIC often fail to detect. Moreover, the assumption that financial inducements will yield a net increase in organs is contradicted by experience: donation rates are much higher in countries such as Spain and the US than in countries where payments occur such as Iran and Saudi Arabia.Finally, the GKE does not provide, as the philosophers claim, “an eminently fair solution” to the inequities that face LMIC patients, who would be better served if HIC organizations helped LMICs develop appropriate programs to prevent and treat kidney failure, including deceased donor programs.

The role of health workers in implementing of childbirth planning and complication prevention program.

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia especially in achieving the target of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2030 is still a concern. The Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS) in 2012 showed a significant increase in Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR), which was 359 maternal deaths per 100,000 live births. South Sulawesi Province is one of the regions experiencing high maternal mortality problems, especially in the Gowa Regency. The Program for Childbirth Planning and Complication Prevention (P4K) is a program launched to accelerate the decline in MMR. The purpose of this study is to explore the role of health workers in implementing the P4K program so that it can become an input for health workers. The research was descriptive qualitative using purposive sampling technique, 33 informants of 6 pregnant women, 4 husbands, 5 health cadres, 3 midwives, 1 midwife coordinator, 8 environmental heads, and 6 urban village heads. The role of health workers in implementing the P4K program has been carried out but not maximally, P4K sticker installation, data collection on pregnant women, home visits, not prospective blood donors, no village ambulance, saving for maternity only for socialization, no socialization of maternity funds and the health of both mother and child forum has not yet been formed. This study is the improvement of the implementation of the P4K program, and its implications for science by implementing management functions well.

Physical risks from hematopoietic stem cell donation have been well described, but less is known about psychological aspects of becoming a stem cell donor. In a cross-sectional national survey study, we investigate pre-donation worries and investigate associations between characteristics of prospective donors and psychological well-being.

FAKTOR PENENTU KRITERIA PENOLAKAN SELEKSI UMUM PENDONOR BERDASARKAN HASIL PEMERIKSAAN KESEHATAN

Background: Blood donors who will donate blood must meet general selection criteria such as: age, weight, blood pressure, pulse, body temperature, hemoglobin, interval since the last donation, appearance of the donor, health history and lifestyle-related risks.&#x0D; Objective: to analyze the determinants of the criteria for rejection of the general selection of prospective donors.&#x0D; Methods: This type of research is descriptive with a cross sectional research design. The population is all the number of blood donors who did not pass the initial selection. The sampling technique using purposive sampling obtained a sample of 353 respondents, the data analysis technique used was univariate which was presented in the form of a frequency distribution table.&#x0D; Results: Donors did not pass the initial selection who did not meet the criteria because the highest Hb level was in January as many as 98 respondents (31.4%), blood pressure factors in March 23 respondents (7.4%), and other factors in March 18 respondents (5.8%).&#x0D; Conclusion: Some of the criteria for prospective donors that are not included in the general selection criteria are due to hemoglobin levels, blood pressure and other factors.&#x0D; &#x0D; Keywords: Deciding Criteria for Rejection, General Selection, Donor

&#x0D; Abstract&#x0D; The level of need for kidney organs which is quite high for patients with kidney failure is not balanced with the availability of kidney organs, giving rise to the law of demand and supply (buying and selling) of kidney organs. This greatly affects the motivation of prospective donors in making decisions to become donors which has an impact on the ethical, moral and legal aspects of religion which have the potential to be ignored. One of the reasons why people sell their organs is due to poverty. Motivationto become a donor is voluntary based on knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Based on the data sources and relevant research above, this research is intended to determine the extent of the influence of donor motivation and provide motivation and attitudes for prospective kidney donors (living donors) in making decisions in accordance with religious sharia. This research uses descriptive qualitative method by digging information to people who have done donor activities. Individual and environmental determinants of serum ferritin levels: A structural equation model.

Serum ferritin levels are increasingly being used to assess iron stores. Considerable variation in ferritin levels within and between individuals has been observed, but our current understanding of factors that explain this variation is far from complete. We aim to combine multiple potential determinants in an integrative model, and investigate their relative importance and potential interactions. We use ferritin measurements collected by Sanquin Blood Bank on both prospective (N= 59 596) and active blood donors (N= 78 318) to fit a structural equation model with three latent constructs (individual characteristics, donation history, and environmental factors). Parameters were estimated separately by sex and donor status. The model explained 25% of ferritin variance in prospective donors, and 40% in active donors. Individual characteristics and donation history were the most important determinants of ferritin levels in active donors. The association between environmental factors and ferritin was smaller but still substantial; higher exposure to air pollution was associated with higher ferritin levels, and this association was considerably stronger for active blood donors than for prospective donors. In active donors, individual characteristics explain 20% (17%) of ferritin variation, donation history explains 14% (25%) and environmental factors explain 5% (4%) for women (men). Our model presents known ferritin determinants in a broader perspective, allowing for comparison with other determinants as well as between new and active donors, or between men and women.

I will help you survive but not thrive: Helping decisions in situations that empower women

This research examines gender-based helping behavior from a social dominance perspective. We focused on the interplay between the gender of a prospective donor and the gender of the recipient in shaping donation decisions in contexts that either empower recipients or not. In two studies ( N = 866), male (but not female) donors chose to donate less often (Study 2) and to give lower amounts (Studies 1–2) to women in need than to men when donations were made in a potentially empowering context – a business context (e.g., donating to a person whose shop burned down), than in a nonempowering context – a domestic context (e.g., donating to a person whose house burned down). Lack of empathy for the female recipient among men partially mediated this gender–donation bias effect (Study 2). These findings suggest that men are less likely to help women in situations that empower women and challenge the existing gender hierarchy.

Evaluation of renal vasculature and its variants by CT angiography

Background: Kidneys are a pair of retroperitoneal organs supplied by a single renal artery and vein. However, the classic illustration of the renal vasculature, formed by one renal artery and one renal vein, occurs in ≤25% of cases. MDCT angiography is presently the most preferred investigation for assessing prospective renal donors. Aims and Objectives: This study aims to familiarize urologists with the variations found in the renal vascular system, emphasizing prevalence, the adequate, appropriate terms, and the clinical and surgical implications involved. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study in 50 patients clinically indicated to undergo CT Renal angiographic study over 2 years is included in the study. This study was carried out to look for any anatomical variants in renal vasculature. CT examination was performed on a multidetector 16 slice CT Siemens scanner in the department of radiodiagnosis. Once conventional CT is done, the data obtained can produce 3D post-processing images that simulate conventional angiograms. Results: Out of 50 patients, single renal arteries are present in 27, and multiple renal arteries are present in 23 patients. Out of 27 patients with single renal arteries, 22.2 % has perihilar arterial branching. The most common variant was accessory renal arteries, which are found in 56% of individuals, followed by aberrant renal arteries found in 30% of individuals. Double renal arteries are found in 8.7% and triple renal arteries in 4.3% of cases. Out of 50 patients, 48 patients have a single renal vein, whereas two patients have supernumerary veins. The present study found right renal vein duplication in only 2% of patients. Conclusion: Renal arteries and veins show numerous variations in their origin sites, numbers, course, and division patterns. These variants exist in the population with high prevalence and are thus crucial in preoperative and intra-operative analysis for better prognosis and reduced complications. Preoperative CT evaluation of renal vasculature using MDCT angiography helps depict the presence or absence of renal arterial and venous variants.

Dealing with Unwanted Donations: A Content Analysis of Small Academic Canadian Library Webpages

While archives and special collections continue to welcome unique and valuable resources, small academic libraries can struggle with how to manage donation offers intended for their main collections. There is a need to be selective considering falling print circulation, workload pressures on library personnel, and space restrictions. Additionally, limited collections funds needed for more current and higher-demand resources can be strained by the higher processing costs of donated materials. These pressures are compounded by prospective donors seeking a home for items they no longer want, a perception that small academic libraries need all donations, and a lack of understanding about the qualifications and expertise of academic library workers. Clearly communicated and regularly reviewed guidelines can help discourage unwanted donations in ways that lessen alienating our patrons. This article provides a content analysis of donations webpages from small academic libraries in Canada to identify trends and provide support for libraries reviewing their own policies and procedures in an effort to manage donor expectations.

A Software Package and Data Set for the Personal Protective Equipment Matching Problem During COVID-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Get Us PPE provided a platform aimed at connecting prospective donors of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prospective recipients of PPE. Requests by donors and recipients were collected over time, and periodically, the PPE matching problem was solved in order to instruct each donor to ship a certain quantity of PPE to a given recipient. The objectives of the PPE matching problem include maximizing the recipients’ fill rate, minimizing the total shipping distance, minimizing the holding time of PPE, and minimizing the number of shipments of each donor. This paper presents a software framework to facilitate the development of methodologies to solve the PPE matching problem and their testing on a real-world data set collected by Get Us PPE during the COVID-19 pandemic. Insights to the Structural Basis for the Stereospecificity of the Escherichia coli Phytase, AppA.

AppA, the Escherichia coli periplasmic phytase of clade 2 of the histidine phosphatase (HP2) family, has been well-characterized and successfully engineered for use as an animal feed supplement. AppA is a 1D-6-phytase and highly stereospecific but transiently accumulates 1D-myo-Ins(2,3,4,5)P4 and other lower phosphorylated intermediates. If this bottleneck in liberation of orthophosphate is to be obviated through protein engineering, an explanation of its rather rigid preference for the initial site and subsequent cleavage of phytic acid is required. To help explain this behaviour, the role of the catalytic proton donor residue in determining AppA stereospecificity was investigated. Four variants were generated by site-directed mutagenesis of the active site HDT amino acid sequence motif containing the catalytic proton donor, D304. The identity and position of the prospective proton donor residue was found to strongly influence stereospecificity. While the wild-type enzyme has a strong preference for 1D-6-phytase activity, a marked reduction in stereospecificity was observed for a D304E variant, while a proton donor-less mutant (D304A) displayed exclusive 1D-1/3-phytase activity. High-resolution X-ray crystal structures of complexes of the mutants with a non-hydrolysable substrate analogue inhibitor point to a crucial role played by D304 in stereospecificity by influencing the size and polarity of specificity pockets A and B. Taken together, these results provide the first evidence for the involvement of the proton donor residue in determining the stereospecificity of HP2 phytases and prepares the ground for structure-informed engineering studies targeting the production of animal feed enzymes capable of the efficient and complete dephosphorylation of dietary phytic acid.
