Intelligent computer hospital management systems, intelligent medical diagnostic expert systems and intelligent surgical robots have revolutionized the medical field. Therefore, the attentions which are paid to artificial intelligence in cancer diagnosis and cancer treatment are on the rise. Some breakthroughs have also been made in the application of imaging diagnosis, pathological diagnosis, oncology surgery, oncology radiotherapy, drug development and cancer screening. Artificial intelligence is gradually changing the traditional medical model, which is a future direction and trend of human medical development. Here, we delineate the concept and development of artificial intelligence, and its application and prospect in the diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors.

Mobile Hardware-Information System for Neuro-Electrostimulation

The article describes organizational principles of the mobile hardware-informational system based on the multifactorial neuro-electrostimulation device. The system is implemented with two blocks: the first block forms the spatially distributed field of low-frequency monopolar current pulses between two multielement electrodes in the neck region. Functions of the second block, specialized control interface, are performed by a smartphone. Information is exchanged between two blocks through a telemetric channel. The mobile hardware-informational system allows to remotely change the structure of the current pulses field, to control its biotropic characteristics and to change the targets of the stimulation. Moreover, it provides patient data collection and processing, as well as access to the specialized databases. The basic circuit solutions for the neuro-electrostimulation device, implemented by means of microcontroller and elements of high-level hardware integration, are described. The prospects of artificial intelligence and machine learning application for treatment process management are discussed.

<p style="text-align: justify;">In this paper, some terms of Artificial Intelligence are defined. Some present and potential applications of knowledge based systems are presented in the field of wine-making. Areas of concern were: multi sensor fusion, prediction by model cooperation, and diagnosis. Artificial intelligence techniques can indeed be applied for aiding the wine-maker in his choices. They facilitate the combination between experience and recent progress in technology. When associated with statistical processing, they allow knowledge sources to be used more effectively. Beyond wine-making, the prospects of artificial intelligence are promising for research and food industry, especially for improving the robustness of measurement systems (multi-sensors, sensors interpreted or validated by models), and for process diagnosis (risk prediction, action proposal).</p>

Building of the petroleum drilling fluid engineering design expert system

The targets, importance, difficulties, strategies, general function frame and technology frame of Petroleum Drilling Fluid Engineering Design Expert Ssytem(PDFEDES) were discussed. A brief introduction to the special domain and application cases of the PDFEDES are given. A good prospect of artificial intelligence in petroleum exploration engineering is presented.

RESEARCH ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND EXPERT SYSTEMS IN GEOGRAPHY

The author, in a report on the status and prospects of artificial intelligence and expert systems in geography, provides interesting insights into Soviet work in this field. Items cited in the bibliography indicate both the growing familiarity of Soviet scholars with Western work on the subject and an increasing volume of Soviet research. A simplified working design of an expert system is elaborated and a “productions” logical structure for its operation outlined.
