Implementasi Program Audit Kasus Stunting di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Guntur 1

The prevalence of stunted toddlers in Demak Regency in 2021 is 25,5%. This prevalence figure is above the threshold (cut off) that has been universally agreed upon. There are 7 Community Health Centers that are the locus of stunting in Demak Regency, including Guntur 1 Community Health Center. This research aims to determine the implementation of the stunting case audit program in the Guntur 1 Community Health Center working area. This study uses a qualitative method. The informants in this research consisted of the Head of Guntur 1 Community Health Center, the Guntur 1 Community Health Center Nutritionist, the Village Midwife, Cadres from Temuroso Village and Tlogorejo Village, as well as mothers of stunted and non-stunting toddlers. Data collection through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The result of this research indicate that the implementation of the stunting case audit program in the Guntur 1 Community Healt Center working area is quite good. The actor categories, decision making, benefits, program implementers, actor strategies, action programs, communication and bureaucratic structures are good. In the categories of resources and compliance and responsiveness there are problems and obstacles. The suggestion of this research is for the community health center to increase intervention with the community in preventing stunting.

Implementation of Software for Learning Message Transmission Using Morse Code

The article presents the implementation of software for training message transmission using Morse code. This is a method of sign coding when letters of the alphabet, numbers, punctuation marks and other symbols are represented as sequences of short and long signals called dots and dashes. It is intended for transmission over serial communication channels. A unique feature of Morse code is the ability to be encoded and decoded by humans without the use of special terminal devices. The paper shows a software implementation of processing input characters using a telegraphic key, it includes: various mathematical requirements and conditions that allow you adjusting to each user, provided that his input speed will either fall or remain unchanged. However, it is possible to adjust the minimum duration threshold in such a way that the system will slowly adapt to a slow increase in input speed. At the same time, the higher the value of the minimum threshold, the faster the adaptation is; however, it will fall within the limit of the maximum input speed that the device can recognize. During the implementation of the program, a flow chart of message transliteration, signal reception and transmission was developed. The whole program implements the following functions: a simple and intuitive translator, with audio output, a simulator for consolidating the skill of entering Morse code using a key; consolidating the skills of recognition and decoding by ear. To create the final application for training, the Processing toolkit was chosen, since its key parameter when choosing a development tool has a simple writing syntax to increase the speed of writing code, as well as the ability of the environment to work with the communication channel of the microcontroller.

Exploring the Path of Social Welfare Organizations' Participation in Community Children's Education --Taking Baoji's “Star Wish” Program as an Example

For a long time, children's education has been mainly focused on school education and family education, while the community, as an important place for children to live and grow up, is often neglected, resulting in the lack of community education function. Take the "Star Wish" program implemented by Baoji Sanlian Social Work Service Center (hereafter: Sanlian Social Work) as an example. We analyze and consider the effect of public welfare organizations' participation in community children's education from the implementation of the program. We need to improve the related facilities further, increase publicity, improve the relevant policy system to make it more reasonable, and increase cooperation among schools, families, and communities to form a joint effort in education.

Training for Elite Team-Pursuit Track Cyclists-Part II: A Comparison of Preparation Phases in Consecutive World-Record-Breaking Seasons.

To compare the training characteristics of an elite team pursuit cycling squad in the 3-month preparation phases prior to 2 successive world-record (WR) performances. Training data of 5 male track endurance cyclists (mean [SD]; age 23.4 [3.46]y; body mass 80.2 [2.74]kg; 4.5 [0.17]W·kg-1 at LT2; maximal aerobic power6.2 [0.27]W·kg-1; maximal oxygen uptake 65.9 [2.89]mL·kg-1·min-1) were analyzed with weekly total training volume by training type and heart rate, power output, and torque intensity distributions calculated with reference to the respective WRs' performance requirements. Athletes completed 805 (82.81) and 725 (68.40)min·wk-1 of training, respectively, in each season. In the second season, there was a 32% increase in total track volume, although track sessions were shorter (ie,greater frequency) in the second season. A pyramidal intensity distribution was consistent across both seasons, with 81% of training, on average, performed below LT1 power output each week, whereas 6% of training was performed above LT2. Athletes accumulated greater volume above WR team pursuit lead power (2.4% vs 0.9%) and torque (6.2% vs 3.2%) in 2019. In one athlete, mean single-leg-press peak rate of force development was 71% and 46% higher at mid- and late-phases, respectively, during the preparation period. These findings provide novel insights into the common and contrasting methods contributing to successive WR team pursuit performances. Greater accumulation of volume above race-specific power and torque (eg,team pursuit lead), as well as improved neuromuscular force-generating capacities, may be worthy of investigation for implementation in training programs.

What happens after the funding ends?: A qualitative sustainability investigation of emergency department-based peer support programs implemented as part of Indiana's opioid state targeted response initiative

Introduction: In 2017, funding disseminated through the US Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration's Opioid State Targeted Response (STR) program accelerated the expansion of peer recovery support services across several states to engage emergency department patients presenting with opioid use disorder. While there is some literature on the initial implementation of these programs, little is known about their sustainability after the STR funding's end. Identifying what happened to these programs is a key component of understanding their ultimate impact and can inform future activities to develop, fund, or sustain similar efforts. Methods: We collected qualitative data from six organizations that participated in Indiana's STR-funded Recovery Coaching and Peer Support Initiative (RCPSI). The semi-structured interview guide was designed to gather data related to eight domains of sustainability (i.e., environmental support, funding stability, partnerships, organizational capacity, program evaluation, program adaptation, program evaluation, communications, and strategic planning). The analysts followed a deductive-inductive analysis approach, using the eight domains as an a priori coding structure and developing higher-level inductive themes. Results: A total of ten individuals (roles included 4 Program Supervisors, 2 Nurse Administrators, a Psychiatric Social Worker, a Mobile Treatment Manager, a Grant Coordinator, and a Vice President of Planning) participated in six interviews. Two programs did not sustain services, primarily because they lacked a sufficient volume of eligible patients to justify services. Factors identified as supporting sustainability in the other four programs included (1) identification of alternate funding sources, (2) evolving internal support for ED-based opioid use disorder treatment, and (3) investment in internal and external relationships. Furthermore, these themes operated across multiple sustainability domains. Conclusions: The findings illustrate a dynamic interplay between program context and multiple theorized sustainability domains that impacted the viability of RCPSI programs after the end of STR funding. Results indicate a need for a better understanding of the factors influencing the sustainability of programs supported by federal funding to mitigate the opioid crisis, and such findings will likely apply to a broader range of grant-supported programs.

Critical analysis of Rwanda’s Digital skills and entrepreneurship training toward solving youth unemployment

This study critically examines the role of digital skills and entrepreneurship training in addressing the persistent issue of youth unemployment in Rwanda. The paper primarily anchors on the Human Capital Theory and Entrepreneurship Theory to provide a solid theoretical framework, tying together education, skill development, and entrepreneurial activity as vital drivers of productivity, job creation, and economic development. By employing a qualitative methods approach that utilises qualitative stakeholder interviews, this research evaluates the effectiveness of the various policies and programs aimed at fostering digital and entrepreneurship skills to young people in Rwanda, to promote employment. The research unveils that these programs hold significant potential in equipping the Rwandan youth with relevant skills and nurturing an innovative and entrepreneurial culture. However, it also highlights key areas requiring attention: the lack of robust follow-up mechanisms and the need for continued support post-training. It advocates for policymakers and program implementers to prioritize these aspects to maximize their initiatives' impact. The implications of this study extend beyond Rwanda's borders as countries worldwide grapple with similar challenges. Therefore, the insights gleaned from Rwanda's approach could guide other nations in leveraging digital skills and entrepreneurship training to combat youth unemployment in the digital age. It concludes by recommending future research directions, including maintaining program relevance in the ever-evolving digital landscape and instituting more effective support mechanisms for venture sustainability.

Adult Education Program Implementers’ Understanding and Usage of Strategy Policy Documents in Addis Abab City Administration, Ethiopia

This study was targeted to assess adult education program implementers’ understanding towards adult education policy documents and usage of the documents in Addis Ababa City Administration. In order to guide the study qualitative method was applied. Accordingly, qualitative data was gathered using interview and document analysis. Qualitative data like views of respondents and result gained from document analysis were discussed by narrating the evidences/responses in words. As the findings of this study reveals, majority of adult education program implementers lack understanding about the policy documents of adult education sector; there is no established and sustainable awareness creation system and capacity building program for newly employed and other personnel; non-existence an established structure to lead adult education program according to the designed strategy documents are some of the results of the research. In order to overcome the challenges mentioned above adult education implementing organizations have to launch continuous professional development (CPD) program for implementers of adult education program. Consequently, implementers of the program can get first-hand information on the policy documents on one hand and they can also upgrade their profession on the other hand.

Peningkatan Nilai Ekonomi Kotoran Kambing di Desa Sanankerto melalui Pembentukan Kelompok Tani

Sanankerto Village has an abundant number of livestock (goats), resulting in a significant accumulation of goat manure, which poses a potential health threat to the residents. To enhance the economic value of goat manure in Sanankerto Village, it is necessary to establish an institution focused on managing goat manure waste from upstream to downstream, namely a farmers' group. This community service program aims to initiate the formation of the Sanankerto Village Farmers' Group, with a focus on organizational quality systems, including vision, mission, objectives, quality policies, organizational structure, task mapping, SOPs, and work instructions (IK). Using the PRA (Participatory Rural Appraisal) method, an agreement was reached between the program implementers and Sanankerto Village officials to establish the farmers' group. Due to time constraints, the reported program for forming the farmers' group covers only the formulation of the vision, mission, objectives, and quality policies. This program successfully formulated the vision, mission, and quality policies of the farming group, although further action is still required for full implementation. Based on the achievements to date, it can be concluded that the establishment of the farming group using the PRA method has successfully raised community awareness of the economic potential of goat manure

Leveraging AI-driven training programs for enhanced organizational security awareness

Organizations today face an increasing array of cyber threats that are more sophisticated and targeted, often exploiting human vulnerabilities rather than technical flaws. Traditional security awareness programs frequently fail to adequately prepare employees to recognize and respond to these evolving threats. This paper explores the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance organizational security awareness training programs, offering tailored, dynamic, and interactive learning experiences. This research serves as a valuable resource for both academia and industry in advancing the understanding and enhancement of organizational security awareness.

Evaluation of Reading Empowerment Asserting Connection at Home (REACH): Performance of Grade 7 Learners

In the Philippines, reading is a persistent challenge that requires continuous remediation with the results of the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) from both 2018 and 2022, and the country has been at the bottom of the rankings. Thus, the goal of this study is to strengthen reading remediation. This study focused on the evaluation of a reading program implemented; the Reading Empowerment: Asserting Connection at Home (REACH), and its relationship to the performance of Grade 7 learners in relation to reading. The participants of this study were 96 secondary school English teachers because they are field implementers of the reading program and were selected through a proportional stratified random sampling to ensure that each cluster was represented. The study collected MPS results from three successive school years and evaluated the implementation of the reading program. The questionnaire was validated and researcher-made. Based on the findings, the hypotheses were partially supported. It was revealed that there was a significant relationship between the REACH evaluation and the school’s reading performance, particularly between the Product evaluation and the school’s reading performance during SY 2022-2023, and between the overall REACH evaluation and the school’s reading performance during SY 2023-2024. Furthermore, there was a positive relationship between the REACH Evaluation in terms of Context and Psychological Component. It was recommended that curriculum implementers continue the implementation of Reading Empowerment: Asserting Connection at Home (REACH), but this time, we focused on strengthening the other components of the CIPP Evaluation to improve the results of the reading program.

A mixed-method evaluation of the New York State Healthy Pantry Initiative: application of the SNAP-Ed evaluation framework

ABSTRACT Food pantry nutrition environments are important settings for improving access to healthful foods among food-insecure populations. The Healthy Pantry Initiative (HPI) used policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) changes to improve the food pantry nutrition environment from October 2018 through September 2019. Program implementers assessed the need for PSE changes, developed action plans, and collected baseline, implementation, and follow-up data. Guided by the SNAP-Ed Evaluation framework, the collected data were used to capture information about HPI need, planning, adoption, implementation, and reach, from the perspective of frontline nutrition educators.

Community-Based Participatory Research: Lessons and Challenges. Symposium Special Communication.

Community-based participatory research is an equitable and wholesome approach that aims to respectfully collaborate with the communities that it seeks to impact. It offers everyone a seat at the table when trying to create transformative clinical, behavioral, and health services change. Oral health scientists and program implementers can apply this framework for research and programming in communities where past approaches have not necessarily benefited the peoples or their communities in an equitable manner.

Implementing Effective School-Based Mental Health Services: A Guide for School Counselors

Across the United States, the number of children with mental health conditions has continued to rise. However, access and utilization of mental health services vary greatly. School-based mental health complements comprehensive school counseling and provides an opportunity for K–12 students to receive needed treatment they may not otherwise have access to. School counselors are well positioned to support the development, implementation, and sustainability of effective school-based mental health programming. We provide an overview of implementation science and case examples that detail the school counselor’s role in this work.

A stakeholder perspective on the necessary conditions for successfully implementing parenting interventions in Botswana.

Encouraging positive parenting practices through evidence-based interventions is vital for the achievement of SDG target 16.2, which aims to eradicate all forms of violence against children while promoting their safety and mental wellbeing. As low- and middle- income countries increasingly adopt parenting programs, policymakers and implementers face the challenge of efficiently transporting, adapting, and implementing them across multiple settings. This study seeks to evaluate the real-world experiences, challenges, and best practices in implementing parent support programs in Botswana. A series of interviews with program implementers and stakeholders from governmental and non-governmental organizations were conducted. Key informants from governmental and non-governmental institutions were recruited through purposive and snowball sampling and 17 practitioners participated in the study. Data collection was carried out through online Zoom video conferencing at a convenient time and location for participants. The findings indicate several factors that contribute to the successful implementation of parenting programs in Botswana, including (a) enabling factors such as supportive policies, regulations and guidelines, (b) innovative factors such as capacity building, program adaptation and mixed method program delivery, (c) bridging factors through collaborations with skilled organizations, and (d) intra-organizational factors such as organizational resources, program sustainability, and support for program staff. No single organization or strategy can sustainably foster positive parenting support in Botswana. Instead, a collective and collaborative learning approach is necessary to develop lasting and scalable solutions.

A case study on evaluation of the context, input, process, product (CIPP) implementation in the child-friendly school program

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) program at Al Mumtaz Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Pontianak using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Evaluation Model. Through field research and purposive sampling, it delves the experiences and perceptions of principals, vice-principals, students, teachers, and parents on the program's impact. The school has successfully implemented the CFS program, noted for its qualified teachers with professional educational backgrounds and a focus on religious knowledge. The context evaluation revealed that the program aligns with child-friendly school policies, receiving a very positive evaluation and documented by official decrees. Input evaluation indicates Al Mumtaz meets all criteria including qualified staff, infrastructure, educator training, and engagement from students and parents. Process evaluation highlights the school’s effectiveness in facilitating positive educational dynamics, with non-violent disciplining, affection towards students, democratic educational practices, and teachers as role models. Finally, product evaluation shows significant achievements in fostering students' holistic development across various dimensions such as honesty, tolerance, communicative skills, democracy, social concern, responsibility, environmental care, and academics. The suggestion for this school involves establishing an organizational framework within the child-friendly school initiative to facilitate the efficient allocation of responsibilities and to confirm that the program’s monitoring and evaluation procedures are conducted in a more organized and methodical manner.

Implementation and Evaluation Strategies for Pharmacogenetic Testing in Hospital Settings: A Scoping Review.

Pharmacogenetic testing in clinical settings has improved the safety and efficacy of drug treatment. There is a growing number of studies evaluating pharmacogenetic implementation and identifying barriers and facilitators. However, no review has focused on bridging the gap between identifying barriers and facilitators of testing and the clinical strategies adopted in response. This review was conducted to understand the implementation and evaluation strategies of pharmacogenetic testing programs. A PRISMA-compliant scoping review was conducted. The included studies discussed pharmacogenetic testing programs implemented in a hospital setting. Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed design methods were included. A total of 232 of the 7043 articles that described clinical pharmacogenetic programs were included. The most common specialties that described pharmacogenetic implementation were psychiatry (26%) and oncology (16%), although many studies described institutional programs implemented across multiple specialties (19%). Different specialties reported different clinical outcomes, but all reported similar program performance indicators, such as test uptake and the number of times the test recommendations were followed. There were benefits and drawbacks to delivering test results through research personnel, pharmacists, and electronic alerts, but active engagement of physicians was necessary for the incorporation of pharmacogenetic results into clinical decision making. Further research is required on the maintenance and sustainability of pharmacogenetic testing initiatives. These findings provide an overview of the implementation and evaluation strategies of different specialties that can be used to improve pharmacogenetic testing.

MODERN MECHANISMS OF NON-STATE ACTORSIN THE SOCIAL PROTECTION SYSTEM PARTICIPATION

The article is devoted to the current topic of development of the social protection system. Statistics show that the number of citizens demanding support from the state is growing: society is aging, there is an increase in the number of people with disabilities, and the number of inpatient social service organizations is growing. The total number of disabled people is more than 11 million people, the number of lonely elderly people is more than 7 million people, which requires the development of modern mechanisms for social protection of the population. The theoretical analysis made it possible to highlight the features of understanding and propose an expanded description of the category “social protection” from the perspective of the individual and the state, including social security, guarantees, assistance, support¸ compensation, insurance, generally characterized by the consumption of all types of social services within the framework of the state social policy . The proposed theoretical three-level model of providing social protection takes into account factorial and dynamic elements and can be the basis for building an effective social security system with the involvement of socially oriented non-profit organizations. The analysis of statistical data revealed an increase in the number of volunteers in the implementation of civil initiatives of socially oriented non-profit organizations, which requires systematic development and implementation in state social support programs to increase the efficiency of social protection processes. A study of the target audience's awareness of the work of socially oriented non-profit organizations confirmed the need to popularize ongoing social projects to expand the scope of social services. The proposed generalized model of the mechanism of social interaction when including the resources of socially oriented non-profit organizations based on forecasting social processes will make it possible to effectively manage the formation of social support programs for the population to increase the efficiency of social protection processes.

Growing community-based composting programs in China: Implementation and policy lessons from eight cases

Localised processing of waste into resources is a prime target towards circular economy, yet community-led composting programs have reported significant implementation challenges. There are no implementation process models or guidelines for programs spanning community, waste, governance, legislation domains: each community learns anew. Here we report a multi-case study of community-led composting program implementations in eight urban sites in China. In-depth key-informant interview information was analysed as cycles of activity towards increasingly-complex needs/targets (like simple recycling; complex composting). Cross-community comparisons suggest transferable implementation lessons: delegation of certain roles is more effective than simply involving stakeholders; enthusiasts can significantly mobilize stakeholders but cannot replace them; paperwork burden could negate funding availability benefits; access to specific expertise (technical, legal, operational) at crucial moments was key; stakeholder learning was most effective via personal meetings and introductions. City policies incorporating these implementation lessons could facilitate scaling-up in China. Future studies can investigate generalizability.

Developing community-based physical activity interventions and recreational programming for children in rural and smaller urban centres: a qualitative exploration of service provider and parent experiences

BackgroundChildren’s physical inactivity is a persisting international public health concern. While there is a large body of literature examining physical activity interventions for children, the unique physical activity context of low-density communities in rural areas and smaller urban centres remains largely underexplored. With an influx of families migrating to rural communities and small towns, evaluations of health promotion efforts that support physical activity are needed to ensure they are meeting the needs of the growing populations in these settings. The aim of this community-based research was to explore service providers’ and parents’ perspectives on physical activity opportunities available in their community and recommendations toward the development and implementation of efficacious physical activity programming for children in rural communities and smaller urban centres.MethodsThree in-person community forums with recreation service providers (n = 37 participants) and 1 online community forum with the parents of school-aged children (n = 9 participants) were hosted. An online survey and Mentimeter activity were conducted prior to the community forums to gather participants’ views on the barriers and facilitators to physical activities and suggestions for activity-promoting programs. The service provider and parent discussions were audio-recorded, transcribed verbatim, and analyzed following a deductive approach guided by Hseih and Shannon’s (2005) procedure for direct content analysis. A code list developed from the responses to the pre-forum survey and Mentimeter activity was used to guide the analysis and category development.ResultsSeven distinct categories related to the existing physical activity opportunities and recommendations for programs in rural communities and smaller urban centres were identified during the analysis: (1) Recovery from Pandemic-Related Measures, (2) Knowledge and Access to Programs, (3) Availability, (4) Personnel Support, (5) Quality of Programs and Facilities, (6) Expenses and Subsidies, and (7) Inclusivity and Preferences.ConclusionTo improve the health and well-being of children who reside in low-density areas, the results of this study highlight service provider and parent recommendations when developing and implementing community-based physical activity programs and interventions in rural and smaller urban settings, including skill development programs, non-competitive activity options, maximizing existing spaces for activities, and financial support.

Understanding the perspectives of a teacher educator and pre‐service teachers toward an immersive STEM experience

AbstractThis study explored the nuanced perspectives of a teacher educator and primary pre‐service teachers regarding their participation in an immersive STEM experience. Employing a descriptive case study methodology augmented by storytelling techniques, our study aimed to unravel the complex dynamics inherent in such educational initiatives. Through the lens of figured‐world analysis, we uncovered the tensions and dualities that permeate this immersive learning environment. Our findings revealed a complex interplay of perspectives, highlighting the challenges and opportunities encountered by both educators and learners. By elucidating the nature of their experiences, this research contributes to a deeper understanding of immersive STEM education and offers insights into its effective implementation in initial teacher education programs.
