Exploration of the Project to Strengthen the Profile of Pancasila Students in Islamic Education

This study aims to explore the role of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) as a means of achieving student character through Pancasila values. Through literature studies, this study examines how applying P5 provides opportunities for students to experience knowledge as a process of strengthening character and utilizing the surrounding environment as a learning resource. The Pancasila student profile dimension emphasizes that education focuses on cognitive abilities and students' attitudes and behaviors as citizens of Indonesia and the world. Educators are important in helping students grow their capacity and build noble morals to the Pancasila student profile. In addition, Islamic education plays a central role in shaping the character of the young generation with noble character, in addition to social and environmental factors, media influence, and government policies. Thus, Islamic education is a key element in producing a young generation that is qualified and moral by the values of Pancasila.

Evaluating the Impact of the Pancasila Student Profile Project on Developing Student Competencies

This study explores the role of education in enhancing essential competencies aligned with contemporary demands, focusing on the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) project within Indonesia's independent curriculum. The research aims to analyze the implementation of the P5 initiative in Sekolah Penggerak in Siak Regency and its effect on students' 4C skills (collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity). Employing a descriptive research design with both quantitative and qualitative approaches, data was gathered through questionnaires and interviews, then analyzed statistically. Random sampling was used to select participants. The findings indicate that teachers in Siak Regency's Sekolah Penggerak perform well, with an average score of 3.73. The P5 implementation by students is rated very highly, averaging 4.32. In terms of 4C skills, students demonstrate excellent collaboration (4.51) and communication (4.29) abilities, while their critical thinking (4.15) and creativity (4.14) are classified as good. A correlation test reveals a positive relationship between P5 implementation and the development of 4C skills.

EXPERT OPINIONS ON THE PRACTICE OF CREATING DIGITAL STUDENTS PROFILES IN UNIVERSITIES

This article presents the results of an empirical study on the creation of digital profiles of students, which are understood as a visualization of the competencies acquired by a student as a result of mastering basic and additional disciplines, as well as a tool and means of electronic communications of the university and business structures, primarily employers. The results and prospects of creating digital profiles become the subject of scientific discussion and theoretical comprehension. The research interest is related to the assessment of domestic experience in the context of digitalization of higher education. The creation of digital profiles of university students requires constant monitoring and correction, as it has the format of a pilot project and is not systematic. The issues of determining the content of a student's digital profile, the format of its presentation, the methods of collecting and systematizing a sufficient amount of information understandable to external stakeholders are not always clear. The questionnaires developed as part of the study made it possible to obtain an expert assessment of the practice of creating digital profiles of students in domestic universities. Features of Psychosomatic Symptoms in the Health Profile of Students

Introduction. Professional training of future specialists involves not only acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities and development of professionally important qualities, but also prevention of somatoform disorders among students that is understood as a tendency to feel, experience and report the presence of educational and professional stress in the form of physical symptoms, in particular, symptoms of anxiety. Leveling out psychosomatic symptoms that negatively affect the skin, respiratory, digestive, cardiovascular, and musculoskeletal systems of students will serve as the basis for a psychological prevention program. Purpose. The goal was to identify the features of psychosomatic symptoms in the health profile of students. Methods and materials. A total of 654 adult students from Moscow universities participated in the study on a voluntary basis. In order to identify health conditions and physical symptoms reflecting the response to negative factors and hidden emotions, the participants were asked to fill out two questionnaires: “How healthy are you?” elaborated by O.P. Novykh and “Psychosomatics of our life,” developed by I.K. Odintsov. Then, the data were processed using the Pearson correlation coefficient and the Chaddock scale. Results. The following features of psychosomatic symptoms were revealed: average health condition characterized by an above-average level of disorders of the digestive system and negative skin reactions; average level of disorders of the cardiovascular system and general somatization indicators; below-average level of disorders of the respiratory system and the musculoskeletal system.

THE CONTENT ANALYSIS OF CULTURAL VALUES IN READING TEXT IN ENGLISH TEXTBOOK AT THE EIGHTH GRADE AT SMP NEGERI 1 GUNUNGSITOLI

Cultural values are the basis of thinking and views of a community group that has been studied and selected so that it is considered good, therefore cultural values based learning is very important for the easy generation of a nation. In Indonesia, cultural values in education are included in the independent curriculum and are referred to as the Pancasila student profile. These values must be applied in learning including in learning materials as a form of strengthening the cultural values of the nation's children in the midst of global progress. Given the importance of this, this study aims to analyze cultural values in reading texts contained in English textbooks at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli. The main purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the cultural values in the reading text, how the author implements the meaning in the sentence and whether the reading text in the book have met the purpose of the curriculum. This research used a qualitative approach and content analysis technique. The data analysis technique is based on the theory namely familiarizing and organizing, coding and reduction and interpreting and representing. Data collection was based on using check table instruments and document analysis. Data were collected through analysis of reading texts in the English for Nusantara book at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsitoli. Then the data collected was processed qualitatively to analyze the patterns and meanings by the cultural values in the Pancasila student profile. The results showed that five dimensions were successfully adapted in the reading text, namely the dimension of faith, ear o almighty God and noble morals, the second dimension of global diversity, the third dimension of cooperation, the fourth dimension of independence and the fifth dimension of creativity. The only dimension that was not found was the critical reasoning dimension. The next finding is the meaning integration technique conveyed in the text sentences based on the results of the analysis, the researcher found two types of meaning adaptation in the sentences in the text, namely explicit and implicit. Between the two, the explicit adaptation technique is the most widely used by book authors while implicit is used the least. Based on these two findings, the researcher concluded that the author still needs to pay attention to embedding the value of the Pancasila student profile into the student reading text.

The Effects of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the Mutual Cooperative Attitude of Students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto

This study aims to determine the effects of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the mutual cooperative attitude of students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The research method used in this study is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach. The population in this study consists of seventh and eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The sample size is 237 students, determined using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques employed in this study include questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate a positive and significant impact of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on the mutual cooperative attitude of students at SMP Negeri 8 Purwokerto. The influence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project on students' mutual cooperative attitudes is measured at 0.376, which can be interpreted as the independent variable (X) - the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project - contributing 37.6% to the dependent variable (Y) mutual cooperative attitude. This can be seen in the students' mindset, which fosters collaboration and teamwork, social sensitivity and concern, and a sharing attitude.

Analysis of Affective Assessment in Measuring Elementary School Students' Critical Reasoning Ability in View of Gender

Affective assessment in looking at elementary school students' critical reasoning abilities is considered to need to be analyzed as a complex process of changing students' attitudes in implementing the Pancasila student profile. Analysis involves receiving and mastering data, data analysis, and data evaluation, which must be taught to students because these skills are very necessary in life. The aim of the research was to analyze the affective assessment of elementary school students' critical reasoning abilities in terms of gender. The research method used is quantitative research. The research subjects were 32 students in Class 5 of Keraton 1 State Elementary School for the 2024/2025 academic year, divided into 12 male students and 20 female students. Data analysis used the independent t test. The results of the research show that there is no significant difference in the form of affective assessment of critical reasoning ability, in terms of the gender of class V students. The results of the independent t test obtained a significance value of 0.204 > 0.05, meaning that the average critical reasoning ability of women (3.205) is higher. higher than men (3.085) with a difference of 1.120 which is considered not significant. The results of critical reasoning indicators (seeking information, assessing information, making conclusions, and making decisions) show that there are no significant differences based on student gender. The implication of the research is that teachers are able to improve critical reasoning skills, researchers can then analyze other factors or develop other research objects.

Transformation of Pancasila Student Profile: Integration of religious dimensions through school culture and character education in elementary schools

The transformation of the Pancasila Student Profile is a key effort in shaping the character and national identity of students in Indonesia. This study explores integrating religious dimensions into school culture to strengthen the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile at the elementary school level. The research method used is a literature study, in-depth analysis of educational policies, school practices, and relevant character education theories. The focus of this study is on implementing religious values as an integral part of school culture and its impact on the formation of student attitudes and behaviours through the Pancasila Student Profile. The literature reviewed includes various studies and reports highlighting the importance of religious values in character education and models of success from schools that have successfully integrated this dimension. The study results indicate that integrating religious values into school culture significantly strengthens students' commitment to the principles of Pancasila and contributes to the formation of characters that are more virtuous, responsible, and caring about the social environment. This study concludes that effective transformation of the Pancasila Student Profile requires a holistic approach involving all school elements in instilling positive religious and cultural values. Practical recommendations for educators and policymakers include developing curricula sensitive to religious values and increased training for teachers to support effective integration in school settings.

Uncovering student profiles. An explainable cluster analysis approach to PISA 2022

Educational data mining (EDM) applied to the wealth of data generated from international large-scale assessments (ILSAs) shows potential for identifying successful educational initiatives. Despite limited research on clustering methods in ILSAs, leveraging these methods to uncover student profiles can help decision-making in designing tailored programs. This study aims to identify and characterize 15-year-old student profiles using PISA 2022 data and reveal insights into the relationship between these profiles and factors such as ICT availability and use, gender, academic performance, and educational expectations. We analyzed PISA 2022 Spanish student data (n = 30,800) with a selection of 74 contextual variables, applying an end-to-end explainable cluster analysis methodology that integrates different machine learning (ML) and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) techniques. This methodology covered data pre-processing, dimensionality reduction, clustering, and classification to ensure data quality and result explainability. We obtained 16 derived variables, 7 student clusters, and an optimal XGBoost classifier with a global accuracy of 0.8643. Using local and global SHAP values, we interpreted clusters, finding that socio-economic status and ICT availability and use at home are the most important factors differentiating student profiles. Our findings suggest the need to emphasize (i) proper ICT accessibility and use, as well as student support networks to improve academic performance, (ii) gender-specific well-being programs, and (iii) the encouragement of educational expectations tailored to students’ gender and their exposure to higher education. These results pave the way for personalized academic policies and programs through ML-based tools for uncovering student profiles.

Instrument Construction and Exploration of Students' CollaborationSkillsBased on the Summated Rating Scale

One of the essential 21st-century skills that students must possess is the ability tocollaborate. However, profiling students' collaboration skills is challengingwithout valid and reliable instruments. Therefore, this research aims to map the profile of students' collaboration skills using valid and reliable instruments. This study is descriptive-explorative research with a quantitative approach. The research sample included 900 Islamic Senior High School/Madrasah Aliyahstudents, with 150 students participating in the instrument trials and 750 servingas the primary sample in this study. The results indicate that the collaborationability instrument is valid and reliable, as demonstrated by a loading factor value > 0.5, T-Value > 1.96, RMSEA 0.00 < 0.08, RMR 0.043, Std. RMR0.040, GFI 0.95, AGFI 0.87, NNFI 0.97, CFI 0.98, IFI 0.98, RFI 0.97, PNFI 0.85, and a composite reliability coefficient CR=0.909 from the second-order confirmatoryfactor analysis. The findings show that students' collaboration skills are moderate, with an average score of 26.4, which falls within the medium category. The distribution of students' abilities is as follows: 347 students (46.3%) are classifiedas having moderate abilities, 207 students (27.6%) as having high skills, and 196students (26.1%) as having low skills. Based on these results, teachers andstakeholders are encouraged to enhance students' collaboration skills throughstudent-centred learning approaches, such as project-based learning, which canprovide students with opportunities to engage and practice working together actively in the learning process.

Implementation Of The PERSIJU Program (Half-Day Friday Camp) For The Project Of Strengthening The Pancasila Student Profile In Early Childhood Education

Preschool Children are children who still need examples and direction in carrying out daily activities. Considering that ages 5-6 years interact more with the environment around them. One of the PERSIJU activities (Friday Half Day Camping) which is routinely held every 2 weeks. Persiju is an activity that gives children freedom to interact, practice socializing and practice independence and solidarity with their friends. The aim of this research is to train children's independence, socialization and hone the social skills of children aged 5-6 years as well as supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method used is qualitative. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews with supervisors, school principals and class teachers and documentation. The results of the research show that children are very enthusiastic about taking part in Persiju activities held at school, children actively participate in a series of Persiju game activities both independently and in groups which are carried out outside the classroom with the teacher. The role and support or permission of parents is one of the supporting factors in training independence, as well as honing the social skills of children aged 5-6 years, social skills that appear to include conversation, mutual understanding, cooperation, openness, empathy, motivation, positive feelings and feelings of equality. The inhibiting factor is facilities and infrastructure that still need to be added.

O PERFIL DO ESTUDANTE DO CURSO DE ADMINISTRAÇÃO MEDIANTE AS REPRESENTAÇÕES SOCIAIS DOS DOCENTES

This article aims to explore the perceptions of faculty members at the State University of Feira de Santana regarding the profile of students in the Administration program at UEFS. Social representations (SRs) are collective constructions that guide how individuals and groups interpret and interact with reality (Moscovici, 1978). Therefore, the study seeks to contribute to a reflection on the characteristics of the students from the perspective of developing autonomy and how these faculty perceptions can be used to improve teaching practices in the Administration program. The research, with a qualitative approach, used structured interviews and Bardin's Content Analysis, revealing that the majority of students are working professionals who face significant challenges such as lack of time and fatigue, which impact their autonomy and academic performance. The research also indicates that while some faculty are attentive to the students' specific needs, there is a need to adapt teaching practices to meet these students' particularities, promoting more flexible and integrated learning aligned with their realities.

ICT IN EDUCATION AND THE USE OF VIRTUAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS

In human societies, the desire to adapt the environment to their needs has resulted in technological inventions that have gradually changed the ways of living, social interaction and the ways of producing work, and more recently, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). With ICT being used as a form of social and everyday interaction and replacing textbooks, a new way of connecting to knowledge and a new student profile has emerged. At the same time, the context of the digital society itself requires the development of skills that enable the critical and creative use of ICT, which is essential for entering the job market and for everyday life itself. Given the increased use of technologies, the idea has emerged that aligns the use of ICT with an educational environment that prepares students for this new reality. As a result, there has been not only the insertion of digital technologies into pedagogical practice, but also artificial intelligence and virtual learning environments, inserting technologies into an educational context called Education 4.0. In this context, the aim of this article is to investigate the possibilities and advantages of using digital technologies as a teaching resource in terms of developing skills and competencies inherent to creation, the critical and creative use of technologies and, more specifically, the use of virtual learning environments in the context of face-to-face teaching in basic education.

Developing Observation Report Text Teaching Materials Using Flip HTML5 Application

Indonesian language learning implements an independent curriculum, making students the subjects and centers of learning. This curriculum emphasizes developing students' thinking skills in solving problems and projects that can shape character according to the Pancasila student profile and 21st-century skills. In this digital era, education should take advantage of this situation by developing teaching materials, such as converting texts into electronic formats that make it easier for students to access them at school or home. This study aims to produce an e-module of observation report texts for grade X vocational school students. The method used is research and development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study results indicate that this e-module is considered very valid by material and media experts and suitable for digital teaching. This e-module can be accessed online, allowing students to learn anytime and anywhere. Expert validation shows that this e-module effectively increases student accessibility and involvement in learning.

Profile of Pancasila Students Through Culture-Based Learning in Elementary Schools within the Independent Curriculum in Indonesia

The profile of Pancasila students is an essential characteristic that students must possess. However, in real-world conditions, it is still observed that students lack knowledge and appreciation of their own cultures, and interactions among students often lead to conflicts. The purpose of this research is to assess the application of culture-based learning in relation to the Pancasila Student Profile. This research is experimental in nature. The population as well as the sample consists of 15 fourth-grade students. The design used is a one-group posttest design. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using the One-Sample Test, resulting in a t-value of 5.041 and a t-table value of 1.76131. Since the t-value is greater than the t-table value, it can be concluded that culture-based learning has a positive impact on the Pancasila student profile, particularly in the aspect of global diversity.

IPSE: An Individualized Digital Environment for Strategic Planning at the University Level

AbstractThis study focuses on the design and the implementation of a digital environment aimed at fostering strategic planning competence in problem-solving through individualization features: the Individualized Planned Strategy Environment (IPSE). Within IPSE, students are engaged in a sequence of oriented activities, guiding them in constructing and following a theoretically justified plan for solving a mathematical problem, thus promoting a gradual integration between conceptual and procedural knowledge. IPSE envisages also meta-level activities, aimed at fostering the handling of multiple representations toward a unifying and structural view of the subject at stake. We discuss the results of a case study conducted with engineering freshmen at the University of Salerno, involved in problem-solving activities devoted to peer assessment. This led us to identify certain student profiles both theory- and data-driven, according to the students’ progress in using the components of Habermas’ rationality when solving a problem. We highlighted that some students show a full realization of the dynamic nature of Habermas’ model of rationality, where knowing, acting and communicating interact and intertwine.

Studying The Evolution of Audiobook Culture in Indonesian Inclusive Schools: Strategies and Obstacles

The study aims to describe the process of implementing audiobooks and describe the various challenges faced by teachers. This research is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. This research was carried out in 5 provinces, namely West Sumatra, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, North Kalimantan, Gorontalo, and North Maluku. Each province selected representatives from elementary, middle, high school, and special schools who have implemented audiobooks. Informants are teachers and students who have used audiobooks. The process of collecting data from teachers was carried out using the interview method and students through FGD. Data analysis in this research uses a thematic analysis model. The results of this research indicate that the initial challenges in using audiobooks are variations in the availability of facilities, students' digital literacy, and students' learning styles. Before starting learning, teachers must ensure that they are ready to accompany (understand audiobooks technically and substantively), ensure that students understand the technicalities of using audiobooks, and design learning according to the student's profile. Things that should be ensured in the learning process with audiobooks are (1) ensuring students' psychological and substantive readiness, (2) facilitating students who are able to learn quickly or slowly, and (3) being ready to respond to situations of student boredom and maximizing audiobooks as supporting materials to study independently. The biggest challenge is minimizing the potential for boredom, maintaining concentration, and ensuring that the information presented can be understood by students.

Teaching is a task that usually requires scientific research because, from it, knowledge is strengthened not only in the area of teaching performance but also in the development of pedagogical strategies. Considering these ideas, this article has proposed as a general objective, to characterize the research competencies of Health Sciences teachers in universities in Ecuador. In its methodological orientation, it is descriptive research with a documentary design that uses known databases, including Dialnet, Google Academic, and Scielo. Thus, authors and research are selected concerning the dimensions of teaching research competencies, that is, research, publications, methodological expertise, and digital literacy. Subsequently, the results are presented in categorical tables or analytical matrices that contrast the theoretical elements with some realities of universities in the country, specifically in the health area. Among the study findings, the need to strengthen teachers' research skills is specified based on their scientific production, the number of publications, and their task in terms of forging the student profiles they are in charge of in the classroom. It concludes with the projection of the desired teaching profile, in terms of skills for research in the field of health, which is pertinent to promote in higher education centers in Ecuador.

Developing an assessment instrument for strengthening the Pancasila student profile in web-based middle school mathematics teaching

This study aims to develop an assessment instrument for strengthening students' Pancasila profile in middle school mathematics teaching, which teachers can use. This research follows a development process using the Plomp model, consisting of three phases. The respondents involved in this study were six experts in mathematics education and information technology, 23 middle school mathematics teachers, and 1,297 students. The research results show that Aiken's V value is 0.89, which exceeds the v-table of 0.630, indicating good validity. The Cronbach Alpha reliability analysis results indicate a strong outcome, with a value of 0.751. Confirmatory factor analysis using the R program showed significant factor loadings with a p-value < 0.05. Apart from that, the achievement percentage for all dimensions is in the good category, with an average achievement of 87.06%. These results prove that the assessment instrument developed is suitable for teachers to measure the strengthening of Pancasila student profiles in mathematics teaching at school. The developed instrument can be used as an effective evaluation tool in mathematics teaching to strengthen the Pancasila Learner Profile and help identify areas that require improvement in teaching to achieve a more balanced profile across all dimensions.
