Optimization of Production Line Balance Based on The IE Method

As a part of the manufacturing industry, automotive parts manufacturing enterprises optimize their production line is of great significance to reduce production costs and improve the production efficiency of enterprises [1]. In this paper, we take the condenser production line of WF company as the research object, and we found that the production line has problems of low productivity and imbalance of the production line through investigation. We improve the balance of the production line based on the IE method, and finally help WF company to improve the production capacity and product quality, so that the balance rate of the condenser production line reaches a good level, and at the same time, it also provides a practical case of production line optimization for the whole manufacturing industry.

Research on the Impact of Digital Transformation on the Capital Labor Ratio of Enterprises

Having a good capital labor ratio is beneficial for improving the production efficiency of enterprises. In the process of digital transformation, enterprises can capture and utilize data information more comprehensively and quickly through digital technology, helping them make reasonable capital labor investment decisions and thereby affecting the capital labor ratio of enterprises. This study focuses on all A-share listed companies in China from 2010 to 2020 to verify the inherent logical relationship between digital transformation and capital labor ratio. Empirical research is conducted to demonstrate whether digital transformation has a significant impact on capital labor ratio, and the conclusions of the problem are summarized. Based on the conclusions, policy opinions are proposed at the government and enterprise levels.

Optimization of Curtain Wall Production Line Balance Based on Improved Genetic Algorithm

In recent years, construction engineering technology has been developing rapidly, and the application of curtain walls inside modern buildings is also increasing. However, with the increasing number of curtain wall orders, most factories are facing challenges in the market due to low productivity caused by a low balance rate of curtain wall production lines. This paper is useful in improving the balance rate of the curtain wall production line; firstly, we use the improved genetic algorithm to obtain the optimal sequencing scheme of the curtain wall production line. Then, the optimization plan is validated through FLEXSIM simulation, and the results show that the device utilization rate of each workstation reaches 80%. Finally, this paper designs an intelligent production factory for curtain walls, and then builds an intelligent production line for curtain wall columns for experiments. The experimental results show that the workstation operation time has been reduced from 360 s to 300 s; the production line balance rate has increased from 57.04% to 91.60%. Therefore, it can be concluded that the modified genetic algorithm is valid in improving the balance rate of curtain wall production lines and raising the production efficiency of enterprises.

Employee equity incentive and Enterprises’ ESG performance: An empirical study of Chinese A-share listed companies

There are some externalities in enterprise ESG practice, which will lead to insufficient investment in enterprise ESG. Internalizing the externalities of ESG is crucial to enhancing the practice ability of ESG and stimulating the internal motivation of enterprises. Based on the panel data of Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies from 2008 to 2020, this paper conducts an empirical analysis on the impact and mechanism of employee equity incentive on ESG performance of enterprises. The findings are as follows: (1) Employee equity incentive can significantly promote the ESG performance of enterprises and it is highly stable under the control of various dimensions. (2)The implementation of employee equity incentive in non-state-owned enterprises and enterprises with large market power has a stronger effect on promoting the ESG performance of enterprises; (3) Mechanism analysis shows that employee equity incentive can promote the ESG performance of enterprises by increasing the share of labor income and promoting the improvement of enterprise production efficiency. From the perspective of employee equity incentive, this paper provides theoretical support for improving the ESG performance of Chinese enterprises and promoting the ESG development path, which has both theoretical and practical significance.

Infl uence of complex functional additives on the growth and development of calves

The key to the production efficiency of enterprises engaged in the production of milk is properly reared replacement young animals, which allows systematically introducing more productive dairy cattle into the herd. The trends of recent years in the sector of rearing young Holstein cattle are obtaining average daily live weight gains of at least 850 g per day, insemination of heifers no later than 14 months, and consequently the introduction of fi rst-calf heifers into the herd at the age of 23-24 months. In order to achieve these purposes farms use various biological additives in the feeding program for heifers up to 6 months of age. The purpose of the research was to study the eff ect of complex functional additives Rumenfi t 50 and Rumenfi t 100 on the growth and development of heifers of Holstein breed. In order to conduct the experiment, 3 groups of heifers of Holstein breed were formed at the age of 2 months, selected according to the method of analog groups: control and two experimental. The heifers of the control group were fed the basic diet adopted on the farm. Animals of the 1st experimental group were added Rumenfi t 100 at the dose of 10 g/head/day to the starter compound feed, and Rumenfi t 50 at the dose of 5 g/head/day to the 2nd experimental group. On the base of the experimental data of the monthly accounting of live weight of animals, it was found that its dynamics and average daily gain were higher in the experimental groups, compared with the herdmates of the control group after the fi rst month of feeding complex functional additives Rumenfi t 50 and 100. At the same time, it is recommended to give preference to the addition of Rumenfi t 100 in the composition of compound feeds for calves during the rearing period up to 6 months of age, with the use of which higher results were obtained.

Global Value Chain Position and Corporate Environmental Performance: A Comparison of Domestic and Foreign Perspectives in China

Under the reality of global value chain (GVC) restructuring, the GVC is not only production networks, but also pollution sources that depend on production activities. Based on domestic and foreign markets, this paper proposes the hypothesis that different GVC locations have differential effects on pollution emissions. Using industrial pollution data and two models (a panel fixed-effects model and an instrumental variable two-stage least squares model), we find that increasing exported upstreamness and net upstreamness in GVC by one unit reduces pollution emissions by 3–7%, while increasing imported upstreamness raises pollution emissions by about 5%. We also find that the position in the GVC influences the green production efficiency of enterprises. To mitigate the environmental problems caused by GVC participation, we suggest that external industry regulations and internal technology absorption capacity should be enhanced. This paper provides useful policy implications for adjusting the GVC position of enterprises under the new international division of labor.

Can green credit policies improve corporate green production efficiency?

Green credit policy is a policy enacted by the government to induce enterprises to balance environmental management and green economic development, but how green credit policy affects the green productivity of enterprises in practical situations is a topic worth exploring. This paper uses a double difference model to investigate the impact of green credit policies on green productivity of corporate from 2007 to 2020. It is found that the implementation of the Green Credit Guidelines can significantly improve the green production efficiency of heavy polluting enterprises. The implementation of the Green Credit Guidelines has a greater effect on the green production efficiency of enterprises among enterprises with smaller commercial credit financing scale and enterprises with lower capital use efficiency than other enterprises. The impact of the Green Credit Guidelines on state-owned enterprises, large-scale enterprises, and enterprises in the central and western regions is more obvious. And the implementation of the Green Credit Guidelines can affect the green production efficiency of enterprises through the financing scale effect and financing cost effect. This study provides insights for the government to further standardize the green credit system and ensure the effectiveness of green credit policy implementation, and provides ideas to promote green development of enterprises by analyzing the influencing factors of their green production efficiency.

Safety Analysis of Small Rail Roadway Stacker Based on Parametric Design

The small rail roadway stacker is the core equipment of the automated three-dimensional warehouse. Its design directly affects the development trend of the logistics industry, enterprise production efficiency and economic benefits. In this paper, a parametric model of the small rail roadway stacker is developed using the parametric design method, according to the working principle and load-bearing. The safety of the small-sized tracked roadway stacker in three working states is analyzed using the finite element method, according to the working conditions and stress conditions of the small rail roadway stacker. Consequently, it is deduced that all the safety parameters meet the design requirements in the limit state. Moreover, the SolidWorks and ANSYS Workbench software are used for secondary development, while C# is used to compile the parametric design software of the small rail roadway stacker, which integrates the functions of three-dimensional model design, engineering drawing generation and finite element security analysis into a program software. Furthermore, by the visual parameter setting and command operation, the program background automatically calls the design software for design and safety analysis. Finally, the example verifies the efficiency of the parametric design software for the small rail roadway stacker.

Institutional Investor Network Embedding and Firms’ Total Factor Productivity

ABSTRACT The improvement of total factor productivity (TFP) can improve the production efficiency of enterprises and ultimately promote high-quality economic development. This paper takes Chinese A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2020 to examine the impact of institutional investor network embedding on Firms’ TFP. The study finds that institutional investor network embedding can promote the growth of Firms’ TFP. Institutional investor network embedding improves Firms’ TFP by improving information transparency and firms’ innovation level, alleviating agency problems, and playing an active role in supervision and governance. The positive impact of institutional investor network embedding on TFP is more significant among firms with low audit quality and corporate governance level. This conclusion holds true using alternative variables, changing the construction standard of institutional investor network, and using propensity score matching and the Heckman two-stage methods. This paper enriches the research on the influencing factors of Firms’ TFP and the economic consequences of institutional investor networks.

Comparison for the Characteristics of the OA, MRP, and ERP Systems

Information systems play varied roles in businesses and in the growth of businesses as a result of advancements in computer technology. On the comparison of MRP and ERP and the development process, certain scholars have offered their perspectives. There are, however, few researches that compare the traits of OA, MRP, and ERP in detail. In this paper, the features of office automation systems, material demand planning systems, and manufacturing resource planning systems are contrasted and discussed along with their historical development, present state, and various system goals. This study provides a summary of the OA, MRP, and ERP systems. The three MRP development stages are outlined, along with the distinctions between the relevant environment, production process, capacity needs, fundamental parts of e-commerce activities, management modules, and other characteristics. Enterprise managers can effectively improve the office and production efficiency of enterprises by analyzing, designing, implementing, and combining management knowledge of different systems. These results shed light on guiding further exploration of understanding the comparison of three system characteristics.

The impact of digital finance development on vertical specialization: evidence from A-share listed companies in China

PurposeThis study intends to explore the relationship between digital finance and the vertical specialization of firms. The following questions are discussed: (1) As a representative new financial development model, what is the role of digital finance in the vertical specialization of firms? (2) If digital finance improves the level of vertical specialization of firms, what is the mechanism behind such improvement? (3) How does digital finance impact the vertical specialization of firms in different regions, industries, and firms?Design/methodology/approachA two-way fixed-effect model of panel data is proposed to verify the relationship between digital finance and the vertical specialization of firms. This model is constructed by matching the city-level data of digital finance with the data of China's A-share listed companies from 2011 to 2018. Meanwhile, the instrumental variable (IV) method and difference-in-difference (DID) method are adopted to deal with the endogeneity problem of the model.FindingsThe authors' study finds that digital finance has significantly improved the level of vertical specialization of firms. The result is robust under the endogeneity consideration and a series of robustness tests. After the dimensionality of the index is reduced, the depth of digital finance usage is more conducive to the improvement of the vertical specialization of firms compared with the width of digital finance coverage and the level of financial digitization. Digital finance mainly improves the level of vertical specialization of firms by reducing transaction costs and increasing the market thickness of the intermediate products. Moreover, digital finance has certain heterogeneity in promoting the vertical specialization of firms, an effect that is more significant in the eastern region, manufacturing industry and state-owned enterprises (SOEs).Research limitations/implicationsThe first limitation is the mechanism test. This research only analyzes the mechanism from transaction cost and the market thickness of the intermediate products. With the rapid development of information technology, digital finance will be further integrated into people's production and life. There will then be more mechanisms that should be explored between digital finance and the vertical specialization of firms. Another limitation is the data sample of this paper. The conclusions of this research are based only on the data of listed companies. However, in the authors' opinion, the specialization level of small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) should be higher. Therefore, the conclusions of this work are underestimated, which can be considered as the lower limit of digital finance for enterprise specialization.Social implicationsAs a favorable financing channel to supplement traditional financial service functions, digital finance plays a critical role in the operating efficiency of enterprises and the effective allocation of macro resources. The authors' research shows that digital finance has significantly improved the vertical specialization of firms. This conclusion provides guides to improve the production efficiency of enterprises and the quality of economic development.Originality/valueThis paper has three main contributions. (1) The relationship between financial development and the vertical specialization of firms is innovatively discussed from the perspective of digital finance, which implies that digital finance can effectively promote the level of vertical specialization of firms. (2) This paper provides new perspectives and ideas to reveal the impact mechanism of digital finance on the real economy by systematically analyzing the mechanism of digital finance on the vertical specialization of firms from the perspectives of transaction costs and financing constraints. (3) The regional differences in the development of digital finance, industry differences in the vertical specialization of firms and differences in the nature of enterprise property rights are all under consideration, which improves the effectiveness and pertinence of digital finance in promoting the vertical specialization of firms.

Research on raw material ordering and transportation scheme of production enterprises based on genetic algorithm

With the deepening of China's reform and opening up and the gradual improvement of productivity level,the production enterprises of construction and decoration panels have gradually sprung up. In order to improve the production efficiency of enterprises and reduce the loss of raw materials, this paper establishes an analytical hierarchical model, and a 0-1 goal programming model. Based on the analysis of the problem, it pays attention to the connection between the questions. A rational solution for ordering and transporting raw materials based on the 0-1 goal programming model is also proposed in conjunction with real-life practice. In this paper, the problem is solved by building several mathematical models and the results are entered in Annex A and Annex B. After the model is implemented and tested, significant improvements are found. In addition, the model is improved by a genetic algorithm so that the model is well applicable and generalizable.

Impact of inter-provincial power resource allocation on enterprise production behavior from a multi-scale correlation perspective

The endowment of production factors is an important factor that restricts the choice of enterprise operation strategy, further affecting the regional industrial structure and the quality of economic development. Due to the fact of the divided power market and the administrative system with a spatial nesting structure in China, the power resource allocation policies have an important and heterogeneous impact on enterprise production behavior. Therefore, this study systematically explores the cross-level influence mechanism of regional power resource allocation on enterprise production efficiency, power efficiency, and location transfer with a hierarchical linear model (HLM) and the large sample data of 239,483 power-consuming enterprises in China's manufacturing industry from 2008 to 2015. The results indicate that: (1) There are nested relationships between the data and the HLM model is reasonable. That is, the enterprise production behavior under different provincial government management is heterogeneous. (2) The power resource allocation plays an important role in the choice of enterprise production behavior. Specifically, the increase of power resource allocation deepens the negative impact of enterprise factor substitution on enterprise production efficiency, weakens the positive impact of enterprise R&D intensity on enterprise power efficiency, and has a direct positive effect on enterprise location transfer. The above findings improve the research chain of economic consequences of resource allocation, deepen the understanding of the specific impact mechanism of energy policies on enterprise behavior, and provide a decision-making reference for the government to optimize the power supply structure and power grid layout.

Computer 5G Virtual Reality Environment 3D Clothing Design

With the increasing computing power of computer hardware and the continuous development of Internet technology, it has become possible to sell clothing online. In this context, virtual clothing shops and fitted clothing have also started to appear online and people have a new platform to choose their clothing. In the development of the clothing industry, e-tailoring will become a new trend, and if we look at the clothing industry as a whole, e-tailoring is bound to develop rapidly, as it is now difficult for people to find clothes they are happy with on the shelves. However, many clothing shops on online platforms are now able to provide a more limited service to people, making it difficult for consumers to buy the right clothes for them, and the situation of returns is more serious. So many consumers are still more willing to buy clothes in the physical shop; if we can use the virtual reality environment of three-dimensional clothing design, consumers in the online clothing shop can freely choose their favorite clothing, and then the selected clothing considers the proposed wear in accordance with the size of the consumer production of the human body virtual model to observe the three-dimensional effect so that consumers can choose more suitable clothing. This paper mainly studies the 3D clothing design method in the computer 5G virtual reality environment. In the context of the computer 5G era, this article discusses the characteristics of virtual reality technology in detail and proposes a modeling method for 3D clothing design based on virtual reality. Based on the research status of 3D clothing design at home and abroad, this paper further studies the construction of clothing virtual design and designs and realizes the functions of character virtual modeling, clothing virtual modeling, and accessory virtual modeling. According to the defects of the existing 3D clothing design, a more mature three-dimensional clothing design method based on actual needs is developed. This paper analyzes the 3D clothing design process in detail through demand analysis; constructs the system functional block diagram, system architecture diagram, style customization flowchart, database table, etc.; designs the 3D clothing design module; and designs the main clothing and portraits—part of the modeling. Experimental studies have found that as long as ∣ Z ∣ > 0.042547 is satisfied, the clothing and the human body part can be prevented from crossing when the clothing matches the human body. In this article, in order to prevent large deviations in the garment stitching process, if it is the front piece of the garment, take Z = 0.06 . If it is the back film, take Z = − 0.06 . Virtual reality technology-assisted clothing design has become a new model of computer-aided clothing design, which has successfully promoted the transformation of enterprise employment forms and the improvement of enterprise production efficiency. The percentages of the left neck point, right neck point, left hip point, and right hip point in the human feature points were 15%, 23%, 31%, and 31%, respectively.

Study on the Impact Mechanism of External Mergers and Acquisitions and Internal Productivity of Enterprises on Enterprise Performance

It has been a hot issue in enterprise economy that how to improve enterprise performance. In this regard, the paper has selected the sample of listed companies in Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) and Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) from 2016 to 2019, and adopted multiple linear regression model to empirically measure the interactive effect of M&A decision-making and enterprise production efficiency on enterprise performance. The study eventually got the following conclusion. First, in general, the improvement of enterprise production efficiency is more conducive to enterprise performance than M&A expansion. Second, compared with the traditional manufacturing industry and the emerging Internet industry, the supporting effect of enterprise production efficiency on enterprise performance is more obvious in the Internet industry, but the M&A measures in both industries show the delayed effect on enterprise performance. Third, with the expansion of enterprise assets, the influence of M&A decisions and enterprise production efficiency on enterprise performance gradually declines, which indicates that enterprises should adjust their development mode in time according to their own life cycle, and fully cope with the unknown problems and challenges.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of TiC/FeCrSiB coating by laser additive remanufacturing on shearer spiral blade

Spiral blades are the main working mechanism of shearers, and the service life of blades directly affects the coal-rock cutting progress and enterprise production efficiency. To repair the damaged spiral blade and improve the wear resistance, FeCrSiB coatings having different amounts of reinforcing TiC particles were fabricated on the blade material 34CrNiMo6 by laser additive manufacturing technology. The effects of the TiC particle weight fraction on the microstructure, phase, hardness and wear resistance of the TiC/FeCrSiB composite coating were systematically studied. A laser additive remanufacturing repair experiment of damaged spiral blades based on reverse engineering technology was performed. The results indicated that the composite coating had good metallurgical bonding with the 34CrNiMo6 substrate, and the TiC particles converged towards the top of the coating via Marangoni convection and dynamic viscosity. The composite coatings mainly consisted of γ-(Fe, Cr) solid solution, M 23 C 6 , Fe 2 B/Cr 2 B and TiC. By increasing the TiC concentration in the composites, the hardness and wear resistance of the coating were significantly improved. The Rockwell hardness, microhardness and wear rate of the 30%-TiC-reinforced coating were 74.82 HRC, 1143.61 HV 0.5 and 0.45 × 10 −2 mm 3 N −1 mm −1 , respectively, and the wear resistance of the composite coating was 9 times higher than that of the substrate. The experimental results show that the laser additive remanufacturing TiC reinforced coating was an effective method to repair damaged spiral blades and improve the service performance. • The TiC/FeCrSiB ceramic composite reinforced coating was fabricated. • The TiC tend to converged towards the top of coating via Marangoni convection and dynamic viscosity. • The wear resistance of composite coatings is 9 times higher than that of blade material.

The Impact of the Increase of Pollutant Discharge Fee on Tax Avoidance of Enterprises——Quasi Natural Experiment Based on Environmental Protection Tax

This paper focuses on the exogenous policy of changing sewage fees to taxes in 2018, studies the impact of increasing sewage fees on corporate tax avoidance, and explores its mechanism from the perspective of enterprise production efficiency. The results show that the change of sewage discharge fee to tax will promote corporate tax avoidance and aggravate the "throttling" of corporate tax avoidance by reducing enterprise production efficiency. The research results have important implications for the Chinese government to rationally adjust environmental control standards and formulate environment-friendly investment attraction.

Constraint effect of enterprise productivity based on constrained form variational computing

Abstract As the basic component of the national economic construction and development, the production benefits shown by enterprises directly determine the stable operation of the national economy. In recent years, the pace of enterprise economic construction innovation, as it is affected by a variety of factors and restrictions, has been the attention of the whole society. On the basis of understanding the variational calculation of constraint forms, according to the impact of financing constraint on the production efficiency of enterprises, this paper conducts an in-depth discussion on the actual constraint effects by building the corresponding research model and proposes corresponding solutions from the perspective of the development of the new era.

Research on the heterogeneous impact of carbon emission reduction policy on R&D investment intensity: From the perspective of enterprise's ownership structure

Confronted with the constraints of carbon dioxide reduction, R&D improves the production efficiency of enterprises. However, China's diversified economic entity structure makes enterprises with different attributes exhibit different R&D behaviors under the constraints of external carbon dioxide reduction. This paper takes Ten Thousand Enterprises Plan as an example, which belongs to the front-end policy and restricts the enterprise's carbon emission rights, reveals the impact of carbon dioxide reduction constraint on enterprises' R&D investment and alleviates the endogenous bias of previous research. Moreover, this paper explores the moderating effect of ownership structure on the relationship between carbon dioxide reduction policy and enterprises' R&D investment. The results show that the relationship between carbon reduction policy and enterprises' R&D investment in China is manifested as a significant “cost effect”, that is, mandatory carbon emission reduction policy limits the expansion of enterprises' R&D investment scale. Comparing state-owned enterprises with non-state-owned enterprises, carbon dioxide reduction policy can hardly stimulate the R&D investment in non-state-owned enterprises, while the state-owned enterprises can easily obtain factor resources, which decreases carbon emission reduction costs and improve R&D investment intention, resulting in stronger R&D behaviors.
