THE ART OF DESIGN, OPERATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES, RECIPES, SAFETY AND QUALITY OF FEEDS. IX -th session of the International School of Feeds

From July 1 to 6, 2024, with the support of the European Federation of Feed Manufacturers, the European Federation of Food Science and Technology, the Association "Union of Feed Manufacturers of Ukraine", Odesa National University of Technological (ONTU), ProAgro Group of Companies and the "Club of Young Scientists" ONUT held the IX -th session of the International School of Feeds "THE ART OF DESIGN, OPERATION AND IMPROVEMENT OF TECHNOLOGIES, RECIPES, SAFETY AND QUALITY OF FEEDS". Despite martial law, air alarms, blackouts and other obstacles, the session took place, and it was successful. The session was attended by scientists and specialists in the field of compound feed production, 3 scientific and project organizations: Interprojekt Gmbh, LLC "S-engineering", GK "Zernova stolitsia", 17 representatives from 8 compound feed enterprises: PrJSC MZVKK, Katerynopilsky elevator, AGROPROGRESS PLUS GRAIN COMPANY, VitagroNutryshyn, Kombifeed, MEGA KORM LLC, Kramar LLC, AGRICON Group, as well as Technik BG Gmbh, JSC ADM Illichivsk, LLC Sok-Trade. The session discussed trends in design, increasing the efficiency of operation and robotization of feed production, features of providing nutrients and biologically active substances, production of feed and regulation of their productive action, trainings in modern scientific laboratories of ONUT.

Формирование корпоративной культуры бережливого производства в современных условиях

The current stage of development of the national economy is associated with the formation of technological sovereignty of the country. Harsh sanctions, existing restrictions on access to certain market segments, digitalization and other challenges form an explicit request to Russian business to transform approaches to the organization of production, aimed primarily at increasing labor productivity, which is possible due to several main factors: the development of the production and technical base, maximizing the use of people-human capital and optimization of organizational factors. The first factor is quite costly and time-consuming in terms of implementation. The development of human and organizational factors can be carried out through lean production tools, the main problem of which is the significant resistance of personnel to new introductions. The work of foreign and domestic scientists and practitioners in the field of lean manufacturing and corporate culture has been studied, which allowed to formulate the author's definition of “corporate culture of lean production”, which allowed to develop a model of corporate culture of lean production at three levels of management (TOP, Middle, Down Management). The proposed model of transformation of the existing corporate culture into a corporate culture of lean production is considered in three planes with the designation of the stages of formation of a new corporate culture. It is noted that only voluntary adherence to a new ideology can maximize the effectiveness of innovations.

Production perspectives of a high-status polychrome jewellery set from the Hunnic period (mid-5th century AD) Carpathian Basin

Fifty years after the discovery of the Regöly grave, the emblematic Hunnic period archaeological assemblage from Hungary, an extensive scientific investigation was performed on the polychrome dress accessories of the high-status woman, often referred to as the “Princess of Regöly”, buried there. The multi-instrumental analyses aimed to characterise material and technological aspects of the gemstone-inlaid artefacts (a set of a pair of bow-brooches and a belt buckle), i.e., the manufacturing and decorative techniques as well as the chemical and mineralogical compositions. The non-destructive and non-invasive gemmological and geochemical analyses applied optical microscopes, handheld XRF, SEM-EDX and Raman microspectrometer. This study provides the first comprehensive examination of the Hunnic period polychrome jewellery, and highlights the potential of combining surface and subsurface analyses to specify garnet provenances. It presents the first evidence of use of antique and early medieval garnet sources during the early Migration period. The findings enhance understanding of the garnet supply chain and trade network, the production organisation and potential workshop connections. Significant differences of the brooches and the buckle reveal varying levels of luxury among the elite, providing insight into the social context of the polychrome jewellery associated with the “Princess of Regöly”.

Normas ambientales voluntarias, acciones de mitigación nacionalmente apropiadas y Pacto Verde

The increased voluntary environmental standards in coffee production have been a relevant issue, especially in sustainability and global value chain behavior. Likewise, measures such as Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) and the European Union's Green Deal influence this sector. Through a literature review, this article analyzes the interrelations between voluntary standards, NAMA, and the potential to comply with Green Deal requirements, as well as the impact on the productive sector. Standards can contribute to sustainable development goals and emissions reduction, but they are not the ultimate solution to improve the conditions of primary producers. From a market access perspective, productive organizations that have applied sustainability standards and countries with NAMA strategies for the coffee sector are better prepared to comply with the Green Deal. However, the need for public policies to support the sectors, the generation of adequate financing mechanisms, and prospective studies to improve the positioning in the value chains continue to be necessary elements of action that must be strengthened in the short and medium term. Finally, there is still pending conciliation within the World Trade Organization on how these measures will be incorporated into its operating structure.

ESG and climate-related risks versus traditional risks in commercial banking: A bibliometric and thematic review

The aim of this study is to classify scientific research on the impact of ESG and climate-related risks on the conduct of the banking business. The systematic literature review was based on a bibliometric analysis of articles found in the Scopus and Web of Science databases. The search was confined to materials published between 2000 and August 2023. After applying criteria limiting the search, the final result was 869 unique literature items which were later analysed towards establishing the relationship of ESG and climate-related risks (‘new banking risks’) with other (so-called ‘traditional’) banking risks and identifying research gaps at the interface between traditional and new banking risks. This article introduces a variety of findings, including the most productive authors, organisations, countries and journals, the most cited articles and keyword distribution. In addition, a map of the evolution of the approach to ESG risk in banking was constructed on the basis of the literature review. The study identified 11 clusters of banking risk influenced by ESG risk and 10 clusters of banking risk affected by climate-related risk.

Исследование многоуровневых моделей управления вагонопотоками в адрес припортовых станций с применением теории дифференциальных уравнений

Purpose: To consider the issue of sustainability of multi-level control systems for car flows to port railway stations in the conditions of intellectualization of transportation management processes. To assess the influence of three-level and two-level control systems for the operational work of port roads on the quality of planning the supply of trains to port stations under various modes of operational operation of railways. Determine the conditions for the stability of the car flow control system by constructing and studying the corresponding hard and soft mathematical models described by autonomous systems of ordinary linear differential equations. Methods: In this study, the methods of the theory of stability of solutions of differential equations, as well as the theory of control and dynamical systems are used. A phase space is used in a visual representation, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the behavior of phase trajectories in it is performed, corresponding to undisturbed and perturbed solutions of systems of differential equations describing the constructed models of control systems. Results: A comparison of the characteristics of multistage car traffic control systems is given. A study of the stability of multilevel models of car traffic management in the context of the intellectualization of management functions is proposed. In the environment of the analytical computing system, the conditions of asymptotic stability in time of a two-level wagon traffic control system are found and studied. Practical importance: The results obtained by computational experiment make it possible to assess the stability of the functioning of port-side transport and technological systems in the context of changes in the organization of production and the intellectualization of transportation management processes. Computer mathematics systems make it possible to implement the heuristic component of research and obtain theoretically sound and visual solutions to problems of optimizing cargo and wagon traffic control modes.

Sustainable Maritime Transport: A Review of Intelligent Shipping Technology and Green Port Construction Applications

With the global economy’s relentless growth and heightened environmental consciousness, sustainable maritime transport emerges as a pivotal development trajectory for the shipping sector. This study systematically analyzes 478 publications searched in the Web of Science Core Collection, from 2000 to 2023, utilizing bibliometric methods to investigate the application areas in sustainable development within the shipping industry. This study begins with an analysis of annual publication trends, which reveals a substantial expansion in research endeavors within this discipline over recent years. Subsequently, a comprehensive statistical evaluation of scholarly journals and a collaborative network assessment are conducted to pinpoint the foremost productive journals, nations, organizations, and individual researchers. Furthermore, a keyword co-occurrence methodology is applied to delineate the core research themes and emerging focal points within this domain, thereby outlining potential research directions for future research. In addition, drawing on the keyword co-occurrence analysis, the advancements in intelligent shipping technologies and green port construction applications within sustainable maritime transport are discussed. Finally, the review discusses the existing challenges and opportunities of sustainable maritime transport from a theoretical and practical perspective. The research shows that, in terms of intelligent shipping technology, data security and multi-source data are the focus that people need to pay attention to in the future; a trajectory prediction for different climates and different ship types is also an area for future research. In terms of green ports, Cold Ironing (CI) is one of the key points of the green port strategy, and how to drive stakeholders to build sustainable green ports efficiently and economically is the future developmental direction. This review serves to enhance researchers’ comprehension of the current landscape and progression trajectory of intelligent shipping technologies, thereby fostering the continued advancement and exploration in this vital domain.

A Narrative Review: Optimization Algorithms for The Problem of Allocating Shelf Space in Retailing

The Shelf Space Allocation Problem (SSAP) is of great significance in the retail industry since it directly impacts the effectiveness of product placement and organization within a shop. This issue arises from a deficiency in comprehending the strategic arrangement of products, resulting in the wasteful utilization of space. Notably, SSAP has a significant negative impact on store operations and customer satisfaction, resulting in wasted space and a reduction in the number of products that can be displayed to customers. Hence, the careful selection of an optimization method is crucial for effectively managing the allocation of shelf space in retail operations. This study aims to examine optimization algorithm techniques for addressing the issue of shelf space allocation in a particular environment, such as enhancing sales, minimizing congestion, or optimizing space utilization. Several studies have considered several optimization algorithm methods that have been used in solving the SSAP, including Genetic Algorithm (GA), Linear Programming (LP), Dynamic Programming (DP), Simulated Annealing (SA), Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO), and Variable Neighborhood Search (VNS). These methods are selected based on problem characteristics, including nonlinearity, integer requirements for variables, and constraints such as limited rack space. This optimization method helps retailers to effectively optimize shelf space allocation and maximize sales and profits. The study thus reviewed previous papers examining optimization algorithm methods to solve the problem of shelf space allocation. Those methods are crucial in improving product organization efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Issues of efficiency of financing the agricultural sector

In many economically developed countries, state support, financial investments in the agricultural industry, increasing productivity and profitability, ensuring the availability of food are the main factors of economic growth, first of all, employment of the population. Purpose - the main problems of financing the agro-industrial complex of the republic and scientific approaches to their solution are considered. Methods - comparative analysis, synthesis, monographic, logical evaluation to determine the mechanisms affecting the effectiveness of state aid and investment. Results - the article analyzes the sources of budgetary allocation of the agrarian sector. The significance of the implementation of targeted programs aimed at improving the quality of life of rural residents through price, tax, leasing mechanisms, soft loans and subsidies is shown. The study presents information for 2018-2022, supplemented by the data of the National Project on the development of agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2021-2025, including the total volume of agro-industrial production and the size of capital investments. The study notes the need to increase the volume of domestic processing industry, allowing agricultural producers to expand the market for products, create conditions for new jobs, attract investment, and contribute to economic and social stability. Conclusions - specialization of rural areas, development of technical map and related organization of production in promising villages and district centers, increase in exports, distribution of online services are strategic directions of development of food complex, economic activity of agroformations. The use of external resources gives an opportunity to improve financial results, and farms - to increase income from core activities. When planning large investments in agricultural projects, one of the key criteria is the choice of capital structure to support the investment process.

Analysis of the prospects for the development of organic pig farming in Russia

The paper is devoted to the study of factors that form the conditions for the development of organic pig production. The relevance of this topic is due to the growing interest of consumers both domestically and abroad in organic products as the basis for a healthy lifestyle and the resource potential available in Russia, which is sufficient to form a sector of producers — competitive participants in the world market. Based on the use of statistical methods for time series alignment, the authors have identified positive trends in traditional pig production, meat consumption and outpacing growth rates of demand for pig products. It has been determined that stable growth of real incomes of the population in all constituent entities of the Russian Federation can become the basis for the growth of effective demand for organic pig products. The paper summarizes the requirements for the organization of organic production in pig farming, taking into account internal regulatory documentation and foreign experience. Previous studies conducted by the authors showed that the existing soil and climatic conditions in the regions of the Russian Federation make it possible to produce organic feed for this industry, and the expansion of production is one of the target indicators of the Strategy for the Development of Organic Agriculture in the Russian Federation until 2030. The authors identified a number of risks in the work that must be taken into account when creating projects for the development of organic pig farming at the micro and macro levels.

Evaluating the Effect of Implementing an Integrated Management Approach During the Transition of a Scientific and Practical Institution to the Performance of R&D Projects

The research objective was to evaluate the effect of implementing a set of management decisions during the transition of a scientific and practical institution from research to R&D projects. We carried out a longitudinal sociological study using the double-survey method. The survey was conducted before and after the implementation of a structured set of systemic measures to improve the efficiency of R&D activities. We have implemented this set because of the transition of our institution from the stage of research work to the stage of both research and development projects. Ideas of matrix and participative management were included in this set of measures. The survey assessed employees’ awareness of the 2023–2025 R&D plan, their needs to implement the plan and job satisfaction score as well as the level of their understanding of risks and their impact on the possibility to fulfill the plan. Due to the deployment of a set of systemic measures, employees’ awareness of participation in the R&D plan implementation increased from 73.6% to 90.0%, and their awareness of the plan’s content grew from 50.0% to 76.0%. A consequence of the implementation of participative management was that employees became aware of their needs to fulfill the plan as well as of the risks of not reaching its targets. Their satisfaction with the plan implementation conditions increased from 69.0% to 77.0% and the confidence in the possibility to implement the plan successfully grew from 55.0% to 92.0%. Matrix management allowed for a timely assessment of the organization’s future needs and increasing the research staff. This resulted in meeting the 2023 targets. Long-term planning of research work is a necessary component for the development of a scientific and practical institution, the organization of knowledge-intensive production and the reduction of the time between the acquisition of new knowledge and the creation of products and technologies and their entry into the market. The uniquely designed set of systemic measures increases not only the efficiency of research work, but also the performance of the employees, promotes their professional development and creates conditions for their personal advancement.

One city to rule them all? The production of copper in Enkomi, Cyprus: the evidence from the metallurgical ceramic assemblage

The sociopolitical organisation of Cyprus during the Late Bronze Age (LBA) is still an active field of scholarly debate. In the second half of the 2nd mil. BCE, the prevailing interpretations favour either a unified or a decentralised administration model on the island. Enkomi is listed as one of the most important Late Cypriot (LC) sites in both models. The rise of this urban centre can be largely attributed to the control of copper production during the LC period. The results of the chemical and microstructural analysis of the archaeometallurgical ceramic assemblage from the copper workshops in Area III at Enkomi are presented here. Our research revealed that the ceramics were exclusively used for copper-based secondary metallurgical activities. This project, the first in Cypriot archaeometallurgy to focus solely on technical ceramics, adds significant new knowledge to the reconstruction of the copper production organisation and Enkomi’s standing among the LC polities. Furthermore, these new findings pave the way for the development of a comparative analysis of the various stages of the copper production sequence in Cyprus, as reflected in metallurgical ceramic assemblages.

Effect of Interpersonal Conflict among Extension Staff in Agricultural Development Programme (ADP) In Rivers State, Nigeria

The study was conducted to ascertain the effects of interpersonal conflict among Extension staff in Agricultural Development Programme (ADP) in Rivers State, Nigeria. Specifically the study identified the forms of interpersonal conflict among the ADP Extension staff, and ascertained the effects of interpersonal conflict on members of Rivers State ADP Extension staff. A proportionate sampling technique was used to select 149 ADP Extension staff. However, only 135 questionnaires were retrieved from the field. Variables were analyzed and presented using frequency, percentage and mean scores. The result showed that communication conflict and relationship conflict (88.10%) ranked highest forms of conflict in the ADP. The most occurring conflicts were communication conflicts (X̄=3.89), task conflict (X̄=3.77) and power conflict (X̄=3.70). The respondents agreed that interpersonal conflict improves future communication among staff (X̄=3.93), boosts staff morale (X̄=3.93) and improves trust (X̄=3.87). However, they also agreed to these negative effects of interpersonal conflict; apathy (X̄=3.93), distraction (X̄=3.76) and low morale (X̄=3.75). The study concluded that interpersonal conflict improves future communication, boosts staff morale and improves trust. On the contrary; interpersonal conflict leads to apathy, distraction and low morale. It was recommended that government and employers should make Conflict management and resolution as part of compulsory Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for staff of the ADP. This will effectively utilize positive effects of interpersonal conflict while minimizing the negative effects for a more productive organization.

Enhanced Defect Management in Strawberry Processing Using Machine Vision: A Cost-Effective Edge Device Solution for Real-Time Detection and Quality Improvement

Managing defects in agricultural fruit processing is crucial for maintaining quality and sustainability in the fruit market. This study explores the use of edge devices, web applications, and machine vision algorithms to improve defect reporting and classification in the strawberry processing sector. A software solution was developed to utilize edge devices for detecting and managing strawberry defects by integrating web applications and machine vision algorithms. The study shows that integrating built-in cameras and machine vision algorithms leads to improved fruit quality and processing efficiency, allowing for better identification and response to defects. Tested in small organic and conventional strawberry processing enterprises, this solution digitizes defect-reporting systems, enhances defect management practices, and offers a user-friendly, cost-effective technology suitable for wider industry adoption. Ultimately, implementing this software enhances the organization and efficiency of fruit production, resulting in better quality control practices and a more sustainable fruit processing industry.

Individual or communal? Exploring the social dynamics of ceramic production at the Lengyel circular-enclosure site of Těšetice-Kyjovice – Sutny, South Moravia

Although ceramic vessels form the majority of artifact assemblages in the Neolithic, little is known about their production beyond the assumption that they were made in a domestic context. Characterizing the scale of ceramic production is important for understanding Neolithic social and economic processes, particularly at sites with enclosure systems that indicate an increased degree of social organization. Nevertheless, characterizing the complexity and social entanglements of ceramic production is a difficult task in the absence of primary production locales.In this study, we provide a working hypothesis and use ceramic and clay petrographic data to highlight the variability in ceramic technological practices, and in turn, identify the organization of ceramic production at the Late Neolithic (Lengyel I; 4750–4500 BCE) site of Těšetice-Kyjovice – Sutny, South Moravia, Czech Republic. The site is characterised by a large circular enclosure, the construction of which required a high level of social cooperation. It is still under scrutiny whether the cooperation required for building the enclosure system was only temporary and related to this construction activity, or if it reflects a higher degree of social organization in general.By understanding ceramic production, we may clarify the complexity of the most common production processes that took place at the site. Large-scale ceramic and clay petrographic data provide information on the first steps of the chaîne opératoire in ceramic fabrication, which can be used to assess the organization of production. A systematic analysis of a large number of ceramic samples, representing all basic typological and macroscopically distinguishable fabric groups, revealed a high degree of individuality in choices of raw materials and tempers. Ceramic petrographic data, compared with the petrographic data of local sediment sources, further highlighted individuality in raw material and temper preferences, and even mixing of raw materials was identified.Our analyses suggest that Lengyel culture potters likely produced their vessels on a household level, with no evidence suggesting non-domestic production. These data, in conjunction with ceramic petrographic data from Hungarian Late Neolithic sites, suggest that Late Neolithic communities were self-sufficient in terms of utilitarian pottery production. Ceramic petrographic data also indicate interaction between the inhabitants of Těšetice and other Lengyel culture communities in the vicinity, perhaps further indicating a higher degree of social organization at the site.

The Influence of the Assembly Line Configuration and Reliability Parameter Symmetry on the Key Performance Indicators

In the context of the demand for mass customization of products, a trade-off between highly efficient automated systems and flexible manual operators is sought. The linear arrangement of workstations made it possible to divide the process into many simple operations, which increases production efficiency, but also results in an increase in the number of workstations and a significant extension of the line. A human operator is usually treated as a quasi-mechanical object, and a human error is considered, similarly, as a failure of a technical component. However, human behavior is more complex and difficult to predict. A mathematical model of a new production organization is presented, including dividing the traditional production line into shorter sections or replacing the serial assembly line with a U-line with cells. Moreover, the reliability of operator and technical means are distinguished. Work-in-progress inventories are located between line sections to improve system stability. The stability of the assembly line is examined based on the system configuration and probabilistic estimates of human failure. The influence of the symmetry of reliability parameters of people on key performance indicators (KPI (headcount), KPI (surface) and KPI (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) is examined. KPI (solution robustness) and KPI (quality robustness) are also presented in order to evaluate the impact of a disruption on the assembly line performance. New rules for assigning tasks to stations are proposed, taking into account the risk of disruptions in the execution of tasks. For comparison of assembly problems, heuristic methods with newly developed criteria are used. The results show the impact of symmetry/asymmetry on assembly line performance and an asymmetric distribution of manual assembly times that is significantly skewed to the right due to human errors. On the assembly line, the effects of these errors are cumulative and lead to longer assembly times and lower KPIs.

INTERDEPENDENCE OF SOCIAL AND POLITICAL CHANGES: RISCOGENIC POTENTIAL

The article considers the risk-generating potential of changes occurring in the subsystems of modern social systems in their interaction with the natural and spiritual environment. The systemic representation of the structure of social systems developed by T. Parsons is used. The risks associated with global processes that conflict with the established approaches to the organization of material production and reproduction of cultural samples are shown. An analysis of the risks associated with the discrepancy between the interests of the groups of the social subsystem formed in the process of functioning of the economic subsystem and the cultural subsystem is given. The functions of the political subsystem to reduce the severity of these risks are revealed, as well as the risks arising in connection with the ineffective performance of these functions by the political system. Conclusions are formulated based on the analysis of modern political processes in Russia and the West. It is shown that there are objective and subjective factors reducing the effectiveness of the performance of the main functions by the subsystems of society, giving rise to significant risks of its destabilization.

Optimization of the pumpkin pectin paste production process

Taking into account the mentioned advantages, the use of vegetable and fruit pastes with increased pectin content has great potential in therapeutic and preventive nutrition. They not only contribute to the removal of radionuclides, heavy metals and toxins from the body but also provide additional enrichment of the body with a complex of natural vitamins, tannins and sugars. These natural substances help to improve the work of the gastrointestinal tract, increase the general tone of the body and help strengthen the immune system. Optimized technological production processes, in particular the hydromodule of hydrolysis of raw materials, correctly selected temperature regimes and evaporation methods that ensure maximum efficiency of pectin extraction from raw materials. This makes it possible to achieve high quality of the finished product with full preservation of the beneficial properties of pectin substances. Modern technological methods guarantee the preservation of the maximum number of active components, which makes the product even more valuable for consumers. For the production of pectin pastes, Gleisdorfer Olkurbis, Hamlet, Pivdenny, Miranda and Dana Styrian Bare-seeded pumpkins were selected. The hydrolysis process was carried out using lactic acid and whey, which contributed to a faster process and acted as preservatives. According to the results of experimental studies, rational hydrolysis conditions were established: hydro modulus (1:14–1:17), concentration of hydrolyzers, temperature regime, hydrolysis time, and evaporation method. The evaluation of the product included the analysis of dry matter content, colour, pectin content and gel-forming properties. According to the results of the experiments, it was determined that the rational conditions for the hydrolysis of pumpkin raw materials are a temperature within 80°C, a duration of the process of 65 minutes and a hydromodule of 15–16. Rational conditions for evaporation in a vacuum are established, which allow obtaining high-quality pectin paste with a pectin content of 1.5% and a dry matter content within 70%. A specialized technology for the production of pectin pastes from pumpkin and other vegetable raw materials has been developed, which allows you to effectively preserve the natural properties and nutrients characteristic of local fruits and vegetables. Technological and hardware-technological production schemes have been developed, which will contribute to the organization of production in the areas where raw materials are grown, reducing transportation costs and contributing to regions' sustainable development. Localization of production contributes to the creation of new jobs and support of the local economy Thus, the use of vegetable and fruit pastes with increased pectin content has a great potential for strengthening the health of the population. They are a rich source of natural vitamins and microelements, which contribute to the improvement of the general condition of the body, increase immunity and protect against harmful effects of the environment. The growing demand for natural and healthy food products makes pectin pastes a promising direction for investment and development of new technologies in the food industry.

The study aims to determine the role of partnership in ensuring the sustainable development of the enterprise in conditions of instability. In the context of implementing the tasks of comprehensive modernization of the economy, the relevance of preserving and evaluating the sustainable development of the enterprise has increased because different development strategies affect these indicators in different ways. In this regard, the main areas of partnership, their advantages and disadvantages, were analyzed, and the features of their influence on the sustainable development of the enterprise were determined. Attention is focused on considering successful examples of mechanisms for supporting partnerships between the state and the public, which contribute to the sustainable development of enterprises in Ukraine. It was determined that Ukrainian enterprises should build a management system based on the principles of sustainable development, as this management ensures financial stability, competitiveness, and effective operation on the market. It also contributes to the organization of production, which reduces emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere, reduces the material intensity of products, improves working conditions, and raises the social level of the population. The stages of ensuring enterprises’ sustainable development in unstable conditions through partnerships are substantiated, and their content is disclosed. Today, an effective mechanism of sustainable development allows enterprises to adapt to changes in the external environment and constantly develop, fostering a sense of optimism and hope. The study shows that enterprises can thrive, not just survive, by seeking formats of profitable cooperation. The basis of sustainable development in the partnership format should be the balance of economic, social, and environmental components. Towards an accurate understanding of ‘new quality productive forces’

‘Developing new quality productive forces’, one of the Chinese government’s top priorities for 2024, has garnered significant attention and discussions both domestically and internationally since its proposal. It is a strategic initiative aimed at resolving the principal contradiction facing Chinese society in the new era, aligning with policies like ‘supply-side structural reform’, ‘high-quality development’, and ‘a new pattern of development’. It is not a mere policy slogan. While ‘traditional productive forces’ contributed to China’s economic miracle, their limitations have been increasingly apparent in the evolving socioeconomic conditions, exemplified by the failure of supply systems to adapt to shifts in the demand structure, which has resulted in the principal social contradiction in the current Chinese society. Developing new quality productive forces entails promoting scientific and technological innovation-driven transformation in the mode of production, cultivating emerging industries with novel means of production and consumption, digitally transforming traditional sectors, forming network-based and intelligent production organisations and digitalised industrial ecosystems, and reshaping production relations to foster high-quality economic development.
