Proses Pemberdayaan Ibu-Ibu Rumah Tangga oleh Bank Sampah “Kebumen Gemilang ‎Sejahtera” di Kelurahan II Ilir Kecamatan Ilir Timur II Kota Palembang

Women's empowerment is a good step to develop and improve women's competencies, especially for ‎housewives. This research examines the process of community empowerment in recycled waste ‎management in Kelurahan II Ilir, with a focus on the Kebumen Gemilang Sejahtera (KGS) Waste Bank. ‎There are five main processes observed, namely enabling, strengthening, protecting, supporting, and ‎maintaining which are used to create a supportive climate, increase knowledge and skills, and encourage ‎community independence and innovation in waste management for housewives. The method used is ‎analytic descriptive qualitative method. The qualitative research method is considered capable of describing ‎the process of empowering housewives by the KGS Waste Bank. As a result, the community, especially ‎housewives, managed to develop skills in waste management, become independent and innovative, and can ‎spread their knowledge to other parties. This empowerment program has succeeded in creating a positive ‎impact in protecting the environment and improving the welfare of the community.

Kendala dalam Proses Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Balai Latihan Kerja Komunitas Pondok Pesantren Darul Makmur Sungai Cubadak

Job training is a community empowerment effort carried out by the government in order to shape people into workers who have competence and are ready to enter the world of work. In carrying out training, there will definitely be several obstacles that hinder the training process from running optimally. So research was conducted to determine the obstacles in community empowerment efforts at the Darul Makmur Sungai Cubadak Islamic Boarding School Community Job Training Center through job training. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were interview and documentation methods. The results of the research show that there are obstacles that hinder the community empowerment process at the Darul Makmur Sungai Cubadak Islamic Boarding School Community Work Training Center, consisting of internal obstacles and external obstacles.

Pemberdayaan dan Pendampingan Masyarakat Pesisir Peduli Mangrove di Kawasan Mangrove Bangko-Bangko, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat

Empowering and assisting coastal communities who care about mangroves is one solution in maintaining sustainable coastal ecosystems. One of them is the Bangko-Bangko mangrove area which is vegetation that supports coastal forests. This service method is carried out through a process of mentoring and community empowerment. The results of the service show that it is important to empower and assist coastal communities adjacent to the Bangko-Bangko mangrove ecosystem in Sekotong District to maintain sustainable mangrove conservation. Apart from that, assistance from people who care about mangroves in the mangrove rehabilitation process is very necessary to ensure that the type of mangrove planted is appropriate to its habitat and growth zone so that the planting program can be successful with a high probability.

Community Empowerment through Processed Moringa cultivation, Production and Marketing

In essence, community empowerment is the main result of the community empowerment process. Local potential is social capital in increasing community empowerment. Has the community empowerment carried out by the Keloris community in using Moringa as a healthy processed product had a positive impact on community empowerment? Through the research focus of empowering, sustainability, technology approach, researchers analyzed the empowerment process in the form of moringa cultivation, moringa production, production partners and distribution partners, as well as factors that influence empowerment activities. Through a participatory communication approach, it provides space for interaction between Keloris and the community in realizing empowerment activities. This research aims to analyze the role of moringa in empowering the community of Ngawenomboh Village, Kunduran District, Blora Regency, Central Java in using moringa as a healthy processed product, as well as what the factors behind it are. Using a social facts paradigm approach reveals in-depth phenomena in a qualitative descriptive manner by exploring data through in-depth interviews and observations with information sources from both the Keloris community and other participants. This research resulted in the role of the moringa community in empowering the community to use moringa as a healthy processed product. It has created empowerment, independence, community entrepreneurship even though sustainability obstacles are caused by community mindset, keloris commitment, technological adaptation and stakeholder support. In general, community empowerment activities are able to bring positive benefits in the form of awareness of the processing and use of moringa to provide economic value for family nutrition. PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI BADAN USAHA MILIK DESA “NGINGAS MAKMUR ABADI” DESA NGINGAS KECAMATAN WARU KABUPATEN SIDOARJO

Village community empowerment is carried out to develop independence and improve community welfare by increasing skills and abilities in managing and utilizing existing resources. This study aims to analyze and describe the process of Community Empowerment through Village-Owned Enterprises "Ngingas Makmur Abadi" Ngingas Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. In this study, the indicators used are studied from 3 (three) aspects: enabling, empowering and protecting. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative research, with data collection techniques of interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study explain that the community empowerment process carried out by the Village-Owned Enterprise "Ngingas Makmur Abadi" has been carried out quite well, it can be seen that two aspects of the indicators, namely Enabling and Empowering, have been implemented well, but one aspect of the Protecting indicator still has some constraints. even so, BUMDes Ngigas Makmur Abadi Community Empowerment has contributed to increasing PADes (Village Original Income) and Strengthening the Economy.

Rural Land Consolidation and Social Consciousness Change: A Case Study of a Land Consolidation Program in Rural Chongqing, China

With the changing relationship between urban and rural areas in China, the rural areas are experiencing rapid social transformation. To ensure successful implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, land consolidation has become a major measure of rural economic reform. Existing research focuses on quantitative studies exploring the relationship between land consolidation and rural economic development, but there is a lack of studies on the relationship between land consolidation and social change. In this study, we utilized Rocha’s conceptual framework for community empowerment and selected Jin’an Village as our study area, using semi-structured interviews and semi-participatory observation to obtain original materials, with the aim of providing a detailed description of the specific practice of land consolidation and analyzing the impact of land consolidation on the transformation of rural social consciousness. The study found that the participatory practices of Chinese rural villagers in the land consolidation process are consistent with the development process of community empowerment. Rural land consolidation involves villagers in the land consolidation process, which can effectively stimulate villagers’ participation in public affairs. Concurrently, the interaction between villagers and outside investors disrupts the conventional socialization model in rural areas and motivates villagers to act in accordance with contractual agreements. The conclusion is that land consolidation in rural areas can enhance the political democracy and legal consciousness of local villagers, which can lead to a change in local social consciousness. Our findings also emphasize the crucial necessity of providing rural villagers with improved accessibility to professional services and information, coupled with the continued promotion of land consolidation to advance modernization in these areas.

Empowerment Design of Putri Gemilang Village-Owned Enterprises Community Based on Asset-Based Community Development

Asset-based community empowerment has become a necessity as communities often possess and utilize their potential effectively. This study aims to illustrate the asset-based community empowerment process conducted within the Badan Usaha Milik Desa Puteri Gemilang community. The study focuses on the stage of building community awareness. By utilizing the Assed-Based Community Development (ABCD) mentoring model, this study identifies strategies for raising awareness within the Badan Usaha Milik Desa Puteri Gemilang community. With this ABCD approach, the community achieves something new, such as the formation of teamwork cohesion, the establishment of strong commitment, the cultivation of critical thinking, and the development of future program designs.

The Effectiveness of Zakat Management at Desa Berdaya, Mekarwangi Village, Lembang

Implementing productive zakat is still facing obstacles, including mustahiq who cannot be trusted in managing the business both operationally and mentally when receiving capital/money. Managing productive zakat is technically more difficult than distributing consumptive zakat, both in terms of procedures and responsibilities. Several studies also showed that the distribution of productive zakat funds did not significantly affect mustahiq’s profits and business income. Even if productive zakat affected the growth of mustahiq micro-enterprises, it did not affect their welfare. However, this did not dampen Rumah zakat as zakat manager to continue to develop productive zakat management. Desa Berdaya Program is a community empowerment process carried out by Rumah zakat Facilitator in a certain area and time, by helping to accelerate the improvement of existing problems in the area. This study aimed to analyze the success of Rumah zakat in managing zakat productively and its obstacles. This study used a qualitative method with an analytical descriptive approach. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews and direct observation of the Mekarwangi village, as one of the villages that received the program. Secondary data sources were obtained through literature study and documentation. This study used thematic analysis to analyze qualitative data from the results of interviews and observations made. The results concluded that Desa Berdaya Program of Rumah Zakat had succeeded in increasing 55% of beneficiaries (mustahiq) to become entrepreneurs, farmers, and breeders who have a steady income and continue to increase. However, this success was slow since it took seven years of coaching rather than four.

Menyemai Hidup Berkelanjutan: Etika Lingkungan Hidup Pada Gerakan Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Berbasis Eco Fashion

The Creative and Smart House Foundation is an institution that runs empowerment programs by producing eco fashion products. This research aims to explain the process of community empowerment based on eco fashion, as well as analyzing its impact from an environmental ethics perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study type of research. The data collection techniques used were participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Hubermann interactive model. The research results show that community empowerment carried out by the Rumah Creative and Pintar Foundation covers the scope of empowerment, empowerment and protection. In terms of approach, it tends to lead to a direct action strategy, characterized by a program of ideas that originate entirely from the Foundation. So what is happening at the Foundation currently is that the target community is consumptive of the programs provided by the foundation. The built community does not show any initiative in certain aspects which are the foundation for the realization of an empowered society. The environmental ethic that is being fostered is ecofeminism. Characterized by empowerment programs that empower socially vulnerable communities, most of whom are women. Trying to review the meanings of human (male) domination of nature and women. So this research sees that the Foundation does not reject human domination. But behind human domination, everything is based on the values ​​of love. Apart from that, the community they support is always careful about production waste, namely not allowing the production waste produced to pollute the earth or have a negative impact on the environment. In this case, the empowerment program is quite capable of changing the perspective of the target community in making life choices.

Coastal Resource-Based Entrepreneurship: A Strategy to Improve the Quality of Life of Coastal Area Communities

This research is a descriptive qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation data collection. The research subject is the community of Untia Fishermen Village in Makassar City, totaling 5 informants who have various incomes ranging from agriculture, fisheries and marine potential in Untia Fishermen Village. The results showed that coastal communities need knowledge and understanding of entrepreneurship and how to process coastal resources. The process of community empowerment through coastal resource-based entrepreneurship training in accordance with the empowerment stage, namely the stages of training implementation, namely planning, counseling, coastal resource-based entrepreneurship training activities, mentoring and evaluation. Supporting factors such as the positive response of the community, adequate natural potential as the main raw material and support from the government, while the inhibiting factors for empowerment through manufacturing training are lack of capital, packaging equipment is still rarely sold, and the community has not been able to optimize the training process and has not been able to manage time. Hopefully, coastal resource-based entrepreneurship is an emerging concept as a potential solution for wise management of coastal natural resources with the aim of maintaining the sustainability of natural resources and the environment, while increasing the income and quality of life of coastal communities.

Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pelatihan Pemandu Wisata Guna Mengembangkan Potensi Wisata Di Desa Panglungan Kecamatan Wonosalam Kabupaten Jombang

Community empowerment is an effort to provide strength or power for the community so that it gets out of the problems faced. Community empowerment in Panglungan Village is carried out by organizing tour guide training or tour guides to increase tourist visits in Panglungan Village. Panglungan Village is one of the villages in Wonosalam District that has great tourism potential but still needs to be developed. The empowerment process has several stages, namely location selection, socialization of community empowerment, community empowerment process, and community independence. This writing aims to find out how community empowerment in Panglungan Village through human resource development by conducting tour guide training. The method used is through literature study and focus group discussion (FGD). Community empowerment in Panglungan Village is in accordance with the existing stages of empowerment. With the empowerment of the community through this tour guide training, it is hoped that the community will have the knowledge to become tour guides so that in the future they can support the tourism there.

Tokenism Analysis in Community Participation: A Case Study from Saung Pandu Program of Badak LNG Bontang

Saung Pandu is an acronym for Usaha Unggulan Pertanian Terpadu, a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program located in direct proximity to PT Badak NGL Bontang in East Kalimantan. Saung Pandu was initiated to mitigate land conflicts through community empowerment approaches. As a result, Saung Pandu has become a community development program that focuses on integrated agriculture by utilizing processed domestic wastewater from the company. This research examines the process of community empowerment and participation using the theories of empowerment and community participation. Given the intertwined nature of empowerment and participation, the empowerment process is seen as a sequence of awareness-raising, capacity building, and empowerment. Meanwhile, participation is observed through the stages of planning, implementation, benefit realization, and monitoring and evaluation. This research adopts a qualitative methodology. The findings of this study indicate that while there is an existing empowerment process, optimal participation has not been achieved. The participation that occurs is largely influenced by the historical background of conflicts between the company and the community. This is due to the segmentation of groups based on land ownership, leading to some degree of tokenism among certain parties, thereby resulting in suboptimal individual participation within the groups.

The role of local community empowerment in the digital transformation of rural tourism development in the Philippines

Local participation is essential in rural tourism development in the Philippines. However, as technology becomes a critical factor in the digital transformation of the rural tourism paradigm, local participation evolves into local community empowerment. How does this local community empowerment affect the transition through digital transformation? The stakeholder engagement theory was utilized to ensure the relevance of the selected informants' roles and responsibilities in the local community empowerment process. Using a purposive sample of local tourism stakeholders engaged in the digital transformation functions and responsibilities, a semi-structured interview was conducted to describe the role of local community empowerment towards a more effective digital transformation of rural tourism development. The findings revealed that as residents engage in the digital transformation process, residents are empowered based on individual, gender, political, and social aspects. Individual empowerment constitutes the improvement of technical capabilities and setting higher goals, while gender empowerment leads to gender equality specialization and breaking the glass ceiling. Political empowerment was attained through the boosting of their influence and the taking of a decision-maker role. In contrast, social empowerment promotes building industry networks and implementing a family-centric approach. This study contributes to the academic landscape on rural tourism development that determined specific factors of community empowerment essential in the digital transformation of tourism management processes.

Social construction in plastic waste management for community empowerment and regional structure

The growth rate of plastic waste in Indonesia increases every year. The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) revealed that plastic waste in Indonesia reaches 66 million tons per year. In Hamlet 15, Pematang Johar Village, there is the Suka Mulia Garbage Bank, which has been established since 2020 and has 60 customers. The presence of this waste bank has changed waste management activities, especially plastic. Villagers have started to actively save waste and turn plastic waste into eco-bricks. Changes in waste management in the community make this research aim to analyze the process of change that occurs by using the social construction approach proposed by Berger and Luckmann. This research design is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data in this study consisted of secondary and primary data. The results of this study found that there is a social construction model in plastic waste management, where from the externalization stage to the objectification stage, a community empowerment process occurs through the socialization of ideas and practices for making ecobricks.

Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Masyarakat Melalui the Gade Clean and Gold Dalam Perspektif Islam

The bad habit of the people who often dispose of waste indiscriminately and waste management with the concept of open dumping, burning it (with an incinerator or just burning it), digging the lid (sanitary landfill) do not provide a good solution. To overcome the problem of waste, it is necessary to change the paradigm that views waste as a resource that has economic value and is utilized. This research is included in qualitative research and uses qualitative descriptive methods. The techniques used in collecting data are observation, interviews and documentation. The key informants in this study were the Head of the Carnation Garbage Bank, the manager of the Carnation Garbage Bank and the customers of the Carnation Garbage Bank. The results of the empowerment carried out by the Anyelir Garbage Bank are that people who become customers of the waste bank get benefits in the form of gold savings, and the community has the ability to process waste and knowledge about maggot caterpillar cultivation. . The supporting factors are the involvement of members, facilities and infrastructure, the involvement of the surrounding community and collaboration with other parties and the inhibiting factors are the currently available facilities, customer indiscipline, and the low mindset of the community. The community empowerment process through activities at the Anyelir Garbage Bank with The Gade Clean and Gold Program went well and received good appreciation.

Community participation in building village environmental health Jatiendah Village, Cilengkrang Sub-District, Bandung

Environmental health, which is part of public health, has the aim of fostering and improving the degree of health and daily life, both physical, mental, and social. Considering the village as an institution that is in direct contact with the community and the main person in charge of implementing government, development, and society, the village government must be able to make every effort to include all development activities evenly and balanced by paying attention to all environmental health. Jatiendah Village, Cilengkrang sub-district, is one of the villages in Bandung Regency which is one of the research targets in an effort to build village environmental health. Based on the results of the research conducted, the level of community awareness and participation in efforts to build village environmental health is still not good. Through the community empowerment process, we hope to help the community to be able to actively participate in answering every social problem that occurs in the community, especially related to village environmental health.

PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PENGELOLAAN SAPI PERAH DI DESA GEGER KECAMATAN SENDANG KABUPATEN TULUNGAGUNG

Community empowerment through the management of dairy cows is one of the flagship programs of the Tulungagung Regency Government which aims to improve the economy of the people of Kampung Susu Geger, who incidentally are dairy farmers so that farmers can spread their wings in marketing the livestock products they have managed through this empowerment after that. Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) is one approach in The process of community empowerment through the management of dairy farms in Geger Village. Data collection techniques used were: (1) observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. This paper has results showing that: (1) The process of Community Empowerment through the management of dairy farms in Geger Village is generally quite mature in terms of planning by selecting activities based on priority needs of community groups. In general, its implementation can support the success of the Empowerment Program through managing dairy farms and improving the community's economy.

Efforts to Improve the Capacity of Midwife in the Village to Conduct the Community Empowerment Process Towards an Active Alert in Pidie Jaya

Community empowerment is very important to do with the aim that people become independent, in the sense that they have the potential to be able to solve the problems they face, and are able to meet their needs by not depending their lives on outside assistance, both government and non-government organizations. Midwives in the Village with individual characteristics are mostly aged less than 35 years, married status, Diploma-III education, with a working period of more than 6 years and most have become civil servants. The knowledge of village midwives about the development of Desa Siaga is 91.5% good, but the attitudes of village midwives towards the community empowerment process in developing Desa Siaga are more unsupportive, namely 57.3% and those who support 42.7%. Meanwhile, midwives in villages who have high work motivation as facilitators for Desa Siaga development are 58.5% and those who have low motivation are 41.5%. The level of activeness of the Village Midwife in social organizations, such as TP activities. PKK in the village, TP. PKK. Only 57.3% of midwives in the village can carry out the community empowerment process well, while 42.7% are still considered unfavorable. Of the 6 (six) stages of the empowerment process, only 70.7% help determine priorities. in sub-districts, and activities of religious organizations, is still very low at 3.7%.

Learning From Goa Pindul: Community Empowerment through Sustainable Tourism Villages in Indonesia

This study aims to reveal the success of community empowerment based on sustainable tourism in Goa Pindul, Indonesia. This study adopted the interpretative phenomenological analysis approach to understand the village community empowerment process phenomenon. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine (9) research participants from the Goa Pindul tourism village community. The findings of this study indicated that tourism-based community empowerment is started with awareness-raising through socialization and community service, followed by capacity building through various needs-based tourism management training and the formation of tourism awareness groups that are given to manage their potential and evaluate their development. This tourism-based community empowerment is carried out while still paying attention to environmental and cultural sustainability in society's lives. Youth involvement is optimized to support sustainable tourism villages.
