The Role of Public Relations at SMKN 3 Depok in Preparing Graduates Ready to Work in the World of Industry

This research aims to find out about the role of school public relations in preparing students to enter the industrial world. Of course, the role of Vocational High Schools cannot be underestimated, there is no longer the position of Vocational Schools as reserve schools which are the second choice, if you cannot enter the desired high school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a constructivism paradigm. This research collects data through interviews, observation and documentation and data analysis by reducing data, presenting data and drawing conclusions. Talking about the role of public relations means discussing an industry or institution that communicates with the public or society. Two-way communication is established with the public to provide support for management functions and objectives by increasing the development of cooperation and fulfilling common interests. So the role of public relations will be seen as an Expert Preciber (management expert or advisor). Public relations practitioners are considered as experts who can provide solutions to the public relations problems of an organization and management. Communication Facilitator means that public relations practitioners act as intermediaries, liaisons, translators and mediators, and ensure the realization of two-way communication between the organization and its public, Problem Solving Process Facilitator means that public relations is involved in solving organizational problems even though its role is still in the communication corridor.

Mental health problems identified in early school age and later mental health problems and disorders

Abstract Background Poor mental health in childhood and adolescence youth is an important public health challenge. We aimed to examine the prospective association between mental health problems among primary school children and later diagnosed mental disorders and mental health problems in youth. Methods A prospective cohort study of children participating in school health nurse examination during first years of primary school (approx. 6 years) in 17 municipalities in the capital region of Copenhagen, Denmark, with follow-up until their 16th birthday. Baseline data included information from national population registers and school health nurse records. Outcome variables: mental disorders diagnosed at hospital from approx. age 6 until 16 years (N = 6,930) and school health nurse records of mental health problems at approx. age 16 (N = 11,250). Results Problematic relations to peers in early primary school was associated with later neurodevelopmental disorders, including intellectual disability, autism-spectrum disorder and disorders of hyperactivity and inattention (AOR=4.14, 95% CI 2.15-7.97), and poor home related well-being in youth (AOR=1.67, 95% CI 1.02-2.74). Poor school well-being in early primary school was associated with poor school well-being ten years later (AOR=1.67, 95% CI 1.19-2.34) as well as problematic relations to peers (AOR=1.83, 95% CI 1.08-3.10). Further poor general well-being in early primary school was associated with problematic relations to peers in youth (AOR=2.21, 95% CI 1.17-4.18). Conclusions School health nurses identify a group of children in the early years of primary school with mental health problems and an increased risk of later mental health problems and disorders, and therefore they play an important role in the early identification of children at risk. Key messages • Children with problematic relations to peers have up to a fourfold increased risk of later mental disorders. • The school health nurses play an important role in the early identification of children at risk of later mental health problems.

The role of the unified communications platform in the implementation of the third mission by a modern university

Introduction. The third mission of the university involves intensive communication, which is an indispensable means of solving social, economic and environmental problems of the region of its location. Innovative elaborations for sustainable development require a transition from disparate services to unified communications (UCaaS). The purpose of the study is to identify the potential of the unified communications platform for the exchange of information between the university and its stakeholders, which allows us to see new ways to implement the social mission of "University and Society". Materials and methods. Twelve department heads of Novosibirsk State Technical University were interviewed on the most demanded characteristics of a communication platform for achieving managerial, organizational and educational goals within the framework of university activities. Three experts from UCaaS platform development companies were also interviewed about the obstacles that arise in the way of introducing this technology into the university environment. The data was processed and visualized using the bar chart method. Results. The most demanded options of UCaaS platform satisfying the objectives of the university's third mission are the control of student engagement (25% of respondents), collaboration on documents (19%) and information security (17%). Tools for working in a distributed team are also relevant (15%). Barriers to the introduction of the platform into the digital environment of universities include the lack of necessary infrastructure, the conservative format of classes, and the lack of a continuing education system. The main problems of relations with stakeholders are the episodic nature of contacts, the insufficiency of their planning and data analysis, the lack of mechanisms for the influence of stakeholders on the university management processes. Conclusion. The passive-expectant style of the university's behavior in the educational services market contradicts the vectors of the implementation of the university's third mission, while being a problem of integrating UCaaS into the higher school system. The model of expanding the university's cooperation with stakeholders forms the university's communication ecosystem, initiates productive networking for joint projects. The UCaaS platform's services are effective both for creating social engagement and for technology transfer and continuing education.

Revelation and Communion: A Contextual Theological Approach to Diversity and Dialogue in World Christianity

Abstract Theology in world Christianity not only features theological discourse that scrutinizes the colonial legacy of Christianity, pointing out the ways in which Christian doctrines are cast in colonial power, but also presents theology from the indigenous concerns to appropriate the Christian faith. Nonetheless, the present challenge to doing theology in world Christianity extends to not only making Christianity a dialogic-livable faith but also sustaining the relationship between universality and indigeneity. This article grapples with the task of decolonizing revelation, salvation, and dialogue in world Christianity using the insights from Ecclesiam Suam (1964) and Elochukwu Uzukwu’s wholeness-oriented approach to revelation and diversity. Particularly, it reexamines the meaning of salvation in the context of a narrative and proposes that the indigenous approaches could overcome the hurdles—not reinscribe highly problematic relations between the so-called center and margins through inculturation and contextual theology—taking note that theological discourse on revelation and salvation stands in need of scrutiny.

A rational exploration of personalist bioethics: understanding its foundations

The aim of this article is to elucidate the rational foundations upon which personalist bioethics is built, thereby enhancing understanding regarding its place within the broader discourse of secular bioethics. Personalist bioethics, as a dynamic pursuit, actively engages with scientific discoveries, periodically revisiting them and considering contemporary individuals' diverse perceptions of identity and values. It integrates two foundational trunks: personalism and Aristotelian-Thomistic theology with metaphysical reference. The method employed by personalist bioethics is illustrated through triangulation: the exposition of biomedical reality, an in-depth study of anthropological significance, and the identification of values at stake. Rooted in a substantialist concept of the human person, it follows a systematic interaction of various knowledge spheres, aiming not only to describe problematic relations but also to propose prescriptive solutions. Personalism maintains that the human person is valuable for who he is and not only for the choices he makes; he is a source from which the choices proceed. According to personalist ethics, the ethical value of an act will have to be considered under the subjective aspect of intentionality, but it will also have to be considered in terms of its objective content and its consequences. The natural moral law that urges every conscience to do good and avoid evil, therefore, becomes concrete in respect for the human person in all the fullness of his values, his essence, and ontological dignity.

Sytuacje trudne oraz sposoby radzenia sobie z nimi przez uczniów w szóstym i siódmym roku nauki

The article brings an answer to the question of which situations students perceive as difficult and which coping strategies they rely on. The study, consisting of two surveys, was carried out in the school year 2021/2022 and was conducted in 22 classes in the sixth and seventh years. Teams were drawn from all such classes in state primary schools in one lager city. The questionnaire How Do You Cope by Zygfryd Juczyński and Nina Ogińska-Bulik was used for the diagnosis. Analysis of the results shows that girls and boys differ in their perception of difficult situations. In the girls’ group, both in the first and second survey, problems in relations with peers were indicated most frequently, and those concerning family relations were mentioned somewhat less frequently. Boys, however, most frequently indicated that difficult situations are those that concerned school. The second most frequently mentioned ones were difficulties in relationships with peers. Irrespective of the type of situation indicated by the respondents as difficult, the strategy consisting in seeking support was used least frequently and a focus on emotions was used most frequently.

Prospects of cultural interaction between Russia and China in the field of higher education in the XXI century

The article examines the main problems of current Russian-Chinese relations in the field of cultural exchanges and higher education in Russia and China. The goal of the research is to identify the historical origins of the formation of cooperation between the two countries in the field of higher education, the possibilities of developing the system of intercultural communications in the education sector of Russia and China in modern conditions. The research methodology includes an analysis of cultural, historical, regional and social components. The main directions of merging the cultural areas of these countries have been compared. The cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China at the present stage and the prospects for its development in the field of education have been studied in detail. Close attention is aimed at improving the educational process and the development of intercultural relations. This cooperation has been considered on the example of several universities in Russia and China. The experience of organizing partnerships between universities has been studied through the prism of modern Russian educational practice. Further development prospects have been highlighted, taking into account their needs. As a result of the research, the author has concluded that, despite the constant changes in the modern geopolitical situation in the world, the relations between the countries remain stably diplomatic. It has been noted that the main priority of the Russian foreign policy towards China is the development of diplomacy and mutual communication between the two bordering states; options for solving the tasks set, linking them with Russia's change in its foreign policy course and directing it towards cooperation with China, the leader of East Asian countries have been proposed. These conclusions determine the desire of modern society to achieve mutual understanding in the field of intercultural communications between Russia and China.

"Soft power" became a key element of Japan’s foreign policy and one of the most important instruments in the United States’ diplomacy after World War II. The main results of the study are the identification and description of the major areas of mutual use of "soft power" by the United States and Japan, which became the basis of a strong interstate alliance after one of the most devastating uses of "hard power" in world history. Theoretical research methods, such as analysis of specialized literature related to the topic of the article and devoted to related problems of international relations, history and foreign policy, were used as a main methodology.

THE GENESIS OF THE SUBJECTIVITY OF THE ALGORITHM FOR THE USE OF NATURAL OBJECTS OF THE PROPERTY RIGHTS OF THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE

The author points out the need for scientific research into the priority of legal subjectivity among all participants to land relations and the balanced use of natural objects of property rights of the Ukrainian people, including in the agricultural sector, which is considered to be a relevant and key factor in solving the existing problems of land monopoly and corruption in Ukraine. The purpose of the article is to systematize and summarize the new knowledge of constitutional land pragmatism gained by the author to substantiate the legal priority of balanced use of natural objects as the main national wealth from the perspective of national interests. The author examines the conceptual, legislative, programmatic, organizational and other approaches to the implementation of the so-called land reform in Ukraine. The author reveals the variability of forms of ownership of land and its natural resources from the beginning of perestroika of the USSR to the present day, which have given rise to the existing “market land problems” in Ukraine on an unconstitutional basis. It is established that the newest innovative interests of ethnic Ukrainians, as well as all full-fledged citizens of Ukraine, especially now, are fully consistent with the constitutionally motivated imperatives of land relations and nature management. It is proved that the introduction of effective forms, methods and means of counteracting the current internal corrupt aggression is a crucial and urgent task. For the first time, the author outlines the invariant features inherent in the Ukrainian ethnos, which are in a state of life-giving humanity, space pioneering, innovative ingenuity, harmony of thinking and creative inspiration, genetically and spiritually passed on (manifested) through the subjectivity of generations of glorious ancestors of ethnic Ukrainians, their families, clans and families. The practical solution to the existing problems in land relations and nature management largely depends on the prompt implementation by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the author’s scientifically based systemic measures of the “New Paradigm for the Implementation of Land Reform in Ukraine”.

Labor and social contradictions and their influence on the development of human potential of Russia

The article reveals and analyzes labor and social contradictions in the development of technological, economic and spiritual foundations of society, which give rise to existing and future problems in labor relations. Some measures for reduction of the risk of negative implications of these contradictions are grounded.

There are some modern problems in public relations that affect the political processes in the public administration of Georgia. The results of empirical research are discussed, the role of public relations in the state management process is analyzed on the example of Georgia; The main challenges that different political groups face in the process of implementing public relations are highlighted. The research was conducted through semistructured in-depth interviews with a targeted selection of politicians and PR professionals, both political actors and representatives of international and local organizations. The key issues of the interview included characterizing the role and importance of public relations in the state management process; the main features of the government's PR campaign; characterizing the public relations campaign of the opposition; Expectations of the population from the government, etc. Appropriate conclusions have been drawn and the relevant recommendations have been formulated in order to improve the political climate in Georgia.

The textile industry labour market formation in Russia during the 30s and 60s of the XIX century: collisions and problems

Using the example of the activity at S.V. Morozov’s factory in the township of Nikolskoye (the Pokrov district, the Vladimir province), the article reveals the difficulties typical for the formation of a hired workforce labour market in the textile industry during the 30s and early 60s of the XIX century. The author uses archival documents to analyze the problems of relations between entrepreneurs, hired workers and local authorities. The research proves the fact that the textile industry labour market formation took place under economic, class and legal restrictions.

Проблема сверхурочной занятости в Китае: принуждение к переработкам и их тотальное распространение

The article analyzes one of the most pressing problems of labor relations in China today – the problem of widespread forced overtime work by employers. The author sees the main reason for this situation as strong pressure from labor supply in the Chinese labor market. The article examines polarized opinions on overtime work: its proponents argue that both voluntary and forced overtime contribute to the dynamic development of the Chinese economy, while opponents believe that constant overtime employment causes irreparable harm to the workers’ health, including their mental health, increases occupational injuries, and leads to a higher number of suicide attempts among young citizens. The article concludes that the prevalence of overtime work is a consequence of labor market saturation and increased competition among workers for “good positions”, leading to relationships of exploitation in favor of the employer. Addressing this issue will require comprehensive strategies that consider both labor market dynamics and worker protection laws to ensure fair and sustainable labor practices in China.

Hazrat Rumi's Mathnawi has been accepted as a spiritual guide by the sûfîs since the day it was written. Mathnawi, on the one hand, sheds light on the preparation of the reader for the life in the hereafter, and on the other hand, gives important clues about how he should be in an attitude and feeling when faced with worldly tests. In this context, many issues such as separation, illness, death, losses, financial difficulties, problems in human relations are presented to the reader either directly by opening a title or in a scattered form in various stories. Considering the topics in question, one of the most striking points in question is the mention of disease. Accordingly, Hazrat Mawlana discusses subjects like "What is the truth of the disease?", "Why are people tested by the disease?", "What kind of meaning should be attached to the disease?", "What is the condition of the patient in the sight of God?". On the other hand, he emphasized that the main issue was to get rid of spiritual diseases and the temporariness of bodily ailments, and directed attention to the healing of the soul. In this communiqué, the issue of how Hazrat Mawlana evaluates the issue of illness in his Mathnawi and what kind of perspective he offers to the person who is tested by the disease will be discussed. As a matter of fact, a significant majority of people who want to make sense of the severe illnesses they experience today want to receive psychological support, and some of them state that they need spiritual guidance. Legal Steps to Resolve Labor Relations Problems (Drivers) in Logistics and Land Transportation Companies

This study investigates legal steps in resolving labor relations problems, primarily related to drivers, in logistics and land transportation companies. By analyzing employment contracts, consultation with legal experts, amicable negotiations, mediation or arbitration, and the possibility of filing a lawsuit in court, this study aims to understand the dispute resolution process comprehensively. The research method used is a case study by analyzing several cases of logistics and land transportation companies. The results showed that the implementation of these legal measures can provide fair solutions and minimize conflicts between related parties, as well as ensure the enforcement of rights in accordance with applicable legal provisions. The implication of this research is the importance of understanding and using legal measures to solve labor problems effectively and efficiently in the context of the logistics and land transportation industry.

Analysis of handwritten heritage in the personal collection of theologian Momaqan Aliyev

AbstractThere are historical precedents of episodes of misunderstanding and confrontation between Kazakhs and Russians. The communist ideology prevailing in the USSR proclaimed the gradual extinction of religious cults, which resulted in problems in relations between confessional institutions and the state apparatus. To build a new paradigm of coexistence of two nations, it makes sense, firstly, to draw up a brief description of the state policy of the USSR regarding the Muslim religion, as an important part of the Kazakh culture. Secondly, to examine the manuscript heritage of the Kazakh historian and theologian Momaqan Aliyev (1897‐1969), who was the iconic person for his period. The methodological basis of the study has become standard methods of historical research, in particular descriptive‐narrative, historical‐genetic, source studies methods and a systemic approach. The information provided in the study will be useful for researchers in the field of ethnography, local history, sources of religious studies.

Sociodemographic and environmental characteristics associated with thoughts of death and suicidal ideation in community-dwelling residents of a rural town in Japan: analyses from a perspective of accompanying problems

ObjectiveSuicide prevention has been focused on primary prevention as a group rather than individuals. However, we aimed to identify sociodemographic and environmental characteristics of individuals with suicidal thoughts among rural residents in Japan.MethodsIn 2015, a cross-sectional home visit survey was conducted in a rural town in Akita Prefecture. A total of 1,844 residents aged ≥ 20 years (response rate, 65%) answered a self-administered questionnaire about suicidal thoughts in the past one month. Multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to investigate sociodemographic and environmental characteristics associated with suicidal thoughts in models with accompanying problems for human relations problems (HRP), health problems (HP), and financial problems (FP), or with no accompanying problems.ResultsIn total, 218 (men 9.4%, women 13.8%) had suicidal thoughts with accompanying problems for HRP (n = 104), HP (n = 112), and FP (n = 72). The risk characteristics were Kessler Psychological Distress Scale scores ≥ 9 in models with HRP, HP, and FP or with no accompanying problems; being a woman and current smoking with no accompanying problems; absence of a person for help in a model of FP; and absence of family member for help in a model of HRP or with no accompanying problems. The mitigating factor were being optimistic (a domain of resilience skills identified by factor analysis) in models of HRP, HP, and FP or with no accompanying problems; being aged 70–79 and being aged ≥ 80 in a model of HRP.ConclusionsSuicidal thoughts among rural residents in Japan were associated with multifactorial sociodemographic and environmental characteristics.

Heterogeneous Diplomacy of Political Relations between Iran and Afghanistan in exploiting the water of Helmand Border River

The water challenge in the Middle East has caused governments to face new problems in which they have to consider more control, management, and care regarding their water resources to survive. Due to growing water consumption by upstream countries of the border rivers in exploiting the resources, we will observe an increase in hydro-political disputes among the nations. Helmand is a river that flows into Iran and includes a hydro-political aspect. It has always influenced the relations between the two countries since the border formation. The fluctuation of the Helmand water flow and decrease in the running water towards Sistan (Iran) in the last hundred years has always created problems in relations between Iran and Afghanistan at the National and local levels. In the past years, Afghanistan has consumed a significant part of the water by creating a dam, reducing the amount of water flowing into Iran. On the other side, morphological changes of the river, such as the dispute on specifying the border exactly in the changeable river bed, dispute from the instability of water rights distribution pattern between the two countries, and finally, the dispute from specifying the extent and territory of the border area has led to ecosystem instabilities. In this regard, the strategy to control the ecosystem instabilities is environment diplomacy, and if it is synchronized with defensive diplomacy, it causes stability. With this description, we will examine the Helmand peripheral issues and the course of diplomacy in this field.
