The article is devoted to the study of the problems of quality control of knowledge of students of humanities faculties studying the discipline «Latin» and modern approaches to organizing this control. In light of modern educational requirements imposed by the Federal State Educational Standard for Higher Education and the development of new teaching technologies, it is necessary to constantly update knowledge assessment methods. The discipline of «Latin» is an important component of education in various fields, including medicine, law, biology, and other scientific disciplines. However, assessing students knowledge in this discipline often remains quite challenging for educators due to traditional assessment methods that may be ineffective or not adapted to modern requirements. The article discusses various approaches, including the use of information technology, interactive tasks, modern assessment and testing methods. Modern approaches to monitoring the quality of students knowledge in the discipline «Latin» are an important tool in modern education, allowing the use of an individual approach to assessing the knowledge of each student.
