The relevance of the study is due to the need to ensure sustainable development of agri-food systems (AFS) in the context of global climate change. The search for an answer to the climate challenge requires studying effective institutional mechanisms for adapting AFS in countries with developed climate economies. The article presents the experience of state support for adaptation measures implemented within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy in the EU countries.
