Bentuk Ketidakadilan Gender dalam Novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan Karya Andina Dwifatma

The basis of this research is to analyze the forms of gender inequality and the main character's efforts to confront these inequalities in the novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan. This study employs a qualitative approach by analyzing narrative texts within the story. The data for this research consists of textual excerpts containing instances of gender inequality in the novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan. The primary data source is the novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan by Andina Dwifatma, which comprised 155 pages and was published by PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama Jakarta in June 2021. The data collection was conducted through library research and note-taking methods. Data analysis procedures for this research involved three phases: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this research indicated various forms of gender inequality in the novel Lebih Senyap dari Bisikan, including (1) marginalization, (2) subordination, (3) stereotypes, (4) violence, and (5) double burden, also the main character's efforts to confront gender inequality are carried-out through seeking power and acquiring strength.

Strategi Pemasaran Pada RM Ayam Bakar Ma’lela Dalam Meningkatkan Minat Beli Konsumen (Generasi Milenial) Menggunakan Analisis Marketing Mix dan SOAR

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of marketing mix marketing strategy analysis used by RM Ayam Bakar Ma’lela in increasing consumer buying interest (Millenial Generation) and poviding strategy proposals through SOAR Analysis. By understanding the characteristics of the millenial generation market and adjusting the marketing mix marketing strategy and their needs, it will increase their buying interest in Ayam Bakar Ma’lela products. The research modelis descriptive qualitative and focuses on the marketing strategy of RM Ayam Bakar Ma’lela. This variables in this research are the independent and depend on primary adn secondary data sources/ data collection methods include interview, observation and dokumentation. Based on the research conducted. It shows that RM Ayam Bakar Ma’lela is experiencing problems in the marketing mix marketing strategy, especially it terms of increasing consumer buying interest (Millenial Generation). The main factory influencing the instability of consumer purchase interest (Millenial Generation) is due to several marekting mix factors that have not been update. In an effort to overcome and minimize these risks, this research proposes the application of the SOAR analysis method to optimize marketing strategies and improve overall performance. Barriers to Natural Disaster Risks Management Within Coastal Communities: The Case of Limbe and Ideneau in Cameroon

Globally, many coastal zones characterized by high population concentration lie across rigid zones defined by natural disasters such as flood, heat waves, landslide and subsidence which are often difficult to manage. The Limbe and Ideneau Coastal communities of Cameroon overtime have been shrouded by such natural disasters. The aim of the study was to identify the barriers to natural disaster management along the Limbe and Ideneau coastal communities of Cameroon. The study adopted a multi-stage sampling design whereas, areas prone to different hazards were mapped, and through a simple random sampling method, 300 persons were selected from each stratum to provide information on disaster management. Questionnaires, interview guides, interrogations and field investigations were the main primary data sources of the study whereas, secondary data sources such as published related articles, magazines and public libraries provided credential information. Quantitative and qualitative data collected during field survey were analyzed through the inferential and descriptive statistical techniques. The outcomes of the study were presented on graphs, figures, charts, tables and histograms. Findings revealed that natural disasters have caused enormous harms to the population occupying the aforementioned communities such as the disruption of communication infrastructures and housing facilities, touristic activities, farmlands and loss of human lives. Further results showed that many adaptation measures cannot contain the magnitudes and the intensities of these disasters. Limited technology, government negligence, poor planning and insufficient public knowledge on natural disasters are hindrance to the effective management of these natural disasters. The work concludes that these coastal communities remain “bonanza” and recommends that a participatory, holistic and an objective disaster management planning be implemented in order to offset the adverse effects of these disasters while deriving the potentials of the coast.

Ma'ani Al-Hadits Study On Beard Sharing For Men

Beards are something that is found under the chin of every human being, but in Islam maintaining this beard is a form of Islamic teaching delivered by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. But in the present era, maintaining the beard the scholars have differences in understanding it and also related to the law to shave it. This research uses a qualitative method with a ma'anil hadith study model related to the discussion of shaving beards for men. The primary data sources of this research are the books of hadith (kutubus tis'ah) and the books of hadith commentary. While the supporting sources in this study are all books, scientific articles from online journals, theses and others related to the theme of discussion. The data collection technique of this research is to trace all sources of hadith and filter the hadith according to the theme discussed. After the data is obtained, the author will present the data in the form of narratives, tables and graphs, making it easier for the author to draw a conclusion from this research. The findings of this study are that there is no single result that prohibits shaving the beard for Muslims. However, maintaining a beard is an order from the Prophet and a form of difference between Muslims and other people. While in the form of maintaining or shaving the beard is a form of a person in maintaining the appearance, so that it looks more presentable. Nowadays, there are so many innovations that can be done to shave the beard, including electronic razors, laser technology, automatic razors and quality beard care products.

One of the important investments for a company is human resources, which is the key to the company's success in surviving and developing well because employees are seen as an important asset in the company. To achieve the company's goals so that it can survive and develop well, it requires a good training program and suitable for employees. The training activities held are effective in improving human resources, because the quality of knowledge and abilities of employees increases so that they can also improve the quality of work and be competitive. Training activities starting from the training preparation stage and then implementing good training can support the success of the entire training program carried out. This research aims to find out the role of training programs on performance at PT. Telkom Access Panakkukang Makassar so that by realizing good employee performance, one of which is through training, it can increase company profits. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to determine employee performance through the implementation of training by describing the phenomena and facts that exist or occur in the research object. Data was obtained from observations and interviews. The research was conducted at PT. Telkom Access Panakkukang Makassar. The data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data sources. The data collection technique used was observation by conducting thorough observations and freelance interviews. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the training program in terms of preparation and implementation of training at PT Telkom Access Makassar has been able to carry out its role well because its role is very important in improving the quality of work. Training activities are effective in improving human resources, because they increase employee knowledge and abilities.

Estimating distributed autumn irrigation water use in a large irrigation district by combining machine learning with water balance models

Autumn irrigation (AI) after crop harvesting is vital for agricultural production in cold arid regions, typically requiring more water than regular irrigation during crop growth phases. Understanding distributed AI water use (AIWU) is key to optimizing irrigation strategies and refining agro-hydrological simulations. However, field-scale monitoring of irrigation water use is challenging, particularly in large districts, and quantification methods for distributed AIWU have seldom been investigated. Given this, we proposed a remote sensing-based model to estimate AIWU from water balance analysis, with key components derived through machine learning algorithms. Specifically, to address the unique challenge of short water ponding duration during AI, we selected MODIS as the primary data source, supplemented with Sentinel-2 data to enrich field-level details. A Sentinel-2 empirical bathymetry model, informed by in-situ measurements, served as a foundation for constructing a MODIS bathymetry model using random forest. This MODIS bathymetry model was essential for determining water ponding depths, which allowed for accurate estimation of infiltration rates when applied to the MODIS-based water index time series. By integrating these estimates into the water balance framework, we achieved a more precise estimate of AIWU. The proposed model was applied to Hetao Irrigation District (HID), the largest irrigation district in the arid region of China. The estimated steady infiltration rate and canal efficiency align with similar studies. The results indicate that the average AIWU per unit AI area in the HID remains stable during 2010–2020 with substantial spatial variability at the pixel level, providing new insights into the local hydrological cycle. The AIWU of HID has been decreasing by 19 million m3 per year during this period mainly due to the reduction in AI area, with a more prominent trend from 2010 to 2017. Our study deepens insights into the spatial–temporal dynamics of AIWU in arid regions, contributing to better irrigation management.

Pengaruh Kualitas Layanan One Day Sercive dan Fasilitas pada Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru terhadap Kepuasan Calon Mahasiswa

This research was conducted to find out The Influence of One Day Service (ODS) Service Quality and PMB Facilities on the Satisfaction of Prospective Students in 2022 at PGRI University Palembang. The data collection method used to obtain data in this research is field research. Namely, research is carried out directly by distributing questionnaires to respondents deemed to meet the requirements. The primary data source used was primary data collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents. This questionnaire measures the quality of one-day service (ODS), PMB facilities, and prospective student satisfaction. The research results based on data processing with the help of the SPSS version 26 for window program, obtained simultaneous results (F Test) showed that Fcount was 72.307 > Ftable 3.10 with a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an influence between the quality of one day service (ODS) (X1) and PMB facilities (X2) together (simultaneously) on prospective student satisfaction (Y). And the coefficient of determination results show that the R2 value is 0.611, which means 61.1%. The one-day service (ODS) service quality variable and the PMB facility variable can be explained, while 38.9% (100% - 61.1%) is influenced by other variables not studied. Coupled InVEST–MGWR modeling to analyze the impacts of changing landscape patterns on habitat quality in the Fen River basin

The present study employed remote sensing images of the Fen River Basin from 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020 as the primary data source. The software ENVI, ArcGIS, and Fragstats 4.2 were utilized to measure the landscape pattern index of the Fen River Basin. A collinearity test was conducted to remove any redundant landscape pattern indices. Based on the selected landscape indices, the landscape pattern index values were ascertained as follows. Using the shifting window method, the landscape pattern index of the Fen River Basin was obtained. Second, the habitat quality in the Fen River Basin was assessed using the InVEST model, and the spatial autocorrelation approach was employed to confirm that the habitat quality was spatially autocorrelated. Finally, the spatial impacts of landscape pattern indices on habitat quality were examined using the MGWR model. The results show that (1) the Fen River Basin's overall habitat quality declined between 2005 and 2020; however, the deterioration slowed with time and had a typical "poor in the middle and high around the margins" spatial distribution. The habitat quality of the low-value area continued to increase, the habitat quality of the lower-value area decreased annually, the habitat quality of the middle-value area decreased and then increased, the habitat quality of the higher-quality area tended to increase, decrease, and then increase again, and the habitat quality of the high-quality area decreased annually. (2) The fit of the MGWR model was greater than those of the OLS and traditional GWR models, and it was able to more clearly illustrate the various roles that landscape pattern indices and habitat quality play in one another. (3) Changes in landscape patterns had a major impact on habitat quality; habitat quality was positively impacted by PD and AI, negatively impacted by MESH, and had positive and negative bidirectional effects from CONTAG and AI.

A global multimodal flood event dataset with heterogeneous text and multi-source remote sensing images

ABSTRACT With the increasing frequency of floods, in-depth flood event analyses are essential for effective disaster relief and prevention. Satellite-based flood event datasets have become the primary data source for flood event analyses instead of limited disaster maps due to their enhanced availability. Nevertheless, despite the vast amount of available remote sensing images, existing flood event datasets continue to pose significant challenges in flood event analyses due to the uneven geographical distribution of data, the scarcity of time series data, and the limited availability of flood-related semantic information. There has been a surge in acceptance of deep learning models for flood event analyses, but some existing flood datasets do not align well with model training, and distinguishing flooded areas has proven difficult with limited data modalities and semantic information. Moreover, efficient retrieval and pre-screening of flood-related imagery from vast satellite data impose notable obstacles, particularly within large-scale analyses. To address these issues, we propose a Multimodal Flood Event Dataset (MFED) for deep-learning-based flood event analyses and data retrieval. It consists of 18 years of multi-source remote sensing imagery and heterogeneous textual information covering flood-prone areas worldwide. Incorporating optical and radar imagery can exploit the correlation and complementarity between distinct image modalities to capture the pixel features in flood imagery. It is worth noting that text modality data, including auxiliary hydrological information extracted from the Global Flood Database and text information refined from online news records, can also offer a semantic supplement to the images for flood event retrieval and analysis. To verify the applicability of the MFED in deep learning models, we carried out experiments with different models using a single modality and different combinations of modalities, which fully verified the effectiveness of the dataset. Furthermore, we also verify the efficiency of the MFED in comparative experiments with existing multimodal datasets and diverse neural network structures.

Tinjauan Yuridis Putusan Pengadilan Agama Stabat No.1062/Pdt. G/2015/PA.Stab Tentang Pembatalan Hibah Perspektif Teori Keadilan

This study aims to analyze the decision of the Religious Court Stabat No.1062/Pdt. G/2015/PA.Stab regarding grant cancellation. This study uses a statutory and conceptual approach. The data sources used are primary data sources consisting of decisions from the Religious Courts, compilations of Islamic law, books of civil law laws, compilations of sharia economic laws. Meanwhile, secondary sources of law consist of books of Islamic jurisprudence, law books, and scientific journal articles. The results of this study indicate that the panel of judges examining cases of disputes over the cancellation of grants uses article 35 paragraph 1, article 36 paragraph 1 of law number 1 of 1974 concerning joint property and article 1338 of the Civil Code regarding agreements/agreement, thus ignoring the article regarding the permissibility of withdrawing a grant object even though the grant is without the approval of other heirs. The panel of judges should ideally be guided by the concept of Maqasid Syari'ah, namely maintenance of property and offspring. Thus, it can avoid negative impacts that will occur in family ties, such as the relationship between parents and their heirs. However, according to Hans Kelsen's theory of justice, the legal considerations made by judges in deciding cases of cancellation of grants are inconsistent in terms of the application of the legal system in force in Indonesia because according to him a sense of justice has not been fulfilled for justice seekers.

Pelaksanaan Eksekusi Barang Jaminan pada PT. Nusa Surya Ciptadana Cabang Soe dalam Perspektif Undang-Undang Nomor 42 Tahun 1999 Tentang Jaminan Fidusia

The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of the execution of collateral at Pt. Nusa Surya ciptadana soe branch in the perspective of Law Number 42 of 1999 concerning fiduciary guarantees. The research method used is empirical research so that the data sources used are primary data sources and secondary data. Primary data is obtained from interviews with sources and secondary data by visiting objects to obtain the necessary information. The conclusion of this research is that in the process of executing a collateral object at PT Nusa Surya Ciptadana Soe Branch, it is carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 29 paragraph (1) letter c and the provisions of Article 15 paragraph (3) of Law Number 42 of 1999 concerning Fiduciary Guarantees. The legal consequences arising against the debtor, namely the existence of an agreement so that the creditor in withdrawing fiduciary collateral goods is not secured by the police and not through a letter of determination through the district court, causing an imbalance in the position between the creditor and the debtor. Based on this research, the researcher suggests that the financing institution in withdrawing and selling the fiduciary guarantee object needs to make a derivative regulation of the Constitutional Court's decision governing the implementation of the execution of fiduciary guarantees in order to maintain a balance so that the proceeds from the sale of the guarantee object do not harm both parties can change the provisions in the Fiduciary Guarantee Law regarding when the debtor is said to be in breach of promise and the need to outline the mechanism of the District Court guidelines. For the Community, before agreeing to a principal agreement, it is necessary to understand the contents of the clause of an agreement so that the desired breach of promise does not occur.

Fithrah, Basic Human Potential and the Development of Moderate Character in Religion Thematic Analysis of Hadiths of Fithrah

This article is based on the idea that there are a tendency to understand hadith in a partial way and the demand for its relevance in answering contemporary problems. This is what happens with the concept of fitrah, where the hadiths containing this theme are very diverse, but the analysis of their understanding tends to be carried out separately. Also how this concept can be developed and useful in the Indonesian context, especially regarding religious moderation. To answer this problem, the author conducted library research to examine the meaning of fitrah in the Prophet's hadith by using hadith books, such as Sahih al-Bukhari as the primary data source. After the fitrah hadiths were obtained, they were then analyzed using a thematic-comprehensive method. The results of the research show that there are 2 (two) main meanings contained in the fitrah hadiths, namely: First, the nature of the religious potential of monotheism or the affirmation of God. This potential exists in every creature because it is a gift from God that was given along with the creation of humans. Second, purity. This second meaning is in principle a consequence of the religious potential that exists within humans, both physical and psychological (inner). Fitrah as basic human potential can grow into positive and/or negative characters. Therefore, the effort to maintain it is to carry out actions that support its existence, such as maintaining personal cleanliness, abstaining from disgraceful actions, worshiping according to guidance and praying. Regarding religious moderation, the potential of fitrah can be developed as a basis for forming moderate character in line with efforts to realize the element of 'purity' that accompanies fitrah. For this reason, there are 3 (three) things that must be optimized so that the ideal moderation character in children can be formed, namely: instilling values, presenting role models, and giving orders and prohibitions

Analisis Dampak Pengangguran dan Tingkat Kemiskinan di Provinsi Lampung 2016-2020

The province of Lampung in Indonesia continues to face a great deal of poverty. The purpose of this study is to look at how poverty levels in this area are affected by population (X2) and unemployment (X1). Numerous primary and secondary sources of data are gathered, and relevant statistical techniques are applied to the analysis. The analysis's findings demonstrate that unemployment (X1) significantly affects Lampung's poverty level, with rising unemployment rates being correlated with rising poverty levels. Contrary to predictions, however, population size (X2) does not appear to have a meaningful impact on the amount of poverty. This implies that other variables might have a greater influence on how impoverished this area is. These results have significant ramifications for Lampung's development strategy. The main focus of policy should be on initiatives to lower the unemployment rate by increasing job opportunities for the populace and creating jobs through skill-training programs. Other aspects of poverty, such as access to healthcare and education, should also be taken into consideration.

Internalization of Character Education Values in The Creative Process of Lontar Transcripts of Stkip Agama Hindu Amlapura Students

<span lang="EN-US">The creative process of lontar transcripts as one of the demands of theL ontar Transcript course at the Balinese Language Education Study Program, STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura is very important given to students as provision to become a teacher of Hindu Religious Education. Through this learning it turns out to be able to strengthen the value of character education among students. This study aims to identify internalized character education values and describe the process of internalizing character education values in the transcription of lontar students of STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura. This research is classified as qualitative research, the locus of research is at STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura. The subjects of this study were 105 students of the Hindu Religious Education Study Program, STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura semester 5, room 01-03 in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. Data types use qualitative and quantitative data, while data sources use primary and secondary data sources. Methods of data collection using participatory observation methods and questionnaires. Data analysis using descriptive statistics. The results showed that: (1) There were 17 types of character education values internalized in the creative process of lontar transcripts for STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura students, namely: hard work, independent, religious, curiosity, responsibility, discipline, creative, love of the land water, honest, fond of reading, appreciating achievement, tolerance, democratic, peace-loving, communicative, environmental care, and social care. (2) The process of internalizing the values of character education in the creative process of the lontar transcripts of STKIP Agama Hindu Amlapura students, namely: (1) the process of receiving values, (2) the process of responding to values, (3) the process of selecting values, (4) the process of internalizing or appreciation of values (personalizing values), and (5) the process of actualizing or applying values. Strengthening the values of character education can be done through the creative process of lontar transcripts. With the internalization of these character education values, students are able to actualize them into their daily behavior in the life of society, nation and state.</span>

Innovative lithology identification enhancement via the recurrent transformer model with well logging data

In the field of oil and gas exploration and development, accurately predicting lithology is crucial for strategic decision-making. Identifying subsurface rock types helps determine the distribution, quantity, and recoverability of oil and gas reserves, guiding exploratory efforts and increasing the likelihood of successful resource extraction. Our research focuses on enhancing lithology prediction accuracy through the development of the Recurrent Transformer model. This innovative model combines the Transformer architecture with recurrent elements, optimizing the processing of well logging data, inherently comprising time-series information. The recurrent structure effectively learns local contextual information, improving responsiveness to geological variations impacting lithology. Additionally, we integrated the Recurrent Scale-wise Attention (RSA) mechanism into our model, uniquely suited to well logging data. RSA captures and interprets multi-scale information by implementing attention mechanisms at varying scales, enhancing the model's understanding of sequence data. The recursive element within RSA further strengthens the model's ability to process contextual nuances. Key well log curves, including Density (DEN), Acoustic (AC), Gamma-ray (GR), and Compensated Neutron Log (CNL), serve as primary data sources for extracting geological features. These features are input into the Recurrent Transformer, establishing correlations between lithological characteristics and well logging parameters. Comparative analysis with leading-edge models using an experimental dataset revealed the Recurrent Transformer's high prediction accuracy and remarkable generalization capabilities across diverse lithological prediction tasks and geological conditions. This model represents a significant advancement in machine learning for well logging lithology prediction, providing geologists and engineers with a precise and efficient tool, enhancing resource exploration and development quality and reliability. The Recurrent Transformer model showcases the potential of integrating advanced machine learning in geosciences, opening new horizons in oil and gas resource exploration and utilization.

The comparison of interactive video learning experiences in branched vs. straight scenarios with the focus of content type

ABSTRACT Interactive videos have the potential to boost content-student interactions. This study is an attempt to observe the logs of interactions in two different learning scenarios (straight and branched scenario) by two different content types (declarative and procedural). The study aims to understand if learning experiences vary across scenario-content combinations. It is built upon experimental design methodology. The experimental group (N = 20) interacted with the branched scenario, while the control group (N = 20) engaged in the straight scenario. Each group engaged in both content types with varying scenarios. Logs, screen recordings, and interviews were the primary data sources. The results indicated that for the declarative content type, time spent in the straight scenario was significantly higher than that of the branched scenario. Still, the collected points of the branched scenario were substantially higher than that of the straight one. These effects were not observed in procedural content. General content and concepts were mentioned frequently in declarative content with a higher amount in branched-declarative than in straight-declarative combination. Retrieval for details was observed frequently in the straight-procedural combination. The navigational patterns varied across combinations, but pausing, forwarding, rewinding, and skipping were commonly observed in declarative content regardless of the scenario type.

Certain Studies on Alzheimer's disease: A Comprehensive Review

The brain serves as the central control centre for our body, and as time progresses, an increasing number of new brain diseases are being identified. A brain disease is any medical problem or disorder that interferes with the brain's normal functioning. This review briefs about various types of deep learning models for neurological disorders, in addition to neurodegenerative conditions like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. In addition to various dataset identifiers commonly used as the primary source of brain disease data in the reviewed studies, forty other methodologies are examined. AUC, sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, and other performance evaluation parameters have also been addressed and recorded. The key findings from the reviewed articles are briefly summarized, and several major issues regarding machine learning and deep learning-based diagnostic approaches for brain diseases are discussed.

Social media regulation in Uganda: the dilemma of laxity and conformity to international norms

ABSTRACT The proliferation of social media use has resulted in the quest for standards and norms relating to internet governance. Uganda has gradually instituted laws, occasionally shut down the internet and levied taxes to regulate social media use. Initially, the norms and standards resulted from negative consequences of social media use, such as hate speech, incitement, and misinformation. However, the regime has used this pretext to curtail collective voices, dissent, and freedom of expression that social media use brings into the political arena. The dilemma in the international system is that social media regulation has taken a new twist as different countries adopt what they feel is appropriate. Drawing from the primary and secondary data sources, it can be concluded that the Ugandan regime has used social media regulation to keep political dissent, incitement, and protests in check, and states such as Uganda get support from big actors that are proponents of legal frameworks and internet sovereignty.

Innovatoion capability: Digital transformation of human resources and digital talent in SMEs

This research investigated the relationship between the digitalization of human capital, digital talent, and innovation capabilities among Business Unit employees. The mediating role of digital talent in the digital transformation of human resources and innovation capability among SMEs was examined. Business Unit employees were tested using the PLS-SEM method, and a survey was conducted on SME Business Unit employees. The purposive technique was developed with convenience sampling and chosen as a non-probability sampling technique. The primary data sources were 185 respondents who worked within the SME business unit in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the digital transformation of human resources, talent, and innovative capacity has a strong positive correlation. The link between innovative capabilities and digital transformation is mediated by digital talent. This study contributes to the human resources post-recruitment, talent management, and digital talent literature in the management function, and it underscores the crucial role of human and technological factors in the digital transformation of human resources, which is increasingly visible on the path to organizational success.
