This study develops a novel broadband L-shaped piezoelectric energy harvester that integrates bistability and internal resonance. The incorporation of magnets into the L-shaped beam creates a bistable system and realize the 1:2 internal resonance. Through the incremental harmonic balance method and Runge-Kutta method, the frequency domain and time domain characteristics of voltage-frequency response are analyzed comprehensively. In the presence of internal resonance, the voltage response curve has two peaks and exhibits mixed softening and hardening characteristics. The findings demonstrate that the combination of bistability and internal resonance is beneficial to broadening the frequency bandwidth.
