Design of Digital Teaching Material of Sustainable Lifestyle Theme Integrated Ethno-PjBL for Independent Curriculum Learning

This study aims to produce digital teaching materials on the theme of sustainable lifestyle integrated with Ethno-PjBL that are valid, practical, and effective for independent curriculum learning. The type of research used is design research with the Plomp model, which consists of a preliminary research stage, a prototype stage, and an assessment stage. The research is limited only to the practicality stage at the assessment stage, with a trial on 36 students of SMAN Kota Jambi in 2023/2024. The research instruments include teacher interview guidelines, needs analysis questionnaires, knowledge tests, creative thinking tests, validation instruments, and practicality. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, namely describing the validity of Aiken's V and its practicality. The results of the study show that the digital teaching materials on the Theme of Sustainable Lifestyle Integrated with Ethno-PjBL for Independent Curriculum Learning have valid criteria and a very good level of practicality, according to teachers and students. Thus, this digital teaching material is valid and practical for use in learning

The Google Form and Microsoft Excel applications: Non-Cognitive Initial Diagnostic Test Instrument for Guidance and Counseling Teachers

This research is motivated by the lack of effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the distribution of non-cognitive initial diagnostic tests conducted by Guidance and Counseling teachers. The very long time allocation makes many Guidance and Counseling teachers unwilling to carry out the initial non-cognitive diagnostic test because it requires up time for other student assistance services. The Non-Cognitive Initial Diagnostic Test is very important to do as student learning profiling, which can be used as initial data in conducting differentiated learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of Google Forms and Ms Excel applications as non-cognitive initial diagnostic test instruments for Guidance and Counseling teachers. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection uses observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data validity techniques using triangulation techniques. The results of research use the Five Stages method, namely the Preliminary Research Stage, Model Development Stage, Model Validation Stage, Effectiveness Test Stage, and Dissemination Stage. Google Forms and Ms. Excel have ease of operation, distribution, data processing and accessibility. Google Forms and Ms. Excel a very appropriate combinations of applications for conducting non-cognitive diagnostic tests, because of their effectiveness efficiency and operation.

English for Islamic Philosophy: A Development of Digital Dictionary of English Loanword

PurposeThe aim of this research was to investigate the suitability of loanwords to the needs of students majoring in Islamic philosophy, analyze the design interface of the English loanword dictionary application, and understand how they access and use the dictionary. MethodThis study made uses of Research & Development design, a research method used to produce a work or product. The first stage is the preliminary research stage, followed by the product development stage, then the model validation stage, the trial effectiveness stage, and finally, the dissemination or publication and product socialization stage. The research engaged the students and the lecturers as the key informant taken randomly from the Islamic philosophy study program. The data were analyzed qualitatively using the concept of friendly android bilingual dictionary.Results/findingsThe research findings indicated that an English loanword dictionary with comprehensive features was highly beneficial for Islamic philosophy students. This dictionary helped students to understand the terms, and use them in their contexts of Islamic philosophy. The application's user-friendly features enhanced accessibility, with a clear home screen and intuitive navigation.ConclusionThe study concluded that the loanword app played significant role in helping students understanding Islamic philosophy terminology. Future research could explore the app's impact on students' academic performance, language proficiency, and critical thinking skills.

Development of Basic Mathematics Modules Based on Professional Competencies

The low ability to understand mathematical concepts affects the learning outcomes of information systems study program students in basic mathematics courses. This is because basic mathematics courses tend to be disliked by the YPTK information systems study program students at Putra Indonesia University in Padang. After all, they consider basic mathematics courses do not significantly contribute to their field of expertise. Students prefer courses that suit their area of ​​expertise. Basic mathematics is an abstract subject and is a difficult subject. Students have difficulty applying mathematical concepts to solve problems. The learning module is a basic mathematics module based on professional competence. This basic mathematics module connects basic mathematics subject matter with subject matter in the field of expertise, namely information systems. This research aims to produce a basic mathematics module based on professional competence in the information systems study program at Putra Indonesia University YPTK Padang. This type of research is development research(R&D). The stages in developing this basic mathematics module are the development stages proposed by Plomp. This research carried out a preliminary research stage. Experts carry out product validation. Our instrument is a validation sheet with a Likert scale. The results of the expert validation analysis from aspects of presentation/dictates, suitability of content, language, and graphics obtained an average of 3.39 with a very valid category, which means that the basic mathematics module based on professional competence is suitable for use in basic subjects. Application of Learning Media in Improving Higher Order Thinking Skills in Electronics Teaching Materials

This research aims to create a learning multimedia application that can be used by students in learning. The method used is development research from Jan Van De Akker with formative evaluation from Martin Tessmer. The research stage consists of four stages, namely the preliminary research stage, prototype, summative evaluation, and systematic reflection and documentation. Based on user assessment, the learning multimedia is practical to use with a practicality level of 83% and is included in the good category. The effectiveness of multimedia at the summative evaluation stage is based on the post-test results. The results of the student posttest stated that 9 out of 12 students scored ≥75, meaning that 75% of the participants passed and this multimedia is effective. The results showed that the learning multimedia application can improve the higher-order thinking skills of students.

Development of History Problems Based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Using Anderson Krathwohl Taxonomy

This study aims to 1) analyze the condition of the historical electronic module currently used at SMA Banda Aceh, especially in class XII Indonesian history subjects, 2) describe the development of the historical electronic module that was developed, and 3) describe the feasibility level of the electronic module that has been developed. This research is a type of R D research by adopting the development model of Borg and Gall. To produce this historical electronic module, researchers adopted two stages of development, namely the preliminary research stage and the development research stage. In the preliminary research stage, the researcher conducted a library study and observation. In the development research stage, the researchers carried out module designs, validated with experts and educators, revised, and conducted initial trials on six class XII students at SMA Banda Aceh. The research process was carried out using research instruments in the form of validation sheets and questionnaires. The results showed that 1) the historical electronic module used at SMA Banda Aceh in class XII is a module from the Kemendikbud, 2) the process of developing this module was carried out using Heyzine media in accordance with the advice of experts and educators, the initial trial process was carried out on six students with the final results of PBL-based historical electronic modules for class XII students at SMA Banda Aceh are very suitable for use, with a score of 98% from module experts, 88% from material experts, 86% from educators, and 90% from students.

Abstract: Chinese sportsmanship is the essence of Chinese sports and national spirit, and the soul and essence of Chinese sports. In reality, people understand the sportsmanship as a form of exercise that is detached from the spiritual level, neglecting the spiritual value comparable to physical exercise, concealing its deep spiritual connotations and placing the spirit of sports in a corner, away from the “bravery of the soul and the vitality of the body” of sports. The philosophical foundation and historical development of Chinese sports spirit have been explored and examined, aiming to understand the profound connotation and value of Chinese sports spirit. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the spirit of Chinese sports has played a special leading role in China, and has been widely recognized and affirmed by the Party Central Committee and various social classes. However, people’s understanding of it is not deep enough and is only in the preliminary research stage. Kevalidan dan Kepraktisan LKPD Berbasis PBL terhadap Kemampuan Penalaran Matematis pada Materi Relasi dan Fungsi

The development of student-based worksheets Problem-Based Learning (PBL) was an alternative to overcome the lack of mathematical reasoning skills in the subject of Relations and Functions. This study aims to produce worksheets based on PBL on relations and functions that are valid and practical for mathematical reasoning abilities. The type of research used was a development study using the development flow preliminary research and prototyping stage (formative evaluation Tessmer groove). The subjects of this study were students of class VIII SMP Negeri 19 Palembang. The data collection techniques used were walkthroughs in the form of an expert questionnaire, student questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data validation student worksheets obtained with 3 validators and practicality data obtained from practicality questionnaires given to students. The results showed the validity based on 3 validators who said it was valid and feasible to use, the practicality percentage was 82.33% in the very practical category with an average percentage of students' mathematical reasoning abilities of 83% in the very practical category. So it would be concluded that PBL-based student worksheets on the material of relations and functions tested are valid and practical for mathematical reasoning abilities.

Needs Analysis of Design for the Integrated Project-Based Learning Module at Edupark Physics Science and Technology Center Sawahlunto


 Visiting a Geopark or tourist attraction has become a lifestyle of the community, but the visit is still limited to a tourist visit and the activity is no more than to capture moments or recreation such as enjoying the beauty of nature, taking pictures, selfies, playing and others. Geoparks or tourist attractions as learning resources have not been maximally utilized, including the Sawahlunto Science and Technology Center. This research is a preliminary research that aims to analyze the needs in the development of physics edupark-based learning modules at the iptek center destination in sawahlunto. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) or also known as research and development using the Plomp model. This research is only a preliminary research stage consisting of teacher analysis, student analysis, and analysis of potential materials at the sawahlunto science and technology center. Data used in this study were obtained from interviews and questionnaires given to physics teachers and 30 students of class XI SMAN 13 Padang. Based on this preliminary research, the results obtained that teaching materials in the form of PjBL-based modules associated with edupark have benefits to; motivate students in learning, display physics phenomena as a whole, help develop students' knowledge and skills and help students in mastering physics material. In addition, the sawahlunto science and technology center tourism activities can be used as a physics edupark and as an object for developing teaching materials in the form of PjBL-based modules in the form of photos and videos because they have a lot to do with physics concepts. So it can be concluded that the PjBL-based learning module is a suitable teaching material if used as a physics edupark learning media.

Radec Learning and Literacy: Enhancing Students’ Literacy through the Development of Radec Learning Model at Madrasah

Literacy is one of the important things to be cultivated from an early age, because with literacy the window of the world will open. This research was an effort to foster literacy from an early age through the development of the Radec Learning model at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The purpose of this research was to produce a product in the form of developing a learning model using the Radec Learning model. The method used was Research and Development (RnD) to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of these products by adapting the McKenny Model as a stage consisting of preliminary research, prototyping phase, and assessment stage. The results of this study included: 1) The development of the Radec Learning model was significantly proven to be able to develop students’ learning outcomes at MIN 1 Pasaman; 2) This Radec Learning model was declared valid after being validated by the validator; and 3) There was a practical level of practical application of the Radec Learning model, with evidence of its development and increasing student creativity in learning. Thus, the application of the Radec Learning model of learning could develop literacy from an early age and as an alternative in the selection of learning models that would be applied in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Designing moodle-based learning media integrated with H5P interactive on chemical equilibrium topic

Chemical equilibrium is one of the learning materials that is difficult to understand in learning chemistry. To increase student understanding and participation in learning chemical equilibrium topics, research was conducted to design. This is because Moodle-based learning media combined with H5P on chemical equilibrium topics combines media that utilizes technology to produce an interactive learning experience. This research is included in educational design research using the Plomp development model, including the preliminary research stage by conducting need and context analysis, literature review, and theoretical framework and prototyping phase, including initial plan and self-evaluation. The research subjects were six teachers from SMAN 1 Pariaman, SMAN 2 Pariaman, and SMAN 3 Pariaman, and fifty students of SMAN 1 Pariaman. The object of this research is Moodle-based learning media integrated with H5P interactive. The instruments of this research are questionnaire sheets and interview sheets. For the results based on preliminary research data and the prototyping phase, it can be concluded that the design of Moodle-based learning media using the Plomp development model, which produces prototype II, has been successfully carried out according to the design based on the analysis results in preliminary research. I hope that the prototype in the form of Moodle-based learning integrated with H5P interactive can produce learning media that can be used in school to support chemistry learning and improve interactive learning experiences.

Preliminary Research Science and Islam Interactive Multimedia Based on Discovery Learning for Digital Era

The purpose of this study is to explain the preliminary research stage that was conducted at Jambi City Elementary School as preliminary data for research on the development of scientific and Islamic interactive multimedia based on discovery learning for digital era. The descriptive technique utilized in this study explains the preliminary research stage of the PLOMP development model. Interview guidelines and student digital literacy surveys were utilized as study instruments. According to the findings of the investigation, pupils’ digital literacy was in the good category, with percentages ranging between 62% and 65%. This implies that students can keep up with technical advancements in digital-era learning. This is an opportunity to create an ICT-based multimedia. This study will create scientific and Islamic interactive multimedia based on discovery learning to promote learning in the digital age while also exposing scientific principles and truths that are believed to exist in Islam.

The combination of the Song Dynasty patterns and digital technology

Abstract The Song-era artifacts carry ideas of naturalness and moderate elegance, preserving and passing them on to future generations. The emerging digital opportunities and initiatives allow us not only to study pattern samples in detail but also to create digital equivalents that are not subject to aging or destruction. This research aims to obtain specific knowledge and situational experience regarding the digitization of Song Dynasty patterns. At the preliminary research stage, the authors performed an online survey on a popular Chinese platform. The survey confirmed the interest of a wide audience in cultural heritage (CH) objects and their preservation. The respondents noted the focus on digital sources of information and considered the documentary video format an optimal educational design. In the first stage, Song patterns were digitally processed using MATLAB version 7.0 and ACDSee. In the subsequent phase, based on the processed patterns, the authors developed an instructional video. In the third stage, the researchers assessed students’ knowledge acquired by watching a video (experimental group) or attending a lecture with a presentation based on raw patterns (control group). The results obtained before and after the intervention showed significant progress in each group. It indicated the effectiveness of the digitized images and this intervention for obtaining new knowledge and raising awareness about the Song Dynasty CH.

How applicable are the KuMo and FiC as teaching tools for mathematics content?

The module operation still seems essential, and not all students are motivated to learn it. In this case, the teaching materials and the learning model are the benchmark for student success in learning. The Plomp development model is used to build mathematics modules. This module is inspired by teaching materials that can be more diverse and interesting. The aim of developing a mathematics module based on comparative fiqh comic material using the Kumon model is to determine the development process and effectiveness of use based on feasibility test requirements, as well as student responses to the development of a mathematics comic module for comparative learning for junior high school students at YALC Pasuruan. The research results on the development of the mathematics comic module show that the module development process consisting of a preliminary research stage, a prototyping search stage, and an evaluation stage of its application to learning comparative material is feasible and valid for use—student responses showing excellence. However, the Kumon module media based on fiqh comics has yet to maximize students’ understanding of concepts as measured by their mathematical abilities.

Vim: Research on OWL-Based Vocabulary Ontology Construction Method for Units of Measurement

The advent of the digital era has put forward an urgent demand for the digitization of units of measurement, and the construction of unit ontology is an important method to realize the digitization of units of measurement. However, the existing unit ontology is at the preliminary research stage, especially the bilingual unit of measurement suitable for the construction of Digital China. Based on the Web Ontology Language (OWL), a bilingual unit of measurement ontology, vim, is designed and constructed using the Seven Steps to Ontology Development approach. vim provides a standardized, interoperable, and unified architecture to realize the bilingual digital representation of units in the International Vocabulary of Metrology—Basic and general concepts (VIM) and from the Chinese metrological technical specification JJF 1001-2011 General Terms in Metrology and Their Definitions. The ontology was verified for machine readability, knowledge reasoning capability, and semantic retrieval and applied. The experimental results show that the vim ontology can achieve machine readability with correct syntax, logical consistency, and validity, and can facilitate data communication and sharing. Furthermore, a comparison between vim, OM, and QUDT was conducted. OM and QUDT serve as representative instances in the field of ontology for units. The construction of this ontology lays the foundation for realizing the digitization and standardization of China’s unit of measurement, as well as the machine-readability, interoperability, and sharing of domestic and foreign metrology test data and metrology certificates.

Preliminary research on the development of PS-BK learning model in basic electronics courses

This research is motivated by the importance of increasing the competence of human resources in facing global competition in the current 4.0 revolution era. Therefore, learning models that can prepare students to master critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and creative and innovative thinking skills must be developed. This preliminary study aims to identify the elements necessary for the development of the PS-BK (Integrated Problem Solving and Creative Thinking) learning model in basic electronics courses. The Plomp development design’s preliminary research stage is this one. The needs and context analysis, literature review, and conceptual theory development make up this preliminary research. Data collection techniques are using questionnaires and observation sheets. The data analysis technique used is the percentage technique. The learning outcomes obtained by dividing the value with the highest percentage, on the B- and C+ grades, indicate that the majority of lecturers use conventional models so that learning activities have not maximally involved students in building knowledge and developing their thinking skills, over the preceding three years (2019, 2020, and 2021).. Based on needs and context analysis as well as analysis of student characteristics in basic electronics learning, it is known that PS-BK learning models need to be developed in improving students’ abilities and developing creative thinking ability.

The Five-Tier Multiple Choice Instruments in Parabolic Motion for Assessing Concept Understanding of High School Students

One purpose of physics learning in the 2013 Curriculum was achieved an understanding of the concepts in each physics material. In facts, the teacher had not assessed the students’ concepts understanding, there were no instruments for assessing concept understanding at school and there were misconceptions about the parabolic motion. The solution that can be used to answer this problem was made a five-tier multiple-choice instrument on parabolic motion which was valid and practical to used for assessing concepts uderstanding. This research was development research using the Plomp model which was conducted until the prototype phase. The research began with preliminary research stage. At this stage, giving questionnaires to teachers and a journal analysis was conducted regarding understanding concepts of student on parabolic motion. Then, the research continued with the prototype phase stage was developed five-tier a multiple-choice instrument and determine the validity and practicality of developed product. Based on preliminary research result, it was found that the teacher had not assessed the students’ concepts understanding, there were no instruments for assessing concept understanding at school and there were misconceptions on the parabolic motion. In the development or prototyping phase, produced a five-tier multiple-choice instrument for parabolic motion and conclusions was obtained that the five-tier multiple-choice instrument on parabolic motion was valid and practise to use for assessing the understanding of the concepts of high school students. Therefore, the five-tier multiple choice instrument in parabolic motion can be used in schools for improving students’ concept understanding, especially in parabolic motion.

Creative Thinking Skill Indicators in PjBL-based Reaction Rate Student Worksheets

This study aims to dig up informations about the suitability of creative thinking skill indicators in PjBL student worksheets on reaction rate material in the context of making liquid organic fertilizer from banana peels. The method used in this study is design research at the preliminary research stage and the development or prototyping stage. The preliminary research consisted of analysis of the literature review about project-based learning, creative thinking skills, and liquid organic fertilizer from banana peels. The development of prototyping stage consisted designing project-based student worksheets that designs to develop creative thinking skills and validation process or expert judgement by the validator about the designed worksheets. The results showed that there was a very good suitability (100%) bertween project-based stages and creative thinking skill indicators. There are three indicators of creative thinking skills that can be found in this worksheets, which is fluency thinking, flexibility thinking, and elaboration thinking. This shows that creative thinking skill indicators can be well formulated into project-based student worksheets on reaction rate material

Designing Interactive Learning Application Using Markerless Augmented Reality on Evolution of Atomic Theory Material

To increase student understanding and enrich the learning experience, research was conducted with the aim of designing a interactive learning application using markerless augmented reality as an interesting solution. This is because learning applications use augmented reality in evolution of atomic theory material into a form of education that combines innovative technology with personalized learning, so that it can help create a generation that is technologically skilled and ready to face future challenges. This research includes educational design research using Plomp development model, including preliminary research stage by doing the needs and context analysis, literature review, and theoretical framework and prototyping stage, including initial plan and self evaluation. For the results based on preliminary research data and the prototyping phase, it can be concluded that the design of learning applications using Plomp development model which produces prototype II that has been successfully run as expected according to the design based on the results of analysis in preliminary research. This application prototype is hoped to be continued to produce learning applications that can be used in schools to support chemistry learning.

Spectral Swin Transformer Network for Hyperspectral Image Classification

Hyperspectral images are complex images that contain more spectral dimension information than ordinary images. An increasing number of HSI classification methods are using deep learning techniques to process three-dimensional data. The Vision Transformer model is gradually occupying an important position in the field of computer vision and is being used to replace the CNN structure of the network. However, it is still in the preliminary research stage in the field of HSI. In this paper, we propose using a spectral Swin Transformer network for HSI classification, providing a new approach for the HSI field. The Swin Transformer uses group attention to enhance feature representation, and the sliding window attention calculation can take into account the contextual information of different windows, which can retain the global features of HSI and improve classification results. In our experiments, we evaluated our proposed approach on several public hyperspectral datasets and compared it with several methods. The experimental results demonstrate that our proposed model achieved test accuracies of 97.46%, 99.7%, and 99.8% on the IP, SA, and PU public HSI datasets, respectively, when using the AdamW optimizer. Our approach also shows good generalization ability when applied to new datasets. Overall, our proposed approach represents a promising direction for hyperspectral image classification using deep learning techniques.
