Applying Of Jigsaw Model To Enhance Students’ Reading Comprehension

The purpose of the research was to know the Jigsaw learning model can enhance on VII grade students’ cognitive learning outcomes in reading comprehension at SMPN 1 Praya Barat. It was participant classroom action research. It was done in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. Subject of the research was 32 students. Instruments used were students' test, students' and teacher’s activities used observation sheets, at the end of each cycle. The research findings show that implementation of Jigsaw learning model can improve students' cognitive competence. Percentage of students' classical achievement in cognitive competence improves time by time. In pre-cycle, the percentage is 46% (not enough), in cycle I is 50% (not enough) and in cycle II is 92% (very good). Meanwhile, percentage of students' Activity also improves. In pre-cycle, the percentage is 52% (enough), in cycle I is 64% (good) and in cycle II is 80% (very good). From the finding, it proves that the implementation of Jigsaw learning model can improve students' cognitive competence and Activity in class VII of SMPN 1 Praya Barat

Tradisi Pisuke Pada Perkawinan Adat Masyarakat Lombok Perspektif Hukum Islam

Lombok has a wedding tradition called pisuke. This study aims to find out or analyze how the pisuke tradition in traditional marriages of Lombok people in Ranggagata Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency, Islamic Law perspective. This research uses qualitative methods and qualitative descriptive design. Data collection was carried out using field observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used include data collection, data presentation, and data verification. Analysis of research data, the results of the research are as follows: 1) Pisuke tradition processes, starting to involve village heads and local traditional leaders as representatives of both parties to discuss the number of pisuke that will be distributed by the male side for the female side, in determining the number of pisuke there are certain categories that support the high or low number of pisuke, namely the education level of women and the economic level of men but things This is not absolute as a reference because it goes back to the deliberative decision of both parties in determining the number of pisuke. 2) Pisuke is a custom or habit that is carried out for generations. Pisuke is one of the customs used for the settlement of Lombok customary nikhan, although pisuke is not contained in Islamic law but pisuke has become a tradition that is considered good to be applied among the community because it does not violate nash or syara If it is related to living, in this case pisuke has no relationship at all with living because there are several points that make it cannot be equated with living, That is the gift of pisuke which is sometimes given after the contract and before the contract

Spatial Characteristics of Porang Development and Competitive Advantages in The Central Lombok Highlands

: In 2020 Indonesia's export volume for porang reached 14,568 tons compared to 2019 of 11,720, so it deserves priority for development including in Central Lombok Regency. This study aims to analyze the spatial characteristics of porang development, analyze the competitiveness of porang, and analyze the stabilization of porang production in Central Lombok Regency. Data analysis uses the analysis of Localization Coefficient, Specialization Coefficient, Location Quotient (LQ), Basic Service Ratio (BSR), Regional Multiplier (RM), and competitive profit. To obtain diversity and variety of data, Central Lombok is divided into 4 research areas or clusters; Batu Keliang District Area, Kopang District Area, Pujut District Area, Praya Barat District Area. Furthermore, in each cluster area, 5 samples (respondents) were determined for each commodity under review (porang, cassava, sweet potato). Thus the number of respondents to 60 people. MINIMISASI BIAYA PRODUKSI KEDELAI DI KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH

Generally, farmers plant soybeans after harvesting rice, which are cultivated using a tugal and spread system. The cost and production of soybeans produced with these two cropping systems will differ from one another. Under these conditions, how much production must be produced so that the production costs of cultivating soybeans in Central Lombok Regency are minimum?Based on these problems, this research wants to know the amount of soybean production that must be achieved by farmers in Central Lombok Regency, so that production costs are minimal. Using 60 respondents who were determined by purposive disproportionate random sampling in two sub-districts on the basis of the two sub-districts being used as soybean production centers, namely Jonggat and Praya Barat sub-districts, each 30 people.The results of inferential analysis of the cubed polynomial cost function model obtained the cost function equation: TC = 3,641.71 + 711.23Y + 0.28Y² - 0.000093Y³, with a coefficient of determination (R²) = 73.00%, meaning 73.00% variation the value of the total cost is determined by soybean production and only 22.00% of the total cost is influenced by factors outside production. On the other hand, the amount of soybean production that must be produced by farmers so that the minimum production costs are 3,010.75 kg with a minimum cost of Rp. 2,144,979.70 or by increasing the cultivated soybean area from 44.52 acres to 237.06 acres.

Rice Farming Business Prospects of the M70D Variety in Praya Barat District, Lombok Central District

This research is entitled "prospects of rice farming of the M70D variety in West Praya District, Central Lombok Regency". The objective of the research was to determine the production costs of the M70D rice farming business. To determine the income of rice farming varieties M70D. To find out the prospects for rice farming of the M70D variety. Methods This research was conducted using descriptive methods. Descriptive method is a method used to analyze problems that occur by collecting, analyzing, describing, drawing conclusions, and interpreting.The analysis used in the research includes income and feasibility analysis. The results of the analysis show that the average production cost is IDR 6,325,184 and the average income earned by farmers isRp. 5,314,816and the efficiency of rice farming of the M70D variety is 1.84. This means that rice farming is feasible to develop and it is assumed that every one rupiah spent by farmers will bring income of 0.84 rupiahs.

Impact Analysis of The Benefits of Heach Heater (Eichornia Crassipess) for The Environment in The Batu Jai Dam Area, Central Lombok District

The Batu Jai Dam functions as an irrigation facility in the agricultural areas of Penujak, Setanggor, Darek, Ungga, Ranggagata, and around Praya Barat District, Central Lombok Regency with an area of ​​3,350 ha. Water hyacinth is a dangerous weed because it grows very fast, so a model for the control and utilization of water hyacinth (Eichornia crassipes) must be carried out. One way to do this is to utilize the water hyacinth plant into a marketable product such as fertilizer, handicraft products and others. The technique of determining the location and population is done by purposive sampling method. The results of a search with a questionnaire on 50 respondents about the benefits of water hyacinth plants obtained the benefits of water hyacinth plants according to the people around the Batujai dam, namely 40% stated that the benefits of water hyacinth plants as raw materials for making fertilizer, 30% as raw materials for crafts such as sandals, bags, and other, 20% of water hyacinth plants are used as medicine and only 5% of the people consider water hyacinth plants as weeds. Whereas in extension activities with 35 participants, 48.6% stated that water hyacinth plants could be useful as raw materials for crafts, 37.1% stated that they were used as fertilizer raw materials, 3% stated that they were useful as medicine and 2% stated that they are weeds. concluded that water hyacinth plants are economically, socially, ecologically beneficial. This shows that water hyacinth plants are beneficial to the environment around the dam. Based on the results of the FGD, there were 3 important activities carried out by related agencies based on the results of counseling and interviews with the community, namely water hyacinth plants as fertilizer, as raw materials for crafts and determining the location of water hyacinth cultivation outside the Batujai Dunngan.

Planning in the Implementation of School Operational Assistance in Regular SMPN and SATAP in Praya Barat District, Indonesia

This study aimed to determine how to plan to implement school operational assistance in the school SMPN SATAP, Praya Barat District, Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative descriptive, evaluative method with a case study technique. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, interviews, documentation and assessment scale sheets for school principals, treasurers, committees and teachers. The study results found that the budget planning complies with the BOS technical guidance financing standards contained in the School Budget Work Plan (RKAS). The school operational assistance fund is implemented by planning, budgeting, monitoring, and accountability.

Identifikasi Tumbuhan Obat Tradisional Berbasis Kearifan Lokal di Desa Ranggagata Kecamatan Praya Barat Daya Kabupaten Lombok Tengah

Medicinal plants are all plants that can be used as medicine, ranging from those visible to the eye to those visible under a microscope. The medicinal plants referred to in this study are medicinal plants whose parts, whether roots, stems, leaves, flowers or tubers, are used as ingredients for ingredients derived from plants that have been used for generations for treatment based on local knowledge and understanding. Local wisdom is the values of humanity, togetherness, brotherhood, and knowledge which are considered important enough to be preserved, one of which is regarding medicinal plants used by the community. This research is a descriptive explorative research. This research is to reveal information about the types of traditional medicinal plants in Ranggagata Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency using the snowball sampling method. The data was collected through observation, interviews with non-medical healers (purchases), and documentation. The results showed that there were 41 types of medicinal plants from 32 families which were successfully identified and used by the people of Ranggagata Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency.

BRILink: Impact on Economic Welfare During the Covid-19 Pandemic in Praya Barat

BRI provides financial services through BRILink agent at remote villages. BRILink agent give service not only provides operational efficiency benefits, but also provides convenience for BRI’s customers and non customers. Phenomena that often occur in BRI Bank customers against Brilink Agents, both directly and indirectly, such as the quality of service provided to customers that are not up to standard so that it can lead to the customer's decision to return to transactions at Brilink Agents and the impact of these problems will decrease the number of transactions and decreased fee-based income for Brilink agents. This study aims to test and analyze the effect of BRILink on economic welfare in Praya Barat Central Lombok Regency during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research used the quantitative method with case study approach. The method that used multiple linear regression with the numeric variable include Classic Assumption Test. The data source was primary data and collection techniques conducted by interviews and observation. Respondents in this study we 27 agents of the BRILink in Praya Barat. The results showed that the number of agents and the number of transactions has a significant and positive effect on economics welfare in Praya Barat.

HUBUNGAN SELF MANAGEMENT DENGAN KECANDUAN GAME ONLINE SISWA KELAS XI DI SMAN 1 PRAYA BARAT KABUPATEN LOMBOK TENGAH TAHUN PELAJARAN 2021/2022

Self-management is self-control of thoughts, words, and actions that are carried out, and encourage oneself to do things that are not good and increase good and right actions. Addiction Online Game is one of the problems that gets the attention of the wider community because this problem will have an impact on several aspects of life, such as health aspects, psychological aspects, academic aspects, social aspects and financial aspects. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between self management with addiction online game in class XI students at SMAN 1 Praya Barat, Central Lombok Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. In this case the researcher will use quantitative research methods with the type of correlational research. In this study , the research population was 191 students and the sample used by this researcher was some students of SMAN 1 Praya Barat in class XI IPS with a total of 87 students. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. While the data collection techniques used are questionnaires, observations, interviews, and documentation.Correlation formula Product Moment, where the results of the t-count data analysis are 0.841 with a t-table value with db (N-1) = 87-1 = 86 with a significant level of 5% is 0.213. Thus, the t-count value is greater than the t value in the table (0.841 > 0.213), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self management with addiction online game in class XI students at SMAN 1 Praya Barat, Central Lombok Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. So the results of this study were declared "Significant".

Difficulties of Biology Teachers in Planning and Implementing Authentic Assessments in the 2013 Curriculum: Descriptive Studies on Biology Teachers in Senior High Schools

This study aims to describe the difficulties of biology teachers at senior high schools (SMA) in Praya Barat Daya District for the 2020/2021 academic year in planning and implementing an authentic assessment in the 2013 curriculum. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The informants in this study were biology teachers at SMAN 1 Praya Barat Daya, biology teachers at Al Maarif Pandan Indah Islamic High School, and biology teachers at Raudlatul Ulum Islamic High School Batu Jangkih, totaling 8 people. Data collection techniques are using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, steps were applied, namely data reduction, exposure or presentation of data and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the process of implementing an authentic assessment carried out by biology teachers was still less effective. Obtained data in planning the assessment of 78.75% included in the good category and in the implementation of the assessment obtained data of 43.26% included in the poor category. The difficulties experienced by biology teachers in planning authentic assessments of the 2013 curriculum are in determining the standard of assessment and the difficulties experienced by teachers in carrying out authentic assessments are in the affective domain.

Penyebab dan Resistensi Kegalauan pada Remaja Pacaran (Studi Kasus di Desa Pandan Indah Kabupaten Lombok Tengah)

Dating has become a part of social phenomena in society. Dating is indeed a way to strengthen the closeness between men and women. But in dating, it is not always smooth, but someone can experience breakups, fights, and so on. Therefore. This study examines the causes and resistance of anxiety in dating adolescents who experience a breakup or fight with their partners. This research was conducted in Pandan Indah Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency, using a qualitative approach or field research. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, documentation and observation, with the aim of knowing the causes and resistance of anxiety in dating adolescents in Pandan Indah Village, Praya Barat Daya District, Central Lombok Regency. The results and discussion in this study are. First, the phenomenon of the teenage dating culture in Pandan Indah Village which is still thick or fanatical with their dating culture, namely midang, where midang is the arrival of a man to his girlfriend's house which is only carried out at night with certain purposes such as strengthening his relationship, building solidarity or closeness. the families of both parties, then to discuss their future wedding day. Second, the causes of turmoil in dating relationships in Pandan Indah Village include dishonest couples, lack of communication and cheating partners. Third, the resistance of turmoil in dating relationships in Pandan Indah Village, namely such as calming down in the room, doing spirituality such as reciting and praying, and calming their gala feelings by listening to music.

ANALISIS PENANAMAN NILAI KARAKTER PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN JASMANI DI SD NEGERI GUGUS 8 KECAMATAN PRAYA BARAT

This study aims to describe how to instill character values ​​in physical education subjects at SD Negeri Gugus 8, Praya Barat District. The problems studied in this study are (1) what are the ways or steps in inculcating character values ​​in physical education subjects in elementary schools, (2) what are the things that affect the inculcation of character values ​​in physical education subjects. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques using interviews and documentation studies. While the data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model which consists of stages (1) data reduction (2) data presentation (3) data verification, and using triangulation methods as data validity. Based on the results of data analysis, the results of the study indicate that, (1) there are several ways or steps that can be taken in instilling character values ​​in physical education subjects, namely: (a) teachers improve their attitudes first (b) familiarize students with praying before and after learning; (c) familiarize students with rows; (d) maximizing each set of learning practices; (e) modification of game rules on learning materials; (f) reaffirming the character values ​​contained in the learning materials at the learning reflection stage; (g) coordinate with parents and guardians of students. (2) things that affect the inculcation of character values ​​in physical education subjects consist of: (a) inhibiting factors which include certain cultural traditions in society, limitations of tools and media, and student delinquency; (b) supporting factors, which include teachers, student readiness, learning methods and techniques, as well as the involvement of various parties.

Peningkatan Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Kimia Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Discovery Learning di SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat

This study aims to increase the activeness and learning outcomes of students' chemistry by applying the Discovery Learning learning model to electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions at SMA Negeri 1 Praya Barat. This research is a classroom action research which is conducted in two cycles. The research subjects were all students of class X-MIPA-1 for the academic year 2019/2020, totaling 31 students. In this study, student learning activities were obtained through observation while learning outcomes were obtained through formative tests. The results of this study indicate; 1) Students' chemistry learning activities increase by applying the Discovery Learning learning model to the electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material according to the two observations in Cycle I of writing and reading activities 50%, doing worksheets 20%, asking friends 10%, asking teachers 5%, and which are not relevant to teaching and learning activities 5% while according to the observations of Cycle II writing and reading activities are 21%, doing LKS 50%, asking friends 13%, asking teachers 16%, and those not relevant to teaching and learning activities 1%; 2) Students' chemistry learning outcomes increase by applying the Discovery Learning learning model to the electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution material in Formative I, showing 18 students completed individually, while the class was incomplete while in Cycle II, 28 students completed individually and the class completed with the average of cycle I and cycle II were 69 and 88 and the percentage of classical completeness was 58% in cycle I and 90% in cycle II.

Analisis Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis Tertulis dalam Menyelesaikan Masalah Matematika Ditinjau dari Gaya Kognitif Siswa Kelas VIII SMP

This study aims to analyze the written mathematical communication skills through the lence of cognitive style of the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Praya Barat Daya in the academic year 2020/2021. With the subjects of research used is 4 students of class VIII A which is taken were in the form of GEFT test results . This study is a descriptive study. The instrument used is test GEFT and written mathematical communication skills test. The findings of the study showed that (a) Students with field-independent cognitivestyle depictedproper written mathematical communication skill. Students at this level were able to state ideas or mathematical solutions in their own language clearly and precisely, they also were able to state problems in the form of pictures, and were able to write down mathematical ideas and explanations correctly but were still not optimal. (b) Students with a field-dependent cognitive style had good mathematical communication ability. Students at this level were able to state ideas or mathematical solutions in their own language properlyyet are still incomplete, they were still not optimal in addressing problems in the form of images, and lastly, they werealso able to write mathematical ideas and explanations clearly and accurately.

Manajemen POAC pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Kasus BDR di SMP Negeri 2 Praya Barat Daya)

This study aimed to describe the implementation of learning from home (LFH) during the Covid-19 pandemic seen from the POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) management theory. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. The research was conducted at SMP Negeri 2 Praya Barat Daya, Central Lombok Regency, NTB. The research subjects involved the principal of the school, while the informants were teachers and students who were selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews and documentation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the principal implemented management functions in accordance with the POAC theory in the implementation of LFH, namely: 1) planning, which was identifying data of students having gadgets followed by designing online and offline LFH preparations; 2) organizing, which was dividing students into two study groups, namely the online group and the offline group; 3) actuating, which was introducing facilities and infrastructure used in online and offline learning, followed by its implementation of LFH; and 4) controlling, which was implementing the evaluation of the LFH program at the school level carried out at the end of the 2019/2020 school year.

Application of nano-silicon foliar fertilizer to double dry season soybean productivity of Central Lombok rainfed lowland

Soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr) is the rotation crop that dominantly grown after rice during dry season in most lowland paddy field of Eastern Indonesia. This on-farm experiment aimed to improve dry season soybean production by spraying liquid fertilizer containing silicon. Burangrang soybean variety grown from August to October 2018 at Tenandon of Penujak Village, Praya Barat sub-district of Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Five treatments were arranged on randomized block design with five replications on 100 m2 plot size. The treatments were application of silicon-based liquid fertilizer named T1 (O**n or ON), T2 (Bio**x or BX), T3 (BioS****a or BS), T4 (BioU**n or BU) that compare to T0 (control) which was without any foliar spray. Land preparation, planting, irrigation, and harvest were guided using integrated soybean management handbook. Yield and yield component data was collected at harvest. The result showed that application of liquid fertilizer was significantly increase total dry matter weight, including percentage dry matter accumulation on leaf, pods weight, and percentage of filled pods. Soybean productivity was improved about 102.06% (T3), 95.88% (T4), 61.86% (T1), dan 47.42% (T2) when compared to T0 at 0.9 t/ha.

SASAK LANGUAGE DEIXIS ON MERIAQ-MERIKU DIALECT IN PENUJAK SOCIETY

Deixis is defined as a demonstrative pronoun that is used to designate a person, place, and time. The use of deixis is commonly found in the Sasak language of the meriaq-meriku dialect in the community of Penujak village in greetings. This research aims to describe the deixis of the Sasak language of meriaq-meriku dialect in the community of Penujak village. The data of this research are speech descriptions that have been transcribed in the form of speech by speakers and interlocutors. The data were obtained from the community that owns and uses the Sasak language of the meriaq-meriqu dialect, namely Penujak village, Praya Barat sub-district, Central Lombok District. The data were collected using the technique of engaging and speaking without observing (simak bebas libat cakap) . To ensure the validity of the research data, triangulation was administered as a comparison of the data with the theory used. The data were analyzed using a separate method in the form of elements of language as the object of research objectives. The deixis found in the community of Penujak village are: personal deixis in the form of; ə ku 'I' , tiang 'I' , itə 'we', ləpʊ?tə 'we all/together', kəmu 'you', sidə 'you', and nijə/ijə 'dia'; place deixis in the form of: ija?/nija?/nini 'this/ here', tə 'there', tuː 'there (far)', and taoh 'there'; and time deixis in the form of: nani ‘now’, bərʊ? ‘just now’, lawʊn ‘later’, ɔne? ‘just’, lɜma? ‘tomorrow’, uwɪ? 'yesterday', sənawah 'three days from now', laɜ? 'first (related to time) ', and ɜra? 'next day (indefinite time) '. The finding of deixis in the meriaq-meriku dialect is a form of identification of the use of the regional language of the Sasak community in Lombok.
