Population growth that is not matched by the availability of job vacancies can cause the unemployment rate to increase. Therefore efforts are needed to reduce the number of unemployed through training activities. Training activities are carried out to equip youth with skills and knowledge. One of the knowledge and skills that can be given to youth is welding skills. Tamansari Village, which is located in Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency, has the potential of human resources. Therefore, efforts are needed to equip young people in Tamansari village with skills and knowledge, one of which is welding skills. The results of the community service activities that have been carried out were followed enthusiastically by the participants. Participants can understand the theory that has been presented and followed by welding skills using the SMAW welding method.

Pengaruh Disiplin Kerja, Keselamatan Kerja, dan Kesehatan Kerja Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Karyawan di UD Mugi Lestari Papar

Human resource management is an important aspect in the business world, in a company the potential of human resources will determine the direction in achieving a goal set by the company. This study explains the effect of work discipline, occupational safety and occupational health on the work productivity of UD Mugi Lestari Papar employees. The number of samples taken in this study was 33 employees. In this study, it was found that work discipline had a partial and significant effect on employee work productivity, work safety had a partial and significant effect on employee work productivity and occupational health had a partial and significant effect on employee work productivity. Furthermore, work discipline, occupational safety and occupational health have a silmutant and significant effect on employee work productivity.

FOREIGN STUDENTS IN VOCATIONAL EDUCATION – A CHANCE FOR THE LABOUR MARKET OF THE POZNAŃ AGGLOMERATION

The labour market of the Poznań agglomeration is characterised by the lowest unemployment rate in Poland, as well as large and varied employer demands, which can be met only to a limited extent by the local workforce. The potential human resources, which for the Poznań agglomeration's employers may be foreign students attending technical and first-degree technical and industry schools, have been characterised on the basis of the conducted desk research and analysis of the empirical data derived from the own research of the Observatory of Economy and Labour Market of the Poznań Agglomeration. The article's aim was to answer two questions: 1) ‘to what extent is vocational education able to prepare foreign students to enter the Polish labour market?' and 2) ‘to what extent do the resources of foreign students meet the needs of local employers?'. The analysis shows that migrant students as participants of Polish vocational education have a chance to effectively adapt to the labour market and to use their competency resources in long-term perspective. It requires a variety of actions to be taken with experts' participation, including in the field of cultural and language education, career counselling, recognition of preferences and predispositions, training of hard and soft skills.

Based on data from the West Sumatra energy and mineral resources service, it is stated that Limapuluh Kota Regency has the potential for rocks (andesite, granite, limestone, marble) and metallic minerals (gold and lead). This huge natural potential requires good management so that it can develop and requires potential human resources as well. This is the background for socializing opportunities and potential job opportunities in Limapuluh Kota Regency. The socialization explains what potential mining resources exist in Limapuluh Kota Regency along with the job opportunities that exist in managing these resources. The target of this socialization is to open the minds of high school students in terms of the natural potential that their region has and to open up the students' insight in choosing the science they will study in college, so that as sons/daughters of the region they can contribute to the management and development of their region.

Economic problems and the welfare of the community are quite high, encouraging the government to continue to explore the potential of natural resources and human resources owned by a region, then develop it to support the economy and welfare of the community, one of which is in the field of tourism. For tourists and the community to know and be able to enjoy a tourist attraction, it is necessary to make efforts to manage tourist attractions. The focus of the study in this research is focused on the preposition: 1) The implementation of local government policies related to tourism must be supported by community empowerment in the development of micro-enterprises so that it will have an impact on improving the local economy; 2) Sustainable empowerment will be able to reduce the level of structural unemployment; 3) The higher the community participation in managing tourism objects, the more positive socio-economic changes will occur in the community. Sports Human Resources Development (Human Resources Management Survey in Petanque Sport Branch, Surakarta City)

The existence of sports human resources in the petanque sport in Surakarta City, competency development in various ways is needed so that human resources in petanque sports in Surakarta City can be competent in completing their main tasks and functions. The aims of this study were to: (1) Know and describe the flow and process of sports human resource management in the petanque sport in the city of Surakarta. (2) Knowing and describing the potential of sports human resources in the petanque sport in Surakarta City. In this study the method used is descriptive qualitative with an inductive approach. The sample used. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, questionnaires and document collection. Data analysis used interactive analysis includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The findings from the research conducted included: (1) The sports human resource management process carried out by Petanque Surakarta City has fulfilled the provisions of the running of the organization, namely processes in the form of planning, organizing, directing and supervising. (2) The potential of Human Resources for the Petanque Sport in Surakarta City in general has not been optimally developed. This can be seen from the results of the data obtained from several indicators, namely the number of Sports Human Resources, qualifications, involvement in activities, achievements and welfare of the Surakarta City Petanque

Revitalization of the Traditional Archery Sport Art of Jemparingan through the Unisma House of Culture and Civilization Program

Students and university students are potential human resources for the future of the nation that must be processed seriously as assets that must be maintained, educated, and developed. The current era of disruption has challenges in the form of a large flow of globalization with accelerated technology and information, students and college students need to increasingly have the power of focus, peace of mind, and mental toughness to achieve high achievement and noble character. One of the efforts that can be made to achieve these competencies is through the practice of traditional archery sport Jemparingan. In addition, the younger generation also strives to preserve the culture of the archipelago. In the current era of globalization, Jemparingan traditional archery has been neglected by the people who own it. Through the Jemparingan Traditional Archery Sport Art Training program in the House of Culture and Civilization of Unisma, the implementation team wants to introduce the local wisdom of the archipelago to the younger generation. This training applies a service learning method that is in accordance with the consideration of field conditions and needs.

Experiences and perceptions of undergraduate optometry students towards public eye care services in South Africa

Background: Public eye care services in South Africa are relatively underdeveloped. This is, in part, due to optometry services historically being private sector-focussed, as well as a lack of ophthalmologists in the country. Optometry students who engage in service learning at public health facilities are well placed to share their perceptions of this service.Aim: To investigate the perceptions and experiences of optometry students regarding public eye care services in South Africa.Setting: Data were collected on the Phelophepa Health Care Train while it was stationed at Musina and Polokwane in 2019.Methods: A qualitative study was conducted using focus group interviews to collect data from South African optometry students. Two focus group sessions were held, with a total sample of 18 representing two different higher education institutions. Interview recordings were transcribed, and data were thematically analysed using interpretive content analysis.Results: Three main themes emerged, namely ‘inability to deliver quality services’, ‘negative perceptions about public eye care services’ and ‘potential to improve public eye care services’. Strengthening infrastructure and human resource capacity were seen as fundamental steps to improving public eye care services in South Africa.Conclusion: Strengthening public eye care services in South Africa is necessary in order to improve the experience-based perceptions of optometry students towards this sector. Addressing eye health system weaknesses through appropriate resourcing will likely contribute to attracting this potential future human resource to the sector, and assist in alleviating the shortage of human resources for eye health within South Africa’s public health service.Contribution: Optometry education and professional practice in South Africa is increasingly adopting a more public health approach. This shift towards strengthening public eye care services and improving human resources capacity for the same is both important and necessary to address unmet eye health needs in the country. However, current gaps and challenges within the public health system may deter new graduates in South Africa from choosing this practice path if the overall challenges of resourcing and capacity to deliver quality services are not addressed.

The Impacts of Performance Appraisal on Employee’s Job Satisfaction and Organizational Behavior

The implementation of performance appraisal is widespread, and it is a significant tool by which organizations can maximize the potential of human resources. The purpose of this study is to investigate how performance appraisal affect employee’s job satisfaction and organizational behavior. The methodology used for this research is a qualitative-library research, entailing the data collections and analyses from published resources such as books, journals, and internet databases. Based on the results, it was found that the experience of a positive performance appraisal raises not only workers’ sense of accomplishment but also self-worth and fosters the trust in the legitimacy process. Furthermore, appraisal assists employee retention by highlighting the company's dedication to address their requirements and support the development. In order to increase job satisfaction and organizational behavior, the study emphasizes the values of giving feedback to employees, defining goals, encouraging employee involvement, and carrying out efficient performance appraisal.

Special gifted children whose potential is optimized and properly stimulated can become one of the quality human resources owned by the country, compared to children who do not get proper stimulation. Stimulation is a variety of stimuli, such as play opportunities, learning facilities, or materials (eg stories or reading), that can trigger a child to learn or process teaching. Optimal is the highest condition in which it is possible for someone or something to do without destroying the elements that are in place. Potential are specific things that exist in children, which appear more when compared to children of their age. Interest is a strong urge for someone to do everything he wants. Whereas talent is a basic trait, intelligence and innate nature that is innate. Talent itself can be interpreted as a person's basic ability to learn in a relatively short time compared to other people, but the results are even better. In short, this is a potential possessed by a person as innate. The aim of the research is to optimize the potential, interests and talents of the children in Lalalang Village for the advancement of potential human resources in the future, namely to find out and make solutions so that the children of Lalalang Village get a direction and a place to shape their character so that they are able to understand what potential they have and are very important for the future. This research contains the reasons and the process of optimizing the potential, interests and talents of the children in Lalang Village.

Pengaruh Tingkat Intelegensi Dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Belajar PAI Di MAN 1 Kota Sukabumi

Education is basically a conscious effort to grow and develop the potential of human resources (HR), especially for students by providing encouragement and providing good facilities through learning activities. In addition, each individual must have the ability and willingness to learn so that the learning objectives can be achieved. The achievement of each individual from each learning process is called learning achievement. As for one of the supporting factors that are dominant in influencing learning achievement is the intelligence of each individual student. The purpose of this study is to find out how much influence the level of intelligence has on learning achievement, especially in the field of Islamic religious education (PAI) at MAN 1 Sukabumi City. The research method used is survey method with correlational analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis performed, it was found that intelligence has a significant effect on learning achievement. This is evidenced by the t count of 7.811 with a significance level of 0.01 and 0.05. Based on the data analysis test, it was also found that F was 61.011 with a significance value of 0.01 (p <0.05). This shows that intelligence has a significant influence on student achievement. Apart from the F value, an R square value of 0.592 is also obtained, which means that 59.2% of student achievement in PAI is influenced by the level of intelligence, while the remaining 40.8% is influenced by other factors such as motivation or learning environment. Then the results of the research conducted can be concluded that the level of intelligence has a significant effect on student achievement in PAI either partially or simultaneously. The other supporting factors are motivation, socioeconomic, class climate or learning methods which support student achievement, especially in Islamic Religious Education.

Strategi Pengembangan Wisata Edukasi Hutan Obat Mbambingan Gunung Kelud Kabupaten Kediri

This study aims to analyze internal and external factors and formulate alternative development strategies that are appropriate for Mbambingan Mount Kelud Drug Education Tourism. The type of research used in this study is qualitative and quantitative. The sample in this study were 30 tourist visitors (accidental sampling) and 5 tourism management people (purposive sampling). Data analysis used is SWOT analysis and QSPM analysis. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Mbambingan Mountain Kelud Drug Education Tourism Forest has 5 main focuses of the program namely education, conservation, herbal preservation, community empowerment, and improvement of public health. Internal factors include human resources, marketing, production, finance, research and development and information systems with a total IFE score of 4.19. External factors include the economy, society, technology, competitors and disasters with a total EFE score of 4.36. the most preferred alternative strategy with the highest TAS value of 6.652, namely Cooperation between government agencies and similar companies in tourism-promoting activities, then in second place with a value of 6.554, which is more developing natural potential and managerial human resources, and in third place with value amounting to 6,208 namely by performing maintenance and repairing infrastructure to achieve satisfaction in service.

Potential Sectors That Can Help Increase Local Revenue in Mahakam Ulu

This study aims to find sectors that can contribute to the increase in Local Original Income (PAD) of Mahakam Ulu Regency. Mahakam Ulu Regency has the potential of natural and human resources that can be utilized to encourage regional economic growth. Therefore, this study was conducted to understand the sectors contributing to PAD. The research method used involves analyzing the economic data of Mahakam Ulu Regency, identifying potential resources, and mapping the sectors' potential using tools such as LQ analysis, Klassen typology analysis, and Shift Share analysis. The results showed that several potential sectors affect the increase in PAD in Mahakam Ulu Regency: agriculture, forestry, fisheries, warehousing, and transportation. To improve PAD, it is necessary to carry out a development plan that includes development strategies for potential sectors, supporting policies, and implementation steps.

Applied geology – basic training program for mining and geological industry personnel

The development of the human resources potential of the mining and geological industry in Russia is largely a task of the state and its institutions. The shortage of qualified personnel in the field of geological study of the subsurface, as well as the gap in the “education – science – production” system are indicated among other things in the list of challenges and threats to the development of the mineral resource base of the Russian Federation in the new Strategy of Development of the Mineral Resource Base of the Russian Federation until 2035. This strategy was developed and adopted by Order of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 2914 of 22.12.2018 (hereinafter – Strategy). Obviously, the solution of the tasks aimed at developing the geological industry of Russia and reproduction of the mineral resource base, formulated in the Strategy, will be provided mainly by the geological knowledge and skills formed in the scientific and practical activities of the new generation of geologists. The current modernization of geological education in the absence of professional standards is aimed at combining the competences of university graduates and qualifications of representatives of the profession of geologists, geophysicists, geochemists, hydrogeologists and geological prospectors. Interaction of universities with mining and geological companies in terms of improving educational standards and training programs is especially important in the conditions of the development and large-scale implementation of new technologies for mineral resources study at all stages of the geological exploration process. Reproduction of the personnel potential of the exploration industry should certainly be under the close attention of the state and under its direct management, as it will largely determine the mineral resources sovereignty of the country.

QUICK RESPONSE CODE (QR CODE) ASSISTANCE IN REALIZING THE DIGITALIZATION OF PUBLIC SERVICES AT THE RELIGIOUS AFFAIRS OFFICE OF THE PELAYANGAN SUB-DISTRICT OF JAMBI CITY

This article is the result of Community Service (PkM) at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) Pelayangan District, Jambi City. KUA Pelayangan as one of the public service agencies must be able to provide public servants, especially digital public services, which at this time have become a necessity for people in the digital era. One alternative form of service digitization is by applying the Quick Responses Code (QR Code). The PkM team provided assistance to Pelayangan KUA employees to utilize the QR Code in serving the community. By using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method which has the principle that everything leads to the context of understanding and internalizing assets, potential, strength and utilization independently and maximally. The process of implementing this service activity is carried out by observation, socialization, discussion, mentoring, monitoring and evaluation. The results of this PkM program assistance show that KUA employees, as potential human resources, are able to adapt well to understand and even apply the QR Code in services. Not only the KUA, the community also gave a positive response to the use of QR Code in the current digital era.

Stakeholder Engagement and Determination of Priority Strategies in Quality Improvement in Higher Education

Stakeholder management is vital to the project's success because the strategies, plans, methods and processes for stakeholders determine the success of implementing sustainable construction. This study aims to analyze the quality improvement of tertiary institutions in optimizing stakeholder involvement and determining quality improvement priority strategies. The research method used is qualitative, with the NVivo 12 application analysis. This research was conducted at the Pacific University (UNIPAS) Morotai. The study results show that through stakeholder involvement, Pacific University Morotai is committed to developing the potential of Morotai's human resources for the development and progress of the Morotai Island Regency area. As well as the proposed quality improvement priority strategy is also inseparable from the proposed derivative strategy in quality improvement within the Pacific University of Morotai itself. This derivative strategy can be effective, assuming the priority strategy can be implemented effectively.

Opportunities and challenges in preserving intellectual and human capital: strategies for readiness in a complex socio-economic context

The study aims to develop measures to reduce the outflow (migration) of young people and improve human capital in the face of global complex socio-economic landscape. The paper determines strategic priorities for state regulation of youth migration processes. It is concluded that instruments for regulating youth migration and preserving intellectual and human resource potential should be directed toward reducing the level of positive migration aspirations among student and apprentice youth, ensuring employment and effective remuneration of labor. The system of preventive public policy instruments for managing youth migration includes efforts to increase employment, develop the micro and small business sector, raise the level of readiness of migrant youth to re-emigrate, enhance the competitiveness of the educational sector, and create international projects to develop human capital. Additionally, the study advocates for improving the competitiveness of the educational sector and fostering international projects that contribute to human capital development.

People are becoming familiar with home industries that sell creative ideas to generate income. Entrepreneurship is essentially the nature, characteristics, and character of a person who has the will to creatively realize innovative ideas in the real world. Villages have the potential that can be developed into tourist villages, namely natural potential, human resource potential, and cultural potential. In this millennial era, young people are required to think creatively and innovatively. Creative economic development towards a tourist village for youth at MA Ishlahil Athfal Rumak, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency which begins with starting a business as an entrepreneur will encourage the acceleration of community economic growth in Rumak Village, Kediri District, West Lombok Regency. The conclusion obtained from this community service activity is that the creative economic development of youth at MA Ishlahil Athfal Rumak, Kediri District in building a tourist village after the implementation of community service activities is the formation of a change in the mindset of young people to pioneer a business which will later provide tourism village development for Rumak Village in Kediri District. Suggestions that can be given for the development of a creative economy for a tourist village are to build types of businesses such as souvenirs, handicrafts, and art.

Coffee is one of the main plantation commodities in Indonesia which is one of the plantations that boosts the country's economy. Bali is one of the provinces that has quite extensive coffee plantations with an annual income of up to 15.5 thousand tons. Coffee Agrotourism is an educational tourism activity that utilizes coffee plantations as a tourist attraction. The utilization of this business in the plantation sector includes processing coffee from the plantations of local residents so that it becomes a product with national and even international selling value, in other words the products produced can not only be enjoyed by the domestic community, but also can be enjoyed by the outside community. Not only processed products are presented, but also experience, understanding, and knowledge about coffee or coffee plantations is also presented as a means of education. Coffee agrotourism is developed by utilizing the potential of both natural resources and human resources.
