Reconceptualising postgraduate taught student experience through the lens of emotions and well-being: Moving from explanatory methodology to revelatory

This study introduces a methodological approach for exploring taught postgraduate (PGT) student experience as a relationship with emotion and wellbeing. We examine the anatomy of PGT student emotions at one UK university and explore their functional and consequential role in student experience. Findings suggest PGT student experience is defined by a complex array of emotions that interact closely with appraisal, motivation, and behaviour. They have deleterious or beneficial impact on core dimensions of learning and wellbeing including engagement, cognitive flexibility, and social connectedness. Our methodological approach provides an avenue for exploring this complexity through a multi-level and revelatory examination of emotions, from which it is possible to develop proactive approaches to student wellbeing through improved emotion awareness, competencies, and control.

Tooth substance loss after incisal endodontic access and novel single-tooth template-guided endodontic access in three-dimensional printed resin incisors with simulated pulp canal calcification: A comparative in vitro study.

Guided endodontics has various applications, one of which is for calcified canal negotiation. Recently, a new single-tooth template has been fabricated to overcome the drawbacks of bulky guides, which are difficult to use with rubber dam isolation. This study aimed to assess the efficacy of the novel single-tooth template for negotiation of pulp canal calcification (PCC) in three-dimensional (3D)-printed resin incisors by comparing substance loss and time taken between incisal endodontic access (IEA) and single-tooth template-guided endodontic access (SGEA). Forty-two resin incisor teeth having patent canal in the apical third were used (N = 21/group). They were subcategorized based on operator's experience into senior endodontist (SE), postgraduate (PG), and undergraduate (UG) (n = 7/operator). Canals were negotiated conventionally for IEA and using the single-tooth template for SGEA. Substance loss was calculated from the volume difference between pre- and postoperative cone-beam computed tomography scans. The time taken was also recorded. Statistical analysis was performed using unpaired t-test and one-way analysis of variance test. Canals were successfully negotiated in 100% and 95% of teeth in the SGEA and IEA groups, respectively. Overall substance loss and time taken were significantly lesser for SGEA for all operators (P < 0.001). In the IEA group, post hoc test showed statistical significance between SE and UG for substance loss (P < 0.05) and SE-UG and PG-UG for time taken (P < 0.05). No significant difference among operators was noted for both parameters in SGEA. SGEA resulted in significantly lesser substance loss and time taken for canal negotiation in 3D-printed resin incisors with simulated PCC. This was independent of the experience levels of the operator.

A cross-sectional study evaluating the knowledge, attitude, and practice of evidence-based medicine among resident doctors of a health-care Institution of National Importance in India.

Evidence-based medicine (EBM) promotes the integration of updated- best evidence with patient preferences and medical expertise for clinical decision-making. Despite the availability of high-quality evidence such as systematic review and meta-analysis, some clinicians manage their patients based on past experiences and expert opinion. Thus, this study was proposed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and practice of EBM among resident doctors at a tertiary care hospital in India. This cross-sectional questionnaire-based study was conducted among senior residents and final-year postgraduates (PGs) who were independently involved in clinical decision-making. By convenience sampling method, the participants were recruited, and the validated EBM Questionnaire (EBMQ) was distributed online for assessing the knowledge, attitude, and practice of EBM. Descriptive statistics were represented as frequency and proportions. A total of 102 resident doctors participated with male preponderance (74.5%). Nearly, 96 (94.1%) participants were already practicing EBM and 21.6% had undergone EBM training. Textbooks (50%) were the most often referred sources for EBM information. Specific EBM databases such as MEDLINE and Cochrane were also utilized by 37.3% of participants. More than 70% of participants understood the terms such as a randomized controlled trial, case-control study, and P value. A higher proportion (80.4%) of participants showed a positive attitude about patient care improved by EBM. The majority of the resident doctors exhibited good knowledge and a positive attitude toward applying EBM in clinical decision-making. Periodic training through workshops or courses and integration of EBM with the PG curriculum would potentially enhance the EBM practice.

Study of Self Esteem and Factors Associated among Medical Students of a Private Medical College of Karnataka: A Cross Sectional Study

Background: Self-esteem refers to a person’s overall sense of his worth or value. It is how much a person “values, approves of, appreciates, prizes, or likes him or herself. ”Medical Education is quite demanding in terms long duration, lack of time, vastness. Medical students experience various forms of stress due to financial, and social pressures which could affect their levels of self-esteem. Objectives: 1. To assess the level self-esteem among medical students of a private medical college in South India using Rosenberg Self-esteem scale. 2. To find out the factors associated with the levels of self-esteem among medical students of a private medical college in South India.Materials and Methods: This is a cross-sectional observational study. UG and PG students of the college were participants. The pre structured questionnaire was used to collect the socio demographic details and Rosenberg Self-esteem scale (RSES) was used to assess the self-esteem among the medical graduate and post graduate students. Descriptive and inferential statistical analysis has been carried out in the present study. Results were presented as percentages for categorical data. Significance is assessed at 5% level of significance. Chi-square test has been used to find the significance of study. Results: In the study 72 (20.86%) had low self-esteem, 258(74.78%) scored between (16-25) that shows normal self-esteem and only 16 (4.63%) scored &gt;25 indicating high self-esteem. Conclusion: This study found that the majority of medical students had normal self-esteem The factors such as sex of the student, age, marital status, type of course, socio economic status class were found to be significantly associated with the levels of self-esteem. Other factors like place of residence, religion was found to be insignificant

Use of Boolean search strategy for accessing the databases of university of technology libraries by postgraduate students in South-East, Nigeria

Library databases provide accurate and current information resources that enhances and promote the research output of postgraduate students in Nigeria universities. The databases contain millions of electronic information resources, that required a good information search like Boolean search strategy for easy retrieval. This study focused on the use of Boolean search strategy for accessing the databases of university of technology libraries by postgraduate students in south-east, Nigeria. The purpose of the study is to identify the types of library databases available in the university of technology South East and to determine the extent of utilization of these library databases using Boolean search strategy. The researcher adopted descriptive survey design. The population for the study was 540 post graduate students in the faculties of engineering while the sample used was 230 from both universities. Structured questionnaire and observation checklist was the instrument used for data collection. The instrument was administered to the respondent directly by the researcher. The data collected was analysed using mean and standard deviation. Based on the analysis, it was found that a good number of library databases are available in both federal (Federal University of Technology, Owerri) and state (Enugu State University of Science and Technology, Agbani) universities of technology. The findings showed that the students utilized Boolean search to a moderate extent in accessing most of the databases. It was recommended that the library management should sensitize the postgraduate students by creating further awareness through training, provision of adequate network facilities and to encourage postgraduate students to improve on their research skill individually in order to utilized the available library databases.

Green Parapets Analysis and Environment of Port Harcourt Nigeria

The prostration of policy makersfor the compulsory inclusion and retaining of greens in neighbourhoods and urban hemisphere generallydeclines the mitigation ofdissimilar environmental calamities. This paper x-rayed urban green parapets and environmental appearance of Port Harcourt Nigeria through the adoption of inferential and non-inferential survey strategies. The primary data was acquired through5 likertpoints designed questionnaire that sampled 350 households while circulated materials acquired within the secondary research circumference emanated from text-books, undergraduate and post graduate research work, conference/seminar, working papers, official records and other academic reports. The analysis employed mean value (MV), spearman’s correlation coefficient and chi-square (x2) statistics test at 0.05 significant points. The finding shown thatmean score of (25.22) significant value for the low income,(29.21) medium income resident and high income population with a mean value of (24.22) for thevariation of green properties among residents of Port Harcourt.The result further reserved that urban greens,reductions of flood and improvement of environmental potentials had a strong relationship at (x2 = 499.87&gt; 0.005) and there was a positive relationship between environmental greening and education attainment at (r=-.285), weak relationship exist between greening and human population (r= - .053),occupational prestige and urban greening (r-.043). The work recommended thatphysical planning efforts are required for the provision and protection of green infrastructure through constituted taskforce on green infrastructure, civil defence and neighbourhood vigilantes or guard. The provision of such social security personnel will protect and improve urban and peri greens and areas perceived green infrastructure insecure will reduce and thus declining environmental calamities associated with alteration and non-inclusion of greens in urban development.

Attitude of post graduate students towards online education

The current study attempted to determine the attitude of postgraduate students in the Paschim Bardhaman District of West Bengal, India, towards online education. The survey method was employed, and a total of 155 postgraduate students from Kazi Nazrul University, West Bengal, were taken as representative samples of the population as a whole. The selection of postgraduate students was done using a simple random sampling technique. An attitude scale was utilized for gathering the data. Percentage, mean, SD, t-test, and ANOVA were used to analyze the data. According to the report, postgraduate students in West Bengal's Paschim Bardhaman District have an average attitude towards online education. Additionally the study revealed that the attitude of postgraduate students towards online education did not differ significantly based on their gender, locality, semester, caste, and streams.

Assessment of Determinants of Sleep Deprivation amongst Post Graduate Students of Government Medical College, Amritsar

Background: Sleep is an active, repetitive and reversible state of perceptual disengagement from the environment.A chronic lack or poor quality sleep increases the risk ofvarious disorders.Post graduate students is at the top ofthe list of sleep deprived individuals.Material and methods: A cross sectional study was conducted amongst the post graduate students of GovernmentMedical College, Amritsar. All the post graduate students admitted to various pre, para and clinical departmentsduring the years 2018, 2019 and 2020 formulated the sample size for this study.Semi structured proformae weredeveloped for data collection. Chi-square test was applied, where p-value of &lt;0.05 (on both sides) was consideredto be statistically significantResults: According to PSQI poor sleep quality was among 178(58%) post graduate students , excessive daytimesleepiness according to ESS was among 120(40%) post graduate students and sleep hours &lt;7 hrs were among 182(66%) post graduate students. After compiling results of all three, 223(72%) post graduate students were foundto be sleep deprived. Association of sleep deprivation with sleep hygiene and night duties was found to bestatistically significant.Conclusion: Increased amount of workload on the residents and more number of night duties affect the sleep ofthe post graduate students and majority of them feel exhausted and fatigued after their night duties

Sustainable habits among post graduate students in West Bengal: An exploration of categorical variables

This enchanting study sets out to discover the current state of Sustainable Habits among the post graduate students of West Bengal. Using the power of statistical analysis, the aim is to delve into the differences of Sustainable Habits based on gender, domicile status, family type, environmental education, economic status and NSS certificate of the students. With the help of a descriptive survey method, an online survey was conducted among 132 post graduate students of West Bengal state. The data was then analysed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. The findings of this delightful study reveal that the mean score of Sustainable Habits among all students is delightfully above moderate (174&lt;212.5378788&lt;232). In addition, the results showcase that there are no significant differences (t&lt;Critical Value) of Sustainable habits with reference to all categorical variables. Overall, this study is a charming example of the importance of Sustainable Habits, and highlights the wonderful potential of post graduate students in West Bengal to embrace and incorporate them into their lives.

Medical teacher in Tamil Nadu government sector: A role model for youngsters in India

Introduction: Government hospitals in India generally have a negative opinion among pubic due to lack of sanitation and facilities but in Institute of orthopaedics and traumatology, Coimbatore government medical college hospital headed by Prof. Dr. S. Vetrivel Cherian is having facilities and patient care in par with corporate hospitals. Aim of the article is to teach and inspire young doctors about the methods and innovations adopted by him for the welfare of patients.Materials and Methods: As a retrospective study from 2000–2022, the efforts of Dr. S. Vetrivel Chezian in the public sector and how he expanded the orthopaedic medical services at Coimbatore Medical College are covered in detail.Discussion: He revolutionized trauma care services by leg bone surgery fracture fixation within 6 hours of admission even during covid 19 pandemic. He established modern lightweight artificial limb centre during covid-19 pandemic for the welfare of differently abled people without direct expenditure to the government under AB PMJAY thus making Coimbatore the first district in India with no waiting list for artificial limbs. He improved new born and children care by prevention and surgical correction of foot deformities (Clubfoot) every Thursday even during covid-19 pandemic and established ward for no attender destitute patients for the first time in India. He upgraded department of orthopaedics to Institute of orthopaedics and traumatology and improved patient care by providing various amenities. He also had passion for teaching which enabled him to publish books and encouraging post graduates by giving medals.Conclusion: Various initiatives taken by Prof. Dr. S. Vetrivel Chezian not only improved the patient care but also changed the perception about government hospitals among public and also his actions serve as a role model for young doctors.

Reviving medical education through teachers training programs: A literature review.

The art of teaching in undergraduate and post graduate medical curriculum was revised in last century with targeted programs to equip the medical faculty with advanced teaching technologies. Medical education units (MEUs) were established by the medical council to train the existing medical faculty of the country in teaching methodologies. This study aimed to evaluate the MEU's impact on teachers' training and compare the status of trained teachers before and after the MEU era. Published literature and statistics on the MCI website were compiled to compare teachers' training status over time empirically. MEU, R.C., and N.C. have been highly efficient in improving the proportion of teachers trained from 5.38 to 50.32% across the country, especially after the upgradation of MEU in 2009. Proportion of the teachers trained increased from 5.38% to 50.32% due to the programs organized by various MEU, regional and nodal centres, especially after the upgradation of MEU in 2009. Lack of trained resource persons and administrative support were the common challenges faced. Properly organized MEU and planned activities should be emphasized in every institute. for effective development of the faculties.

Influence of Perceived Organizational Politics in Promotion Process on Lecturers’ Job Performance at Public Universities in Kenya: A Case of The University of Nairobi

University education has remained a single higher institution that countries rely on for the preparation and skill development reservoir of highly skilled labour force that is much needed to spur economic development through research, teaching and innovation. Universities therefore across the world act as bases of knowledge and hubs for research, information, and expertise productions in all the fields. This requires the performance of qualified and committed academic staff actualize this role. However, the performance of this significant cadre at public universities for instance, is affected by many other factors including organizational politics. The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of perceived organizational politics in promotion process on lecturers’ job performance at public universities in Kenya, a case of the University of Nairobi. The study was guided by two objectives: to examine the influence of nepotism in the process of lecturers’ promotion and to determine the influence of perceived ethnicity on lecturers’ job performance at the University of Nairobi. Sampling techniques used to sample 11 deans of faculties, 19 chairs of the departments and 100 lecturers and 100 post graduate students were purposive and stratified proportionate sampling and simple random sampling techniques. The main instruments utilized to gather data from respondents for this study were interview guide, open and closed-ended questionnaire, document analysis and focus group discussion. The data was analyzed using both qualitative and quantitative techniques. The study established that although there were equal promotion opportunities for both men and female academic staff, the promotion process of the academic staff was perceived to be unfair because it lacked transparency and that patronage and ethnic politics existed. This was perceived to have negative influence on performance. The study concluded that perception of organizational politics in promotion process had negative influence on lecturers’ job performance at public universities in Kenya. The study recommends that higher education institutions should ensure fairness and transparency in the promotion process of staff in order to enhance effective lecturers’ performance. It is also recommended that a similar study should be carried out in private universities with different management systems to compare the findings since this study focused on public universities.

Knowledge, Attitude and Perceived barrier towards Medical Research among Undergraduates and Postgraduates Medical Students of Nepalgunj Medical College

Introduction: Medical science is one of the most advance and modern technology over the course of time period with extensive research and scientific knowledge of human body and health care to make incredible changes enabling the population remain healthy with mere absence of disease or infirmity. Research is considered as one of the useful measures to track the scientific advancement of a country. Promoting research skills in undergraduate and post graduate medical students help to develop scientific advancement in medical field of a country.&#x0D; Aims: To assess knowledge, attitude, and perceived barriers among undergraduate and postgraduate medical students.&#x0D; Methods: An institutional based cross sectional analytical study covering total 224 undergraduate and postgraduate medical students of Nepalgunj Medical College was from January 2022 to April 2022. A pre tested, pre designed, sets of questionnaire were provided to all recruited participants after obtaining informed written consent. Then informations generated by the study were analyzed for scientific result by using descriptive analysis and independent T- test.&#x0D; Results: Male students were 135(60.3%) whereas female students were 89(39.7%) only. The mean knowledge score was 33.69 ± 3.8 and mean attitude score was 19.67 ± 2.34. The average 100(44.6%) had good knowledge and 118(52.7%) had positive attitude towards medical research. Most common perceived barrier was not having proper mentoring and research familiarity. Seventy Six(39.6%) undergraduate students had behavioral hesitation to participate in research while 21(65.6%) post graduate students showed social factor as one of the hesitancy to involve in research.&#x0D; Conclusion: Most of the participants had good knowledge regarding research and expressed positive attitude toward involvement in research activity. Some of barriers were lack of funds, awareness and research skills. This study would improve scientific knowledge and research skills for academicians and clinicians too.

Academic Staff Strengths of Postgraduate Training Programs in Pharmacology in the USA Pre- and during Covid-19 Pandemic - A Cue for Capacity Building in Pharmacological and other Programs in Nigerian Universities.

Structure and function go hand in hand for program success. For the training of pharmacologists, this is also true. A component of structure is academic staff strength. We wanted to know the total academic staff strength of programs and departments in American universities that run training programs in pharmacology at post graduate level in order to inform development in Nigerian and other African academia. Through departmental and program webpages, we mined data on academic staff of departments running graduate programs leading to PhD Pharmacology in the USA. All the data were mined within 96 hours of starting the investigation in 2016 and again in 2021 and were studied using descriptive statistics. There were a total of 25 such programs listed by the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET) website. From the descriptive statistics, the programs were not identical and varied in their staff compositions by numbers. A total of 1,993 academic staff members in 2016 and 2,042 academic staff members in 2021 were serving the 25 graduate pharmacology programs collectively. Notably more than 25% and less than 50% of the three categories of professorial cadre were non-pharmacology PhD holders. From the composite data of 2016 and 2021, mean staff per program were: 23 professors, 13 associate professors, and 15 assistant professors per program with 2 each of adjunct staff in the categories of professor, associate professors, and assistant professor. Also composite average per program were 5 joint staff, 3 postdoctoral fellows, 4 emeritus professors, and 11 various researchers. A pattern of top heavy majority of professors was derived from both the 2016 and 2021 investigations. Post docs, miscellaneous researchers, joint staff, and emeritus professors formed a dynamic pool. In totality, staffing of the 25 graduate pharmacology programs in the USA in 2016 and in 2021 were top - heavy experience and expert laden with the professorial cadre, diversified, and depicted dynamism during COVID-19 pandemic. What are the factors that influence saving behavior of university students?

This study surveys university students in Kathmandu valley to examine the impact of peer influence, parental influence and financial literacy on their saving behavior. The study was conducted among undergraduate and post graduate students in Kathmandu valley. Data obtained were analyzed using regression analysis and descriptive analysis such as percentage and frequency. It was discovered that saving behavior of students is significantly influenced by their peers, parents and financial literacy. The analysis further showed that income, age, gender and education level (undergrad and post grad) had no impact on their saving behavior. Hence, financial literacy, peer influence and parental influence were found to be most influential predictors of saving behaviors of university students in Kathmandu.

Comparison of the Efficacy of Absorbable Versus Non-Absorbable Sutures after Lichtenstein Mesh Hernioplasty Regarding Post Operative Pain

Objective: Comparison of the efficacy of absorbable versus non-absorbable sutures after Lichtenstein mesh hernioplasty. Methodology: We planned this Randomized Control Trial consisting of 200 cases, from Surgical outdoor booked for hernioplasty. All patients were examined in a comfortable environment. All the information was kept confidential. The patients were not aware of the randomization arm and selected via lottery method. All patients underwent Lichtenstein mesh hernioplasty under local anesthesia. Before surgery, a course of prophylactic antibiotics consisting of 1 g of IV cefazolin was administered to each patient. All procedures were done by skilled post graduate general surgical residents under consultant supervision. Predictable bias and confounding factors were controlled by restriction (inclusion and exclusion criteria) and randomization. Rest was addressed during final analysis through stratification. GROUP A patients undergo mesh fixation using Prolene 1. (non-absorbable) GROUP B patients undergo mesh fixation using Vicryl 0. (absorbable). For all treatments, a conventional tension-free uniformed surgical method was adopted. Patients were evaluated at 3 months followup to record the efficacy. Results: Mean age was calculated as 44.7+9.45, mean pain score on VAS was calculated as 2.04+0.72 in Group-A and 1.54+0.76 in Group-B,p-value=0.018. Comparison of efficacy of absorbable versus non-absorbable sutures after Lichtenstein mesh Hernioplasty shows that 83(n=83%) in Group-A and 94(n=94) in Group-B had efficacy while, p value 0.014 showing a significant difference. Conclusion: Our findings indicate that, following Lichtenstein mesh hernioplasty, absorbable suture is more effective than non-absorbable suture regarding post operative pain. English Anxiety in post graduate health education students: Phenomenological Study

This article explores the causes of English anxiety and its consequence in postgraduate health education students in Nepal. This study depends on a phenomenological study where knowledge comes from health education experience. Its reality is multiple. This study’s belief system is Interpretivism. The sampling procedure is purposive, and In-depth interviews were done over the telephone withtwo health education students. The thematic analysis method was used to analyze the data. This study shows that English anxiety poses an enemy to health education students and it emotionally paralyzes the students as a consequence. The main cause of anxiety of this kind is government schooling and less practice of the English language. Policymakers should implement the English language compulsory to fulfil this gap.

PERCEPTION AND ATTITUDE REGARDING COVID-19 INFECTION AMONG DENTAL STUDENTS

COVID 19 or corona virus is a RNA virus and firstly it was discovered in WUHAN, CHINA on 31st December 2019. SARS COV-2 is responsible for COVID 19 occurrence. A suggested route of humanto-human transmission is through airborne droplets, touching or coming into contact with an infected person or a contaminated surface A large number of medical staff were reported to have acquired the disease while working with infected individuals. The dental clinic is not an exception for a similar possibility of transmitting and acquiring the infection between staff or individuals; moreover, the dental clinic could be a riskier environment for spreading the virus because of the close contact with patients and the nature of the dental treatment. So the aim of the study was to evaluate the perception and attitude regarding covid-19 infection among dental students&#x0D; Methods: Post graduate students and interns of a dental college in Central India were selected.184 individuals in total were chosen, with 80 postgraduates overall and around 104 interns. Data was collected using an online questionnaire employing Google Forms. The questionnaires was distributed using social media platform like facebook, WhatsApp etc. Chi square test was used to evaluate perception and attitude regarding covid-19 infection among post graduates and interns and the the data obtained were subjected to statistical analysis using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS Version 23; Chicago Inc., IL, USA).&#x0D; Results: This study found that dental students are well-aware of effects of expected SARS-CoV-2 infection transmission in a clinical setting. It also came to the conclusion that postgraduates have a somewhat more positive attitude regarding the illness than interns do.&#x0D; Conclusion: The dentist and dental students must be aware of the effects of expected SARS-CoV-2 infection transmission in a clinical setting. They must therefore stay up to date on any updated information regarding this ailment which help them and their patients to be safe while treatment.

Repositioning Science Teacher Education Through Practical Oriented Application in the Teaching and Learning Process for Global Competitiveness: University Undergraduate’s View

The dynamism in educational development today had change holistically so people in charge too need to be proactive to meet the global challenges that can compete with the global world and to meet the global competitiveness if not our educational system will not be in line with the word educational system. This prompts the researchers to look at repositioning teaching and learning process by laying emphases on practical. Forty (40) respondents were used as the pilot study that comprises of six (6) science education lecturer and thirty-four post graduate student of the same department. Sixty-three undergraduate students were randomly selected as the sample population of the study from science education department. A structure questionnaire was design that consist of ten items for data collection using Linkert scale and the result was analyses using frequency counting, mean and standard deviation and t-test at P&gt;0.05. From the result it was observed that repositioning teaching and learning process using practical process is inevitable and that the teacher should ready to adopt practical as one of the cardinal points to teach some of the recommendation proffer includes giving awareness to the need for repositioning teaching and learning of science through practical oriented process and prompt adequate financing of the practical for better understanding of scientific phenomenon.

CLINICAL APPLICATION OF ICD-11 AND ITS UNDERSTANDING AMONG THE PSYCHIATRISTS AND POST GRADUATE PSYCHIATRIC RESIDENTS OF PAKISTAN

Objectives: To find out the problems associated with the clinical utilization of ICD-11 by the psychiatrists of Pakistan. To understand the basic description of its utilization in clinical practice. Study design: It is a cross-sectional descriptive study. Place and duration of study: The study was conducted through an online survey which was circulated to the psychiatrists across country. Subjects and methods: A sample size of 130 psychiatrists including the post graduate residents responded to the e-mail and WhatsApp messages. The survey was on Google Docs, and it was an online survey with responses of “yes, no and don't know”. The ethical approval for the survey was taken from Pakistan psychiatric research centre, fountain house Lahore, Pakistan. Results: Out of 130 psychiatrists, 65.4% were the residents who heard about ICD-11 mostly from academic activity conducted by the authors. 48.5% of psychiatrists believe that it is difficult to adjust with the new classification system. Conclusion: ICD-11 is a new classification system. It requires training from the seniors and workshops related to its utility through the online mortality and morbidity statistics by WHO across various countries.
