The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting the growth of the port logistics industry in Busan, Incheon and Jeonnam, and to suggest implications. We estimate the model using the level variable and the model using the fraction variable by reflecting the results of the panel cointegration test. The pooled model, fixed effect model, and random effect model were applied simultaneously according to selection criteria of appropriate model. The estimated results are as follows. In most of the models, the impact of labor on the growth of port logistics industry is highest in Incheon, followed by Busan and Jeonnam. The impact of capital on the port logistics industry growth is highest in Jeonnam, followed by Busan and Incheon. These results suggest that In order to improve the growth of the regional port logistics industry in the future, it is necessary to develop the port hinterland and attract foreign and domestic investment in accordance with the local characteristics. In addition, The government should expand policy support to attract foregin direct investment and skilled workforce.
