The M. V. Frunze Scientific-Production Union has mastered or is in the stage of preparing for production of the following equipment for compressor and refrigerating plants used in the gas and oil industry: reverse gas injection for the exploitation of gas-condensate fields (Saikling process plant) and the gas lifting of petroleum; -the transport of natural gas through gas mains (GM) and reverse injection into underground gas reservoirs (UGR); -the preparation and transport of oil gas, as well as its delivery for processing at gas-refining plants (GRP); reverse injection of oil gas to raise the seam pressure of the petroleum and eliminate losses; --the filling of motor vehicle tanks with natural gas; -the cooling of natural gas as it is transported through GM under permafrost conditions; -the recovery, condensation, and. delivery of oil-condensate vapors and petroleum products for refinement at oil fields, oil-refining plants (ORP), oil-tank farms, and ports; -the preparation and utilization of torch gases for ORP. At the present time, the union is mastering the production of 62 types of equipmen.: for the indicated production processes on the basis of centrifugal and piston compressors, as well as different types of refrigerating plants. By January 1, 1993 the union had produced approximately 2000 units of large-scale equipment for the gas and oil industry. Fifty-three modifications of gas-transfer units (GTU) with centrifugal compressors (CC) and eIectric (ED), aircraft (AD), or naval (ND) drives rated at 6.3-25 MW are in series production for the transport of gas alone. In recent years, the following have been among the most critical operations performed by the union's Division of Turbocompressor Machinery (DTCM). 1. A set of operations involving the testing and operational development of the first domestic 16-MW UKSP-16/500 plant with CC for the Saikling process under a pressure of 50 MPa. All work performed on the plant, which was built by the union in conjunction with a number of organizations [Scientific-Research Institute of Compressor Machinery (Sumy), ScientificResearch Institute of Turbocompressors (Kazan'), All-Union Scientific-Research Institute of Petroleum Machinery (Moscow), and the State Technical University (St. Petersburg), as well as the Scientific-Production Union "Kazan'kompressormash" and the Production Union "Uralkhimash"], has been successfully completed; this has made it possible to lease the plant for commercial exploitation at the Timofeev gas-condensate field (Poltava Oblast). 2. The development of technical documentation on a new generation of GTU with AD: the 6.3-MW GPS-Ts-6.3A with a D-336 drive; the 16-MW GPA-Ts-16L with an AL-31ST drive; and the 25-MW GPA-Ts-25 with an NK-36ST drive. 3. A large set of building operations involving the design of equipment for oil-gas compressor plants (CP) on the basis of new designs for turbocompressor units (TCU): the KS-3.0-TsGTP/4-56 with an output of 3 million rma3/day under a pressure of 5.49 MPa; and the KS-6.3-TsGTP/4-76 with an output of 6.3 million nm3/day under a pressure of 7.46 MPa. 4. The development of new modifications for the AGNKS-MBKI-250 and AGNKS-MBKt-125/25-1 automobile compressor filling stations. 5. The development and testing of electric-drive 6.3-MW GTU in. a corrosion-resistant enclosure: l~GPA-Ts-6.3/32K-2.2 and ]~GPA-Ts-6.3/67K-2.2 for gases containing hydrogen sulfide. The mastering of series production and the use of newly developed equipment will tower the technical level of aw products of the gas and oil industry.
