It is proved that the system could carry out goods safely and stably. Moreover, it is effective to save the manpower and improve the efficiency.

Research and Application of Automation Controlling System for Plate Ultra Fast Cooling Process

To implement the new generation thermo mechanical control process (NG-TMCP), the automatic control system of ultra fast cooling (UFC) was developed by combined with the renovation project of controlled cooling system in one plate production line. This system was composed of basic automation subsystem and process automation subsystem. As the main control unit of the basic automatic control system, a S7400 PLC system is used to control the UFC device and to achieve the chain control between the UFC system and the mill system. While the process control system is to realize the automatical setting of the cooling schedule by the developed finite element temperature field model and the temperature homogeneity model. The industry application shows that the NG-TMCP which is based on the UFC can reduce the alloy content effectively and implement the low-cost reduction produce of high-grade products.

We proposed the structure and technics process in corrugated single plane pressure control system through the combination of weighing module SIWAREX and PLC S7-300. We also introduced the system work principle, the hardware configuration and PLC software design. As the special weighing module is applied here, the stability of the pressure load signal has been significantly improved to satisfy the pressure requirements of the board production process. The pressure can be set from the central control room in the production line or the workshop office through network to realize intelligentl control in production management so as to save the production data and avoid the paper break or bad conglutination problem. This design will have a very good application in the area of corrugated packaging in the future.

Research on Direct Tension Control of Underfeed Winder

The paper analyzes the method of direct tension control, provides repaired method of closed loop speed for tension control of underfeed winder, and designs the systematic hardware figuration and software to effectively meet the demands of different volume control. Furthermore, the problems including pressure control of pressing roller, load distribution control of two-drum winder, tension control of paper, and dynamic compensation control were analyzed and solved through the design of hardware and software of S7-300 PLC.

Through analyzing the operation principle of mixer, main functions and specifications of the system are proposed. In this paper, the hardware constitution and the software design method of the system are introduced in detail, and the working process of the asphalt concrete mixer can be controlled automatically and intelligently in real time. Moreover, the functions of batching control, process monitoring and data management has been realized. Test results show that the asphalt concrete mixer works stably and reliability.

In this paper, in order to ensure stable and efficient operation of a pilot-scale modified A2/O (anoxic/anaerobic/aerobic/pre-anoxic) -MBR plant, the automatic control system based on PLC is designed and introduced from the views of system configuration and unit control methods. The master computer undertakes the monitoring and managing task by Siemens WINCC 7.0 configuring software, while the slave computer implements the function of data collection and automatic control based on Siemens S7-300 PLC. Intelligent PID algorithm is utilized to precisely control the influent flow rate, recycled flow rate and DO concentration in aerobic tank in this system. The commissioning and operation practice has proved that the PLC-based automatic control system greatly improved the degree of automation and achieved high nutrient removal efficiency in this plant.

Application of IMC-PID in the Hydraulic Headbox Total Pressure Control

It is very difficult to obtain perfect performance to apply the conventional PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) controller, because hydraulic headbox needs high precision total pressure control. Transfer function of total pressure control system was identified by using the direct identification method which is based on the least square method for the first-order plus delay time model. Then combined with IMC (Internal-Model-control) –PID method, an IMC-PID controller was designed, which is simple and only needed to adjust one parameter-the time constant of low pass filter. Acceptable performance can also be obtained by tuning time constant of the low pass filter when the model doesn't match with the real process. The algorithm was applied to total pressure control system of hydraulic headbox. Simulation and practical application show that, IMC-PID is of strong robustness and good dynamic characteristics. Finally, the control system is implemented by S7-300 PLC.
