Conceptual Innovative Arabic Language Lesson Plan Based on 21st Century Skills

The learning implementation design or called RPP is an important component in manifesting the form of teaching and learning activities. The design of the implementation of integral learning is the design of the implementation of learning that involves different processes to get good results. This requires special attention that the design of the implementation of learning has a very large effect on teacher performance and the quality of students. Plus the phenomenon that is increasingly happening in the 21st century is the absolute need for students to have qualified skills that become an important standard in the life of globalization. This is something that the teacher must respond to quickly in his expertise in creating the concept of an innovative Arabic language learning implementation design that is oriented towards 21st century skills. However, the problem is that it is difficult for teachers to formulate learning objectives, develop unique 21st century learning steps including strategies, models, methods and their development in the field due to lack of education about understanding the process of preparing innovative 21st century skills-based RPP with an insufficient period of time. Thus the challenges of teachers will be even greater, new innovations will continue to be generated. On that basis, this study aims to understand and know more clearly the conceptual design of the implementation of innovative Arabic learning based on 21st century skills. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of library research (library research), which is to obtain correct and good information on research criteria from all reading and recording activities. in the form of books, journals, articles, survey results, seminar materials and other research results.

This article’s purpose is to investigate the correlation between the words Aeronautics, Air Force and Aeronautics Command, their use in the institution’s documents and how their meaning affects the concepts of Politics, Strategy and Planning. It is possible to verify, in many aspects, that the press, scholars in the academic field and even the military personnel of the Air Force use those words as they have similar meaning independently of the context. To verify this fact, the investigation will use the inductive method, whose main means of investigation where the bibliographic and documentary research. At the end of the research was possible to notice that even though these words are used as synonymous their real meaning varies, changing the context of public papers, showing that it is mandatory to adequate their use to its real meaning.

Plans and reality in the horizon of the future: towards the issue of conceptualization in the analysis of social behavior

In the practice of sociological research, the growth of interest in various aspects of social behavior is the higher the more acute the crisis period and uncertainty of reality. Today, adherence to life guidelines, resistance to various challenges, flexibility in the strategies of social behavior acquire the status of a key competitive advantage in ensuring stability, security and development of Russian society. The relevance of the topic is due to the demand for the development of new approaches to the analysis of social behavior, which will allow to take into account not only the objective conditions of people’s lives, but also their subjective ideas about the desired future. The article substantiates the conceptualization of the concepts of plans and reality in the horizon of near and far planning of life goals within the boundaries of the methodology of studying social behavior. The author’s model of analysis of social behavior strategy choice allows taking into account not only rational but also axiological aspects of social behavior, as well as its relationship with life strategies, motivation, and beliefs. The empirical base is the data obtained in the course of nationwide studies conducted by the Institute of Sociology of the Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the period 2015–2024. The conceptual model is tested through the comparison of perceptions of the spheres of desired and actually achieved success in the realization of life goals through the characteristics of the length of the planning horizon and the perception of their future. The analysis of dynamics showed that family, work, personal well-being constitute the core of perceptions of success and, as a consequence, the motivation of achievement and the formation of the image of the future. Negative trends were revealed: a structural shift in the assessment of the importance of education, a high gap between plans and real prospects for professional realization. The height of social barriers in the spheres of labor market and material well-being remains significant for a significant part of respondents. In terms of personal future planning horizon, stable trends were found: in assessing their current situation among those who have plans for the future there are twice as many who assess it as good; the share of those who have achieved or achieved a lot is also higher among those who have plans than among those who do not make plans at all. An additional angle of analysis through the criterion of planning horizon length serves as a meaningful measure of proactivity of social behavior, manifestation of values and perceptions in specific actions. The results of the study can be useful for sociologists studying social behavior, as well as for specialists working in the field of social psychology, social management and forecasting; they can contribute to the development of new methods for analyzing social behavior, taking into account its subjective component.

Optimal design of experiments in the context of machine-learning inter-atomic potentials: improving the efficiency and transferability of kernel based methods.

Abstract Data-driven machine learning (ML) models of atomistic interactions are often based on flexible and non-physical functions that can relate nuanced aspects of atomic arrangements to predictions of energies and forces. As a result, these potentials are only as good as the training data (usually the results of so-called ab initio simulations), and we need to ensure that we have enough information to make a model sufficiently accurate, reliable and transferable. The main challenge stems from the fact that descriptors of chemical environments are often sparse, high-dimensional objects without a well-defined continuous metric. Therefore, it is rather unlikely that any ad hoc method for selecting training examples will be indiscriminate, and it is easy to fall into the trap of confirmation bias, where the same narrow and biased sampling is used to generate training and test sets. We will show that an approach derived from classical concepts of statistical planning of experiments and optimal design can help to mitigate such problems at a relatively low computational cost. The key feature of the method we will investigate is that it allows us to assess the quality of the data without obtaining reference energies and forces - a so-called offline approach. In other words, we are focusing on an approach that is easy to implement and doesn't require sophisticated frameworks that involve automated access to high performance computing (HPC).

Knowledge and Skills of Pre-Service Teachers in Lesson Planning: Inputs to the Development of a Lesson Planning Guide (LPG)

Effective lesson planning is essential in teaching, making it a crucial skill for every pre-service teacher. This study assessed the knowledge, skills, and experiences of pre-service teachers in lesson planning at Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, aiming to develop a lesson planning guide. A mixed-methods design was used, employing validated objective tests to measure knowledge and skills among 229 pre-service teachers. Focus group discussions with 55 pre-service teachers, 15 instructors/professors, and 21 cooperating teachers explored experiences and provided triangulated data. Inputs from these were utilized to develop and validate the output through 33 expert evaluations.Quantitative findings showed that pre-service teachers demonstrated partial mastery of lesson planning concepts, poor planning skills, and a moderate correlation between knowledge and skills. Qualitative data revealed challenges in formulating SMART objectives, selecting formats, ensuring congruence, integrating disciplines, choosing relevant activities, and maintaining correct grammar. Causes included limited exposure, insufficient feedback, and inadequate references. Despite these, pre-service teachers coped through resourcefulness.The resulting Theoretical and Practical Lesson Planning Guide received excellent validation, with minor suggested revisions. Recommendations include teaching lesson planning theories before guided practical activities and considering a dedicated Lesson Planning course in teacher education curricula. Experimentation on the guide’s effectiveness is advised before broader adoption.

A systematic review of the accuracy of prognostic tests and scoring systems for use in the Global Vascular Guidelines' PLAN concept for the treatment of chronic limb threatening ischaemia.

The 2019 Global Vascular Guidelines recommend risk assessment for evidence based revascularization based on the acronym PLAN; Patient risk, Limb severity and ANatomical complexity of disease. This meta-analysis compares a multitude of prognostic tests within these categories. A systematic review and meta-analysis of tests that estimated 1 year major event (amputation free survival and major adverse limb events) probability. Individual patient data were reconstructed from survival estimate curves. With presence or absence of major events; sensitivity, specificity and area-under-receiver operating characteristics curves (AUC) were computed. Tests with an AUC ≥70%, or that correlated with revascularization feasibility were included. Practical application of tests was assessed to make a recommendation on PLAN implementation. Ninety-six studies describing 77 unique predictive techniques were included, of which thirteen were sufficient. These 13 tests were divided in 4 Patient risk (5 studies), 3 Limb severity (3 studies) and 6 Anatomical complexity of disease (9 studies). Three tests were included; Biochemical assessment of calprotectin and CRP, radiological measurement of sarcopenia and predictive score with the GermanVasc CLTI score. These tests scored AUCs of 82.0%, 72.7% and 71.8% respectively, of which the GermanVasc CLTI score was deemed most applicable in clinical practice. The adjusted Wound Ischemia foot Infection score resulted as best predictive score (AUC 78.8%), but due to the lack of external validation, the original Wound, Ischemia, foot Infection score was deemed best applicable. No test surpassed 70% AUC for 1-year event estimation, and was correlated with feasibility of revascularization, the latter only being served by the Global Limb Anatomic Staging System (GLASS). In evidence based revascularization in patients with CLTI according to the PLAN concept, we recommend to use GermanVasc, Wound Ischemia and Foot Infection, and the Global Limb Anatomic Staging System.

UMSU KKN activities in Dusun II, Pantai Labu Village focus on developing a simple financial education program for elementary school students through the concept of saving. This program is motivated by the importance of instilling the habit of saving from an early age to form a wise young generation in managing finances. One of the innovations implemented is the Savings Challenge, which is designed to increase students' motivation to save consistently. This competition involves all students, where they compete to save with a certain target during a predetermined period. The purpose of this program is to teach students about the importance of saving regularly and introduce the concept of simple financial planning. The method used is a participatory approach, where students are actively involved through games, stories, and group saving challenges. In addition, collaboration with teachers and parents is also an important part in ensuring the sustainability of the program. The results of this program show an increase in students' motivation to save, both at school and at home. Children not only understand the importance of saving, but are also motivated to achieve their short-term financial targets. In addition, this program also received support from teachers and parents, who felt a positive impact on students' behavior in managing their money.

Outdoor thermal performance of urban development patterns in Greater Adelaide since the late 19th century

Extreme heat events have become more common and more severe during summer than ever before as a result of the warming climate in Australia. The impact of urban morphology and green coverage on outdoor thermal comfort has been the subject of extensive research, however, their link to suburban developments of different historic periods is still underexplored. This paper investigates and compares the outdoor thermal performance of ten suburban areas constructed since the late nineteenth century in Greater Adelaide, which were built to different planning ideals and concepts of their time. Microclimate models of two precedents for five development eras were constructed in ENVI-met, validated with site data related to a recent heatwave event in 2023, and then used to facilitate further investigation of the impact of development patterns on outdoor thermal comfort. This study examines how these urban patterns perform in scenarios of varying development intensity and greenery ratio. In these case studies, the distance between buildings, streets’ spatial ratio and green coverage has a significant impact on the thermal environment. The results underline the impact of solar exposure on outdoor thermal performance even in lower-density suburban areas. Some of the outcomes of the study are counter-intuitive to conventional assumptions about urban design typologies. In this comparison, for example, one of the “green” model garden city developments did not perform as well as denser 19th-century suburbs. The results can support better decision-making for future urban planning in Australia and other regions with similar climate conditions. The study shows that real performance does not always align with stated green ambitions and, urban design should consider and evaluate heat mitigation through evidence-based testing to achieve real green development.

Business Process Clustering in Small and Medium Manufacturing Industries Based on Enterprise Resource Planning Concepts: A Systematic Literature Review

Abstract Business process management has become increasingly important in the manufacturing sector, playing a vital role in fostering productivity and facilitating organizational adaptability to technological advancements. Although each company’s business process models vary in uniqueness and complexity, certain similarities can be identified from these differences. This study employs a systematic literature review to aggregate and summarize findings on business process models, modeling languages, clustering techniques, and foundational clustering principles. Results demonstrate the dearth of research on the grouping of business process models in the manufacturing industry. Several studies have focused on sectors such as services, trading, and insurance. Research specifically addressing clustering in the manufacturing sector is limited. Existing clustering efforts in manufacturing revolve around groupings related to product defects, industrial locations, business ecosystems, and similar factors. Analysis of the methods, scope, and criteria used in grouping business process models in the manufacturing industry indicates that most approaches rely on structural or graphic similarities. Follow-up research is lacking once these business process clusters are identified. This study proposes a novel approach to grouping, integrating business process modeling with the implementation of a management information system. Business process management relies on integrating departments within the company through an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. The next step involves proposing a conceptual framework to categorize business processes and assess the comparability of models in the manufacturing sector. Future research directions are also delineated.

New urban agenda: sustainable development goals, urban mobility and healthy cities

The trends of modern urban planning are studied, namely two of its urban planning concepts - “Plan for Sustainable Urban Mobility” and “Healthy City”, their theoretical development within the framework of adopted documents, agendas and programs for sustainable development. The goals of sustainable development are studied, the achievement of which is devoted to the documents “New Urban Development Program” and the declaration “Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period up to 2030”. It is concluded that sustainable development considers the integration of goals in territorial planning, environmental protection and public health, achieving social and gender equality, housing policy, and transport development as the basis for unified urban planning.

Improving teaching quality: Development of the PjBL microteaching model for prospective biology teachers

Educational institutions prepare prospective biology teachers so they can carry out learning effectively and efficiently. However, there is a gap in meeting the needs for effective learning for prospective biology teachers. Based on a survey of 177 prospective teacher students, it was found that they preferred microteaching to be integrated with the project-based learning model. The aim of this research is to develop a PjBL-based microteaching model. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The research subjects were 36 fourth-semester students from the Biology Education Study Program who were enrolled in microteaching courses. The PjBL-based microteaching model has the syntax, (1) Instructional to the concept of microteaching, (2) plan, (3) teach, (4) feedback and reflection, (5) project collection, (6) project evaluation. Conclusion: This PjBL-based microteaching model is developed from microteaching and PjBL theories. The PjBL-based microteaching model for prospective biology teachers is deemed suitable for use, as indicated by validator assessments and small group and large group tests. Based on the results of the large group trials, it is evident that this model positively impacts the 4C skills of prospective biology teachers.

Uptake of ecosystem service concept in urban blue-green infrastructure planning and decision-making in Russia

ABSTRACT In the scientific community, ecosystem services (ESs) are well-recognized as a promising concept to more actively consider and plan for the multitude of benefits provided by the green environment and thus promote sustainable urban development. Yet, to have an impact on decision-making, the concept must spread from academia to practice. To understand to what extent ES have been adopted in practice and decision-making in Russia, we conducted a series of interviews and an online survey with both practitioners and scientists and complemented it by document analysis. Our results showed that ES are not adequately reflected in urban decision-making and planning processes. Moreover, we found no explicit references to ES in strategic urban planning and landscape development projects, although there are few implicit references in several reviewed documents. Among the identified challenges for better uptake of the concept in practice were many disagreements associated with the lack of a unified terminology, typology, and methods. Stakeholders understand the potential of applying ES valuation in practice, which includes a necessity to develop methodological materials and different tools based on real-life cases. Finally, a list of proposals on possible ways to better include ES in urban planning and in decision-making processes was formed by the respondents.

Path Planning of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Based on a Multi-Strategy Improved Pelican Optimization Algorithm.

The UAV path planning algorithm has many applications in urban environments, where an effective algorithm can enhance the efficiency of UAV tasks. The main concept of UAV path planning is to find the optimal flight path while avoiding collisions. This paper transforms the path planning problem into a multi-constraint optimization problem by considering three costs: path length, turning angle, and collision avoidance. A multi-strategy improved POA algorithm (IPOA) is proposed to address this. Specifically, by incorporating the iterative chaotic mapping method with refracted reverse learning strategy, nonlinear inertia weight factors, the Levy flight mechanism, and adaptive t-distribution variation, the convergence accuracy and speed of the POA algorithm are enhanced. In the CEC2022 test functions, IPOA outperformed other algorithms in 69.4% of cases. In the real map simulation experiment, compared to POA, the path length, turning angle, distance to obstacles, and flight time improved by 8.44%, 5.82%, 4.07%, and 9.36%, respectively. Similarly, compared to MPOA, the improvements were 4.09%, 0.76%, 1.85%, and 4.21%, respectively.

Optimizing an express delivery mode based on high-speed railway and crowd-couriers

The rapid development of e-commerce has led to various challenges in the express delivery industry. To provide efficient and economical delivery services, this study introduces a joint transportation system for parcel delivery utilizing high-speed railway (HSR) and crowd-couriers. In this system, long-haul transportation between cities is conducted by HSR, which enables multiple transshipments in different operation lines. The pre-haul parcel pickup and end-haul delivery services within the city are performed by crowd-couriers, thus achieving door-to-door transportation. A mathematical model is developed to jointly optimize the freight allocation problem in the rail segment and the crowd-courier routing problem in the road segment. The freight allocation problem is formulated based on the concept of transportation plans. The transportation plans with and without transshipments are found by a depth-first search-based algorithm in the rail segment. A customized heuristic algorithm based on the adaptive large neighborhood search with multiple operators is designed to find a near-optimal solution. A set of numerical experiments demonstrates the speed and accuracy with which the proposed method solves different-sized versions of problem. A sensitivity analysis based on a real HSR network is also conducted to provide more reliable managerial insights for operators.

Substantive behavioral aspects of consumer behavior in the conditions of sanctions pressure on the Russian economy

Relevance. Sanctions pressure on the economy of the Russian Federation is one of the most important factors influencing consumer behavior and their consumer preferences. Under sanctions, many social, economic and political aspects influence consumer behavior, from which new consumer trends and changes in consumer behavior emerge.The purpose is to explore the substantive behavioral aspects of consumer behavior under the conditions of sanctions pressure on the Russian economy.Objectives: study changes in consumer preferences in connection with global crises; analyze changes in consumer behavior depending on various factors and price dynamics as a factor in consumer behavior; explore the influence of cognitive distortions on the meaningful behavioral aspects of consumers; propose the concept of business company plans in accordance with new consumer expectations.Methodology. In the process of research, general scientific methods of logical and statistical analysis, field research, as well as qualitative and quantitative analysis were used. Results. The survey showed that consumers have become more frugal and choose domestic brands in order to save money, the study of the impact of cognitive distortions on consumers showed that society is prone to a pessimistic attitude in terms of adopting new domestic products and brands.Conclusions. A business plan under sanctions pressure, aimed at the novelty of the product and its effectiveness, will help companies promote their goods and services on the Russian market during the period of sanctions pressure. Focusing on changing the object of purchase, place of purchase (online trading if possible), timing and methods of procurement in accordance with new motives and customer expectations will give companies an advantage in conditions of market instability and changing behavioral aspects of consumers.

Adapting to Changing Landscape: Strategic Planning and Change Management in Islamic Higher Education

This study aims to analyze the concept and process of strategic planning that can contribute to the success and effectiveness of strategic planning in Islamic universities by following the steps of strategic change developed by John Moore Bryson. The background of this study is based on the fact that the university environment, especially Islamic universities, generally still needs significant breakthroughs in strategic planning. The mixed method is used to consider the aspect of academic usefulness. First, the mixed method strategy gradually expands the findings. Second, the mixed method strategy combines quantitative and qualitative data into one piece of information to obtain a comprehensive analysis. The research findings show that the strategy model is an effort to integrate the main objectives and policies of the organization into a series of actions that can be relied on in achieving the organization at a certain point. The results of this study are expected to provide an essential contribution by identifying the gap between the John Moore-Bryson model and the strategic change model in the organizational environment of Islamic universities.

Bioeconomy, Planning and Sustainable Development: A Theoretical Framework

The bioeconomy concept first emerged in the 1990s in the context of the sustainable development of European economies but in specific respect to the disciplines of biology and biotechnology. This has arguably obscured the concept’s theoretical development since the biotechnology term has a limited field of application. This has led to diverse perspectives on what the bioeconomy means and how it should function. This paper aims to contribute to the theoretical development of the bioeconomy concept by interpreting the concept as a component of sustainable development, and as a spatial planning concept. This is important since such theoretical development aims to address the complex challenges facing bioeconomy transition and the need to combat climate change in a socially equitable manner. It does this by interpreting the bioeconomy through the lens of the environmental, economic, social and governance pillars of sustainable development, which is important in understanding how bioeconomy systems can most effectively function in the transition towards a renewable-based economy.

Dziedzictwo kulturowe w procesie rozwoju lokalnego na obszarach niezurbanizowanych

The aim of this article is to show how cultural heritage can be used for local development. The article takes the form of a case study, focusing on the rural commune of Stegna located in the Pomeranian Voivodship. The empirical material was provided by ethnographic research carried out in 2019, its subject-matter being cultural heritage understood according to the constructivist approach. The ethnographic study included desk research, observations of local initiatives, and individual interviews with representatives of the local community. The material thus gathered was interpreted using Gregory Ashworth’s concept of heritage planning. The article emphasised the fluid nature of heritage as a resource that can be used to initiate processes of local development. A particular situation is the presence of so-called “dissonant heritage”, the specific nature of which has a significant impact on its use in development processes.

Power system planning in the energy transition era: the case of Vietnam's power development plan 8

ABSTRACT This review examines Vietnam's eighth Power Development Plan (PDP8), analyzing how it reveals tensions between traditional energy planning concepts and emerging realities. PDP8 aimed to balance renewable energy and natural gas priorities amidst Vietnam's rapidly changing energy landscape. The planning process struggled to incorporate uncertainties like technology cost declines and global energy crises. Although following a conventional optimization approach, PDP8 underwent repeated delays and pivots, pointing to misalignment between rational planning ideals and implementation constraints. The case study highlights the limitations of ‘plan to build’ methods focused on rigid engineering blueprints. Instead, Vietnam's energy transition requires strategic approaches that embrace flexibility and scenario analysis. Based on years of participative observation, two interview surveys, and extensive corpus analysis, the review traces PDP8's evolution towards more open-ended strategies. While still detailing infrastructure projects, PDP8 defines adaptive implementation mechanisms and conditional goals dependent on external finance. This shift from project lists to navigational thinking illustrates the need for energy planning to incorporate uncertainty and maintain the capacity to adjust. PDP8 represents a transitional compromise between traditional ten-year planning and emerging ‘plan to drive’ concepts focused on navigating change with annual updates to the Plan.
