OZET: Bu calisma, misir bitkisinin kisintili sulama uygulamalarinda ortaya koydugu verim ve gelisim tepkileri belirlemek amaciyla 1999-2000 yillarinda Harran Ovasi kosullarinda yurutulmustur. Experiment was conducted with 5 trials along with 3 replications in the years of 1999 and 2000 using drip irrigation system. While control plots were irrigated as 100% replenishment of soil water depletion in the effective root zone on weekly intervals, irrigation water was applied to the other treatments with 20%, 40%, 60% and 80% of those applied water to control plots. A total of 1215 mm and 1295 mm of irrigation water were applied to control irrigation treatment, in which water depletion was determined as 1320 mm and 1435 mm in 1999 and 2000, respectively. Grain yield obtained from the above mentioned treatment was 1294 kg/da in the first year and 1405 kg/da in the second year. A significant decrease in growth parameters examined (plant height, stem diameter, LAI, and dry matter ) was observed based on reductions in the application of irrigation water. Yield response factor for total growing period were found as 0.77 and 0.81 for 1999 and 2000 growing periods, respectively. Key words: Drip irrigation, corn, yield response factor, Harran plain
