The roadmap towards National Health Insurance (JKN) targets that by 2019 all Indonesian residents will be covered by JKN. One way to achieve this program is to encourage community participation and increase membership compliance. However, some independent participants (non PBI) who have registered, drop out from BPJS Health participants. Patients will have a high commitment if the service provider respects the patient. So that the possibility of dropping out of BPJS health participants is the dissatisfaction of BPJS Health participants with services at the hospital. The impact to patient dissatisfaction is to tell ten to eleven people because 78 % of Indonesia consumers trust what friends say more. This study aims to determine the effect of BPJS patient commitment and satisfaction on word of mouth in outpatient services at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta General Hospital. This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional approach. The sample is 100 people with accidental sampling technique. Data analysis using multiple linear regression tests. The results of the analysis shows that the commitment and satisfaction of BPJS patients has an influence on word of mouth in outpatient services at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital. So that PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital data increases the commitment and satisfaction of BPJS patients in outpatient services by paying attention to word of mouth.
