ANALISIS KAPASITAS FUNGSIONAL RSU PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL DALAM PENANGGULANGAN BENCANA

PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital has been developing a disaster management hospital concept since 2008. A training through HOPE (Hospital Preparedness for Emergency and Disaster) has been conducted successfully. This research was aimed to measure the functional capacity of the PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul hospital in responding disaster and awareness of the staff as in Contingency Plan. The Hospital Safety Index criteria were used as the measurement instrument, which was consisted of five group indices. A descriptive survey technique was applied by means purposive sampling method. The samples were the staff in the Hospital Disaster Management Boards. A number of 61 questions were required by interview, observation and documents identification method. The hospital’s functional capacity index was calculated as 0.66. The scores varied for each group indices from 0.25 to 0.87. The highest score of 0.87 was obtained for group index of the operational plan, preventive maintenance and critical service restoration, whilst, the disaster emergency plan was assigned to the lowest score as 0.25. The mean score of all staffs about their job descriptions in contingency plan was 75.45 out of 100. Knowledge mean score of formulator staffs was 100 (high), while non formulator staffs was 69.7 (average). The core staff positioned in disaster management gained highest score (80.2), while the supporting staff was 74.7 (average). Hospital functional capacity index was 0.66 assessed in A class, indicating deemed to keep functioned during disaster situation. Awareness of the staffs, who designed Contingency Plan, were higher than the others. Deviation in awareness was also found among the staff involved in Contingency Plan. The manager level had a higher understanding in disaster preparedness if compared to the supporting staff.

PENGARUH PROMOSI TERHADAP SIKAP PASIEN RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL

The mushrooming hospitals in Bantul had forced PKU Muhammadiyah hospital to conduct promotions. A promotion will be very useful to provide information to the society about the service excellence offered by a hospital in order that it becomes the society’s preference when they seek for medical and health treatment. This research was a descriptive quantitative one using cross sectional approach. The population included all outpatients, and the sample was confined to 90 patients. Meanwhile, the analytical tool was the multiple linier regression. This research found a regression equation of Y = 0.225 X1 + 0.267X3 + 0.338X4 + e. The coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.649, which explained that the involvement of promotion influenced patients’ attitude as much as 64.9%. The score of F count was 42.159 with F significance of 0.000 and 95% confidence. For the mean time, the influence of promotional activities to the attitude of the patients of PKU MuhammadiyahBantul Hospital comprised advertising (2.129, p = 0.036), direct marketing (2.774, p = 0.007), and public relation (3.657, p= 0.000). Meanwhile, the variable personal selling did not influence the patient’s attitude (1.074, p = 0.286). To sum up, the factors in promotion mix influencing the attitude of the patients in PKU MuhammadiyahBantul Hospital are advertising, direct marketing, and public relation.

Examining Healthcare Profesional’s Acceptance of Electronic Medical Records System using Extended UTAUT2

This study aims to analyze user acceptance of the Electronic Medical Record system using the extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology 2 model at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul hospital. The UTAUT 2 model was chosen because it is the latest technology acceptance model which is a unification, synthesis, or summary of the eight pre-existing technology acceptance models. The subjects in this study were PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul hospital employees who used an electronic medical record system specifically for outpatient care. The object of this study is user acceptance of using the RME system in health services. Data collection techniques in this study are using questionnaires and observation. This research is a type of quantitative analytic research with data analysis using descriptive analysis. Data processing in this study used Smart-PLS software version 4.0 with SEM-PLS data analysis. The results showed that the aspects of the extended UTAUT2 model that had a positive and significant effect on user acceptance were performance expectancy (t=1.816), while the aspects of effort expectancy (t=0.419), social influence (t=0.635), facilitating conditions (t=0.139), hedonic motivation (t=0.909), price value (t=.304) habit (t=1.458), trust (t=0.032) and perceived risk (1.365) have no effect on user acceptance of the EMR system. Gender and age moderation variables were found to have no effect on the relationship between variables.

The Role of Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) and Platelet to Lymphocyte Ratio (PLR) in Appendicitis

Aim: Predictive values of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) are associated with poor outcomes in several diseases. Furthermore, there has been limited publication of those parameters in appendicitis patients in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the role of NLR and PLR in differentiating complicated appendicitis and uncomplicated appendicitis. Methods: The design of this study is a retrospective using medical records of appendicitis patients from January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2020, conducted at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. There are 408 data on appendicitis patients that can be analyzed. Results: The WBC, neutrophils, NLR, and PLR was significantly higher in the complicated appendicitis group than in the uncomplicated group [11,5 (3.79-35.2) vs. 8.42 (3.32-39.30), p<0.0001; 8.63 (2.359-2.647) vs. 5.446 (1.691-35.960), p<0.0001; 5.65 (0.95-23.86) vs.3.82 (0.81-23.86), p<0.0001; 168.57 (37.27-974.03) vs.139.40 (56.84-1274.31), p<0.0001, respectively] followed by a significantly lower lymphocyte count [1.709 (0.154-5.71) vs. 2.094 (0.401-5.812), p<0.0001, respectively]. The area under the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, cutoff point, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value (PPV), negative predictive value (NPV), and likelihood ratio of NLR for diagnosis of complicated appendicitis were 0.76, >2.84, 75.21%, 62.65%, 74.6%, 63.4%, 2.01, 0.40, respectively. In contrast, an area under ROC curve, cutoff point, sensitivity, specificity, PPV, NPV, and likelihood ratio of PLR for differentiating complicated and uncomplicated appendicitis were 0.605, >140.6, 65.70%, 51.81%, 66.5%, 50.9%, 1.36, and 0.66 respectively. Conclusion: The cutoff values of NLR (>2.84) and PLR (>140.6) were significant diagnostic parameters for complicated appendicitis (p = 0.0001). Hence, NLR and PLR can assist in diagnosing complicated appendicitis.

ANALISIS LEADERSHIP STYLE KEPALA RUANG KEPERAWATAN RAWAT INAP DALAM UPAYA PENINGKATAN KINERJA PERAWAT DI RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL

Introduction: Nursing management is a special task that must be carried out by nursing managers to plan, organize, direct, and supervise existing resources, both human resources, tools, and funds, so that they can provide effective nursing services to patients, family, and society. As a nursing manager, you must have a leadership spirit to achieve organizational goals that have been determined through other people.
 Objective: to determine the relationship between the leadership style of the head of the nursing room and the performance of inpatient nurses.
 Methods: This research is a quantitative research type, using a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was the head of the treatment room and inpatient nurses at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, Yogyakarta Special Region. Bivariate data analysis research using the contingency coefficient test.
 Result: The leadership style perceived by the nurse to the head of the room is democratic. The nurse's performance is in the sufficient category. The results of the bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between the leadership style of the head of the room and the performance of nurses with a p value of 0.000 with a close relationship in the strong category of 0.617.
 Conclusion: leadership style affects the performance of nurses in the inpatient room at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital.

Hospital Information System for Decision Making: A Qualitative Study

Abstract: Background: Information technology applications play a major role in improving the services provided to patients in healthcare settings. Hospital Information System HIS is expected to facilitate information management and decision making, thus enhancing patient services. Purpose of this study is to explore the obstacles that healthcare practitioners in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital faces during using HIS for decision making. Method: This research is a qualitative study. Depth-interviews were carried out with six respondents (Two Clinicians, Three Managers, and One Director), interviews were recorded and transcribed for analysis, a list of codes has produced representing themes identified in the textual data. Results: Data in the HIS were not optimal due to the insufficiency of the system in generating the necessary information for decision-making. Raw data, not real time data, unstable connection, and incomplete data between units were the most obstacles that decision makers faced. Conclusion: One of the crucial keys of a good performance of healthcare providers is hospital information system that ensures the production, analysis, and providing a reliable and timely information, making it easy for managers and doctors to make managerial and clinical decisions more effectively. Upgrading HIS to enable data analysis is suggested.

The Correlation Between Preeclampsia and the Incidence of Low Birth Weight (LBW) in Rsu PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul

MMR and IMR in the world as well as in Indonesia are still a serious problem because this figure is an indicator of national health. The common cause of infant and neonatal mortality in Bantul Regency is low birth weight (LBW). One of the factors causing LBW is maternal disease factors that are directly related to pregnancy. One of them is preeclampsia. The purpose of this study was to determine the Correlation between Preeclampsia and the Incidence of Low Birth Weight Infants (LBW) at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital in 2019. The design of this study used the correlation analytical method with a case control approach. The sampling method in this study used total sampling technique with the total sample size of the study were 174 newborns. The data collection technique used secondary data by collecting baby medical record data and maternal medical record data. The analysis technique used the chi square test. Babies who experienced LBW were as many as 87 (50%), did not experience LBW as many as 87 (50%), those who had preeclampsia were 45 (25.9%), did not experience preeclampsia as many as 129 (74.1%). The results of the study based on the chi square test showed that there was no correlation between preeclampsia and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) with p = 0.863 and an odds ratio of 0.942. The conclusion is that there is no correlation between preeclampsia and the incidence of low birth weight babies (LBW), the p value is 0.863 0.05. It is suggested that further analysis of other maternal factors on the incidence of low birth weight in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital.

Biological Factors Related to Distress of Patients with Diabetes Type-2

Objective: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between biological factors with distress of diabetes type 2.Material and Methods: The research method is quantitative correlation. Samples were taken by accidental sampling method for 3 months (November 2017-January 2018) in 44 patients who were treated at PKU Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta Hospital and PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The instruments of the study were medical records, diabetes distress scale (DDS17) questionnaire, sphygmomanometer, scales, and microtoise. Data analysis used was ordinal logistic regression.Result and Discussion: The results of the study showed 70.5% respondents were hyperglycemic; 79.5% respondents had normal total cholesterol; 45.5% respondents had normal HDL cholesterol; 52.3% respondents had normal LDL cholesterol; 63.6% respondents had normal triglycerides; 68.2% respondents had a normal BMI; 63.6% respondents had comorbidities; 50.0% respondents had complications; 72.7% respondents suffer from hypertension; and 68.2% respondents suffer from DM> 5 years. The result also showed 50.0% respondents had mild distress; 43.2% respondents had moderate distress; and 6.8% had severe distress.Conclusion: It was concluded that biological factors related to distress were comorbidities, complications, BMI and total cholesterol.International Journal of Human and Health Sciences Vol. 03 No. 04 October’19 Page : 207-217

Evaluation Of Team Compliance To Apply WHO Surgical Safety Checklist On Major Surgical Operation In Surgical Department Of PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital

Background: Procedure of major surgery at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital already has a standard from medical committee in surgical department, but there is no evaluation to assess safety related to surgical procedure. Aim: To assess surgical team compliance to apply surgical safety checklist, especially part of sign in, time out, and sign out phase at major surgery and to find strategy to minimize obstacles about implementation of surgical safety checklist in operating room of PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospial. Method: This study using sequential explanatory design. The subjects were all staffs who were work in the operating room, then nurse and doctor were assessed about surgical safety checklist including sign in, time out and sign out. Data collection was done gradually for 7 days in the surgery instalation of PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. Instrument: This study used WHO surgical safety checklist which was divided into three phases: before induction (Sign In), before the skin incision (Time Out), and before the patient leaves the operating room (Sign Out). If the procedure is not completely done then the point is 0 and if completely done the point is 1. Result: There were 30 surgery sessions in urology surgery 7 (23,33%), obgyn 6 (20%), orthopedic 2 (6,67%), oncology 3 (10%), digestive 6 (20%), and other operations 6 (20%). The lowest compliance to filling the checklis was the time of sign in 4 (13.3%) of 30 operating sessions. The lowest compliance during time out was filling the time that was only filled as much as 3 (10%), and insertion of radiology imaging that was just as much as 5 (16,7%). The lowest compliance when signed out was the time of sign out (10,0%) and post op diagnosis (16,7%). Conclusion: Surgical Safety Checklist filling either Sign In, Time Out, or Sign Out at Surgery Instalation PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital was included in less obedient criteria.

Improving Outpatient’s Quality of Life through Patient Adherence of Antihypertensive Therapy Using “Mobile Phone (SMS) and Brief Counseling‑5A” in Polyclinic of Internal Medicine at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, Yogyakarta

The Health-Related Quality of Life (HRQoL) is one of the important psycho-social characteristics that can affect patient’s ability to manage therapy. Poor of knowledge of hypertension and the changing lifestyle can affect the quality of life of patients. One of the pharmacist’s interventions in hypertension management is to conduct counseling. Motivational counseling helps health service to assess patient’s understanding and patient’s readiness to change patient’s behavior. Some counseling methods still need to be developed. Therefore, this study aims to find the influence of the brief and motivational SMS by a on the quality of life and blood pressure control in hypertension patients in the internal disease polyclinic, PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, Yogyakarta. The study has been done by using the quasi-experimental method with prospective data collection during the period of January until April 2013. Sixty patients have met inclusion criteria and were divided into two groups. Thirty patients (50%) received brief and motivational SMS as intervention group and the other thirty patients (50%) received usual care as a control group. The data collection was done by interviewing patients. Medication adherence and QoL were assessed by using Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (MMAS) and SF-36. The values of blood pressure are taken from patient’s medical records. Patient’s quality of life showed a good improvement during post study. It is shown in 8 different domains including pain, fatigue, physical function, emotional function, social function, role physical, mental health, and general health. In intervention group, physical function, emotional function, and pain showed highly significant improvement (p<0.05). Systolic and diastolic blood pressure in the intervention group decreased significantly (p<0.05) (systolic p=0.001 and diastolic p=0.018) in the post study. From this study, it is concluded that the brief counseling-5A by pharmacist and motivational SMS had a positive impact on patient’s QoL and patient’s blood pressure, hence, the therapy outcome has been achieved.

The Influence of Health Workers’ Knowledge, Attitude and Compliance on the Implementation of Standard Precautions in Preventions of Hospital-Acquired Infections at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital

Prevention of infection is a form of efforts to maintain patient safety in health services in hospitals. However, the large number of health workers with low knowledge, inappropriate attitudes and non-adherence in the implementation of standard precautions makes increase the number of infections acquired in hospitals. Analytical observational research with cross-sectional design. Knowing the knowledge, attitudes and compliance to 99 health workers consisting of nurses and midwives in the application of standard precautions in the inpatient room, intensive care unit and delivery room of PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital during July to August 2017. Data analysis using multiple logistic regression. There are three things that are assessed in the application of standard precautions namely knowledge, attitude and compliance. All aspects were assessed to have an effect on the implementation of standard precautions in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. Attitude is the most influential with p value 0,038 and OR value is 3,701. From the analysis, it is known that the percentage of all variables is 36.8% toward the implementation of standard precautions. Knowledge, Attitudes and Compliance has an effect of 36.8% on the application of standard precautions with the attitude having the greatest influence.

EFEKTIFITAS PEMBERIAN PROBIOTIK TERHADAP DURASI DIARE ANAK DI RUMAH SAKIT PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL YOGYAKARTA

Diarrhea is the second leading cause of children’s death worldwide, including in Indonesia.With regard to reducing the number of death, it is highly needed to provide a quick and accurate treatment. In clinical practice, prebiotics has been widely used as a treatment, particularly in the case of acute diarrhea in children. However, it is still not recommended by WHO. This study is aimed to determine the treatment pattern of diarrhea in children’s ward at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital and determine whether probiotic supplementation on standard therapy results a decrease in the duration of diarrhea which is better than only the standard therapy in the management of acute diarrhea in children. This study used retrospective cohort design using data from medical records with diagnose acute diarrhea or acute gastroenteritis (ICD A09). The data was collected from January to December 2014, at children’2 ward, PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, Yogyakarta. Data was divided into three groups: (i) Group I those who were treated by using standard therapeutic with rehydration and zinc, (ii). Group II those who were treated by combination of rehydration, zinc and probiotics, (iii) Group III those who were treated with rehydration and probiotics. Data duration of diarrhea as an outcome of the effectiveness of probiotics analyzed statistically to determine differences in outcomes between groups. Among the three groups, Group I, Group II and group III gained an average duration of diarrhea 66.33 (SD 21.66) hours, 55.32 (SD 19.07) hours and 54.79 (SD 17.69) hours, respectively. The statistical test shows that there is significant different from diarrhea duration among the three groups (p = 0.014). The test results between probiotic groups (II and III) and the control group is significantly different with p-value 0.018 and 0.011, respectively. While the group II and group III do not differ significantly (p = 0.898). Treatment pattern therapy of diarrhea in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital divided into three kinds of therapy. The first is rehydration therapy and zinc supplementation, the second is rehydration therapy and zinc supplementation and probiotics, the third is rehydration therapy and probiotics. Probiotic supplementation is proven effective in reducing the duration of diarrhea significantly compared to patients who were received standard therapy.

EFEKTIFITAS COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL EDUCATIONAL INTERVENTION PADA PASIEN POST TRANS URETHERAL RESECTION OF THE PROSTATE DI RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL

This research aimed to show the effectiveness cognitive behavioural educational intervention (CBEI) in post trans urethral resection of the prostate in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. The research design used Quasi-eksperiment; posttest only control group. Sample was taken by nonprobability sampling with accidental sampling method (on February-June 2015). There were 20 respondent have TURP procedure and which were divided into two groups. The t-test independent indicated a significant difference in pain respon in two groups (p=0,000). From this study, CBEI was recommended for pain management in patient with TURP.Keywords: cognitive behavioural educational intervention, pain, TURP

ANALISIS UPAYA PENINGKATAN MUTU MANAJEMEN PELAYANAN BENCANA TERHADAP KORBAN BENCANA DI RS PKU MUHAMMADIYAH BANTUL BERDASARKAN METODE QUALITY FUNCTION DEPLOYMENT (QFD)

Background: Hospitals must be well prepared and ready for any kind of disaster in both of its facilities and human resources. PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital is situated within disaster prone area. The main issues faced by the hospital are complaints from disaster victims regarding its medical services, nursing, and medical facilities. Therefore, PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital tries to make serious efforts to improve its service quality by conducting a deep analysis of patients. Method: The Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method is applied to measure the service quality improvement in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. This method mainly formulates the management’s improvement efforts based on demands. Subjects of this research were earthquake’s victims at Yogyakarta in 2006 with 30 people as the samples. Result and discussion: House of Quality analysis in QFD recommends several improvements that are required by PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital regarding medical services, nursing and other supporting facilities: 1. Medical personnel excellence training; 2. Physician competency assessment; 3. Medical personnel’s respond time; 4. The number increase of medical personnel; 5. Doctor’s procedure suitability improvement. Meanwhile, several nursing improvements also need to be taken: 1. Medical personnel’s respond time; 2. The number increase of medical personnel; 3. Medical personnel excellence training. Furthermore, supporting medical services also need improvements: 1. Re-recordkeeping hospital facilities; 2. Hygiene services assessment scheme; 3. Infrastructure improvements for disaster response. Conclusions: PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital has had preparedness of medical services, nursing and other supporting facilities for disaster management, but there was some elements that need to be improved to reach custumer satisfaction. This research was qualitative observational study, using research subjects: The Head of the medical service, 1 Officer of Emergency Installation, the head of disaster management, 1 medical doctor, 1 nurse, and 4 patients that were taken with inclusion criteria: getting inpatient class III Hospitals in Yogyakarta, have inpatient more than 1 day.&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;All the input items on the application of patient safety which include facilities, equipment, drugs, procedures, and activities of officers at Emergency Installation at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, as well as the application process is in compliance with the Guidelines of Observation Guidelines Patient Safety 2008 Survey and Guidelines for Accreditation of Hospital Emergency Services Specific Guidelines (revised edition 2007), ACT No. 44 Hospital in 2009, and patient safety procedures 2008. Patient perceived output includes five dimensions of quality (Tangible, Reliable, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy) all have the same perception of good and satisfying. Application on standard input, process and output is suit with Observation Guidelines for Patient Safety 2008 Survey and Guidelines for Accreditation of Hospital Emergency Services Specific Guidelines (revised edition 2007), ACT No. 44 Hospital in 2009, and patient safety procedures 2008.

This research was qualitative observational study, using research subjects: The Head of the medical service, 1 Officer of Emergency Installation, the head of disaster management, 1 medical doctor, 1 nurse, and 4 patients that were taken with inclusion criteria: getting inpatient class III Hospitals in Yogyakarta, have inpatient more than 1 day.&lt;strong&gt; &lt;/strong&gt;All the input items on the application of patient safety which include facilities, equipment, drugs, procedures, and activities of officers at Emergency Installation at PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital, as well as the application process is in compliance with the Guidelines of Observation Guidelines Patient Safety 2008 Survey and Guidelines for Accreditation of Hospital Emergency Services Specific Guidelines (revised edition 2007), ACT No. 44 Hospital in 2009, and patient safety procedures 2008. Patient perceived output includes five dimensions of quality (Tangible, Reliable, Responsiveness, Assurance and Empathy) all have the same perception of good and satisfying. Application on standard input, process and output is suit with Observation Guidelines for Patient Safety 2008 Survey and Guidelines for Accreditation of Hospital Emergency Services Specific Guidelines (revised edition 2007), ACT No. 44 Hospital in 2009, and patient safety procedures 2008.

IMPORTANCE- PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS IN PHARMACY DEPARTEMENT OF PKU MUHAMMADIYYAH HOSPITAL, BANTUL (ACCORDING TO OUTPATIENTS PERCEPTION)

Hospitals which are engaged in services, not only serve the sick people but must also consider aspects of customerssatisfaction. This research aims to determine whether it is the characteristic of patient that causing significant differenceon their satisfaction, to determine service attribute which require attention in order to service improvement towardscustomers, and to determine the gap between service quality with patient satisfaction in Pharmacy Department PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul hospital from the dimensions of SERVQUAL: reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and tangible.The research was designed by non experimental methods. Samples of this research are customers or families ofpatiens or outpatients taking drug at Pharmacy Department PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul hospital. Conveniencesampling is used as sampling method with number of samples 100 persons. Questioners are used as data collectionmethod taken on August 2009.The results showed that there is no significant difference between patient characteristic on patient satisfactionin Pharmacy Department PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul hospital. Attributes that become top priority to improvingservice quality are the friendliness and courtesy of employee, quick to follow up issues, and availability of thenumber and types of drugs. There are gaps in most of the service quality attributes in Pharmacy Department PKUMuhammadiyah Bantul hospital. The biggest gap is drug delivery information, employee knowledge, and patienslead time. Analisa Faktor Penentu Tingkat Kepuasan Pasien Di Rumah Sakit Pku Muhammadiyah Bantul

Growing of emulation between hospitals that is increasingly tight and sharply, hence every hospital claimed to heighten competitiveness by trying gives satisfaction to all the patients. For the purpose must be known factors which influencing level of satisfaction of the patient. And is a real thing necessary for we to know what which patient we require to fulfill their satisfaction to services which we give. This research aim to know factors determining satisfaction of patient takes care of lodging and installation of emergency, also knows is there is difference of determinant level of satisfaction between patients takes care of lodging, and installation of emergency. This research done in PKU Muhammadiyah Bantul Hospital. This research applies cross sectional research planning. Sampling method in this research is systematic random sampling.Instrument of research applied is questionair, containing patient characteristic, satisfaction determinant factors of patient, as well as satisfaction of patient. Analysis by using SPSS for windows15. Result show that determinant level of satisfaction most importantly in determining level of satisfaction of responder takes care of lodging and installation of emergency is factor reliability. Determinant level of satisfaction of patient to take care of lodging sorted from most importantly is, reliability, assurance, accessibility, responsiveness, tangible, and last of empathy. Determinant level of satisfaction of patient for IGD sorted from most importantly is, reliability, tangible, responsiveness, accessibility, assurance, and last, empathy. For takes care of lodging responder, men gender, age more than 25 years old, lower education or SMA, and production of Rp.799.999 or less, tends to satisfying to Hospital service, but it doesn't have a meaning statistically. For installation responder of Emergency, men gender, age more than 25 years old, higher education from SMA, and production more than Rp. 799999,- tends to satisfying to Hospital service, but it doesn't have a meaning statistically.
