Neitronnoe rasseyanie i issledovaniya po fizike tverdogo tela v PIYaF

Perfect crystal neutron interferometer set up at BENSC and first experimental results

A new neutron interferometer set-up which has been installed at Berlin Neutron Scattering Centre of the HahnMeitner-Institut (HMI), in the framework of a cooperation between the St. Petersburg Nuclear Physics Institute and HMI is described. The results of the first experiments aimed at high-accuracy measurement of the coherent scattering lengths of heavy nuclei ( 208Pb and Bi) are presented.
