Hadronic and photonic production of doubly flavored baryons

We consider the production of baryons containing two heavy quarks via gluon-gluon, photongluon and photon-photon fusion processes in the framework of nonrelativistic heavy quark model and perturbative chromodynamics. We calculate the corresponding cross sections for pp, ep and γγ collisions at the energies of present and future colliders and analyse the uncertainties of theoretical estimations.

We consider the production of pairs of ${B}_{c}$ and ${B}_{c}^{*}$ mesons via gluon-gluon and photon-photon fusion processes in the framework of the nonrelativistic color singlet model and perturbative chromodynamics. We calculate the corresponding cross sections for pp and \ensuremath{\gamma}\ensuremath{\gamma} collisions at the energies of present and future colliders and discuss the characteristics of the production mechanisms. We analyze the uncertainties of theoretical estimations.

We compute the strong interaction corrections to the polarized photon structure functions using perturbative chromodynamics. The results agree with those of our previous calculations with the operator product expansion method.

A study of the polarized photon structure functions is made using the operator product expansion in the framework of perturbative chromodynamics. The non-spin-flip function is corrected as in the unpolarized case but the spin-flip function is unchanged.
