For many years, the team of the well-known in Ukraine and the world scientific and coordination and methodical Center for bioenergy resources and beet growing - the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (IBKiCB) - has been consistently paving the way for a new domestic bioenergy industry. And it's no secret: the Institute owes its successes and historically high reputation to the fact that its laboratories and the State Tax Service have gathered the truly "golden" personnel potential of the state - a whole constellation of scientists, managers and specialists known outside of Ukraine, who are able to perform the most difficult tasks of development industry. Investigated: the training of highly qualified scientific personnel - creators of future discoveries and the latest technologies for growing and processing agricultural plants. The Institute still today pays daily attention through an organic combination of theoretical (fundamental) research with comprehensive testing in production conditions, which is accompanied by their wide promotion and active implementation in production and the use of various methods and means of work, such as: publication of scientific achievements in monographs, magazines, collections of scientific works, issues of recommendations on specific problems, conducting scientific seminars, including in field conditions and Internet sites, participation in the organization and conduct of lecture courses and many other activities. In particular, the year 2023 and the beginning of 2024 turned out to be productive in terms of the training of highly qualified scientific personnel. During this time, the Institute of Bioenergy Crops and Sugar Beet of the National Academy of Sciences conducted 14 successful defenses of theses for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 20 "Agrarian Sciences and Food" in the specialties: "201 Agronomy" and "202 Plant Protection and Quarantine". As you can see, even in wartime, the organizational strengthening and expansion of the innovative foundation of bioenergy continues. That is, for the sake of victory, the training of scientific personnel for the industry remains an urgent and extremely necessary task. And that's understandable. After all, thanks to the efforts of talented young scientists, Ukraine will be able to achieve energy security by significantly reducing dependence on imported energy sources, and will also make a significant contribution to the development of renewable energy and environmental protection.
