Evaluation of Disability Perspective in the Context of Turkish Television Series Broadcast After 2010

The media in general and television series, in particular, are influential on the mentality of the society. It is known that media have an undeniable influence on almost all of society. In this study, which was conducted between 05.11.2021 and 01.06.2022, the effect of some television series published after 2010 on the social disability phenomenon was examined. In the examinations, theoretically, the evaluation of the sequences was made by taking Goffman's Stigma theorem to the center. In this evaluation, it was examined how they included disabled characters in roles inspired by real life. Although there is the fact that the roles in the TV series can be different from real life, it has been observed that Turkish television viewers are influenced by these roles in the TV series and match them with their own lives. The study was carried out using the qualitative research method. Content analysis method was used as a research design for the evaluation made in the context of Turkish television series in the research. As samples, the TV series Çukur, Camdaki Kız, Güllerin Savaşı, Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki, Leyla ile Mecnun were chosen. In the selection of the series, the viewing rates, the presence of the disabled character, and the publication after 2010taken into account. Based on the findings, it has been determined that the view of the television series towards the disabled is problematic. Disabled characters have fewer scenes in the series than other actors. And disabled characters are in supporting roles. When we look at the TV series that are the subject of the study in detail, it is seen that the disabled character, who is shown to be very weak mentally or physically, was removed after a few episodes by either committing suicide or being killed. In all the series, the disabled character is male, and there are no female disabled characters. However, it is known that there are male and female disabled persons in our society. At this point, no gender difference is observed. At the same time, the disabled male character in the series is shown emotionally alone and needy. The woman with whom the disabled character falls in love in the TV series Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki not in love with the disabled character but with her brother, who is shown to be healthy and strong in the series. The disabled character, which is often shown in the middle of complex relationships, can be understood as someone who is alone and therefore has a mental problem. On the other hand, the scenes of disabled characters in the TV series Çukur, Camdaki Kız, Güllerin Savaşı, Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman Ki, Leyla ile Mecnun are less than those of physically healthy characters. This situation shows that disabled individuals are represented in the media in a way that may cause false inferences and with less roles than healthy individuals. It is thought that these situations pave the way for the audience to perceive or evaluate disability differently and for the negative aspects that may occur in the social view of the disabled.

Combined effect of physical training and isometric stretching on selected anthropometric variable among elite college level sportsperson

The purpose of the present study was to investigate the combined effect of physical training and isometric stretching on calf circumference among elite college level sportsperson. To achieve the purpose of the study thirty college level male sports person were selected from Alagappa University, Tamilnadu, India during the year 2022. The subject’s age ranges from 21 to 25 years. The selected sports men were divided into two equal groups consists of 15 sportsmen each namely experimental group and control group. The experimental group underwent a combined physical training and isometric stretching for eight weeks. The control group was not taking part in any training during the course of the study. Calf circumference was taken as criterion variable in this study. The selected subjects were tested on calf circumference was measured through steel tap. Pre-test was taken before the training period and post- test was measured immediately after the six week training period. Statistical technique‘t’ ratio was used to analyse the means of the pre-test and post test data of experimental group and control group. The results revealed that there was a significant difference found on the criterion variable.

The experiences of clinical psychologists in treating traumatic stress at a tertiary psychiatric hospital in the Eastern Cape: A qualitative study.

BackgroundQualitative data on the experiences of treating post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in a psychiatric setting in a low-resource context is sparse.AimThe authors aimed to explore the lived experiences of clinical psychologists who treat patients who are either trauma survivors or perpetrators in a psychiatric hospital.SettingA public psychiatric hospital in the Eastern Cape, South Africa.MethodA total of six individual semi-structured interviews were conducted with three clinical psychologists. Data were analysed using interpretive phenomenological analysis (IPA).ResultsThe analysis for each participant identified several significant themes, namely (1) support as a male person, (2) being appreciative, (3) difficult trauma narratives, (4) a mother and a psychologist and (5) fear and hopelessness.ConclusionTreating traumatic stress amongst clinical psychologists working in a public psychiatric hospital can lead to experiences of vicarious trauma and traumatic stress. In addition, the participants experienced an added danger in treating high-risk state patients, exposing psychologists to traumatic stress. Furthermore, psychologists recognised the influence of gender and race and its impact on their roles in their personal and professional lives as practitioners treating traumatic stress.

Mapping Colombians’ positions on sentencing for substance offenses

BackgroundIn Colombia, a person caught in possession of an illicit substance is not judicially sanctioned as long as the quantity does not exceed the maximum allowable amounts. Given that the public is divided on the appropriateness of this policy, an examination of the various public positions was undertaken.MethodA convenience sample of 302 adults were presented with 48 vignettes depicting a situation of everyday life easily recognizable by all in Colombia; that of a male person who is apprehended in the street by the police because he is suspected of illicit trafficking. These vignettes were created by orthogonal variation of four factors: Type of substance, amount of substance, type of charge against the offender, and offender’s age.ResultsThrough cluster analysis, six qualitatively different positions were found. These positions corresponded to three distinct, classical philosophies (a) a libertarian, free-market philosophy – punishment should never be extremely severe because the trade in psychotropic substances is a trade like any other (6%), (b) a moralistic, conservative philosophy – punishment should always be extremely severe except perhaps in certain cases (52%), and (c) a progressive, human rights-inspired philosophy – punishment should always be proportional to the seriousness of the facts (42%).ConclusionHalf of Colombian people supported a control policy according to which the use of psychotropic substances is considered profoundly immoral. Most of the other segment of the population express views similar to those of international organizations. It is therefore desirable that legislators rely on progressive international legislation to support domestic policies that are not strictly moralistic and conservative.

Nursing Care Offered to A Teenager at Risk of Gender Dysphoria and Suicide: A Community Mental Health and Public Health Nursing Approach

Young people who are gender dysphoria are often at risk for certain psychosocial problems as well as being victims of discrimination and stigmatization. Such problems include issues such as social isolation, social withdrawal, loneliness, dropping out of school, tendency to crime, substance abuse, and being subject to violence. It is thought that all these problems are especially important in personal and social lives of young people living in societies where traditional gender roles have been conserved. In this study, it was aimed to offer holistic nursing care interventions to a 17-year-old male person who stated that he had wanted to commit suicide and been subject to homophobic attitudes because of the confusion about his gender.

Expression analysis of Wnt signaling pathway related lncRNAs in periodontitis: A pilot case-control study

LncRNAs are involved in the modulation of several signaling pathways which have a crucial effect in the differentiation of periodontal ligament cells and the induction of cementum regeneration. Autophagy and Wnt signaling are two important pathways with a wide range of interrelationships associated with periodontitis. We chose four lncRNAs based on their potential interaction with these two pathways. We examined the expression of FOXD2-AS1, NNT-AS1, GAS8-AS1, and CCAT1 lncRNAs in tissues and blood specimens of patients with periodontitis and unaffected controls using qRT-PCR. Expression amounts of FOXD2-AS1 were lower in blood of cases compared with controls (relative expression (RE) = 0.08, P value<0.001). Tissue expression of FOXD2-AS1 was similar between cases and controls. Difference in blood levels of FOXD2-AS1 was significant among female subjects (RE = 0.07, P-value = 0.01), but not among male subjects. In addition, we reported lower levels of NNT-AS1 in blood samples of cases versus controls (RE = 0.25, P value = 0.05). But such a pattern was not seen in tissue samples. Expression of GAS8-AS1 was lower in both tissue and blood specimens of patients compared with control (RE = 0.49, P value = 0.02 and RE = 0.32, P value = 0.03 for tissue and blood specimens, respectively). Moreover, the differences in blood expression of GAS8-AS1 were significant in female patients compared with female controls (RE = 0.25, P-value = 0.04). Expression of CCAT1 was significantly lower in both gingival tissue and blood samples of patients compared with control (RE for tissue samples = 0.36, P-value = 0.02 and RE for blood samples = 0.33, P-value = 0.02). This pattern of expression was also detected in tissue specimens obtained from male persons (RE = 0.23, P value = 0.02) and blood samples acquired from female patients compared with corresponding control samples (RE = 0.21, P value<0.001). FOXD2-AS1 showed the best AUC values for distinguishing periodontitis in blood samples (AUC = 0.78). Combination of transcript levels of all four lncRNAs increased the diagnostic power to 0.81 and 0.74 in the gingival tissues and blood specimens, respectively. Our study demonstrates dysregulation of several lncRNAs in the periodontitis. These transcripts might partake in the pathogenesis of periodontitis and could have a possible correlation with autophagy and Wnt signaling pathways.

Name matters! The cost of having a foreign-sounding name in the Swedish private housing market.

Both immigration and a troubling housing deficit have increased rapidly in Sweden over the past 20 years. In this internet-based field experiment, we investigated whether there exists discrimination in the Swedish private rental housing market based on the names of apartment seekers. We used a correspondent test by randomly submitting equivalent applications from four fictitious, highly educated, and seemingly “well-behaved” male applicants in response to a number of randomly selected private housing ads. Each advertising landlord received applications from two applicants with names signaling Swedish, Arab/Muslim, Eastern European, or East Asian ethnicity. Our results show that the person with a name associated with the dominant ethnic group received most callbacks from the landlords, while the persons with Eastern European- and East Asian sounding names, and especially the Arab/Muslim-sounding name, yielded significantly lower callback rates. Moreover, each applicant’s callback rates are about the same regardless of whom he was paired with, reinforcing our result that a person’s name clearly matters when applying for an apartment. The comparisons with previous discrimination research focusing on the Swedish housing market show that the situation for a male person with an Arabic/Muslim-sounding name has at least not improved in Sweden in the past decade.

Analysis of male persons did slightly more infected than female persons with COVID-19

The Z-test is a hypothesis testing tool that can be used to detect whether a mean result for large population is statistically significant the population is normal distribution. It is a statistic based approach which is used to identify whether we canapproximated the given distribution by a distribution which isnormal. It is used to identify whether means of twosamples are approximately the identical or different. It is useful when the size of the sample is large (should be &gt;= 30).In this paper we apply Z- test on large covid-19 infected population for Indore city. From the large population covid-19 infected population it is difficult to check and identify that how many male and how many female persons are infected. Large numbers of tests are conducted for suspected male and female person for covid-19. There are so many statistical tools are available to analysis the data set but it is difficult to select tool. Using Z test we want check that Male persons did slightly more infected than female Persons with Covid-19. We calculate test statistics and values of Z and compare it with standard normal distribution for Z value. We used random sample size for both male and female persons.

People in West Java uphold harmony and peace as an important part of their worldview. Yet, violence against women continues to occur, including in rural areas. This qualitative research using a case study design was conducted to explore and describe the cases of violence against women and the factors contributing to the case in Desa Selaras, a small village in rural West Java. The data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews with female violence survivors and NGO activists who assist them; as well as archival and literature studies. The findings of this research suggest the various types of violence against women, such as psychological violence (polygamy), physical violence (persecution), economic violence (economic exploitation and financial neglect), and sexual violence. Among the factors contributing to the violence in the village were gender inequality, financial problems, lack of knowledge and passive attitudes towards violence among the survivors, cultural values about women, lack of communication in the family, and male personality.

Sex stratification of the trends and risk of mortality among individuals living with HIV under different transmission categories

We retrospectively examined 33,142 persons living with HIV (PLWH) in Taiwan from a nationwide database to assess sex-stratified trends and risk of all-cause mortality under different transmission categories from 1984 to 2016. Overall, 61.25% were men who have sex with men (MSM), 14.37% were men who have sex with women (MSW), 18.32% were male persons who inject drugs (M-PWID), 3.30% were women who have sex with men (WSM), and 2.74% were female PWID (F-PWID). All-cause mortality (per 100 person-years) among heterosexual people and PWID was higher in men (4.04 and 3.39, respectively) than in women (2.93 and 2.18, respectively). In each sex-stratified transmission category, the all-cause mortality reduced substantially from 1984–1996 to 2012–2016, but evolved distinctly from 2007–2011 to 2012–2016. Since 2007–2011, the decline in all-cause mortality has slowed notably in the groups with sexually transmitted HIV, but has increased in PWID, surpassing even that among groups with sexually transmitted HIV in 2012–2016. PLWH with sexually transmitted HIV had lower risks of all-cause mortality than PWID, regardless of sex. Sex and transmission category did not interact significantly on all-cause mortality. Understanding the reasons for the distinct evolving trends of all-cause mortality in each transmission category serves as a reference for developing strategies to reduce mortality in PLWH in Taiwan further.

Female Java sparrows prefer high exploratory males without assortative mating

A major challenge in behavior and evolutionary ecology is to understand the evolution and maintenance of animal personality. Theory suggests that females can benefit by choosing a high-quality mate, but largely ignores the potential interaction between male and female personality during mate choice. Here, we examined the influence of exploration on mate choice by captive female Java sparrows (Lonchura oryzivora). Females preferred high exploratory males as mates rather than choosing mates according to their own exploration, and thus showed no assortative mating. Our results highlight the role of exploration of males in the mate preference of birds and suggest that mate compatibility plays minor role in the mate preference.

CT-Guided FNAC of Lung Lesions and Cytological Sub-Classification of Bronchogenic Carcinoma of 246 cases at a Tertiary Care Hospital

Background: CT-guided fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) is a useful tool for evaluating lung nodules or masses. In view of the relative paucity of published studies regionally, this study was undertaken in the Department of Pathology, Enam Medical College &amp; Hospital to see the use of the technique. Materials and Methods: Two forty six CT guided lung FNACs were performed during January 2017 to December 2018 and cytological diagnoses were made. Reported results and relevant data were recorded in the data sheet and then analyzed by standard statistical method. Results: Total number of cases were 246. Adequate samples were obtained in 228 (92.68%) cases, among the adequate samples 135 (59.41%) were malignant, and 93 (40.49%) were benign or nonmalignant lesions. Among the benign lesions, lung abscess (36;38.70%) was the most common followed by pulmonary TB (27;29.03%). Adenocarcinoma (54;40%) was the most common type of bronchogenic carcinoma followed by squamous cell carcinoma (51;37.78%), small cell carcinoma (21;15.56%), NHL (6;4.44%) and large cell undifferentiated carcinoma (3;2.22%). In male persons, squamous cell carcinoma (42.85%) was the most common type of bronchogenic carcinoma, followed by adenocarcinoma (34.29%). In female, adenocarcinoma was the most common type (18;60%) of bronchogenic carcinoma, followed by squamous cell carcinoma (6;20%). Conclusion: FNAC is a safe method for the evaluation of lung nodules and it enables sub-classification of bronchogenic carcinoma in the vast majority of cases. Out of it flows the ethical injunctions of beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice. As a graduating physician, I did not fully comprehend the sophistication of this age-old oath. It was easy enough to understand that the goal of treatment was to make patients better and cause no harm. But what exactly is “justice” in the field of medicine? Some have understood it to mean equitable distribution of available resources while providing care for our patients. Or being just or fair in the treatment of patients.Physicians are quick to state that their actions in therapeutic contexts are in the best interest of their patients, and they try their best to avoid harm. Physicians cannot, however, lay the same claim to justice. African Americans and other people of color have often borne the brunt of unjust physician practices. The COVID-19 pandemic exposed what has historically been the experience of people of color—that is, White patients are prioritized over Black patients. There were reports that Black patients did not have widespread access to COVID tests and were passed over for being placed on a ventilator or an EMCO despite having similar clinical presentations. In psychiatry, Black patients are more likely to be diagnosed with a psychotic illness even when the symptoms suggest otherwise, given intramuscular antipsychotic medications, and mechanically restrained, to mention only a few inequities, than their White peers.The public and gruesome killing of George Floyd and subsequent global protests led to a long-delayed awakening. Suddenly physician groups began to profess an awareness of the inherent injustice of the U.S. health care system and of their historical maltreatment of their non-White physician colleagues. Dr. Jeffrey Geller, former president of APA, convened the Task Force on Structural Racism Throughout Psychiatry to study the issue in depth, educate the public, and make amends. The APA Ethics Committee gave an opinion thus: “To provide competent care, a psychiatrist should cultivate an awareness of the adverse effects on mental health that result from racism and ethnoracial discrimination. … A treating psychiatrist should be mindful of the impact that racism and ethnoracial and other kinds of discrimination may have in the lives of patients and their families, in clinical encounters, and in the development of mental health services. ...”Despite the apparent awakening, psychiatry residents’ training on social (health care) justice remains sorely lacking. Concerned by this reality in their residency programs, several APA/APAF fellows took on the challenge and, under the auspices of the task force’s Workgroup on Fellow Projects and Leadership, created “A Primer of Online Resources on Structural Racism in Psychiatry for Medical Students & Trainees in Psychiatry.”The effort to educate our residents will flounder without sustained attention at developing a formal and structured educational process in residency programs. Equal attention should be placed on training faculty, not just faculty of color, to teach this material. Combating injustice in our health care system requires all hands to be on deck. Future physicians and psychiatrists—and their patients—deserve no less. Antibody Responses to COVID-19 Vaccination in Left Ventricular Assist Devices

PurposeLeft ventricular assist device (LVAD) implantation is associated with immune dysregulation and common occurrence of major infections. Whether humoral responses to COVID-19 vaccination are protective and durable in LVAD patients is uncertain.MethodsWe conducted a prospective single-center cohort study in LVAD patients without prior COVID-19 infection, who received 2 doses of BNT162b2 (Pfizer) or mRNA-1273 (Moderna) or 1 dose of Ad26.COV2.S (J&J) COVID-19 vaccines. Serologic testing was performed at 3, 6, and 9 months after COVID-19 vaccination using the Roche Elecsys anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike enzyme immunoassay (range <0.4 to >2500 U/mL [positive ≥0.8]), which tests for antibodies against the spike protein's receptor-binding domain (RBD).ResultsIn March 2021, 45 LVAD patients (80% HeartMate 3) were enrolled and 24 (53%) received Pfizer vaccines, 17 (38%) Moderna, and 4 (9%) J&J at a median duration of LVAD support of 34 months (1-114). Most were male (89%) and white non-Hispanic (71%) persons with median age 62 years (23-78); 26 (58%) had diabetes, 16 (36%) had chronic kidney disease (CKD), and 3 (7%) were on immunosuppressive medications. Median absolute lymphocyte count (ALC) at the time of their vaccine was 1.26 K/uL (0.54-3.41). All patients developed a detectable anti-RBD antibody after vaccination, which began to wane after 3 months. The median anti-RBD IgG titers were 1132 U/mL, 360 U/mL, and 286 U/mL at 3, 6, and 9 months, respectively, post-vaccination (Figure). Age > 60 years, ALC < 1.5 K/uL, and history of CKD were associated with lower median anti-RBD IgG titers at 3, 6, and 9 months. Moderna vaccine recipients had the highest and J&J the lowest anti-RBD IgG titers at 3-months. In the 9-month study period, there were no vaccine-related serious adverse events or breakthrough COVID-19 infections.ConclusionLVAD patients exhibit a robust humoral response to COVID-19 vaccination without breakthrough infection. Further research to evaluate cellular responses to COVID-19 vaccination in LVAD patients is warranted.

An Opinion Survey about Public Perception Regarding Transgender People in Pakistan

The present study strived to explore the existing beliefs and perceptions of public regarding transgender people in Pakistani society. The major objectives of this study were to explore the perception of the general public about transgender and how they differentiate among men, women, and transgender people. The present study was quantitative survey research. By using simple random, 50 respondents were interviewed,followed by an interview schedule. The gathered data were processed and analyzed in descriptive manners. The study revealed that (100 Percent) of the respondents were familiar with transgender people as (82 Percent) met transgender in the street/roadside while beggaring. The present study also revealed that (78 Percent) of respondents perceived transgender as an in-between creature as they differentiated that transgender is male persons who adopted this disguise for attaining sexual attractions by other male persons/purposes (60 Percent). It was also suggested that transgender should be given education, healthcare, and employment opportunities (100 Percent).

Seroprevalence of Diphtheria IgG Antibody in Relation with Socio-demographic Change at a Tertiary Care Hospital in Bangladesh

Background: Seroprevalance of diphtheria antibody may vary in different socioeconomic people.&#x0D; Objective: The purpose of the present study was to determine the seroprevalence of diphtheria IgG antibody and to identify the relationship between diphtheria seroprevalence and several sociodemographic characteristics.&#x0D; Methodology: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the Department of Microbiology at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, Sylhet, Bangladesh from July 2016 to June 2017 for duration of one year. Apparently healthy individuals were enrolled in this study as study population by following a set of inclusion and exclusion criteria. For laboratory procedure, anti-diphtheria antibody titer was measured by ELISA method.&#x0D; Result: A total number of 200 healthy individuals were recruited for this study. The mean serum IgG level was 0.23±0.26 IU/mL in participants of aged between 18 to 25 years which was much lesser in participants of aged between 26 to 32 years and 33 to 38 years group (p=0.001). Mean serum IgG level was 0.12±0.12 IU/mL in male participants. Majority participants have been come from lower middle class having mean serum IgG level of 0.10±0.21 IU/mL.&#x0D; Conclusion: In conclusion diphtheria IgG level is most commonly found among young male adult person in upper middle class socioecomonic condition.&#x0D; Journal of National Institute of Neurosciences Bangladesh, July 2021, Vol. 7, No. 2, pp. 156-160

Hair Colour Stereotypes in Croatian Language Corpora

The paper shows how hair colour stereotypes are reflected in two Croatian language corpora: the Croatian Language Corpus hrWaC and the Croatian Language Repository. Both were searched with the Sketch Engine corpus tool, utilizing the word sketches function, which shows the information on the most common collocations in which a lemma occurs. Synonymous words denoting female and male persons with fair, brown, black, ginger, or red hair were explored. The following hypotheses were confirmed or partially confirmed: women are more often defined by hair colour than men; more synonyms denote a female person of a particular hair colour than a male person; some synonyms appear in contexts suggesting stereotypes more often than others; in the formation of words especially denoting female persons of particular hair colour, some word-formation models are used to form pejorative and depreciative words and (by onymisation) animal names; and the adjectives pravi (‘real’), jedan (‘one’), and običan (‘ordinary’) serve as focus markers and suggest expressions reflecting stereotypes. Based on the conducted collocation and word-formation analysis, it is concluded that the collocations and word-formation models associated with hair colour words suggest various extralinguistic data, including the social status of women.

The article presents little-known documents and evidences, concerning the early biography of Olga Nikolaevna Chyumina (1858 –1909) — a poet, a writer, a translator — including ego-documents. The author of the article observes the peculiarities of her relations with modernist writers and her literary position, expressed largely in opposition to modernists. Despite the fact that nowadays Chyumina is almost forgotten, at the turn of the 20th century she was a famous writer who achieved both the attention of critics and high fees. The article examines the beginning of her creative career, the relationship with the critic V.P. Burenin, the first publications dedicated to the memory of General M.D. Skobelev. The author quotes from letters stored in archives, in which Chyumina writes about herself and subjects the role and place of women in literature to reflection. Chyumina wrote from a male person before women writers of the modern era began to resort to this technique. Critics have noted this feature, at the same time in the reviews she was advised not to raise serious topics, which corresponds to the traditional attitude towards women writers. In the second book of poems, Chyumina seems to have found exactly her voice, but the rapid development of new trends pushed this figure into the background.

GENDER NARRATIVES IN THE MASS MEDIA:FEMINITIVES vs MASCULINATIVES

The article describes the trendsin the use of feminitives and masculinatives in media discourse in view of their lexical-semantic and formal-grammatical properties in the context of observing gender-correct speech.The application of the descriptive method made it possible to characterize the formal-grammatical and lexical-semantic properties of feminine and masculine forms; 2) the analysis of dictionary definitions contributed to the establishment of lexical-semantic groups of representatives of social gender in the language of mass media; 3) the modeling method made it possible to determine the lexical-grammatical models of verbalizers of social gender; 4) the contextual-interpretive method made it possible to reveal stereotypical tendencies in the functioning of feminitives and masculinatives.A means of achieving gender-correct communication is gender-sensitive speech -the use of language resources, in particular, feminine vocabulary to designate women by occupation or profession, with the aim of avoiding gender discrimination in media speech in particular. The Ukrainian language has a significant potential for maintaining gender-correct speech: gender lexemes represented by masculine or feminine grammes; bigender -from a grammatical point of view, split into two generic forms, devoid of immanent signs of femininity / masculinity, but able to name both female and male persons by type of activity or profession; agender, which are characterized by the systematic independence of gender characteristics from the grammatical gender, can be expressed by any gender grammes.In the mass media discourse, there is a tendency to activate feminisms, which is a vivid manifestation of the language policy aimed at expanding this lexical-semantic group, establishing a gender culture in the language. At the same time, the use of feminitives in the language of mass media has not become systematic: there are lexical gaps in the names of women's professions, gender asymmetry (grammatical and semantic), which are explained by the situational-pragmatic use of bigender and agender tokens as names of women according to their social roles; there are manifestations of stereotypical ideas about the social roles of men and women.
