Socialization of Anti-Hoax Strategy for the Success of the 2024 Election in Desa Kesiman Petilan

General elections have become a worldwide phenomenon, where elections are the best way to ensure a peaceful transition of power because elections are a big national party that includes all people who have been registered as permanent voters, during the preparation period there are often hoax news about campaigns. This is because people still cannot distinguish what is true and what is not. The purpose of this community service is to try to invite all generations to help provide Anti-Hoax Strategy Socialization in the success of the 2024 Kesiman Petilan Village Election. The method used is an active participation method, especially socialization, socialization is a communication process carried out with active participation from two parties. This socialization provides an understanding to the people of Kesiman Petilan Village about the importance of conducting elections and reminds people to be more careful in using social media so as not to easily believe in hoax news. The results and conclusions of this socialization have made the public more aware of news spread on social media whose truth is not yet known, and the public has also become more participating in the 2024 election activities.

Bimbingan Teknis Penyusunan Daftar Pemilih Bagi PPS Dalam Menghadapi Pemilu 2024 Di Kecamatan Lasalimu Selatan

It is important to remember that the fact that there are many people who have not registered on the Permanent Voters List (DPT) indicates that the quality of the voters list is low. Conversely, the fact that fewer voters are not registered on the DPT indicates that the quality of the voters list is better, even though it is not categorised as good. So that in facing the 2024 Election, it is necessary to ensure readiness in its implementation, one of which is by conducting Technical Guidance for officers who are directly related as the spearhead of the validity of Voter data. The methods used are lectures and discussions, the results obtained from PKM are that officers get information and knowledge in updating voter data so that problems that often occur in organising elections do not recur.

An Assessment of the Impact of EFCC in Curbing Vote Buying in Nigeria

This paper is an assessment of the performance of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on the fight against vote buying in the Nigerian elections. Vote buying is a major problem in the Nigerian electoral system. The phenomenon reached an epidemic level in 2019 when the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) introduced a level of digitalization of the electoral process through the use of permanent voters' card and card reader machines in the Nigerian electoral system. The introduction of card reader machines and permanent voters’ cards reduced the incidences of electoral infractions like 'results writing' and 'impersonation' because the voters are expected to confirm their identities at the polling booths through the authentication of card reader machines. This technological innovation by INEC made the political class to concentrate more on vote buying. The paper shows that EFCC has not been effective in carrying out its duty as the government agency that has the legal responsibility of curbing vote buying in Nigeria.

Political Participation and Socioeconomic Status (SES) the Governor Election in Kepulauan Riau

Political participation is an individual activity that may affect a country's or government's political policy. Political participation in democracy takes many forms, such as voting, establishing a political group, engaging in legal or illegal protests, campaign involvement, discussing politics offline or online, or becoming a political party member. The term political participation in this study refers to voting participation. Voter participation is important because it creates a political and democratic climate that encourages people to participate actively in state administration. To determine strategies and policies to increase voter participation, what factors can influence someone to vote can be seen. One factor that influences a person's desire to participate in politics is a person's socioeconomic status. Therefore, this study examines how Socioeconomic Status (SES) influences political participation. Political participation in this study is seen from whether the permanent voters (DPT) exercise their right to vote in the 2020 gubernatorial election. The SES consists of socioeconomic status, which is seen from: demographic background (social status, including age, ethnicity, educational background, and religion); economic status of the average income of voters per month. Krejcie Morgan sampling method, 384 respondents were processed with Eviews 11 software using logit regression model analysis. This study found three variables significantly affect the dependent variable: Ethnic, residential election participation, and trust level in the candidate. This study recommends that the strategies used in the efforts to enhance political participation of the Riau Islands community in the regional head election are: forming volunteers democracy, dividing four segments of socialization, improving the quality of the organizing committee resources by conducting technical guidance, aggressively achieving political socialization, political publications, and the delivery of the stages of the elections using various social media platform. Moreover, implementing Good Governance will produce output from society's most economical market mechanisms. Thus, it is expected that people's political awareness will be enhanced.

Web-based Muhammadiyah E-voting Application Using the Laravel Framework

Electronic voting is a form of voting that is often used for elections using electronic systems. However, at the time of implementation there was a lot of fraud that only intended for one of the parties. Therefore, a Web-Based Muhammadiyah Association E-Voting Application was created using the Laravel Framework. There is no need to use nails because the DPT (Permanent Voters List) only needs to touch the screen to vote for the elected candidate. This application uses the RFID technology feature to start voting, so that there are no more double votes from the same voter The results of the recapitulation will periodically change according to the number of votes that have been collected and stored in the database. So it is already necessary to calculate manually when the event ends. The results of the votes are automatically counted and processed by the program quickly and efficiently.

Law, Money Politics, and Public Preferences in Choosing Regional Head Candidates in Ternate City, Indonesia

In Indonesia, there are still people who are registered as permanent voters but have not exercised their voting rights. This study aims to analyze people's preferences in the implementation of simultaneous regional head elections in Ternate City, as well as the efforts made by the General Election Supervisory Agency to suppress the practice of money politics in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections in Ternate City. This research used the anthropological approach which studied the behavior or preferences of society during the simultaneous election of regional heads in Ternate City. This study used a sociological research method, where the author carried out direct observations or research in the field to obtain accurate data to answer the research problems. Results showed that voters in Ternate City tend to become irrational voters during simultaneous regional head elections and most respondents (40%) stated that they chose candidate pairs based on cash compensation, projects, and positions. Then, the General Election Supervisory Agency makes efforts to suppress money politics in the 2014 Simultaneous Regional Head Election in Ternate City by applying the participatory monitoring movement.

The Effectiveness of Recess Activities for Members of the Pandeglang DPRD in Absorbing Proposed Infrastructure Development Programs

The purpose of the study was to determine how much effectiveness the recess activities of members of the Pandeglang DPRD in absorbing the proposed infrastructure development program in Dapil 2 Pandeglang Regency. The theory of effectiveness according to Gibson, Donnely and Ivancevich includes production, efficiency, satisfaction, adaptation and development. The research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive design. The population of the study was the people who were recorded as the Permanent Voters List for the Pandeglang District 2 in the general election for the 2019-2014 period with a total of 136,443 people. The sampling technique used proportionate stratified random sampling with as many as 400 respondents. Data analysis used SPSS Version 23 program. The results of the study found that the effectiveness of the recess activities of members of the Pandeglang DPRDin Dapil 2 was declared effective. This was obtained from the hypothesis testing criteria which obtained a value of tcount > ttable (56.282 > 1.649), then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The percentage of effectiveness of recess activities for members of DPRD Pandeglang Dapil 2 is 69.94%.

INFLUENCE OF POLITICAL MARKETING ON VOTING INTENTION: AN EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATION

They are able to obtain their essential resources to use the resources and to forecast the consequence of their efforts. The success of corporate organizations owing to effective application of marketing has inspired the politicians to think about the intelligent use of marketing in politics as well. The sample size is 385 when the levels of significance are set at 95% (z = 1.96), 5% (e = +.5), and 5% (p =.5). Only 330 respondents made it through the screening process due to being both full and consistent. 
 Firms that use marketing wisely have a big advantage in terms of profitability. They can get their core resources to use the resources and predict the consequences of their efforts. The success of corporate organizations through the effective use of marketing has inspired politicians to think about the wise use of marketing in politics as well. The sample size is 385 when the significance levels are set at 95% (z = 1.96), 5% (e = +.5), and 5% (p = 0.5). Only 330 respondents went through the selection process due to the fact that they were complete and consistent.
 Money was utilized by politicians in Lebanon during voter registration, party primaries, and the general election. Politicians in the state of Lebanon were found to have utilized fast-burning cash to purchase voters or permanent voters' cards and to compromise electoral staffs. Voter turnout was impacted by this illegal conduct. The importance of money in a democracy stems from the fact that most political action requires financial backing. 
 There has been a marked decrease in the usage and mentions of its politicians, particularly on Twitter, despite the fact that the internet world has simplified access to celebrity culture. According to the data, these well-known people were not very influential on Twitter.

POLITICAL PARTICIPATION IN TRADITIONAL SOCIETY (CASE STUDY OF 2009 LEGISLATIVE ELECTION IN KANEKES VILLAGE)

This study examines the political participation of the Baduy community in the form of voting in the 2009 Legislative Election. According to their belief, the Baduy are not assigned to participate in the General Election. To respect government regulations, they participated in elections 3 times with few participants (3%). In 2009 the Baduy community participated in the General Election with the number of participants reaching 21% of the Permanent Voters List. This study aims to determine the factors causing the increase in voter turnout. Qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature searches. Research results: the increase in political participation in the form of voting in the 2009 General Election in Kanekes village was caused by persuasion by the Golkar party legislative candidate, H. Kasmin, to the customary government. Persuasion is done using traditional communication, namely face to face, the communicator is a person who is well known so that the communicant believes in the content of the message received. Finally, the traditional leaders agreed to hold the general election in Kanekes village. After the election was approved by traditional leaders, the Golkar party's success team consisting of Baduy people conducted a campaign to the citizens by utilizing primordial ties, namely ethnic ties.

8 - The Role of ICT in Curtailing Electoral Fraud and Violence in Nigeria: A Study of the 2019 General Election in Lagos State

Elections can be described as the hallmark of democracy and integral for a democratic society to remain stable. However, electoral process in Nigeria has been marred with fraud and violence. Electoral violence and fraud remain a major threat to the stability of democracy in Nigeria. To reduce the occurrence of violence and fraud, INEC introduced the Smart Card Reader (SCR) which was used to verify the authenticity of the Permanent Voters Card (PVC). The use of ICT during the 2019 elections limited the extent to which political actors can intimidate or harass INEC officials to commit electoral fraud, it also reduced the number of electoral petitions and in Lagos State, there was a reduction in violence experienced during the elections. PERANAN KPU DALAM MENINGKATKAN PARTISIPASI MASYARAKAT DALAM PEMILIHAN GUBERNUR DAN WAKIL GUBERNUR TAHUN 2020 DI PROVINSI JAMBI

This study aims 1) to find out what programs are carried out by the Jambi Province General Election Commission in increasing public participation in the 2020 Governor and Deputy Governor Elections; 2) To find out community participation in the Election of Governor and Deputy Governor in Jambi Province in 2020. The results show that the program carried out by the General Election Commission of Jambi Province in increasing public participation in the Election of Governor and Deputy Governor in Jambi Province in 2020 is socialization in the form of counseling ( face-to-face), socialization through print and electronic media, socialization of health protocols (simulation at TPS), socialization through the installation of socialization props and dissemination of socialization materials, organizer-based socialization and socialization using smart cars. Upaya Menjamin Hak Pilih Masyarakat melalui Tahapan Coklit pada Pilkada Bulukumba 2020

This paper aims to show the efforts made by the Bulukumba Regency KPU in ensuring the community's right to vote in the 2020 Bulukumba district picada. One of the important aspects carried out is through matching and research (coklit) voter data. Pilkada held in 2020 faces its own challenges because it will be held in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic which greatly limits the space for movement and community interaction. It is feared that this will have implications for the pilkada stage, one of which is related to the permanent voter list (DPT). One of the important parts that must be observed in the election process is the guarantee of the fulfillment of the political rights of the community which has become a dilemma in the midst of the Covid-19 condition. Observing this condition, the Bulukumba Regency KPU carried out a matching and research process (Coklit) as a form of effort to ensure that people's voting rights could still be fulfilled but on the other hand the Health protocol had to be observed. For this reason, the browning process is carried out with due regard to health protocols. In addition, the Coklit process is also carried out online where the public can access a website that will direct them to independently check their data as permanent voters

The Effectiveness of Simultaneous Election 2019: Evaluation Through the Simultaneous Election 2024

The Presidential, Vice Presidential, and Legislative General Elections were held simultaneously for the first time in 2019 as a constitutional implication of the Constitutional Court Decision Number 14/PUU-XI/2013 and the enactment of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Sorting. This study aims to identify the extent of the effectiveness of The General Election Supervisory Agency in the first simultaneous implementation as an effort to face the simultaneous general election in 2024 so that it can run optimally and minimize the occurrence of errors in the general election organizing sector. The method used in this study focuses on collecting data so that this research design is descriptive qualitative. In practice, there are still many problems that occur in the organizers of the General Election. Election organizers established by law are the General Election Commissions, The General Election Supervisory Agency and the Election Organizer Ethics Council In the context of the effectiveness of the General Election Supervisory Agency. In general, the General Election Supervisory Agency has carried out its duties to the fullest, still leaving a record that it is not yet effective. The General Election Commissions as technical organizers in the General Election noted very crucial problems such as human resources that were not directly proportional to the workload carried out, causing many to get sick and even die, besides that the Permanent Voters List is still a crucial problem in the 2019 simultaneous general election, asynchronous Permanent Voters List so that millions of people cannot cast their ballots. Various administrative sectors that also experienced many problems are still being evaluated. The General Election Supervisory Agency is experiencing problems with violations and crimes that occur in the implementation of general elections are also not maximized. The Election Organizer Ethics Council which is authorized to follow up on ethical code issues tends to be considered successful, although it still leaves a record for improvement. Facing the simultaneous general election in 2024, then a comprehensive evaluation of these problems will be treated.

Money Politics and Political Participation in the 2019 Legislative Elections in Banjar

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of money politics on people's political participation in the 2019 Legislative Election in Banjar, West Java. The results of this study are expected to provide strategic recommendations that can contribute directly to problem-solving for the KPU in Banjar City in making decisions, especially regarding money politics in Banjar. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach, data collection techniques with literature studies, and field studies with questionnaire instruments. The number of samples was 399 respondents who were part of the Permanent Voters List for the 2019 Banjar Legislative Election using the Proportionate Stratified Sampling technique. The data analysis technique in this research is to use the product moment analysis method. The results of the study show that the condition of money politics (Money Politic) carried out by unscrupulous candidates for the 2019 Banjar City DPRD legislative candidates found that 23% had been offered money or goods; Community political participation in the 2019 Legislative Election in Banjar City was highest based on sociological factors with a figure of 80.5%. The magnitude of the influence of Money Politic on political participation in the 2019 Legislative Election in Banjar City is 4.40%. The practice of money politics has no significant effect on public participation to actively participate in the 2019 Banjar City legislative election, the survey results explain an implementation that if there are legislative candidates who practice money politics to the public/voters, the money is received but does not guarantee that the public chooses the person. the legislative candidate.

Election Governance Drafting a Special Voter List of Elections in 2019 in Indragiri Hulu Regency

The preparation of the electoral register is a problem in every election. One of the problems that often arises in the form of the number of eligible voters but not registered in the list of permanent voters. This is evident in the large number of voters of resident identity card users who are registered in the special voter list. This research aims to analyze the problem of special voter list of the 2019 election in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province. In this study, researchers used an election governance perspective consisting of three stages, namely the stages of rule making, the implementation of rules, and the adjudication of rules. This research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods. The results showed that based on the perspective of election governance, the contributing factor to the large number of special voter lists for the 2019 election in Indragiri Hulu regency was at three stages of election governance. At the rule-making stage, in the form of implications of several policies taken by actors involved in the drafting of the rules. At the stage of implementation of the rules, in the form of the implementation of voter list preparation activities in Indragiri Hulu Regency which is not good. While the stage of adjudication rules in the form of non-accommodating recommendations of the Indragiri Hulu District Election Supervisory Agency related to special voters. There are two factors that are at the root of the problem of the large number of special voters. The root of the problem related to special voters who have not been registered on the Permanent Voter List, due to the non-implementation of matching and re-research of voters at the stage of updating the voter list. While the root of the problem related to special voters who have been registered on the permanent voter list, due to the difference in the maximum number of voters per polling place in elections and elections, so it must be re-mapping polling stations.

Perilaku Pemilih Warga Desa Golongan Muda dan Golongan Tua dalam Pemilihan Kepala Desa

This study aimed to analyze the portrait, shape, and strengthening of the voting behavior of villagers and the political education of young and old villagers in the election of village heads. This study used a case study qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results showed that the portrait of villager voting behavior in the village head election was seen through the use of voting rights, material and physical support, and participation in village deliberations. The form of the voting behavior of villagers in the village head election is included in the categories of novice voters, sawing voters, floating masses, and permanent voters. Strengthening the voting behavior of villagers in the election of village heads was carried out through socialization carried out by village officials, contestants, volunteers, churches, and the committee of the voting group. The political education of young villagers in the election of village heads was obtained from various online media, while the older group received political education from print media.

KINERJA KOMISI PEMILIHAN UMUM KOTA MAKASSAR DALAM MELINDUNGI HAK PILIH WARGA DI TENGAH PANDEMI COVID-19

A common problem that is usually found in the election process is updating the voters’ data. It is a very crucial stage because it is related to the citizens' voting rights. This article looks at how the performance of the General Election Commission of Makassar city (KPU Kota Makassar) in protecting citizens' voting rights during COVID-19 crisis. The research used descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that the commission had carried out its duties in the process of updating voters’ data. The list of permanent voters for the 2020 in Makassar mayoral election decreased due to the large number of Makassar residents who were not staying in Makassar during the time of matching and research procedure (coklit). However, socialization continued to be organized bot in conventional and a modern platform through social media. In addition, collaboration with the Department of Population and Civil Registration, KPU Kota Makassar managed to update the data. Hence, people who do not have electronic identification card (E-KTP) can used their voting rights.

ANALISIS FAKTOR PENYEBAB TINGGINYA TINGKAT GOLPUT MASYARAKAT PADA PEMILUKADA KABUPATEN BUNGO TAHUN 2011 DI KECAMATAN PASAR MUARA BUNGO

This research was conducted at Pasar Muara Bungo District. The location was chosen on purpose or "purposive". The location was chosen because it was included in 3 (three) Districts that had a high level of golput (white group) compared to other Districts in Bungo Regency, namely 4.817 voters or 10,5%. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the high level of abstention from the community in the 2011 Pemilukada Bungo Regency in Pasar Muara Bungo District. The method in this research is quantitative with data taken from the Permanent Voters List (DPT) of the Bungo Regency Pemilukada in 2011. The results show that among the factors that cause low levels of community participation in post-conflict local elections are socio-economic factors, passive community participation and psychological and rational factors

Qualitative research is a social research which fundamentally relies on observing humans in their own domain and relating to those people who seek toreveal actual facts / phenomena that occur in the field. Based on the results of research that has been carried out with the title "Communication Model of the General Election Commission (KPU) in Increasing Voter Participation in the 2018 North Sumatra Governor Election in South Labuhanbatu Regency", the researchers concluded as follows: The General Election Commission of South Labuhanbatu Regency will collect data on the List of Candidates for Permanent Voters who will be given outreach. The General Election Commission of South Labuhanbatu Regency conducts outreach for novice voter candidates in high school equivalent to students who are already in class XII The General Election Commission of South Labuhanbatu Regency carried out the dissemination of the Governor Election to Farmers and Fishermen Communities. The General Election Commission of South Labuhanbatu Regency Strengthens the Synergy of the General Election Commission (KPU) with Local Community Organizations (Ormas). The General Election Commission of South Labuhanbatu Regency conducted socialization through audio and visual media. The General Election Commission of South Labuhanbatu Regency uses the Question and Answer method, the community asks questions related to procedures and so on then the officer answers or vice versa .

The Implementation of Good Governance In The Presidential Election In Indonesia

The 2019 presidential and vice presidential elections in Indonesia had complicated issues, including broken ballots, multiple voter lists, not registered as permanent voters, political money, transparency, administrative violations, electoral penalties, and high white numbers. These problems indicate that the values contained in the concept of good governance are not implemented in the election process. To analyze the issues, this paper uses normative method. The method is by analyzing the Laws. Especially when related to aspects of law enforcement in the principles of administrative law in good governance. This method will be formulated for implementing good governance in the election process. The results of the analysis have who that the electoral justice is very important to be achieved in the presidential election in Indonesia. the presidential system is in order to strengthen the presidential election. However, the presidential election as one of the recruitment in the Presidential in Indonesia system in election is against justice because do not use a good governance in election process. It is not supporting the electoral justice. Results of previous elections in Indonesia, it was found that the values of good governance have not been well implemented in all stages of the election, both in the pre-election stage, the election process until post-election. Especially when related to aspects of law principle in election. this research will be formulated with good governance system for implemented in election process. The paper will be socialized and implemented in the holding of presidential system election in Indonesia.
