The Influence of Principal’s Supervision on the Performance of High School Teachers

This research aims to determine the effect of principal supervision on teacher performance at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Lago, Banyuasin Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach method which contains two variables, namely principal supervision (X1) and teacher performance (Y). Data was obtained through a questionnaire distributed to teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Lago and analyzed using simple linear regression statistical techniques. The research results show that supervision carried out by the school principal has a significant influence on teacher performance. Effective supervision, including aspects of monitoring, evaluation and guidance, has been proven to be able to improve the quality of teaching and teacher professionalism. These findings indicate that the active role of school principals in carrying out supervision is very important to support improvements in teacher performance and, ultimately, the quality of education in the school. This research recommends that school principals intensify constructive and sustainable supervision activities to create an optimal learning environment.

The Influence of School Culture, Transformational Leadership, and Teacher Motivation on Teacher Performance

The purpose of this study is to ascertain the following: (1) the impact of school culture on junior high school work motivation; (2) the impact of transformational leadership on this relationship; (3) the impact of school culture on junior high school teacher performance; (4) the relationship between transformational leadership and junior high school performance; and (5) the impact of work motivation on junior high school teacher performance. Using descriptive data analysis methodologies, the study was carried out at junior high schools in the Delitua District in the academic year of 2023–2024. Regression analysis techniques were included in the data analysis method. There is a sample of 128 teachers in the population. The study's findings demonstrated that: (1) work motivation is directly impacted by school culture; (2) work motivation is directly impacted by transformational leadership in a significant positive way; (3) school culture directly affects performance; (4) transformational leadership directly affects performance; and (5) work motivation directly affects performance. These findings suggest that teacher effectiveness is influenced by school culture, transformational leadership, and work motivation and are important factors in supporting teacher performance.

Development of Technopreneur Leadership to Improve High School Teachers' Teaching Performance: Innovative Approaches in Education

This study aims to describe technopreneur leadership development as an innovative approach to improving the teaching performance of high school teachers. The research method used is quantitative survey research with teachers as research respondents with a sample of 54 respondents based on non-probability sampling techniques with saturated sample types. The data collection technique was used through a closed Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using simple correlation and regression tests. The results showed that technopreneur leadership development can positively impact the teaching performance of high school teachers. Technopreneur leadership development involves introducing and applying relevant technology in the learning process, the development of digital skills and information literacy for teachers, and establishing a culture of quality in schools. In this context, technopreneur leadership plays a role in facilitating teachers to adopt technology effectively, deal with change, motivate and empower education staff, and create a supportive environment for innovation. This research is an important contribution to understanding the importance of technopreneur leadership development as an innovative approach to improving the teaching performance of high school teachers.

The Effect of Work Discipline, Motivation and Leadership Style on Junior High School Teacher Performance

School is one of the educational institutions that plays an important role in improving the quality of human resources. In conducting its vision and mission, the school needs a professional workforce, organisational procedures and supportive resources. The purpose of this research was to prove the effect of work discipline, motivation, leadership style on the performance of teachers of State Junior High School 1 Kaliori Rembang District. The population chosen for this research is the teachers of State Junior High School 1 Kaliori, Rembang District which totalled 40 teachers. The sampling technique in this research used a saturated sample of 40 teachers. The analysis technique in this research used multiple linear regression analysis technique. Obtaining data in this research was through efforts to distribute questionnaires purposeed at 40 teachers. The results showed that work discipline has a significant positive effect on teacher performance at State Junior High School 1 Kaliori, Rembang District. Meanwhile, motivation and leadership style have an insignificant positive effect on the performance of teachers at State Junior High School 1 Kaliori, Rembang District.

The Influence of Principal Academic Supervision and Work Motivation on State High School Teacher Performance in Toba Regency

The purpose of this research is 1) to analyze the influence of the Principal's academic supervision on the performance of State High School teachers in Toba Regency; 2) to analyze the influence of work motivation on the performance of State High School teachers in Toba Regency; 3) to analyze the influence of the principal's academic supervision and work motivation on the performance of State High School teachers in Toba Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method. The population is all state high school teachers in Toba Regency, totaling 416 people and a sample of 84 people was determined, which is 20% of the total population. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire with 65 items. The results of data analysis show that: 1) the calculated F value > F table between the Principal's academic supervision on teacher performance is 22.590 > 3.15, so it is known that there is an influence of the Principal's academic supervision on the performance of State High School teachers in Toba Regency, namely 21, 6%, 2) calculated F value > F table between work motivation and teacher performance, namely 44.658 > 3.15, thus it is known that there is an influence of work motivation on the performance of State High School teachers in Toba Regency, namely 35.3%, 3) F value calculate > F table between the principal's academic supervision and work motivation on teacher performance, namely 25.298 > 3.15, thus it is known that there is an influence of the principal's academic supervision and work motivation on the performance of State High School teachers in Toba Regency, namely 38.4%. Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

This research analyzes the direct and indirect influence of the principal's instructional leadership, work environment, and job satisfaction on teacher performance at SMAN Kota Banjarbaru. The method used in this research is descriptive correlational, using a path analysis model to analyze the influence between variables. The research population was 163 teachers from 4 high schools in the Banjarbaru area, and 116 respondents were taken as research samples using the Slovin formula with the Proportionate Random Sampling technique. Data collection uses questionnaire instruments, and data analysis uses descriptive analysis, prerequisite tests, inferential tests, and path analysis. The results of the study of the regression coefficient values ​​of the principal's instructional leadership variable on teacher performance were 0.327, the work environment variable on teacher performance was 0.334, the job satisfaction variable on teacher performance was 0.331, the principal's instructional leadership variable on the work environment was 0.876, the principal's instructional leadership variable on job satisfaction of 0.858, the principal's instructional leadership variable on teacher performance through the work environment is 0.293 and the principal's instructional leadership variable on teacher performance through job satisfaction is 0.284. In conclusion, there is a direct or partial influence of the principal's instructional leadership variables, work environment, and job satisfaction on the performance of high school teachers, and there is an indirect influence of the principal's instructional leadership on the performance of teachers in high school through intermediary media, either work environment or job satisfaction. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational climate and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers (SMA) in Bandung Regency, using quantitative descriptive research methods. The statistical test used is the path analysis test. The population in this study amounted to 358 high school teachers in Bandung Regency, the sampling technique in this study used Proportional Straified Random Sampling, as many as 79 teachers. The results showed that (1) Organizational Climate has a significant effect on the Performance of Senior High School Teachers (SMA) in Bandung Regency. Organizational climate individually has a significant influence on teacher performance, the contribution of organizational climate to the performance of high school teachers (SMA) in Bandung Regency is 68.8%. (2) Work motivation has a significant effect on the performance of high school teachers (SMA) in Bandung Regency. Individual work motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance, the contribution of work motivation to the performance of high school teachers (SMA) in Bandung Regency is 79.5% (3) Organizational Climate and Work Motivation have a significant effect on the Performance of Senior High School Teachers (SMA) in Bandung Regency. Organizational climate and work motivation simultaneously and individually have a significant influence on teacher performance, the contribution of work motivation to the performance of high school teachers (SMA) in Bandung regency is 86.5%.

The Influence of Leadership Style on Junior High School Teacher Performance through the Work Environment in Batam City

Educational leadership is measured through leadership styles, including authoritarian, democratic, and transformational. The authoritarian leadership style emphasizes obedience, is democratic, involves participation, and is transformational to create positive change. Another important factor influencing teacher effectiveness is the work environment. This study aims to see the influence of leadership styles, specifically autocratic leadership, democratic leadership, and transformational leadership, on teachers’ performance through the work environment as an intermediate variable. The research method used is a quantitative descriptive method with a sampling technique using the Slovin formula available on the site (https: //www.statology.org/slovins-formula-calcator/,nd), and a sample of 400 teachers from public and private colleges in Batam city. The data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire via Google Form and a data analysis technique using the SEM method. Analyze the relationship between leadership (authoritarian, democratic, and transformational), work environment, and teacher performance in public and private high schools in Batam City. The results show that democratic and transformational leadership have a positive and significant influence on the work environment and teacher performance. Meanwhile, authoritarian leaders do not have significant influence. The results of this research reflect the importance of a democratic and transformational leadership approach in improving the work environment and Enhancing teachers’ effectiveness during the Education 4.0 era. Adaptation is needed in education and school leadership to be relevant to the demands of an era characterized by high technology and rapid changes in the world of work.

PENGARUH PELAKNASANAAN SUPERVISI AKADEMIK TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KINERJA GURU DALAM PROSES PEMBELAJARAN

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing academic supervision on improving the performance of high school teachers in Subulussalam City in teaching. This type of research is experimental research with a pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were all SMAN teachers in Subulussalam City, totaling 268 people. Meanwhile, the sample in this study consisted of 20 teachers whose performance was still low. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The instrument used to determine teacher performance in implementing the learning process is in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the Wilcoxon test. The research results show that the implementation of academic supervision has an effect on improving teacher performance in implementing the learning process. This is illustrated by the results of the Wilcoxon Test which was carried out with the result obtained Jcount = 0. With α = 0.05 and n=20, then based on the list, Jtable = 52. From these data it can be seen that Jcount is smaller than the Jtable value, so Ho is rejected. This is reinforced by the Z formula equation. Because the calculated z value is -2.803 and this value is smaller than the table z value, namely -1.96. Therefore, Ho is rejected so that the teacher's performance in implementing the learning process increases after being given academic supervision.

Mediation Effect of Job Satisfaction on The Effect of Participatory Leadership Style and Individual Creativity on Senior High School Teacher Performance in Kerinci District

This research examined the effect of participatory leadership style and individual creativity on teacher performance. In addition, this research also examines whether the existence of the variable job satisfaction mediates the relationship between participatory leadership style and individual creativity on teacher performance. This research was conducted on 80 respondents who were high school teachers in Kerinci Regency. The research data was collected using an online questionnaire (google form). The data analysis technique of this research is Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis with the help of the SmartTPLS 3.0 application. This study found that the participatory leadership style positively and significantly affects job satisfaction and teacher performance. While individual creativity does not significantly affect job satisfaction, it significantly affects teacher performance. Job satisfaction does not affect teacher performance. Job satisfaction is also not proven to be able to mediate the relationship between participatory leadership style and individual creativity on the performance of high school teachers in the Kerinci District.

The Influence of Principal Leadership Behavior on Junior High School Teacher Performance

This study aims to determine the effect of principal leadership behaviour on teacher performance. This type of research used in this study is ex post facto. This study's population was 926 teachers at State Junior High Schools in Palu who carried out learning activities in the 2017/2018 academic year. The sampling technique was carried out randomly. The number of samples is 90 teachers consisting of 8 junior high schools in Palu City, and data collection uses a questionnaire. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, it is known that the frequency of leadership behaviours for the very high category obtained a value of 53.33%, the high category of 45.56%, and the low category of 1.11%. The frequency of teacher performance for the very high category obtained a value of 62.22% and the high category of 37.78%. Based on the simple linear regression test results, it is known that there is an influence of the principal's leadership behavior on teacher performance by 24.8%, while other variables influence teacher performance of 75.2%. The influence of principal leadership behaviour on teacher performance shows a positive and significant regression coefficient. In this study, the principal showed good behaviour and was aware of his responsibilities as a leader in his school related to human resource management, namely the teachers he led. The principal always strives to create conducive school conditions by creating mutual respect between teachers and school principals, then between teachers and school members. Teachers participated in finding solutions to problems currently being faced by the school and providing equal opportunities for teachers to develop themselves. It means that if the principal's leadership is excellent, the teacher's performance will increase.

ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF PEDAGOGIC COMPETENCE, DIGITAL LEADERSHIP ON CAREER DEVELOPMENT

This research aims to find out the influence of pedagogical competence and digital leadership on career development's impact on the performance of East Aceh State High School teachers. The data in this study used primary data in the form of questionnaires compiled following indicators of research variables and distributed to 180 teachers of East Aceh State High School with sampling techniques conducted in the first stage of stratified random sampling then carried out with simple random sampling techniques or simple randomization of respondents in this study. Data analysis methods are used by structural analysis (SEM) and processed with the analysis of structural moments (AMOS) program. The results of the study found that there is an influence of pedagogical competence and digital leadership on career development and teacher performance, there is also digital leadership influence on the performance of High School teachers in East Aceh Regency. Furthermore, the results of this study show that pedagogical competence predominantly affects the performance of East Aceh State High School teachers.

Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah, Budaya Organisasi, dan Motivasi Kerja terhadap Kinerja Guru SMA di Kecamatan Huamual Kabupaten Seram Bagian Barat

This study aims to (1) determine whether or not there is a significant influence from the principal's leadership on the performance of SMA teachers in Huamual District, (2) determine whether or not there is a significant influence from organizational culture on the performance of SMA teachers in Huamual District, (3) determine whether or not there is a significant influence of work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in Huamual District, and (4) determine whether there is a simultaneous significant influence of principal leadership, organizational culture, and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in Huamual District. This type of research is Ex Post Facto research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study was 104 teachers selected by census technique. The data were obtained from closed questionnaires and were processed using regression test statistics. The results of this study are as follows, namely there is a positive and significant influence of 11.40% from the principal's leadership on the performance of high school teachers in Huamual sub-district, there is a positive and significant influence of 15.40% from organizational culture on the performance of high school teachers in Huamua sub-district, there is a positive and significant influence of 22.10% of teacher work motivation on high school teacher performance in Huamual sub-district, and there is a simultaneous positive and significant effect of 24.00% from principal leadership, organizational culture, and teacher work motivation on high school teacher performance in Huamual sub-district.

The Influence of 2013 Curriculum Implementation on Teacher Performance

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study was to find out how the 2013 curriculum was implemented in high school classes at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu. To find out how the performance of high school teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu. To find out how the influence of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on the performance of high school teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu.
 Methodology: This type of research is a quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were 3 high school teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu. The data in this study were collected using observation and documentation techniques. Furthermore, the collected data was analyzed using a simple linear regression analysis formula.
 Main Findings: The implementation of the 2013 curriculum in high grades at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu, reached 69.57% and was categorized as good, because the 69.57% rate lies in the 61% - 80% interval. The performance of high grade teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu, reaches 67.28% and is categorized as good, because the 67.28% figure lies in the 61% - 80% interval. There is a positive and significant influence between the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on teacher performance at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nahdhatul Ulama II Tembilahan Hulu, which is indicated by the number 80.36 and is interpreted as high. Because based on Ftable , the value for 7 is 5.59. So that Fcount ≥ Ftable, meaning = 80.36 ≥ 5.59, then Ho is rejected, the number 80.36 lies in the acceptance area, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.
 Novelty/Originality of this study: The update of this research is to see how the influence of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum on teacher performance at the Islamic elementary school Nahdatul Ulama II in Tembilahan Hulu.

Android-based Leadership Learning Assessment: Teacher Performance Support Applications in Indonesia

The development of information technology has an impact on school principals in carrying out their duties in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to produce an android-based learning leadership assessment model for school principals as an effort to improve teacher performance. The research subjects used were school principals, teachers and school supervisors. Data obtained with the help of focus group discussions, questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The research findings show that the assessment model developed is an application based on android technology. Through this product, the assessment is carried out with the help of an android smartphone. Th results of the head of the education office above, the average score shows that the android-based learning leadership assessment model for principals as an effort to improve the performance of high school teachers as a whole and in terms of aspects has been considered important or very important with an average score of 4.30 or a good category between value > 3.5 - 4.2. the average score shows that the android-based learning leadership assessment model for school principals as an effort to improve the performance of high school teachers as a whole and in terms of aspects has been assessed as very important with an average score of 4.29. The study findings conclude that the android-based learning leadership assessment model for principals to improve the performance of high school teachers was very necessary and very important to be developed.

The Effect of Financial Compensation, Performance Assessment, and Competencies on the Performance of High School Teachers

This study aims to examine the effect of financial compensation, performance appraisal, and competence on the performance of senior high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. The research was conducted in a senior high school in Banda Aceh City. The population of this study was 30 high school seniors consisting of 19 senior high schools, 6 vocational high schools, 3 state madrasah aliyah, and 2 integrated dayah. This study uses a mixed method. The research data was obtained by distributing questionnaires and interviews. The data is then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed that 1) The results of quantitative calculations, financial compensation and teacher competence jointly affect teacher performance, but performance appraisal does not affect the performance of senior high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. Partially, there is an effect of financial compensation and teacher competence on the performance of high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. However, there is no effect of performance appraisal on the performance of senior high school teachers in Banda Aceh City. 2) Qualitatively, the results of interviews with principals showed financial compensation and teacher competence. Meanwhile, teacher performance appraisal only affects teacher performance if there is feedback and supervision from the principal. According to school principals, other factors that influence teacher performance are internal and external factors, namely the motivation and character of teachers, which are supported by the leadership and work environment.
