In climatic conditions in spring of 2009, on Astra, Blasius and Selena varieties were made researches regarding their resistance to spring late frosts and their behavior on drought period. Researches sought to determine the percentage of dead buds, the fertile shoots, and the number of inflorescences, at 25 blocks vines. Using formulas were calculated the coefficient of fertility, absolute and relative. During shoots growth were measured length and diameter of shoots in two different periods, May 20, and June 20. Research on the shoots growth at two different moments, demonstrate that it was influenced by frost in April and by prolonged drought over a period of two month. Regarding fertility elements, the lowest absolutely fertility coefficient is at Blasius variety and on shoots growth, differences are very significant positive for all varieties. In the stage of intensive growth, the increase in shoot length does not influence the increase in their diameter.
