The EU experience of providing graduates with employment: conclusion for Ukraine

The article analyses the current trends in provision of higher education graduates with employment in the labour market in the European Union by looking into the inter-related issues: the modernization of higher education to the market economy needs, effective measures for providing higher education graduates with employment in the labour market in the European Union, the experience of the European Union. The research is based on theoretical literature review of the existing materials available on this problem. Mainly, they are the EU legal documents and researches of the European scholars. It summarizes the European experience of taking effective measures to provide employment for graduates with higher education. The research is based on a theoretical analysis of authentic sources: the EU strategies, reports to the European Commission and publications of European researchers. The concept of the study is based on the principles of comparative, systemic, holistic, cultural, interdisciplinary approaches, as well as pedagogical forecasting. The article concludes with recommendations for the Ukrainian Government, the institutions of higher education, participants of the educational process. The recommendations are developed to harmonize higher education interaction with the national labour market, taking into account the experience of the European Union on this issue.

Coexistence of Theory and Practice in Training the Future Mathematics Teacher: The Experience of the Russian Education System

The relevance of the research: For the fourth decade, Russian education system has undergone constant changes at various levels: from preschool to higher education. Accordingly, the process of teacher’s professional training is being modernized, including state educational standards, which assume significant strengthening of the role of practical training. In this regard, it becomes urgent to find a balance between the theoretical and practical training of the future mathematics teacher. The purpose of the study is to identify the optimal balance between theoretical and practical teaching in the process of professional training of the future mathematics teacher. The research was carried out based on the regularities of the methodological problems of pedagogical forecasting, including the expert evaluation method, historical analysis, practical methods (questionnaire surveying).

THE PROJECTED RATE OF COMPETENCE FORMATION AS A TOOL OF EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT OF ADVANCED LEVEL OF EDUCATION

Introduction. Specially organized complex of the scientific research directed to obtaining the reliable advancing information about development of pedagogical members is necessary for the development of educational policy, the strategy of development for educational systems, and methods of management of quality of pedagogical activity at different stages of education. The result of the educational management of professional and educational process is caused by the quality of pedagogical design. In turn, the quality of pedagogical forecasting is a factor determining the overall effectiveness of management through the pedagogical design. The aim of this article is to describe the model that allows applying the rate of competence formation as a tool of educational management and providing the advanced level of education. Methodology and research methods are based on pre-competence and context approach, which supposes the content selection as a set of competencies and designing the educational and professional process with the use of the rate of formation of ability and readiness (competency) as a tool of teaching management. Results. The author states socio-pedagogical contradiction, which is in acute shortage of predictive tools in the management of the educational process. The article describes terminology and empirical mathematical models that underpin pedagogical management of the educational and professional training of students that provides the advanced level of formation of organizational and managerial competence. Scientific novelty. The author clarifies the concept of the advanced level of education; introduces the term of the rate of formation of competency; proposes a new model to solve the problem of predicting learning outcomes and timely management influence by managers of education at all stages of the design and functioning of the educational system in the conditions of implementation of competence-based approach in the higher school, providing the advanced level of education. Practical significance. Presented in the article the model and the methodology of its application can be used for the specification of functions of management of the educational and professional process in the design and diagnosis of the extent of achievement of objectives of teaching students’ organization and management activity of advanced level.

ВЛИЯНИЕ ОЗНАКОМЛЕНИЯ ОБУЧАЮЩИХСЯ С ДАННЫМИ ИНДИВИДУАЛЬНОГО ПРОГНОЗИРОВАНИЯ НА РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ ИХ УЧЕБНОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ

Individual approach to learning is aimed to identify and develop the unique students’ qualities. The degree of students’ study success has to be estimated by a relevant assessment system. One of the most effective systems is the rating system. However, the amount of data needed to be evaluated causes difficulties in results’ interpretation. The authors developed the associative models of pedagogical prognostics that allow to carry out individual predictions of students’ study success. The paper discusses whether it is efficient to know the individual prediction data for the students. The authors claim that the forecast data which is methodically formed on the basis of associative predictive models about the students’ possible education achievements might serve as an incentive to increase the individual student’s activity and productivity of study process. The results show that the students that were aware of the individual results of pedagogical forecasting showed higher individual rating results in comparison with the students that were not informed about the forecast data.
