From the results of the study it can be seen that on the results of the correlation test there is a positive relationship between Authoritarian Parenting Patterns of Parents and Insecure Attitudes in Class X MIPA Students at MAN in Sorong City because the obtained p value = 0.000 <0.05, and the results of a correlation coefficient of 0.600 are on a coefficient of 0.600 - 0.799 with a strong category. This shows that the relationship between authoritarian parenting parents and the insecure attitude of class X MIPA students at MAN in Sorong City is low. Where before the researcher carried out the correlation test the researcher carried out the Normality and Linearity tests as a condition before carrying out the Correlation test and the results of the normality test were the Kolmogorov-Swirnov test on asymp.sig (2-tailed) obtaining a result of 0.200 which result is > 0, 05 so it can be concluded that the X and Y variable data are normally distributed.
