Challenges of Tourism Assistance in the Baduy Community The sustainability of rural tourism management is, among other things, determined by the ability of managers to autonomously govern their tourism. This means that the managers need to have clear guidelines to be accepted by all parties. It seems that not all tourism managers possess the necessary skills in tourism management. For instance, in Baduy, Kanekes Village, Lebak Regency, West Java, the bustling tourism that has been ongoing in Baduy has not significantly benefited its residents and environment. Some challenges faced include the suboptimal performance of local institutions with the legitimacy to regulate tourism activities, a high dependency on tour packages from external parties, and numerous external guides bringing tourists to Baduy. The environmental impacts caused by tourism and limitations in skills and human resource capacity also contribute to the challenges. This article was developed from a mentoring process conducted using a participatory action research approach. Specifically, the article aims to explain the techniques and mentoring processes conducted while highlighting the challenges encountered when assisting the Saba Budaya Baduy managers. As a result, various tourism training needs have been provided to ensure the readiness of local human resources. Post-training, mentoring continues to address challenges in implementing the training program. Mentoring challenges in the Baduy community require the mentoring team to understand the cultural values that are still maintained amidst modernity. Skills and abilities in communication with a cultural approach are essential to ensure that both physical and non-physical mentoring programs are fully accepted by the Baduy residents. The stages of tourism mentoring in indigenous communities require a continuous process to ensure that the Baduy residents have more sovereignty in tourism management.

How to make a collaborative videography using Phygital affordances to study sensitive topics

Purpose The physical filmmaking landscape has been transformed by the emergence of digital platforms that foster interaction and dialogue. The accessibility and affordability of mobile production tools have empowered anyone with a mobile phone to become a media content creator. Accordingly, this paper aims to present a multi-method approach for creating phygital projects that involve people as active participants rather than mere subjects who collaborate with the researchers to tell their stories. Design/methodology/approach Research participants can embrace diverse roles, serving as co-researchers, content creators, curators and collaborators. The authors use various engagement strategies with the research participants, who are often marginalized or underrepresented, to encourage their participation and give them agency and creative control. Thus, we also use a participatory action research approach to help advocate for the participants’ facial equality concerns. Findings Collaborative videography embraces the mosaic of voices expressing intricate social issues. In this project, research participants with “facial differences” explain their experiences in facing society. Originality/value By experimenting with participatory frameworks and combining physical interactions (such as in-person meetings) with digital platforms like Zoom and social media, the authors suggest a multi-method approach that honors the authentic stories of the research participants, effectively engages the audience and explains how phygital research methodologies can be used in interpretive consumer research, particularly in co-creating films that capture strong visuals.

Community strategies for health promotion and prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases with a focus on physical activity and nutrition: the URO/FOCOS study protocol.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) account for 71% of all annual deaths, totaling 41 million people worldwide. The development and progression of these diseases are highly related to the environment and lifestyle choices, among which physical inactivity and excess malnutrition stand out. Currently, in Chile, there is no evidence at the regional and local level on the impact of physical activity and healthy nutrition plans and interventions on health promotion, prevention, and timely treatment of NCDs. The following protocol delineates the URO/FOCOS (Universidad Regional de O'Higgins/FOrtaleciendo COmunidades Saludables- Regional University of O'Higgins/Strengthening Healthy Communities) study, which will assess pilot community intervention strategies using a participatory action research approach by identifying barriers and facilitators on the practice of physical activity and healthy eating habits. In this project, the community from the O'Higgins region will be involved throughout the entire research process to develop strategies that promote regular physical activity and healthy eating practices. We propose three interrelated strategies: (1) Participatory Action Research, (2) Community interventions for promoting physical activity and healthy nutrition practices, and (3) health education. The URO/FOCOS study offers a unique opportunity in the O'Higgins region to develop participatory strategies and interventions based on the community's needs and motivations with regard to physical activity and healthy eating habits. We believe these strategies will help to improve the community's overall health through effective changes in their decision and preferences toward a more active lifestyle and healthier nutrition practices.

Teaching mathematics from the lens of social justice in a Pakistani classroom

In our educational institution, despite significant progress in educational achievements, there is a prevalent issue of mathematics lessons focusing on rote memorization and superficial understanding, leading to learner dissatisfaction. This study presents a research project conducted by a group of five individuals, including myself as a teacher researcher and four other teachers. The project aimed to address this issue by employing a participatory action research approach. Through innovative planning, teaching, and evaluation methods, the research group successfully demonstrated how making mathematics more relevant and meaningful can increase student engagement and agency. The collaborative nature of the group fostered self-awareness among the teacher researchers regarding social justice issues within their mathematics classrooms. The research project highlighted the potential of mathematics as a powerful tool for developing students’ understanding of social justice issues and establishing meaningful connections between these issues and mathematical concepts. Importantly, the project emphasized the significance of student agency, showcasing how collaborative and problem-solving approaches to teaching, coupled with student autonomy in selecting issues to explore and mathematical procedures to apply, can contribute to the development of student agency.

Working with a young people's advisory panel to conduct educational research: Young people's perspectives and researcher reflections

Participatory Action Research (PAR) with young people aims to centre their knowledge and experience in research which is meaningful to them. In recent years, there has been an increase in PAR approaches within education, yet there is still a need for greater methodological insight into this approach. In this project, which explored adolescents’ reading motivation and engagement, a young people's advisory panel was convened to ensure the perspectives and experiences of young people were central to the project. The panel consisted of 6 young people (13–15-years-old) from 3 geographically dispersed schools in Scotland. The panel worked with researchers at the Universities of Edinburgh and Dundee and a national literacy organisation across one academic year to plan and design the project, carry out data collection, and support interpretation the findings. In this article, young peoples’ perspectives on their role and adult perspectives on the methodological approach of working with a young people's advisory panel on a reading research project are explored. Discussion of the benefits (e.g., challenging systems of power and privilege, producing outcomes which are more relevant to pupils), limitations (e.g., truly disrupting hierarchies of power), and considerations (e.g., planning participatory projects, including diverse and representative voices, and ‘bounded empowerment’) for researchers interested in convening youth advisory panels for educational research are provided to contribute towards the growing interest in PAR approaches in educational research.

Constructing Diaspora Space and Consciousness Through Sport and Livelihoods in Kampala, Uganda

Applying the concept of diaspora, this paper examines an organization in Kampala, Uganda that utilizes sport to foster cultural belonging and increase livelihood opportunities for refugees. A participatory action research approach was implemented with multiple forms of data collection including semistructured interviews, photovoice, and photocollaging. Findings highlight how sport and livelihoods are used by refugees to resist exclusion and other inequalities in Kampala and to express diaspora space and consciousness. Discussion highlights the usefulness of the concept of diaspora for understanding the intersections of sport, refugees, livelihoods, and, more importantly, to stimulate a homing desire for refugees forcibly displaced.

The role of participatory action research (PAR) in the emergence of self-determined Indigenous research responding to major societal issues

In recent decades, there has been growing criticism that research has long been conducted ‘on’ Indigenous peoples rather than ‘with’ or ‘for’ them. In response to this, in 1999, Linda Tuhiwai Smith published a critical analysis of colonialism in Western research, arguing for the decolonisation of knowledge and the implementation of new co-constructed projects that respond to societal concerns, rely on methodologies rooted in local knowledge, and use participatory action research approaches. In a seven-year project (2010–17) in Nunavut, Canada, we adopted this approach, using participatory action research to co-construct research questions in collaboration with the Inuit community of Baker Lake (Qamani’tuaq) on issues that most concern them, such as mining impacts and youth future. This article discusses the TUKTU project, analysing its development and the advantages and limitations of Indigenous participatory action research, conceived and conducted by the people it concerns, and based on their vision of the world, valorising their knowledge and contributing to their empowerment.

Cross-Sector Collaboration to Improve Access to Community Services for People Living With Diabetes: Contributions From Actor-Network Theory.

Diabetes is a global public health issue. The Public Health Agency of Canada published a Diabetes Framework 2022 which recommends collaborative work across sectors to mitigate the impact of diabetes on health and quality of life. Since 2020, the INMED-COMMUNITY pathway has been implemented in Laval, Québec developing collaboration between healthcare and community sectors through a participatory action research approach. The aim of this article is to gain a better understanding of the INMED-COMMUNITY pathway implementation process, based on the mobilization of network actor theory. Qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews conducted from January to March 2023 with 12 participants from 3 different sectors (community, health system, research), were carried out using actor-network theory. The results explored the conditions for effective intersectoral collaboration in a participatory action research approach to implement the INMED-COMMUNITY pathway. These were: (1) contextualization of the project, (2) a consultation approach involving various stakeholders, (3) creation of new partnerships, (4) presence of a project coordinator, and (5) mobilization of stakeholders around a common definition of diabetes. Mediation supported by a project coordinator contributed to the implementation of an intersectoral collaborative health intervention, largely due to early identification of controversies.

The Internal Quality Assurance System is a reference for universities to better manage and organize higher education, prepare students to compete at the global level, and make a greater contribution to the local community. Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang faces challenges in implementing the Internal Quality Assurance System, such as a lack of understanding of the Internal Quality Assurance System concept, limited human resources and infrastructure, low commitment to quality culture, and not yet having a certified internal auditor. The purpose of this community service assistance is to support the implementation of the Internal Quality Assurance System through the second cycle of Internal Quality Audit using a Participatory Action Research approach consisting of the identification/assessment stage, planning, program design, implementation, and monitoring, and evaluation. As a result, Bumi Sebalo Management Academy Bengkayang successfully implemented the control cycle and can continue to the Internal Quality Assurance System improvement cycle. This is evidenced by the support of the Organizing Board, college management, the involvement of the entire academic community, and the preparation of the second cycle Internal Quality Audit report. Participatory research in caring communities: Practice what you preach?

Background: Participation is presented as a key principle of caring communities. Participatory research directly includes communities and through co-producing knowledge, it would foster sustainable change that matches with local communities' needs. However, in practice, participatory approaches are challenging, and theoretical principles are not always easy to translate in practice.
 Aim: The goal of this workshop is to jointly advance our understanding of participatory research in relation to caring communities, and to discuss and exchange the challenges and pitfalls related to this type of research.
 Participants: The workshop is for everyone who is interested in developing, understanding, or evaluating caring communities or wants to be an active part of it. Both people with and without experience in the subject are welcome.
 Methods:
 
 Brainstorm about participatory research in relation to caring communities. What is meant by participation in participatory research? Who ‘should’ participate? (10min)
 
 
 
 Presenting three case studies using participatory research methods within different community settings (i.e., an urban neighborhood, a municipality, and a higher educational institution) and with different community members (i.e., inhabitants and users of the neighborhood, socioeconomically disadvantaged adults, university students and staff). Each case will present 3 challenges faced within the process. (30min)
 
 - Suzannah D’Hooghe studies the role of the perceived local environment in health-promoting behaviors among socioeconomically disadvantaged adults in two peri-urban municipalities in Flanders. Community-based participatory approaches such as walk-along interviews, photovoice, and focus groups were used to i) identify environmental factors affecting eating behavior and recreational walking, and ii) identify actions to promote healthy eating and stimulate recreational walking.
 - Octavia Kint is involved in a co-creative research project on caring communities in two neighborhoods in Brussels. 80% of the neighborhood-built surface is not used for housing, and is characterized by a large presence of ‘atypical’ neighborhood users: musea, public institutions, companies, shops, commuters,... Together with a group of neighborhood co-researchers we investigated and experimented with how a caring community could be built together with these ‘atypical’ neighborhood users.
 - Hanne Bakelants studies the development of a Compassionate University in one university setting in Brussels. A participatory action research approach is used in which staff and students i) share challenges they encounter when confronted with serious illness, death, and bereavement, ii) co-define objectives for developing a compassionate initiative within the university context, and iii) co-create and execute an implementation plan in collaboration with the research team.

How do management in civic society organisations, strategic managers, and policy-makers reason about their own role in collaborative community-based prevention and outcomes thereof, within health and social care in Sweden?

Introduction: From a societal perspective an aging population with deterioration of health contributes to rising costs for social and health care. This project acknowledges health in older adults as a complex matter, that includes physical, social, and psychological dimensions, that needs to be targeted at individual, societal and structural levels. Thereby, we recognize that collaborative efforts by diverse actors are necessary to prevent deterioration of health. Today, however, research-based models for successful collaborative prevention are scarce, and collaboration is hampered by administrative gaps between municipal social care and regional health care. Therefore, this project uses a participatory action research approach and a multiple case study design. Results from a first study will be presented comprising what perspectives management in civic society organizations, policymakers and managers on the strategic level within social and health care have on community-based prevention, collaborative prevention, outcomes thereof, and their own role in facilitating such collaboration in the Stockholm Region, Sweden. 
 Methods: A qualitative interview study design was used. 24 semi-structured individual interviews were conducted with a strategic sample of regional and municipal policymakers, managers involved in decision making related to prevention of deterioration of health within health and social care, and management in civic society organizations. The framework method was used to analyze the data. 
 Results: Preliminary results elucidate policymakers’ and managers’ views on present preventive collaboration, their own role in enabling and facilitating collaboration, and how they see the need for change in the future. The respondents reflect on their role from different perspectives depending on their position, being involved in either administration or management at the operational or strategic level or in politics. In the latter, the collaboration is described as more abstract and of a strategic nature. Several positive examples of collaboration initiated by the different actors in respective organizations are brought up. At the same time, the informants problematize the challenges when others drive the collaborative governance, and one needs to wedge oneself into the context of collaboration. The word ‘collaboration’ is not used by all respondents, instead, some talk about e.g., multi-professional cooperation. Collaboration is discussed from the perspective of the respondents’ own role (I), and from the perspective of the organization (we). Further analysis of the results is needed, but overall, there is reasoning about structural and cultural aspects and prerequisites for collaboration, as well as the need of personal qualities, skills and competence that favor collaboration. Furthermore, respondents’ reason about whether collaboration could be seen as a means or a goal, or both. In the informants’ reasoning about how to evaluate collaboration three main effects are emphasized: 1) improved outcomes for the elderly, e.g., earlier preventive interventions, 2) positive outcomes for the organization, e.g., financial savings, and 3) positive effects for professionals, e.g., competence building, work becomes more productive and creative). In addition, these outcomes and effects are said to not be achieved without collaboration and these effects don’t occur, i.e., have a direct negative impact when cooperation fails. At the conference, the final results will be presented.

Religious Moderation in Indonesia: A Study on Implementation Patterns of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI)

<em><span>As a symbol of ulema which is the main tent of Muslims in Indonesia, the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) is certainly expected to be able to implement the concept of religious moderation. This paper aims to examine the implementation of MUI religious moderation in Indonesia. Then, this study also aims to discuss how the pattern of implementation of MUI religious moderation towards Muslims, deviant religious beliefs, non-Muslims, and the government. This is qualitative research with a participatory action research (PAR) approach. Informants involved as subjects and objects in this study were structural scholars, academic scholars, and community scholars in the provinces of DKI Jakarta, North Sumatra, and Aceh. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of MUI religious moderation in Indonesia has been implemented well. MUI is responsive and accommodating to the needs of the community, especially Muslims, and plays a very important role in creating a safe and peaceful atmosphere in the community. However, some people consider that the application of MUI's religious moderation values </span><span>to groups that are considered deviant (heretic) and non-Muslims has not run optimally. This can be seen with the issuance of the MUI fatwa on the expectation of the existence of pluralism, liberalism, and religious secularism</span><span lang="EN-IN">. </span><span>MUI is expected to further improve the pattern of its relationship with the two community groups. Meanwhile, towards the government, MUI positions itself as a critical partner of the government (</span><span lang="EN-IN">s</span><span>yarikatul </span><span lang="EN-IN">h</span><span>ukumah). MUI sometimes supports government programs, but it can also disagree with government programs as outlined through MUI fatwas that seem contrary to the interests of the government</span><span lang="EN-IN">,</span><span lang="EN-IN">such as fatwas against vasectomy and fatwas on the use of meningitis vaccines for pilgrims or umrah.</span></em>

Stigma and Mental Well-Being among Teenage Mothers in the Rural Areas of Makhado, Limpopo Province

Adolescent mothers experience psychological challenges, such as social withdrawal and rejection by their communities. Assuming the role of motherhood is associated with emotional and mental distress, such as fear and worry, regret and frustration, guilt and shame, and social isolation. This study adopted a qualitative critical participatory action research approach. Purposive and snowballing recruitment were employed to recruit 11 teenage mothers, and semi-structured face-to-face interviews and focus group discussions were employed to generate data. All sessions were audio recorded and transcribed verbatim. Data were analysed using qualitative thematic analysis. Teenage mothers in this study reported experiencing humiliation and being subjected to degrading remarks and judgement by schoolmates. The experience of being rejected, teased, and labelled made participants feel that they were not accepted as part of their community. It was concluded that teenage mothers experienced inconsistent support from parents and community members, which led to social isolation and feeling rejected; hence, teenage mothers lacked a sense of belonging to and acceptance by their communities. Policymakers and authorities in education and healthcare should encourage social change and transformative learning and address the issue of stigma and social isolation experienced by teenage mothers in rural communities.

A mixed methods PAR study investigating social capital as a resource for Black and other racially minoritised communities in the UK: A study protocol.

Understanding how different Black and other racially minoritised communities thrive is an emerging priority area in mental health promotion. Literature demonstrates health benefits of social capital (social resources embedded within social networks). However, its effects are not always positive, particularly for certain subpopulations who are already disadvantaged.The CONtributions of social NEtworks to Community Thriving (CONNECT) study will use Participatory Action Research (PAR) to investigate social capital as a resource that benefits (or hinders) racially minoritised communities and their mental health. The CONNECT study was designed within a partnership with community organisations and responds to local policy in two South-East London Boroughs, thereby providing potential channels for the action component of PAR. Taking an anti-racism lens, we acknowledge the underpinning role of racism in creating health inequities. We apply an intersectional framework to be considerate of overlapping forms of oppression such as age, gender, socioeconomic status, and sexual orientation as an essential part of developing effective strategies to tackle health inequities. Key components of this mixed methods PAR study include (1) involving racialised minority community members as peer researchers in the team (2) collecting and analysing primary qualitative data via interviews, photovoice, and community mapping workshops, (3) developing relevant research questions guided by peer researchers and collaborating organisations and analysing secondary quantitative data accordingly, (4) integrating qualitative and quantitative phases, and (5) working closely with community and policy partners to act on our findings and use our research for social change.The PAR approach will allow us to engage community (voluntary sector and government) and academic partners in decision making and help address imbalances in power and resource allocation. Knowledge generated through this collaborative approach will contribute to existing community initiatives, policies, and council strategies. This will ensure the views and experiences of racially minoritised communities drive the changes we are collaboratively committed to achieving.

Front porch conversations: Methodological innovations to participatory action research and asset-based community development


 
 
 Complex public problems are resistant to top-down, technical solutions creating the need for new and innovative ways of approaching community. In response, many practitioners working in community development organisations have embraced community strengths- or asset-based approaches to community development, including Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). Similarly, those scholars committed to social change have started to include action research/learning and participatory approaches to their research design, including Participatory Action Research (PAR). This article describes a qualitative method that was developed by a non-profit practitioner working for a local Habitat for Humanity affiliate and a researcher from a land-grant university in Manhattan, Kansas to operationalise a neighbourhood revitalisation framework with a community conversation series called Front Porch Conversations. The qualitative method developed by the university-nonprofit partnership –called the Front Porch Development Procedure – serves as both a PAR-informed mode of inquiry and an ABCD-informed mode of development. This method provides an example of how university-community partnerships can approach changemaking in novel ways by considering ABCD and PAR approaches.

This training used a participatory action research approach. the training was conducted online and attended by 19 mathematics teachers in Pekanbaru. during the training participants showed a positive response and enthusiasm for developing interesting learning media using Geogebra software

PEMANFAATAN ECO ENZYME SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF CAIRAN PEMBERSIH DI KECAMATAN TUAH MADANI KOTA PEKANBARU

The society's need for the availability of cleaning fluids can no longer be ignored, especially after the global outbreak of Covid-19. This situation has compelled the community to adopt clean and healthy lifestyles, triggering an increase in the use of various cleaning fluids within the community. The issue is that, aside from adding to household expenses, excessive use of cleaning fluids can have negative consequences on health and also adversely impact the environment. The objective of this community service is to promote the utilization of eco enzymes as a safe alternative cleaning fluid for users' health and without harming the environment. The method of conducting this community service activity is through the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. This community service activity is attended by 19 participants. The results of this community service show that the participants are enthusiastic and interested in creating and utilizing eco enzymes.

THE ROLE OF THE INDEPENDENT LEARNING PROGRAM ON CAMPUS IN SHAPING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL ECOSYSTEM IN UNIVERSITIES

In 2020, the Indonesian minister of education, Nadiem Makarim, launched the MBKM (Merdeka Learn Campus Merdeka) program to prepare higher education graduates who are demanding to face change. Through the MBKM Program, students have the opportunity for one semester or the equivalent of twenty credits to study outside the study program at the same University and a maximum of two semesters or the equivalent of forty credits of studying in the same study program at different universities, looking in various study programs at multiple universities, and learning outside the university. To give birth to prospective entrepreneurs, universities must create a conducive entrepreneurial ecosystem for students (Mack & Mayer, 2016). The role of each component in the ecosystem, such as faculty, according to Hayter (2016), is needed in adding to the social network of prospective entrepreneurs. Autio et al. (2014) revealed that policymakers are a more dominant factor in creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem. Mueller and Toutain (2015) explain that schools are the right environment to foster cultural creativity, self-confidence, and development freedom. Various internal and external elements must be involved in forming an entrepreneurial ecosystem in higher education. This research is an early stage of research to identify multiple inputs owned by universities in shaping their entrepreneurial ecosystem through the MBKM Entrepreneurship program. The method used in this study is a qualitative method using a participatory action research (PAR) approach. The research results are expected to help universities map the factors that can support the formation of an entrepreneurial ecosystem through the MBKM program carried out by universities.

PKM Pengembangan Desa Wisata Berbasis Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Menuju Kemandirian Ekonomi Desa di Kabupaten Gresik

The development of the country through tourism development is currently a priority program for the central and regional governments. This is not unusual considering the country's economic condition which has experienced a decline after the Covid pandemic over the last two years. The development of tourism villages carried out by the government of Sekapuk Village, Ujungpangkah District, Gresik Regency is one part of the village government's plan to improve the community's economy. The main problem currently being faced is the lack of skills and productivity of community micro, small and medium enterprises as well as the management of PIRT and the legality of MSME products. that has been produced. Empowerment with the title development of tourism villages based on community empowerment towards economic independence aims to 1) alleviate community poverty through sustainable development of community micro, small and medium enterprises, 2) assist in analyzing the potential and realization of micro, small and medium enterprises oriented towards community empowerment towards economic independence. The approach used in this empowerment is a collaborative PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach between researchers and the community to formulate joint problems, plan and carry out joint actions to solve existing problems in a sustainable manner.

A qualitative examination on the implementation of participatory "A"rt-based activity on "Health" of older community-dwellers: what worked for the Singapore A-Health Intervention?

Art and museum-based interventions are gaining increasing recognition for their potential as low-risk activities for older adults, offering numerous physical, cognitive, and emotional benefits. However, there remains a dearth of knowledge regarding the science of implementation as well as the factors and processes that contribute to their effectiveness from the perspectives of intervention participants. The current research draws on the qualitative evaluation data obtained from a larger mixed-method randomized control trial that evaluated a standardized Participatory "A"rt-Based Activity On "Health" of Older Community-Dwellers-the Singapore A-Health Intervention. Adopting a participatory action research approach, the primary objective is to critically examine the lived experiences and health impact of the Singapore A-Health Intervention with a secondary objective to uncover strategies for optimized implementation outcomes. All 56 participants who completed the intervention filled out a program evaluation survey and a nested sample of 30 participants completed a series of acceptability focus groups. Descriptive analyses of the program evaluation survey data revealed that 96.2% of participants were satisfied with the overall experience of the Singapore A-Health intervention (M = 9.00, SD = 1.76), reported that the intervention positively impacted their quality of life (M = 8.90, SD = 1.43), and social wellbeing (M = 8.92, SD = 1.43). Thematic analysis with a grounded theory approach on the qualitative focus group data revealed three interrelated themes detailing how the Singapore A-Health Intervention contributed to positive health and wellbeing outcomes (1. A-Health Experience, 2. Wellbeing Outcomes, 3. Enabling Factors) and nine subthemes (1a. Intellectual Stimulation, 1b. Positive Stress, 1c. Peer Interaction, 2a. Interpersonal Bonds, 2b. Personal Growth, 2c. Mindful Living, 3a. Integrated Support, 3b. Session Design, 3c. Mode of Engagement). This investigation provides important insights to the Singapore A-Health intervention's effectiveness for enhancing wellbeing among older adults, as well as the factors that enable successful program implementation. These findings offer a culturally unique perspective on the benefits of art and museum interventions, while underscoring the imperative need for strong partnership and collaborations among community stakeholders in supporting the health and wellbeing of ageing populations.
