Deconstructing Masculinity in Gender Equality Campaigns (Study of Participation of Men with Family Planning in DRPPA Penyamun Pemali Bangka)

The current family planning (KB) program approach not only aims to control the population and reduce fertility levels, but also to ensure the fulfillment of reproductive rights. Men's participation in this program is considered important because they are women's partners in matters of reproduction and sexuality, so responsibility must be shared equally between men and women. This research aims to identify how the local government carries out deconstruction in the gender equality campaign in the Penyamun DRPPA, Pemali District, Bangka Regency, as well as to understand community perceptions of men's participation in family planning programs. This research method is a descriptive qualitative study, using data collection through FGD, in-depth interviews, observation and documentation studies. The research results show that the campaign for men's participation in family planning is carried out through advocacy, communication, information and education (KIE), but it is still more aimed at women. Even though there have been deconstruction efforts from the central to the village level, men's participation in family planning has still not reached an adequate level. The public's perception of men's participation in family planning in Penyamun Village is still limited to the level of knowledge, because the campaign carried out only brings changes in knowledge. Factors such as patriarchal culture, religion, and shame play a role in maintaining the role of family planning among women

Ketidakadilan Gender dalam Rumah Tangga pada Diskusi Susahnya Jadi Perempuan Part 2 Mata Najwa: Kajian Pragmatik

Married life being one of the new levels of a life that brings some differences to some people. The concept of division of roles in the household is often misunderstood by some groups in society. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out several studies in this regard. The study with the object of discussion “Susahnya Jadi Perempuan Part 2 Mata Najwa” aims to theoretically prove the phenomenon of gender inequality experienced in households. To achieve this goal, we use a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. The dialogues uttered by the speakers were also reviewed through pragmatic theory and resulted in the discovery of locutionary, illocutionary, and perlocutionary speech acts in the object. Through the application of gender inequality theory to objects, it was found that there are two forms of inequality that occur in households, namely workload or double burden, and stereotypes that include women”s beauty standards, men’s participation in family planning programs, and men’s obligations in the household .

Analysis of the Healthy Family Index: The Impact of Implementing the Healthy Indonesia Program with Family Approach

The Healthy Indonesia Program with Family Approach (PIS-PK) is a primary initiative enforced by the current government to enhance the quality of family life and public health. In this context, the assessment of the Healthy Family Index (IKS) is essential for implementing appropriate interventions and efforts to prevent chronic diseases at the family level. Measurement indicators of IKS include healthy, pre-healthy, and unhealthy family categories. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze IKS based on PIS-PK in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi in Indonesia. A quantitative design with an analytical survey was used to measure IKS across the entire family population in the Jeneponto Regency Health Center working area, totaling 1,321 households. The total sampling method was applied, and data from 12 healthy family indicators were evaluated following the IKS formula. The results showed that the average IKS value ranged from 0.59 to 0.77, representing unhealthy, pre-healthy, and healthy family, which constituted 12%, 54.35%, and 33.5% of the examined population, respectively. High numbers of family fell in the pre-healthy and unhealthy categories due to limited participation in family planning program (55.11%), non-utilization of official facilities for childbirth (11.65%), lack of exclusive breastfeeding practices over 7–23 months (10.14%), and absence of weight monitoring at Posyandu (5.59%). Consequently, integrated efforts and cross-sectoral engagement are crucial for improving IKS status.

Overview of Husbands' Knowledge About Condom Contraception at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan in 2023

The uncontrolled increase in population in Indonesia causes various problems. An effort to overcome this situation is the family planning program. However, currently men's participation in family planning programs is still very low. This study aims to determine the description of husbands' knowledge about condom contraception at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan in 2023. This research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional research design, the population of all husbands and wives receiving family planning at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. The sample consisted of 93 respondents who were collected using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire and then carried out univariate analysis. The majority of respondents were aged 26-35 years (36.6%), high school (48.4%), private employees (32.3%), income < IDR 5,000,000/month (59.1%). The purpose of contraceptive use that is most widely known by respondents is pregnancy spacing and family welfare (100%), condom (100%), the purpose of using condoms to avoid venereal disease and wait for more permanent use of birth control (100%), the advantages of using condoms are practical/easy to use (96.8%), the disadvantage is that they can only be used once (100%), and the place to get condoms is at the health center and midwife/private doctor's practice (100%). The description of respondents' knowledge regarding condom is at a low level of knowledge (40.9%) while at a high level of knowledge (59.1%). Description of husband's knowledge about condom contraception at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan in 2023 is at a high level of knowledge.

INCORPORATING COMPLEX SURVEY DESIGN FOR ANALYSING THE DETERMINANT OF WOMEN IN REPRODUCTIVE AGE PARTICIPATION IN FAMILY PLANNING PROGRAM IN INDONESIA

Data generated from complex survey are often treated as un-weighted simple random samples by analyst. This is unfortunate because everyone has different probability to be selected as sample in each stage of the complex survey design. Fail taking it into account will have serious impact in parameter and variance estimation. This paper aims to examining relationship between participation in family planning program and socio demographic status of women in reproductive age in Indonesia used data from latest Indonesian’s Demographic and Health Survey (IDHS). IDHS employs a multi stage stratified sampling design, thus there are a number of weights included in public-use IDHS datasets to account for this complex sample design. We found that the complex design features of the IHDS increased the variance estimates of the estimated parameters in the logistic regression models by about 1.325 – 1.88 times, compared to a simple random sampling. Therefore, using variance estimated from un-weighted simple random samples would lead to wrong conclusion of the significance parameter suggested by the model. The result also found that all of socio demographics variables used as predictors are significant. Thus, women with moderate education, unemployment, exposed by media, living in rural community and wealthy, have spouse that have moderate education and have a job tend to participate in family planning program.

Stakeholders' perceptions of family planning programs during the COVID-19 period: A descriptive qualitative study.

The number of unintended pregnancies and the decreasing use of contraceptives during the COVID-19 pandemic are of particular concern to the national population and family planning program. The successful implementation of the family planning program cannot be carried out by the government alone. Still, it requires strong synergy with stakeholders. The difference in perceptions among stakeholders, acceptors, and the community about family planning is crucial, so qualitative research is needed to identify this matter. This study explores stakeholders' perceptions of post-partum family planning programs and their barriers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, with participants consisting of family planning officers, cadres of family planning units, and the head of the family planning program. The data were collected through in-depth interviews and examined using content analysis. The results show that health workers and community leaders cooperated at the village and sub-district levels in realising the family planning programs. During the COVID-19 pandemic, services were stopped at the public health centre, especially long-term contraceptive method services. Stakeholders believe that barriers to the program's success include education level, negative perceptions, lack of training, and low trust in partners. Cross-sectoral engagement is essential in increasing participation in family planning programs. Other critical success factors are support from husbands, community leaders, and local government.

Peningkatan Pemahaman tentang Pentingnya Program Keluarga Berencana di Dusun Mojosari Kelurahan Wonolelo Kecamatan Pleret Bantul

The family planning program is currently only directed toward women. Thus causing the impression that it is women who have the responsibility in terms of regulating pregnancy. Men's participation as well as the head of the family plays an important role in family planning programs in several countries, including Indonesia. This community service program aims to encourage husbands' participation in family planning programs by improving understanding of contraceptive methods KB MOP (Male Method of Operation). Participants in this activity were residents of Dusun Mojosari Wonolelo, Bantul, targeting husbands or heads of families. The method used is Urgency, Seriousness, and Growth (USG). Community service is carried out by educating the use of several types of contraceptive methods/methods as well as myths and facts, especially KB MOP. Then he carried out educational innovations about family planning through simulations from videos. This activity was carried out for approximately 3 hours. After participating in this activity, it is hoped that men, especially husbands, will have extensive knowledge about contraceptive methods. This community service is carried out in an integrated manner through Field Learning Practices for STIKes Surya Global Yogyakarta Students. Forms of information and education about myths and facts about contraceptive methods and family planning are the approaches taken in this activity. Through this community service program it has been proven to be able to increase men's knowledge on family planning issues. The program target participates actively during the activity, so that their knowledge of family planning increases through community involvement starting from the process of prioritizing problems so that the interventions carried out really represent the needs of the community.

Curcumin, a potential oral herbal male contraceptive: a review article

Background: Worldwide, the population explosion and unintended pregnancies pose serious health issues. The family planning program is a vital element due to reducing population growth. Demographic data and family planning in Indonesia report that contraceptive use rates are 93.66% for women and 6.34% for men. Men's participation in family planning programs remains low, with options limited to vasectomy and condoms. Limited contraceptive options may explain the low participation rate. WHO recommends traditional medicine as a cost-effective substitute for manufactured medicines. The primary ingredient in turmeric, Curcumin, has antiviral, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anticancer activities. In both animal and human clinical trials, it has demonstrated a lack of toxicity. Little research has been done on how it affects the male reproductive. Objective: This article reviews the literature regarding the effects of Curcumin in Curcuma Longa on male fertility. Conclusion: Curcumin in Curcuma Longa causes noticeable changes in the male reproductive system that reverse when treatment is discontinued. Therefore, Curcumin may potentially control male fertility as a male contraceptive.

Men's involvement in family planning programs and associated factors from the perspective of women in Afghanistan; a case study

ObjectivesFamily planning is a cornerstone to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals. However, men's involvement in family planning has been a challenge in many countries. This study aimed to investigate the participation of men in the family planning programs and related factors from the perspective of women referring to family planning organizations in Herat, Afghanistan 2021. MethodsThe study had a cross-sectional design. The participants of the study consisted of 544 married women aged 15-49 years selected by simple random sampling. The data collection tool was a valid and reliable questionnaire to assess the participation of men in family planning programs. To analyze the data, descriptive statistics and analytical methods including Mann-Whitney and Pearson Chi-Square tests were applied in SPSS 21. The answers to the open-end questions were analyzed, coded and classified in two main categories. ResultsThe average age of study participants was 28(±10) years and a significant proportion of them were illiterate (48.5%). Most of the participants were housewives (83.6%) and their husbands were non-professional workers (39.9%). The husbands participated in family planning programs by choosing the type of contraception (29.2%), provision of contraceptives (29.6%) and supporting their wives using them (49.3%). There were statistically significant relationships between women's and their husband's education level, and husband's employment status with the type of participation in family planning. The main incentives for Afghan men to participate family planning were the increased attention of families to the education and needs of children and the health and welfare of the wives. However, cultural norms supporting larger families, the desire for having boy children, the fear of contraception's side effects and religious prohibitions discourage them in using family planning methods. ConclusionA large number of the respondents stated that their spouse participated in family planning programs. It shows the importance and success of family planning centers in promoting sexual and reproductive health and family planning. Study showed that various factors affected men's participation in family planning programs. Recognition of these factors can help policy makers in designing behavioral interventions based on social marketing, and enhancing the effectiveness of these programs.

Hubungan Paritas Ibu Bersalin dengan Kejadian Perpanjangan Kala 1 Fase Aktif

The maternal mortality rate is mostly caused by prolonged labor as much as 8%, one of which is caused by the extension of the first stage of the active phase. 16.7% maternity mothers experienced an extension of the first stage of the active phase caused by parity factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal parity and the incidence of prolongation of the active phase.This research design is correlation analytic, based on cross sectional time. The population and sample of this study were all mothers who gave birth in January-May 2022 as many as 35 respondents using saturated sampling technique. The independent variable is maternal parity, while the dependent variable is the incidence of prolongation of the first stage of the active phase. Data obtained using partograph with contingency coefficient statistical test.The results of statistical tests obtained X2count (7.047) > X2table (5.991) with a contingency coefficient of 0.409 so it can be concluded that there is a moderate relationship between maternal parity and the extension of stage 1 of the active phase.For mothers with primiparas, it is expected to routinely carry out antenatal checks so that high risks are detected early during delivery, multiparous mothers minimize the occurrence of extension of the active phase 1 by following the advice of midwives during labor and grandemultipara mothers are advised not to have more children so that there is no risk high rates of pregnancy and childbirth with participation in family planning programs

Melihat Keikutsertaan Suami dalam Program Keluarga Berencana di Kecamatan Banda Sakti Kota Lhokseumawe

The participation of men in the Family Planning (KB) program, especially the use of contraceptives in Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City is still very low. The purpose of this study was to determine what factors influence men's participation in the family planning program in Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City. The research design used a cross-sectional approach to 66 respondents obtained through simple random sampling technique. The results showed a significant relationship between service quality factors (p value = 0.003, OR = 11.200), knowledge (p value = 0.009, OR = 14.385) and culture (p value = 0.000, RO = 13.300) with male participation in family planning programs. There is no significant relationship between socio-demography (education, income and number of children) and access to services with male participation in family planning in Banda Sakti District, Lhokseumawe City. To increase participation, appropriate methods are needed, especially for conveying information on condom and vasectomy programs as well as increasing family planning promotion through media with attractive packaging variations so that knowledge about contraception increases. And also increase socialization about equality in the use of contraception, not always the wife, husband must also participate as a family planning acceptor.

KONTRASEPSI VASEKTOMI PRIA: PERSPEKTIF TEOLOGI ETIKA TERAPAN

<em>The Covid-19 pandemic that began in early 2020 has had serious impacts on various aspects of life globally, nationally and locally, including family planning program services in Indonesia. BKKBN, for example, carries out various policies to increase participation in family planning programs to maintain community welfare by anticipating the baby boom during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on the results of the survey conducted, the interest of men to participate in becoming MOP contraceptive acceptors began to increase. This is certainly a progress where the awareness of men to participate in family planning programs is increasing. The increase in participants occurred because of ‘correct’ knowledge about family planning programs. Before the Covid-19 pandemic, many men and their families did not have adequate knowledge about vasectomy as a method of contraception. Consequently, this caused limited accessibility to contraceptive services and acceptance among men. The main objective of this paper is therefore to provide complete and clear information to men regarding the benefits, impacts and perspectives of applied ethical theology on the use of the vasectomy method of contraception. Methodologically, this study uses a qualitative method by collecting several journals and books related to the formulation of the problem and looking for possible equations to answer this research problem. The expected results are therefore a wider recognition of the important role of health workers, culture, and experienced family planning cadres, as well as a provision of knowledge and direction in socializing the vasectomy method, including understanding the theologically ethical perspectives of vasectomy as a method of contraception.</em> <br /> <br /><strong>Key words:</strong> Covid-19, Ethical Theological Perspectives, Family Planning Program, Men, Vasectomy.

PENDAMPINGAN SUAMI DALAM KEIKUTSERTAAN PROGRAM KELUARGA BERENCANA MELALUI PERBAIKAN PEMAHAMAN TENTANG METODE KONTRASEPSI KELURAHAN BINTARORE KECAMATAN UJUNG BULU KABUPATEN BULUKUMBA

Male participation is one of the problems that are still faced in family planning programs in several countries, including Indonesia. Family planning programs that focus on women in a society that adheres to a patriarchal system give the impression that women are the ones who are responsible for managing pregnancy. This community service program aims to encourage husbands' participation in family planning programs through improving their understanding of contraceptive methods. After participating in this activity, it is hoped that husbands will have broad knowledge about contraceptive methods. This community service is carried out in an integrated manner through the PKK activity for the Tahirah Al Baeti Bulukumba Midwifery Community in 2021 in the Menara Environment, Bintarore Village, Kec. Ujung Bulu, Bulukumba Regency. The approach taken is through mentoring as a form of community engagement and education about myths and facts about contraceptive methods and family planning. This community service program has been proven to be able to significantly increase men's knowledge on family planning issues. Community involvement, starting from the process of determining problem priorities, makes the interventions that are carried out truly become community needs. This indirectly causes the target to participate actively during the activity, so that his knowledge of family planning increases.

HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU PASCA SALIN DENGAN PERILAKU IBU PASCA SALIN DALAM KEPESERTAAN KB PASCA SALIN DI PUSKESMAS TEBING TAHUN 2017

Post-partum contraception is the immediate use of contraceptive devices after the delivery process up to 42 days after. The principle of choosing kind of contraceptive method are not to interfere thebreast milk production of the mother. Precisely, this study aims to determine whether there is a correlation of the knowledge levels and the attitude of the post-partum mothers on the family planning. This research employed analytic research design with cross sectional approach. The study was conducted from March to July 2017 at Tebing Community Health Centre. The population investigated was2 months post-partum mothers with sample of 42 respondents in total derived from the accidental sampling technique. As the research instruments, the researchers used questionnaires to be distributed and fulfilled by the 42 respondents. The data gathered was analyzed by univariate and bivariate Chi-Square statistical test. The result of the test shows that 10 respondents (62,5%) have good knowledge level of post-partum family planning and 6 respondents (37,5%) possess good knowledge level yetdo not attend the post-partum family planning. Meanwhile, 4 respondents (15,4%) are lack of knowledge on post-partum family planning and 22 respondents (84,6%) have less knowledge level and do not take the post-partum family planning. In conclusion, based in the findings elaborated,it is noted that there is a correlation between the knowledge and attitude of post-partum mothers on their participation in family planning program. As the suggestion, it is expected thatall respondents of post-partum mothers can possibly apply information and knowledge about the post-partum family planning in real life contexts.

Faktor-Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Partisipasi Pria dalam Program Keluarga Berencana di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi

This paper aims to gain an understanding of the characteristics of male couples of childbearing age, their participation in the family planning program and to assess the factors that influence men's participation in the family planning program in Muaro Jambi District. The problem in this study is focused on the low rate, where in 2018 only 1.3% consisted of 1.2% condom acceptors and 0.1% vasectomy acceptors (MOP). This achievement is very far behind when compared to the Jambi Province coverage of 2.5%. This condition illustrates the low participation of men in the family planning program in Muaro Jambi Regency. In order to approach this problem a reference is used from several factors that influence the low proda participation in the family planning program, including predisposing factors, supporting factors and driving factors. The data were collected through a direct interview survey to respondents using a questionnaire and analyzed using a quantitative method with a cross sectional design approach. This study concludes that knowledge is the most dominant factor associated with male participation in family planning programs in Muaro Jambi District. Men with good knowledge about family planning were 2.037 times more likely to participate in family planning programs than men with knowledge Â

Health Promotion Strategy for Improving Men’s Participation in Family Planning Program in the Underdeveloped Areas, Borders and Islands and Poor Urban Areas

The participation of men in family planning in Indonesia is still very low, where the men who use the MedicalMale Operations (MOP) method are only 0.2% while the condom use is 3.1% (IDHS 2017), Likewise inEast Java only 3.7% of the total new KB participants in 2019. The conditions most in need of attention arein underdeveloped areas, borders, islands and poor areas, which are in dire need of appropriate strategicbreakthroughs. FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PARTISIPASI PRIA DALAM KELUARGA BERENCANA DI KECAMATAN RUMBAI PESISIR TAHUN 2012

The man participation in family planning (FP) mean to take part in this program inspite of founding good sexual behavior for themselves and their wife. This research explore several factors which related to man participation in FP program on Rumbai Pesisir Sub district, Municipality of Pekanbaru in the year of 2012.Research design is case control study, with case is the man not participate in FP program while as control is the man whom taking part on the FP in the year of 2012. Result the man with acces difficulty to family planning program 10 times risk not to participate compared with the counterpart/control (CI 95% : OR = 5,3 – 17,9), men not supported by social and cultural aspect for family planning program 4 times risk not to participate (CI 95% : OR= 2,4 – 7,9), men with negative opinion to family palnning program 4 times risk not to participate(CI 95%: OR = 1,3 – 7,0), while the man from low income family 2 times risk not to participate (CI 95% : OR = 1,2 – 3,5) compared with their counterparts respectively. Conclusion: Multivariate analysis revealed that independent variable related to man participation , the family planning program, social and cultural aspect, opinión to family planning program and family income. Wife age is the only Independence variabel related counter directionally. Parity, education level and knowladge to family planning program are three variables not related to men participation, meanwhile family planning service quality is the confounding variable to service acces variable and social and cultural variable. Suggestion : increase quality and acces of family planning services including site of service, concellor, cost and spesific family planning promotion for mankind. Family planning and health service program is distributed to all area of Rumbai Pesisir subsdistric and to increase the support of public figure and all stake holder for Family planning program.

Ten Years of Experience in Contraception Options for Teenagers in a Family Planning Center in Thrace and Review of the Literature

Introduction: The goal of our study was to investigate and evaluate the contraceptive behavior in teenagers from our family planning centre that services two different religious and socioeconomic populations living in the Thrace area. Methods: During the last 10 years 115 Christian Orthodox (group A) and 53 Muslim teenagers (group B) were enrolled in our retrospective study. Contraceptive practice attitudes were assessed by a questionnaire. Religion, demographics, socio-economic characteristics were key factors used to discuss contraception and avoid unplanned pregnancy in each group and to compare with the contraceptive method used. Results: The most used contraceptive method—about two times more frequently—among Christian Orthodox participants was the oral contraceptive pill (p = 0.015; OR = 1.81, 95% CI = 1.13–2.90), while in the other group the use of condoms and IUDs was seven and three times more frequent, respectively. Our family planning centre was the main source of information for contraception. Conclusions: During adolescence, the existence of a family planning centre and participation in family planning programs plays a crucial role to help the teenagers to improve their knowledge and choose an effective contraception method.

Nursing Staff’s Views Regarding Barriers to Vasectomy: A Cross-Sectional Survey

Background and Aims: Family planning has a controlling effect on the rate of population growth throughout the world in addition to preventing pregnancy-related health risks in women, reducing infant mortality, helping to prevent children’s congenital diseases, and improving quality of life of the family. Despite, men’s participation in family planning programs tends to promote life standards and help national development, but men do not very willing accept vasectomy. This study aimed to investigate the nursing personnel perspectives toward vasectomy barriers. Materials and Methods: This cross-sectional and micro-level study was performed on 66 eligible nursing personnel who were selected by convenience sampling. Data gathering instrument was a valid and reliable questionnaire. Data analysis carried out using statistical methods such as frequencies, One-way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and independent t- test in SPSS software with version 16. Results: According to the study findings, the mean age of the subjects was 29.32±5.64 and 60.6% of them were women with nursing bachelor and 48.5% participants were married for more than ten years and had 2 to 4 children of both sexes. According to the perspectives of nurses, the major barriers orderly included: irreversibility (62.1%), permanent infertility (56.1%), blaming by relatives and acquaintances (48.5%), and inconsistent with the existing culture in society (40.9%). Among demographic variables, there was a significant correlation only between education level with subjects' attitude (p<0.05). Discussion: According to study results, giving correct information about contraceptives and their health outcomes for target groups and changing their attitudes towards family planning barriers especially vasectomy are recommended and emphasized.

Unripe Papaya (Carica papaya L.) Seed Hexane Fraction Extract Inhibits Male Mice (Mus musculus) Spermatogenesis Stronger Than Unripe Papaya Seed Methanolic Extract

Background: Men and women have the same rights and obligations in family planning program. Practically, participation in family planning program is still predominated by women while participation of men is still low. Low participation of men in family planning program is due to very limited choices in male contraceptive method. In recent years, studies have been refocused on investigating traditional plants as antifertility herbal medicine for men. Studies on antifertility effects of unripe papaya seeds have been done. However, similar studies on hexane fraction extract have not yet been done. In this study, unripe seeds were collected from local Balinese papaya ( Carica papaya ) fruits. Objective: This study was aimed to assess the effect of unripe papaya seeds hexane fraction extract on spermatogenesis and the testosterone level of male mice. Hexane fraction extract of unripe papaya seeds contains glycosides and triterpenoids, which is assumed to have an antifertility property, so it can be used as a male contraceptive, although the mechanism of action remains to be elucidated. Method: This study used pre-test and post-test control group design, using 30 male mice of balb C strain, 12 weeks of age, weighing 20-22 gram, which were randomly grouped into 3 groups, each consisting of 10 male mice. One control group (P0 = control group) was given double-distilled water, and two treatment groups were given hexane fraction extract of unripe Carica papaya seeds 20 mg/20gram/day, and methanolic extract of unripe Carica papaya seeds 20 mg/20 gram/day (P1 and P2, respectively). After 36 days of treatment, evaluation of the testes and blood of the male mice was conducted. Results: Data were analysed by normality test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov Goodness of Fit, homogeneity test, and Anova test. This study showed that spermatogonia A, primary pachytene spermatocytes, spermatid and Sertoli cells were decreased significantly (p 0,05). Conclusion: It can be concluded that hexane fraction extract of unripe Carica papaya seeds can decrease the mean number of spermatogonia A cells, spermatocyte of primary pachytene spermatocytes, spermatid and Sertoli cells better than methanolic extract of unripe Carica papaya seeds.
