Abstract
The participation of men in family planning in Indonesia is still very low, where the men who use the MedicalMale Operations (MOP) method are only 0.2% while the condom use is 3.1% (IDHS 2017), Likewise inEast Java only 3.7% of the total new KB participants in 2019. The conditions most in need of attention arein underdeveloped areas, borders, islands and poor areas, which are in dire need of appropriate strategicbreakthroughs. Strengthen the advocacy efforts fornew regional leaders so that the family planning program can continue to run in the regencies/cities withouthaving to start from zero again, provide training to male family planning motivators so that the informationprovided to prospective acceptors is more detailed and accurate and follows up the results of training ofmedical personnel and midwives.
