Mirror, mirror on the wall, which is the most stable of them all? Large parity-violation energy differences of up to 300 Hz are predicted for a number of chiral transition-metal compounds containing heavy elements. These molecules are ideal candidates for high-resolution spectroscopy experiments to detect the breakdown of mirror-image symmetry in molecules for the first time.
